How does the ranking system work on forums?
I've never been one to stay on forums for longer then a couple months, hopefully I can change, but how can I change my status from new member to something else. Is it like Call of Duty where you keep playing, in this sense posting, and then it chooses a title for you? or is it like the Call of Duty perk system where you can choose you title after playing, in this sense posting, x amounts?

You post, you get a new name. You don't get to choose it. Like make 100 posts, get a new status.

Every post you make on the forum (not counting the word games) gets you one post, which you can see under your user icon here in your post. Once you hit 100 posts, you will hit your very first rank upgrade. As it stands right now, you'll go up a rank when you hit 100, 200, 500, 850, 1000 and so on posts. I may go back and add more in between that for more fun though.

If I ever earn 850 posts, will I possess the same numbers of stars as you do?

Nope :O I'm admin, so things are a little different there. You'll get a different colored star though!
