Let's face, there are some series that were not created without reason or history. I would like a to know what is your series history? I'll start with one of mine, which is Penalty All About. Unlike Carrot Fluffs or Mi-Pie, it's pretty long... ^^; 2011-2012: Back in 2011, I wanted to create some sort of original story but I was unsure, this was back when I drew on a mouse and was still using MS Paint and GIMP. Then I looked upon TvTropes and see there is this medium called Web Novels. This inspired me to make on of my own but I was not too sure of what. Then I looked a my first drawing of Moxanne who original was the "Inverted Eye Girl" and I thought, "Hey, maybe I can write a story about her~!" So i did. I did had a hiatus with it a bit because for one thing, I was not too sure where my story was going. And another thing, there were some personal issues I had to deal with. I think I'll leave it at that. Anyways, I was able to finish the original story in 2012. I was really excited because it was the first ever story in a long time that I ever completed. I did had a fanfiction that I wrote when I was 12 but we're not here to talk about that. I showed to my friends, and those that read it really enjoyed it, even if some parts from it freaked him out. However, this is were I'm starting to get some struggles again. 2013: Around 2013, I was beginning to feel isolated that Fanfictions are getting more attention than original stories. I did my best to get it more noticed, like joining two deviantART groups that are centered around original stories and submitted it there. However, it didn't really help, if I'm honest. I submitted the story onto this website called "Fiction Press" ... again, that did nothing. Then I realized something, while I love the story itself, the writing of it was not too perfect. I over-explain in some areas and under-explain in others. So, during the time of my Homestuck obsession, I decide to make a webcomic of P.A.A., since people always look for visuals. However, while I gotten used to FireAlpeca, I was still drawing with a mouse. Not to mention during the time, I was still getting used to being in a different town because I moved away from my home town. Let's say I was pretty depressed. I created a website for it but I was not feeling motivated. However, there's a time when things were looking up. 2014: I watched this review called Fanime Review. I saw her " Top 5 Tokyo Mew Mew Spin offs" I thought the reviews were entertain and informative to watch. Around that, I watched my friend's Let's Play of this tragic horror game, " Saya no Uta". Where am I going with this? Those two, along with the first visual novel sprite I've made, which is Mokoko's old sprite, is what inspired me to make it as it is today. A visual novel style series. I was unsure, even with Fanime Update, which at the time I recently discover. However, I notice that a week after I discovered it and announced the P.A.A. series, I watched the update that Penalty All About was mentioned. I was really happy because I never thought that anyone outside my friends at the time would mention something related to it. I made it seem like a joke at the time but that really made inspired to keep going, and that is where the history with it ends and the process of it began. So that is my history with my series, what is yours?

