SIMS.
What would you like to achieve this upcoming school year? If you're not in school, what would you like to achieve before the end of 2014?

I want to pass all my classes, including criminal justice. I also want to have in all of my MAP parts and episode 1 of my own fanime... is that too much to ask for?
What are some unusual names people have called you, or how many names do you go by (internet aliases)?

I usually just go by Ashley, and most of my usernames are EternalAshley. As for nicknames I've been called Ash, Ashy, Snashley(in like middle school), for some reason my dad calls my sister and I "the squids", I feel like titee had a nickname for me but for some reason I can't remember it.
If you were to change the genre of your fanime, but kept the same characters, what genre would you change it to?

I grab things with my foot.
Ever watched something you thought you didn't like when you were young but now you adore?

Yes, kind of. It's a funny story, actually, so I'm going to tell it. When I was really young, I was super into Powerpuff Girls. (In fact, when I got into it in kindergarten, it's what got me into drawing anything at all.) My family was kinda poor, so all we had was basic television, which meant I only ever saw the show on when I got ahold of some VHSs or DVDs, or went over to a family member's house who had cable. Soooo... my treat was Saturday Morning Cartoons as well as after school cartoons. As of such, I loved looking forward to those when they'd air. One day, they started airing NEW episodes of PPGs (which made me ecstatic because I always saw re-runs over and over because that's all I had) on KidsWB Channel 4. Needless to say, I watched the heck out of that.
Then I ended up going on vacation with my family for a little while. Upon returning, I'd saw they replaced PPGs with some new show called "Yu-Gi-Oh". Oh, I was enraged. "How dare they replace my Powerpuff Girls!!" I told myself that I would NEVER watch that stupid yugioh show because it'd replaced PPGs and was probably not all that good anyway.
So I avoided the show for a while and turned my nose up at it. That is, until one weekday afternoon I decided to sit down and watch it to see how "stupid" it really was. And then... I fell in love with it. It is still one of my most cherished anime memories despite 4Kids and all their stupidities. Yu-Gi-Oh 4 lief.
Now that all that is over with...
Who would you love to meet in person, if you had a chance to meet anyone at all?

HNNNGHHHHH.
I would cry if I met Justin Timberlake. Because I'm a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE FAN. Last year's VMAs, it felt like I was there in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY in the audience singing his songs. My friends are still weirded out by my fan girling.
Shounen or Shoujo and why?

Tough question. Shounen can get a bit corny sometimes what with its exaggerated yelling and mecha stuff and long winded speeches, but shoujo is a bit more magical and less grounded in reality. Seeing as I'm a girl and I like girly things, shoujo does appeal to my tastes a bit more than shounen, and I guess a lot of it comes down to me wanting to see interesting female characters if given a choice between female and male characters. Shounen tropes are fun though, so it's a close call.
What is your stance on parody and satire?

I like it if it's intelligent and insightful. It has to have a life of its own to capture my interest, taking whatever its a parody of and creating its own story and unique characters. I think pulling satire off successfully is a lot more difficult than it seems.
What's your favorite thing to cook (if you like cooking at all)?

Do pizza spirals count? Probably not.
Now here's a cliche as old as time itself: if you were stranded on a desert item and you could only bring one island, what would it be? (Actually, you need to swap 'item' and 'island' for the question to make sense. I just thought it'd be funny to leave that typo in.)

Probably lethal injection. Mostly painless and quick. Or so I've heard.
If the world went without laws for a day and you could do anything you want without ever being punished for it, what would it be?
