Welcome! Glad you decided to join us!
As the other two said, I understand the one-man show. I tried having a small team and that quickly fell apart haha... Almost wish I could clone myself so I could get everything I wanted done, done faster! Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Hello friends!
Okay I'm kind of nervous about posting here, since it's been a long time since I've made an actual fanime but I do want to be involved in the community again, whether it be through voice acting or any other things!
Anyway, hola, this is Missy, also known as LiteralNovice on deviantART and Tumblr. I'm 20 years old and an Australian. So don't be worried if you see me hanging around when everyone else is asleep. I'm thinking of becoming a librarian, so that may say a few things about me.
The one thing it may say is that I've moved from animating to literature. These are two skills I've been developing side by side. I've been drawing as long as I've been writing. I haven't been animating as long, however, having only started animation at age 13. I've been with the fanime community for a long time, ever since 2008. Just like my own personal skills, there have been improvements in anatomy and much more ingenious stories and everyone seems to have just got so much better. Honestly, seeing the fanime all over Tumblr has made me want to come back and be invested along with you guys.
Another thing I've been doing is some voice acting, but you don't want to know what for. I do try out from time to time, so if you need a voice actor, I'll see what I can do.
My fanime creation history includes The Herstilanean Chanter and Tsuki No Ningyo, two projects which have long since been abandoned. I also did once make a dumb joke fanime called Lorem Ipsum, which you should watch if you want 30 minutes of painful editing with no laughter. There have been several unwritten stories in my mind that has spanned over several years.
In terms of projects, I don't have any ongoing stuff, but I have written two stories in full for NaNoWriMo. These stories are The Magical Girlfriend Complex and Times On The Townside (which I wrote just last year). Both of those stories are in the same story arc and I plan to write another sequel for NaNoWriMo this year.
I see some familiar faces here, so hopefully I'll get along just fine! .u.

Dude, you totally forgot about Missy's Mew Team! Anyway, welcome to this place, person whom I have never met before. Also, while there are certainly a lot of fanimators around here, this forum's not specifically focused on fanime. The literature section hasn't gotten much attention yet, so you could surely liven it up a bit by posting there.

You don't know me, but you know a fanime of mine that barely got made. Riiiiiiiiight.
I'll probably post more in the literary section and stuff when my brain isn't tired. G'night.

Hello everyone... I also wish to introduce myself! My name is Shaina, otherwise known as Schribbit on youtube and Magical-girl-school on tumblr. I am currently 18 years old, and I live in Ohio! (I was surprised to see Evan is also!)
Anyway, my recent project that I wish to disclose is Magical Girl School, and I've been drawing and animating since age 11. I wasn't too into anime at the time, I just liked Naruto (Which might become noticeable from my fanime at some point).
Well that seems to be all... it's nice to see everyone getting together!

Thank you very much! That's very kind for you to say and I appreciate it! I hope this'll bring old and new creators (and not just limited to fanime, but all sources of non-professionally-funded projects)!

Hello everyone... I also wish to introduce myself! My name is Shaina, otherwise known as Schribbit on youtube and Magical-girl-school on tumblr. I don't know if many will recognize my first username, but I was also into fanime when it first came out, and I went by Kawaiinekinu on Youtube and Deviantart (both are dead accounts, basically) I made mainly meme videos and such. (like nomnom or icecream and cake) I am currently 18 years old, and I live in Ohio! (I was surprised to see Evan is also!) Anyway, my recent project that I wish to disclose is Magical Girl School, and I've been drawing and animating since age 11. I wasn't too into anime at the time, I just liked Naruto (Which might become noticeable from my fanime at some point). My favorite things include Steam Powered Giraffe, pretty much any fanime, and playing videogames (mainly Animal Crossing WW and any sort of fighting game[naruto, x-men...]) Well that seems to be all... it's nice to see everyone getting together! Oh I didn't know you were Kawaiinekinu! That username sounds very familiar. Nice to see you here though! Welcome!! There's lots of Ohioans surprisingly (I'm from Ohio originally as well haha)

pilotobvious oh haha well about conbo... yes I would love to continue conbo as an animation but I don't think the story really calls for animation... I honestly think I should've had it a comic series all along! Which I'll announce sometime on tumblr. I don't know when but yeah...
arenia Ah, there were so many usernames with "Kawaii" in them, I doubt you knew me. X)
and wow! I'm actually really excited to know ohio is popular for fanimators! haha!

Hello fanimators! I am the Otaku + Krap channel and also known as TenshiHanka... and hopefully not known as MyComputerLab.I am 19 and in MD/USA. I'm so new to fanime that I'm like that transfer student who looks super suspicious.So... why am I here? {Spoiler}The first time I remember paying attention to fanime was when I saw a WIP of a subscriber to one of my channels. This person actually commented on my videos so I checked out some fanime stuff and thought "Hey, I wanted to make my own anime for a really long time now." Stuff like School Rumble and Kill me baby inspired this idea. It was just an idea for at least a year and a half... Then I saw a Dorkly bits video about sonic fan characters. I looked into how... original...these characters are and became interested in learning more about them. So I ended up searching sonic fan character on youtube nearly everyday and I saw a new video of someone saying (yelling?) SA2 is overrated, and of course I wanted to see other people's reaction to this. I found a channel commenting on his videos, and after watching those I saw their fanime commentaries... and then more fanime commentaries. Then I ran out of commentaries to watch. Then I start searching fanime nearly everyday and found fanime update. Watching this series just made me way too eager to share this idea that I've been thinking about for so long... I might want more female VAs...
Basically I'm here thanks to Evan (Not Evan/Dr. giggles/Dobitty Smoglepuss/Applejohn Scattlebus/Albert Tinglehops) with his fanime updates and Missy R. with her new MAMV... and a lot of other factors. I like to create stuff: ideas, drawings, games not so often anymore, animations, stories, and music. I also do voice acting (usually comedic voicing though) I play video games that are mostly not fps (time splitters is an exception) or just not competitively. Too much minecraft. Wayyyy too much ffr and too much time wasted on mmos. Speaking of mmos... talesrunner... too much tr... My/our biggest projects were the "Talesrunner parodies". Also the "GrandChase parodies" blew up, but not as much. Somehow these videos are both still getting comments... I kind of came here to make what I want to instead of just more parodies. I also made a game called "Burnout" back in 2007 and several incomplete comics.