Oh, Future Agents has a fairly long history. I actually posted a couple deviations that were kind of like a timeline of its progress. fav.me/d575b31 - Part One fav.me/d575gfk - Part Two 2007 - Basically, it started as one of those comics where you take a bunch of copy paper and fold it in half. It followed four individuals at the Future Agents Academy. Basically, through their training. Vanessa (Today's Amy) and Natalie (Today's Maddie) were the two main girls, entering their first year. Saka and Johnny (IIRC) were two male students who were held back a year because they failed a bunch of their testing. The concept of Future Agents revolved around cleaning up the results of a Nuclear Accident. Nuclear waste was being buried in the deserts around Nevada, when a large earthquake occurred and the waste leaked. It created mutant monsters, people, etc. I believe the story took place 100 years after the initial accident. I quickly canned that idea because I couldn't draw mutant monster creatures. 2007-2009 I kept drawing more characters on paper. Saka and Johnny sadly got scrapped, or I guess you could say I melded their tom-foolery characteristics into one character named Tom. He was a British bloke who was in the Future Agents. There was also Naoko, Amy's mortal enemy of coolness. They were like the two badass chicks who battled things out. This is about the time I heard of the 'fanime' community. I started to get involved. I made the original opening and ending which, by god, were awful. I still have them on my oldest laptop, but they aren't online anymore. They had a couple traced frames there I said it and I'm ashamed.I still have the original scripts for the first version of the series. 24 episodes altogether. The main premise of this series was that Dr. Suzuki was brainwashing all of these people to do horrible things. I don't quite remember the reason why, if there was one. After the first episode, Amy and Maddie stole the gun from Dr. Suzuki that reversed this effect. A lot of the series was more fun anime-esque types of situations. Like, the second episode involved them going to the grocery store for Boss to pick up supplies, then they find the bad guys and have to stop them. Various things that happened in that series that would in no way be spoilers to the current version: Boss adopted two twins that were brainwashed Amy got stabbed in the eye at the end Amy and Maddie got stuck in the taiga after their plane went off course and crashed. They went to the bath-house and Boss got drunk then swam to the lady's side. (LOLOLOL) I actually still have the script for all of these. All 24 episodes. I actually don't think I finished the last episode. Also, Karner DIDN'T even exist at this point! The first scene had been completely finished animation wise. I actually posted it on tumblr but not many people saw it. It was First Scene of Original Future Agents
Someone actually made a fan comic of Future Agents, but they only got about 3-5 pages completed. Late 2009-2010 This period consisted of a lot of experimentation. A. Lot. I decided to redo the opening and ending of the animation. The second versions were much better and I still have them up. A lot of the animations were referenced from actual anime. I wish I had referenced from more than one source of media. With the new change of opening/ending themes, I decided to revise the scripts. I cut the series in half... 12 episodes. I took out a lot of the 'bull crap' episodes. Which meant the series was starting to focus more on the action rather than the character interactions. You'll notice this trend being continued as the Future Agents story develops. Admiral Karner was introduced, but he was a very minor character. He became a major part of the story in the last couple of episodes, but I never got that far in writing. I do not know if I still have the scripts from that... as I got so frustrated at the time and deleted almost EVERYTHING from this period.... >__> I had three minutes animated, but it's all gone. I tried to go back later and save it via methods I found on the internet, but to no avail. 2010-now I left the interwebs to focus on school and nursing my sports injuries. It was the first time I was really, truly depressed. But at the same time, I was thinking about developing Future Agents into a movie, or at least a webcomic. So I did. I wrote the script. Completely different. I took out the concept of brainwashing and replaced it with the concept of corruption. I changed the channel I posted my animations on. A couple people wanted to help, so I thought that putting my own name on it would be wrong. I kind of wish I kept it on my original channel. I've spent the past four-five years developing the scripts, character designs, choosing which characters to put in the movie, making the movie, teaser trailers, actual trailers... etc. Fun Fact: The voice actors for each character have changed at least three times each. (Minus Karner, who came in later, and also Tom and Naoko, who were taken out.) Boss has changed the most... he has been through I believe four different voice actors? 2014- Future I also 'secretly' have been writing scripts for the web comic sequels. Right now, I have seven 'volumes.' I don't know if I can call them that because I don't know how long they actually are. They are fairly rough, but already so much better than the movie script. There may be a couple animations sprinkled here and there of the sequel. I don't know. The web comics happen to be three years after the movie takes place... so that's three years of material I have the potential to write about in between. If I choose to do so, that is. TL;DR: Future Agents has had a hell of a history. Crappy comic - 24 episode series - 12 episode series - movie with sequel webcomic Note these years aren't exact because everything is honestly a big blur....

In 2007, how I got involved in the fanime community I use to do short videos of my drawing including the first Fanime movie I ever done was "An Zorma Day" well despite I remade it few time on 2010/ 2012.
2008, I did flash animation a bit but I wasn't good at it was only a practice - I did my pokemon oc villains robotics name "Super Magana" vs. against Giant Snake, did few others, I also did another movie call Team Rocket K two on Drawing World it been a few remake of it - but it is also a parody / reference to the classic 1950's Warner Bros cartoon - 1953 Daffy Duck in Duck Amuck, that I did the movie I don't remember when probably when I use to be as SupMaximiG or Virginia91x or SupVA something I don't remember, that was the time I was around abit on SupGonzalezVAx.
2009, I believe I did Team Rocket K two (my idol) meeting Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon (I think it was a voice actress name Tamao108) - that voice actress who sound like Sailor Mercury in DiC version that she did for me, was awesome fit to Amy/Ami when I did my fan anime movie. So I did not much so I did videos about my infamous trio "K Bander Two" and such - and my popular Pokémon female oc's name Kaygeta - that where I used Sony Vegas to do AMV videos and stuff.
2011, well I did do few remade of my old movies on 2010 that year until I did my last/ final fanime movie call "Mystery of K Bander Two" - base off my childhood stories in popular - "The Story of Three Bears" - the only thing was hard was to find and asking for help for voice actor/ voice actress on VAA forum and Voice Acting Club forum, some did help and some didn't because they were busy - well I did the voice of the character of "Rocka, Team Rocket K two (the one I did that he met Sailor Moon), few others in additional voice" I guess; that was the time I quit the internet community since late 2011 and retired but I was still around abit on 2012-2013 until 2013 I stop.
Well, on 2014 in the end I made my comeback for this year to stating my return (on 2015) well on late December 2014 since I was waiting the right moment I began to do my new fanime series "Kaygeta & The Hotshot Gals" on paper of drawing and stil i'm working on it which I still need help and it taking some time. I been quiet for the past 3 and 2 years for of my retirement since I came back to the fanime community today, right now on the "FUTURE" i'm trying to improve my art skill/ practicing my draw skill to show proof and to become better at it and being a better person, well today right i'm still doing the fanime series of mine I just did ep.0 of Kaygeta & The Hotshot Gals as a plot/ pilot episode - now I only of my desktop is Paint.net, Paint SAI Tool, FireAplaca, etc and i'm pretty useful at using Vegas.Pro 11.0 (Sony Vegas) which i'm still doing my stuff at today life.
Sorry about my bad English.

