Hi! I'm squishie. I'm pretty new to fanime but this forum looks fun and I want to make friends! I always thought how cool it would be to make my own anime! I want to make a fanime too but I don't know where to start... I have the computer stuff I need but if I'm going to make a fanime, I want it to be really really good but I keep telling myself that my stories are dumb and not good enough. ;_; Hi squishie! Welcome to CS!  Don't be your own worst enemy, give yourself a shot! As long as you have fun expressing your stories, that's what truly matters. I'm sure along the way you'll have others who enjoy what you share too! I recommend start by scripting. That's the most tedious part in my opinion (I make stories fast and easy mentally but uuughh scripts). While you're writing that, practice some simple animations? Most everyone starts with an eye blink and mouth motions, haha. Which hey, I did and it helped me adjust to my programs. But try things like expression motions, head movements, and eventually body movements like waving, walking, etc. Things that are most definitely going to be used a lot! Hope this helps! I go by...Teza. x'D I had a fanime once in the distant past -wistful stare- but I'm reeeally not an animator (unless you want to count the two frame things I've made on Windows Movie Maker, but let's not go down that path right now eheh). I'm actually a musician! Composing, singing, and sfx/general audio is what I do best (admittedly still learning) - I decided to join because I thought I could contribute some free stock music to you all. :3 I also voice act sometimes, and I've been told I'm pretty good at it. I'm a 'starving college student' as well, so if I'm not around all that much it's because I'm doing homework or otherwise. The one project I have, an audio play, is called Eyes of the Blind. I'll be happy to post a preview at some point. Nice to meet you all! |

LOL So I know how that goes LMAO That sounds like a plan though, start small for practice. If you can't complete 3 episodes, then you know that aiming for something much bigger would be too much effort. :3 Unlleeessss it's just a case of your idea doesn't hold your interest, which is why I recommend the writing portion first. If you lose interest during that stage before you've done a lot of advertising, no one has to know and no fans are disappointed that what they were interested in won't ever see light of day. *experience* (hope I'm doing this right ahaha...) Hey. i finally sopped being a big dumb baby and signed up. Im Setabo,most call me seera,although i prefer setabo now  My first fanime was... uhm.. actually i dont remember? It was something mixing pokemon and tokyo mew mew. I also tried to make other stuff,But it didnt go anywhere. Right now im mking a fanime called dimensions. My favorite anime is evangelion because im a goof. i like vidya and my favorite game is earthbound (tied with pokemon crystal) I like punk music cuz im a total rebel who doesnt rewind video tapes before giving them to blockbuster. |

Hey, good luck on your fanime! I watched the opening and it looks like it's going to be a good one. I would apply for a voice acting position but right now I don't have a good mic. I'm looking for a really clear and crisp one, even if it's a little expensive, so I don't have to upgrade later and I can give my friends the best quality audio. So anyway I am Ashley, I'm 18 years old and I have had several fanimes (one of which I really wished someone had stopped me from making cause I regret it so much) but I like to put those behind me now. I am currently heading into my second year of college for Digital Media and Animation. I am currently slowly making a fanime known as Odd 4 and maybe plan for a webcomic in the future. I've been around the fanime community since, like 2007 I think (though I wasn't very popular and I know why cause I sucked ass and my stupid middle school self was pretty dumb and rude, but we all grow up don't we). I enjoy drawing and animating a lot but I have a tough time motivating myself to animate. I don't really know much else to say. My favorite anime is Princess Tutu and I pretty much love all things magical girl. Yeah that might be it. Good to meet you all!
