I suppose getting hit by a car qualifies. I keep thinking there was something I could have done to make it not happen when there really wasn't. I looked to see if there was no traffic headed my way and the cars at the corner were stopped. "Maybe I shouldn't have been out walking at such a busy intersection." There are crosswalks and lights there, it's not like pedestrians are forbidden =\ and I was just getting some exercise. It's supposed to be good for me.

I could recite the hamtaro theme on command. I didn't much listen to music other than grandma's Elvis collection or what my mom had on in the car as a kid,so most of my favorite music was what was on TV. A lot of cartoon theme songs and later anime once I caught the weeb.
How did you catch the weeb?

Mew Mew Power was a thing I watched. And then I got into Tokyo Mew Mew which was much better. And then Sailor Moon. And then Vocaloid. All the while listening to DDR songs and Ayumi Hamasaki.
What type of shoes do you like wearing the most?

No shoes. I really don't like wearing shoes because my feet get really hot really quickly. But if I had to choose, I'd say flip flops because I can easily take them off when my feet get hot. I can't wait for warmer weather and to get a pedicure too.
What do you prefer: curly or straight hair?

On myself? Straight, definitely. My hair's so goddamn thick. Otherwise I don't have a preference. Like, at all.
Do you have a favourite thing that is 'so bad it's good'?

OH! I really like Garzey's Wing ironically. I quote things from that bloody anime like "He's just human. Humans are just human" or the "I must somehow makes sense of this convoluted situation". HELL, I even have a tumblr blog dedicated to it. *Granted, it's inactive.... but still!!! XD*
What is the one thing you created that you now regret?

I have a bittersweet relationship with Our Life in the Sphinx. I mean I like it sorta? It's fun to work on and I'm glad people like it but like??
I do not want something as not serious to be the one thing people remember u feel. Shrugging emoji
What's your dream career?

I suspect my dream career is like many others on this board -- I would like to create and sell my own stories for a living. What medium, I'm not sure. Writing used to be my number one, but I make more comics now than anything. The one thing it's missing is that it wouldn't keep me up and moving throughout the day, which is what I have at my job now. Minus the early waking time and the serious lack of vacation time, I'm actually in a pretty good place in my head.
What was the biggest risk you've taken that paid off?

I've never taken a very big risk as far as I can remember. I guess I'm not much of a risk taker. The biggest risk I can recall taking is telling my parents I want to pursue an art major. That was a somewhat scary moment for me because I thought they might be disappointed in me. They didn't seem to mind too much but I eventually decided not to pursue an art as my major.

I have a list. But I will say I have an aversion to pasta, weirdly enough. A lot of it had to do with a dream that I once had where people shot mucus out of their nose in the shapes of snails and pasta shells. That made me never want to try it. Not helping is the texture. It makes me feel sick just imagining the texture.
How good are your taste buds? Like can you taste certain ingredients or whether or not ingredients are out of date or what have you?

I can usually tell if it's sour, salty, etc. I don't really pay mind as to what ingredients are used.
How long does it take you draw usually?

Depends on what it is and how I choose to color it (so I guess 1-4 hours). How would you describe a friend?

Someone I have ongoing positive interactions with and have gotten to know a little more personally than most people I meet. I think that's it.
Is there a movie or book that changed the way you see life?

Sure, ever read Inferno by Dante Alighieri, with illustrations by Gustave Dore? That's freakin' beautiful, and the book's not as scary as some people made me to believe. Made me realize that I'm a true cynic, and that Karmic Retribution has to be like, the best way to deal with the evil in people.
Got any inspirations?