The problem with me is I am terrible at coming up with ideas for a story xD I really enjoy animating and character designs but I can't write a story very well. So that's why I usually beg my friends to write me something. My current project "My Life In Hell" is half written by me, my friend and I are creating it together. She helped me a lot with the story, and I'm doing the animation.
As for the story behind it, it was actually a lot of fun. Most of our characters are really exaggerated versions of people we know. We created it because one day we were really bored and decided we wanted to create an original story. We started brainstorming what we wanted to be in it, and what our main characters would be like. Somehow we got a story about kids dying and going to hell xD So we wrote down the whole story, or at least important events and elaborated from there. From there I've just been coming up with new ideas to add to the plot. C: plot twist are really fun :3 I'm super excited to get the animation done!

Since MGS has had such a short lifespan up to this point (I literally came up with the idea of it 1 month before posting the first ep) I'm going to tell of how Jaden Unshaken has come through time~! Late 2007, early 2008- I designed characters collectively inspired by Teen Titans, Marvel (mainly X-men), ATLA, Xiaolin Showdown, and Naruto. At this point, the show was to be called "The Go Girls". The 3 main characters could control earth, water, and fire. I quickly made the rest of the cast throughout the year, making many characters that I still have today. Pretty early in the year, Kira (or, Kim, as she is now called) became my favorite character and I would draw her the most. As for the story, it was really vague. All I knew at the time was the go girls were the good guys and would stop the bad guys (BJ, and Cameron) any time they would try to rob a bank or something. How they looked at this point: Characters in order: Amy, Jade, Emerald, Kira 2009- This was about the time I found fanime. I already had made part of the go girls episode 1, but I didn't want to post it because it wasn't finished, and at this point I was a little ashamed of how they looked. So, the counter this I made Mahou Shugyoku, with characters based off of some go girls characters. the main character was based off of my favorite, Kira. the rest were just some general characters that I figured would look cute as magical people, such as Angel (now named Angie), Jade(now Jaden), Amy, and Jason. I changed all their names (except Kira's) in order to make them fit my more weaboo-like show. I finished an episode part for this, but I never completed the episode. (Also I changed Kira's race to fit the more Japanese setting? ?? I DON'T KNOW WHY I DID THIS) How they looked: 2010-2013 I was slightly getting away from my weebness at this point, meaning I scrapped Mahou Shugyoku and went back to the Go girls. this is when I made my TheGoGirls05 account. it's here that I changed one of my main characters of TGG into a boy(Em) and changed the story once again to more of a slice of life- one where they were waitors and waitresses instead of heroes. this didn't last long (I'd say it lasted to 2011 or late 2010). After this, I took out the waitressing part and made it a plain ole slice of life- without a name cause I couldn't think of one. the main characters were Amy and Em, and the story was basically that Em was in love with Amy and they were neighbors and they went to school and blah blah blah, not interesting. In late 2013 I was really starting to miss super ocs, so, I changed the story back to the original, except, more realistic. How they looked (Em and Amy): 2014- When working on MGS I didn't have much time to develop my Jaden Unshaken characters- and, the story still did not have a name. I cycled through many names such as Super! and Super School(this story was in a school setting but it was basically the same). I changed the perspective of the story a few times because my favorite character kept changing- at one point, it was in Manny's point of view. As of now, it is in Jaden's point of view, and the story basically follows the things that were supposed to happen in the original Go Girls story (except again, more realistic). I've cut out some characters such as Kim and her team (her story became so elaborate that I think it would work better as a spinoff or a completely separate series). I've changed some sexes, sexualities, and some genders, but otherwise they're all the same- for example, it's weird but I sort of always knew Amy did not like boys? idk how to explain it but in the slice of life story Amy never actually had a crush on Em, he was just her best friend to her. How the 3 main characters look now: (now named Emily(still called Em), Amy, and Jaden) So basically, with Jaden Unshaken I just worked myself through a huge circle over the span of 7 years. Why did I do this? The world may never know. It's probably because I'm still obsessed with super heroes.

