Shadow Slayers

((So..... Do I begin the roleplay thing when I add the character? If so, I will edit this post. For now, here's my character.))

Name: Mimisko Lunania
Personality: Mimisko is very anxious yet really caring to her follow friends. She wants what's best for her and her friends. If Mimisko or her friends get hurt by the enemy, her anxiety gets the better of her and will hurt the enemy.
Fighting Abilities: Mimisko is a fire mage. She will shoot fire out of her finger tips and even form a fire bow. She can even create fire shoes, in case she needed to get to the other side of a river filled with magma.
Past (optional): During the peaceful days, Mimisko lived a normal life with happy and sad moments. She was taught by her mother on how to use her powers, which she used to often question before the peaceful days are over. When the world crumbles into a wasteland, Mimisko's mother passed away, which made Mimisko want to avenge her mother and make sure the world will be back to normal. (Thinking Idealistically, of course.)
Physical appearance:
She is quite small as you tell. She's 16 as well.

Mimisko, out of sheer panic, ran into an abandoned church. She has been running to look for someone to fight alongside. She tries to hold her tears and then thought to herself.

"Mama....I'm really sorry. I want to avenge you, I really do but I can't do this...at least not when I'm alone."

For a 30 seconds later, she tries to cool down. After that, she walks forward. And she sees a grey hair man. She may not recognized who he is. Mimisko decides ask him.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you but are you one of the survivors?"

((Any of those examples you listed would be fine with me. You can be any high fantasy race you want in this game.))

Kama was laying on the floor suffering from a hangover from drinking too much rum the previous night. He groaned as he was awoken by Mimisko running into the church and answered her question in an angry tone
"What are you blind? I know I look old but I'm still young enough to be alive. Geez you woke me up so early. Give me a rest will you?" It actually wasn't early at all. It was already the afternoon, but Kama failed to realize how long he slept. As the old man slowly got off the ground he said
"So what's your deal kid? You here to join my guild or do you just wanna make fun of my age? If it's the latter then you've picked the wrong old hag to mess with short stuff, because trust me I know how to put up one hell of a fight."
Kama drew out one of his swords and pointed it towards Mimisko, ready to battle if she didn't choose her next words wisely.

((Saaaaaaaaay I wanted to be a priest/cleric of sorts. Is there any specific religion? Are the people pagan or believe in one God? Am I asking too many questions?))

Name: Daryn Aldithley
Personality: grumpy, determined. Jokes to hide the pain of the apocalypse. Dislikes interacting with those who have too bright a mindset, because she feels thinking of a bright future is meaningless and stupid. (Age 24)
Fighting Abilities: She uses a broadsword and can hold fairly well in a fight. Her weakness is magical attacks. She can run long distance, but not at too quick of a pace.
Past (optional): Before the Fearens' invasion, she was the daughter of a royal guard and a peasant. Her father turned out to be a coward and ran from his duties when Daryn was a child, which she resented ever since. She and her mother had to move from their home to live in a place where no one knew they were Aldithleys, for the name Aldithley had spread through the land as the name of a coward. Daryn, young and naive, vowed to become a brave knight who would cleanse her family's name.
After the invasion, Daryn's new mildly comfortable home was reduced to a hot desert, and Daryn still hadn't achieved her dream. Her mother had died years before the coming of the end, and she herself had worked as a miller. Since the thought of becoming a knight had all but become impossible at this point, Daryn soon knew what she had to do- she had to slay as many Fearens as she could, and while her name might not be cleansed in the eyes of the people she had sought to prove wrong, she knew it was her duty to right her father's wrongs in her own heart. She dusted off her father's armor- or at least what could fit her, and set off.

The rumors of a clan of Shadow Slayers were close to revealing their truthfulness. Daryn trudged along a dirt path, passing half-burried skeletons and those who could not make it to their own destinations, those found their final grounds to be those below them, those who were not nearly as young and strong as she. Not that she felt very strong at the moment- she had a coward's blood running through her veins, and the churchyard is where she intended to begin her journey on purging that cowardice. She had walked a long way already, trickles of blood seeping through the back of her too-large armored boots, the ones her father had left the day he gave in to his weakness. She intended with every fiber in her being to prove herself, if only just to herself, that she was not a coward, that she was not her father, and that she could indeed help save humanity. Not that there was much left to save.

Looking up, she could see the remnants of a cross sitting amidst the dusty air, reflecting the afternoon sun with what little shine it had left. She followed its body and could see what was once a mighty vessel now sitting on its last bricks. It had to be the place. As she came closer, she could make out a figure slowly inching from a window, to a door. It stood in place for a bit, as Daryn soon stood in her own place, hand on the hilt of her father's old sword. For all she knew, she could be walking into a trap of looters. If this was the case, it was certainly the wrong day for them to decide to fool around. There would be blood, and it wouldn't just be coming from her boots.
She slowly but surely tailed the figure in front of her as it stepped into the once-sacred building. Best to keep watch and see what happens.

Rylan of The Ash

Personality:
Very to-him-self, reserved, has trouble opening up to people, and tries to avoid confrontation with others and won't speak his mind if it may upset somebody

Fighting Abilities: He is a magician, who calls on the power of his God, giving him the ability to form energy orbs which administer electric shocks


Past (optional):
He has been a man of the church since he was in his early twenties, and put all his fate into his God. That is, until the disaster from two years ago. Ever since the Fearens appeared, he has begun to question what kind of God would allow these people to suffer so much. So now, he travels through the devastated landscape, trying to find answers for why his people have been plagued like this, and uses his magic and alchemy to help people he encounters, whether it be with sickness or injury.

Physical appearance: 
Rylan slowly walks through the wasteland he used to call his home. He looks from side to side, heart growing heavy knowing that all the bones he sees were once people with lives, families, and friends. He kneels next to a particularly small skeleton, likely that of a small child. He frowns.

"I'm so sorry, my child. May your soul find peace in the afterlife. I pray that you let me borrow your bones, as your sacrifice will allow me to help those in need. Thank you and be at peace."

He then picks up a few of the bone fragments and places them in his pockets, filled to the brim with strange materials. He stands up, and looks towards the horizon, and spots a building.

"Is that...?" 

He squints his eyes, placing his hand above his brow. 

"It is.. The church....finally."

He begins to pick up the pace and continues forward toward the church. As soon as he's within ten feet of the Church he stops in place. He notices an armored figure, slowly sneaking their way into the church.

"Was that one of these so-called 'Shadow Slayers..?' I should keep my distance..."

He slowly continues towards the church, very cautiously.
