How do you deal with road blocks that keep you from animating? Do these happen a lot for you, or very rarely?
I've been feeling terrible about working on things lately. Got any advice on how to work through it?

I've been going through sort of a slump as well, to be honest. Every time I think about my main project, I feel like i haven't planned it well enough and fear it might not be as stable as I wanted it to be. The same thing with my art, I feel so mediocre and I'm just not happy with anything. It's a terrible feeling.
I haven't mastered the art of escaping these periods of time, but I can come up with ways that might work!!
1) Theres a possibility that your projects and art are a source of stress for you. Especially if you just do it for a hobby and nothing more, I'd suggest taking a small break and give yourself a breather. I know that finals are coming up for both college kids as well as those still in high school, so maybe stress from other sources like that may make you feel stressed about other things. The goal is to avoid the stress here. Do something else that makes you happy.
2) Step outside of the box and discover more creative outlets for yourself. Whatever you're having trouble with, try something else! Paint your nails, bake, scrapbook, make paper crafts, write fanfictions or short stories, redecorating your room, make music, sing, the list goes on. You might just need some different perspectives to give you what you need to get you back on track!

I have been through this type of thing multiple times. Sometimes even today. So, what I do is.
1. Ask for requests/art-trades from friends to help with the art block.
2. Talk to my friends about this sorta problems. Usually the ones that have creative slump/art block. I'm sure talking to someone who understands will make things go well.
3. Listening to music would also be a good medicine for this sorta thing as well

Constantly working on one large project has always been a source of stress for me, as I feel obligated to only work on it... This causes me to be in creative slumps fairly frequently.I've been trying to stray away from that by introducing smaller projects and doing sketch requests during livestreams.
Sometimes I'll just doodle gesture drawings if I don't feel like being creative. I also find that for me personally, working on paper helps me get out a slump quicker and keeps me more productive.
If none of that works, I just walk away from it for awhile. I don't have any deadlines with my animations (yet), so I do my best to not worry about it and sometimes even forget about it for a day or two.
I like Kori's suggestion of finding another outlet. For me, my outlet is working out. I run and do ab workouts if I don't feel like animating... or I do work for my job! Also, Gissy's suggestion of music is great too! There are times where I find new music I've never heard and it just ignites my creativity.

For me it depends on what's causing the slump.
-A lot of the time I don't get feedback on the work I post and that starts a negative thought cycle: no one is acknowledging my work = it must not be worth their time = I am a bad artist = why even bother? In this case it's just a matter of breaking the cycle.
-Like some have mentioned here, sometimes I just have to walk away. Hiking is my big thing, sometimes I will take on chores that I've been putting off.
-If something outside the work itself is stressing me out enough that I can't focus, one of the things that helps me is drawing a picture for someone else.