MBP has had several prior forms. The first 2 were books, but I knew nothing about pacing so they sucked dicks. Both of the prototypes were named "spirited", meaning I've actually become WORSE at naming things over time. The first was about a girl named Erica who was half Cheshire Cat(?) and the next was about some guy who was half beach. And then I was like these have spirits.... WE NEED MORE SPIRITS! and mbp was born. tl:dr jake was named owen once

I was in class in highschool and I was bored so I was like "I'm gonna make a stupid comic making fun of my character named Sandor", so I made a stupid comic during class. Then I found out about fanime and I was like "I'm gonna make this stupid Sandor comic into a fanime" so I did.

Don't make fun of me for this! It's the dumbest reason to make a story ever DX
So, um... I really liked hair that covered one eye on characters. It was super aesthetically pleasing to me, and hell, it still. I don't know why, I just like how it looks. That led me to think one day: "I should make a character with a reason for hair like that. Like... his eye can kill people or something." AND THUS, AKUJI WAS BORN!
But he was an anti-hero. He wasn't meant to be the main character, he was supposed to be an extra driving force against the main characters. The main character was popular jock-type character that didn't get fleshed out in the least. And then suddenly, Akuji became way too likeable the more I worked out his character, and then he... became the main character.
Basically from there I built the rest of the story. The six heroes were made, and the rest is history.
.....so... tldr: I started a story entirely based on a haircut I like. ._.

Kino and Boots started when I drew a really cute hair style and thought is was so cute I needed one of my OCs to wear it. That's how Kino became a thing. She was originally a RP character who was an apprentice alchemist and her outfit was super detailed and totally not based off of Seth from Trinity Blood.
I then tried to make my own four column slice of life manga and recycled Kino for it and made Boots as a sort of this innocent, wide eyes character who knew nothing about the world. She also had frog boots, based off my old user name.
The manga sucked and was short lived.
Fast forward to when I wanted to make my own fanime. I did a total revamp on the characters and setting, to the point that the only thing that stayed the same were the names, ties to alchemy and Kino's hair. Melly was the first character I designed for the Kino and Boots Fanime and I based the entire art style and tone around her.
tldr: I started a story entirely based on a haircut I like

I didn't think a hairstyle was a dumb reason to start a story! Or an unusual one at that. One of my other friends started a webcomic because she was trying to design a hairstyle for herself and ended up making a character out of the drawing. Actually, Lady Unlucky partly had similar origins. My first drawing of Rowena was me trying to design a Halloween costume for myself, and I ended up making her a character for my friend Spyn's story. At the same time he was looking for some extra background on some of my other characters. We both built this story, and I drew it as a webcomic. 20 Galaxies was started in the early 90s as way of dealing with these awful nightmares I used to have. The Lraenu came straight from these dreams. As the years went by and the story expanded, I learned how to fight back against the nightmares. Lraenu still show up in my dreams every now and then but they don't cause me nearly as much trouble as when I was a kid.

So let me tell y'all bout my fanime lyfe.
2009 - 2010
Before I ever made Lemono Star Signs, I was going to make a magical girl series and the girls were going to be based off flowers. The only one I can remember is a green haired braid wearing girl called Devil's Ivy (after the plant.)
That never came to YT, it had no plot and I'd only made like half a transformation.
Then I got inspired enough by Illusions Dreams to make Lemono Star Signs, which was a whole series based around little creatures I made up called Lemono, hence the name. All the characters were based off Star Signs and I was going to name them all after the signs, but it only stuck with the twins characters (named Gemini and Gemina. So original.) Anyways, this got like three episodes I don't know how I did it, to be honest. You can still watch it if you're curious. The story was about a rabbit like creature called Luna who was very deadpan and rather mean now that I think about it. She's suddenly roped into becoming a magical girl along with her friends. Their outfits are if Illusions Dreams and Sailor Moon came together and became one, but I thought it was the bees knees. Somehow. I quit because... actually why did I quit, lol.
2011 was the year of scrapped ideas. I won't go too much into them, but most of them involved magic in some way.
2012
I want to make a fanime so first it was going to be something along the lines of slice of life, magicks fanime and that was going to be about a group of kids and their mishaps. I took this basic idea, when I lost the files for the animation and began making something called Marin. Marin was the same idea, but more edge. I kept losing animations after animations and then I was like "I can't do this!" and closed my channel. I took a break from fanime, feeling like I'd never get back into it... when...
2013
So Space Ranger Rinel was like a sudden idea. One day I made an OC which was Rinel along with Xoxo and was like "Man, what if I make this into a fanime?" That's how fast and quick my decision was. Within days of making Rinel, I opened a YT account. I like to classify the characters in generations, because the whole cast was made in between weeks/months of each other.
At first Space Ranger Rinel was going to be a homage series to Magical Girl fanime, and it still is in many ways but it's slowly become more eventful and the characters have gained depth since their conception and definitely Haruto has become a much much much more important character than he originally was supposed to be, which was an accompaniment to Rinel's character.
It was just supposed to be a fun, cute magical girl fanime but now it's more like character driven and (how Rinel and Haruto react to how things develop and their relationship.)
Rabbit Tear was just like I want to make something that uses the K-ON ost! And then from there it kind of spawned. When I release the first episode I want to show what I had of the old one, since it got a bit revamped. I changed around some of the cast and added new ones and added more to the plot. I like that I have Rabbit Tear since the feel of both series are very different, and it's a more apparent darker magical girl fanime. (But not like edge.)
Project Pasuteru? What's that? Oh I wanted a moe fanime. Nuff said.

