The 48 Hour Animation Challenge! Now Over!

This thread will serve as the info station for the 48 Hour Episode Challenge.

The event will take place from Friday, July 10th at 6PM EST until Sunday, July 12th at 6PM EST.

The challenge its self is simple - create an entire animated episode within 48 hours. While I assume most people involved will be fanime community members, anyone is welcome to join! Teaming up is greatly encouraged, and above all else we expect great art and great fun from this event! Episode scripts and audio elements (including voice acting) can be prepared ahead of time, but all art and animation should be done within the 48 hour window. The same goes for editing.

The episode its self can be any length or level of quality, though it's encouraged to aim for at least ten minutes of content, with quality being the best you can manage in the time frame.

There will be plenty of Skype calls and video streams all the while.

Anyone can participate, but Skype is heavily recommended. If enough people show interest, a group will be created for participants.

If you would like to take part just let me know. You can leave a reply here or contact me through tumblr or even skype. I'll need your preferred alias, current team status, and a list of jobs you'll be filling or otherwise willing to fill.

Any amount of people can form a team, but it's expected that they work together... obviously. You can name your team whatever you want just as long as it's not obscene or offensive. Also keep the workload in mind and make sure you plan carefully!

I should also mention that just because the challenge spans 48 hours doesn't mean you have to be awake the entire time! You're welcome to try if that's your thing, but take care of yourselves!