Oh... I have a story to tell you all....
With Magical Nyoto Chan, I came up with the idea when making what I thought was a Mary Sue OC off the top of my head, giving her the most stereotypical traits possible. Then I consulted my friend about this (The same friend who watched fanime with me wayyyy back in the day of 2012). She suggested I go through with this fanime, and then I fucked it up by adding drugs and a unicorn into the mix, creating the horribly deformed child that was Nyoto. The show only took me about 2-3 weeks to get 3 episodes out (which were horribly unfunny), but I cancelled the show and came back to it like 1 and half years later and finished episode 4. Then I went to work and developed the "plot" to be what it is today. You'll learn later.
With 2007, I wanted to make a fanime in MS Paint and having it be the most stereotypical 2007 fanime ever. Then dildos happened. Then I scrapped dildos for Jesus. Then I committed blasphemy.
Then with Sugar Sweet Sketching and one other project, I just wanted to make a serious fanime that didn't take too much effort, but would still be enjoyable and nice to watch.
For that other project, I'd have to announce it one day.

I might be semi-breaking my own rules for this but given how Josepeen, Nineko, and Suney were basically my OCs first, I thought tell something how these girls where before they are the characters they are in Roommates. In 2008/2009, I created Josepheen (who are originally my persona, ew.) and Nineko (Who was little less smart than how she is currently.). While Nineko's character was basically the same (she is into her DAMN shipping.), Josepheen was totally different, like an awful rip-off of Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon. In 2011, I created Suney, who while has a bit of an edge to her, was 1000x nicer that her current Roommates counterpart. In 2015, I tried to revive this three as a group for the 2 Hour Challenge, as some magical girl show, and have Josepheen be a lot less like Usagi and more like a sensible leadedr...... only to realize "....Fuck...... I can't do it...", so I scrapped that idea and went with "Evako Had One Job" for the 2 hour. Later on that year, when Evan started the 48 Hour Challenge, my friend FG offered to do the challenge and use these the three and I'm like "Sure, let's do this!". And Roommates has been born! :DD

Perfect thread for me, Into The Stars has a somewhat long history.
In 2014 I created a small comic and passed it around to my friends, from what I could remember Luna was still Luna, Yui was Yuina who could turn into a fox, there were 2 boys and then there was Sakura who had her hair up and had a Yui like hair style. I Still have a few pages of it left somewhere in my room, it was made on lined paper though. Plus in the comic they weren't magical girls. Around that time I discovered MGS and I have no clue it was fanime. I also discovered Ying Yang and fanime openings like Mafia Prince and Chalk Dust! And thus I found fanime!! That same year I made Magical Peeps and Forgotten Memories, I have the openings to them on my computer and I want to upload them sometime in the future to show off some of my first fanimes. They never got uploaded in the first place because both were unfinished. Like Into The Stars, Magical Peeps was another comic I passed on around my school, and apparently my friends loved it... ah the cringe just remembering it!
In 2015 I went back and found Into The Stars and rewrote it many, many, many times until it became a magical girl story!! Later on in Fall I rewrote Forgotten Memories into Not Reality! The main character in Forgotten memories was made into Aihara, the main character of Not Reality. The other main girl in Forgotten Memories became the second main character in my other fanime What You Can't See!
And that's it for the history of everything!
