Daryn sighed as she continued to warm herself by the fire. She distantly listened to people's conversations, noting the small paper Altheron and the others were discussing. Osseus seemed flustered but overall the scene seemed rather light. Daryn smiled. "Hey, how much you wanna bet that I-" Daryn leaned towards the ice mage intending to cause some sort of mayhem for the group, but realized she didn't actually remember the girl's name. Daryn had talked with many people in the guild and learned their names over the two weeks, but she'd talked with the ice mage so little, and the others had mentioned her so little, that she could only barely remember the gist of it. "Whoa, whoa. Your name is Galaysis right? Wow, you think I'd remember, but leave it to me to forget the name of someone I saved the world with, haha!" She laughed brightly and laughed at her own stupidity, her eyes crinkling closed in her jolly state. (( Emily ))

The time mage carefully studied the boys reaction as he was just moments from having his threat read aloud. And he didn't look angry about it either. Instead Osseus looked rather... Panicked. What?" he inquired, settling down into a kneel beside the time mage as he tried to make sense of what they other meant. "What do you mean "Not a good letter?" He pointed at the note, only slightly perturbed at the elf's reluctance to decipher the smeared text for him. "What does it say, Enoch?" He followed the mage's gaze over to the younger elf and stared the boy down, as well. He didn't know why they were now both doing this to Osseus, but Altheron quickly put two and two together and figured that whatever was on that note, the youth would definitely know something about it. "What does it say?" he repeated, this time toward Osseus. Unlike with the older elf, the look on the shaman's face wasn't one of resentment, scorn, or even curiosity anymore. He was just plain ol' confused. Enoch worried his bottom lip between his teeth as the dummy shaman now hovered closer. While he could read the contents of the letter and be entirely candid with Altheron, what would that accomplish? Surely this situation was no longer relevant to either party by Osseus's fretful reaction. Best to let sleeping dogs lie.Enoch cleared his throat and flapped the paper a couple of times as if to straighten it out. "Well it says um..." His eyes searched the smeared paper as his brain concocted something cursory and stupid. "Roses are red. Violets are blue. Tairaga stinks and so do you." Quickly he called the paper up in his hands, tossing and catching it in his right as he stared over at Osseus. "See? Not a nice letter. But perhaps thats your cue to bathe more," he sighed and chucked the letter towards the fire, widening his eyes as it banked off Daryn's head and landed squarely in the flames. His lip curled into a cheeky grin as he realized just who he'd hit. "And that, Altheron, is karmic retribution at its finest."

Daryn's smile was interrupted as she felt a tap on her head, just to turn a bit and see a paper land into their campfire. She swung her head back to the group who'd thrown it and caught Enoch's stupid grin. "AY! I'M TRYIN' TO HAVE A CONVERSATION HERE!" She shouted at them, though they were close enough she didn't need to. She jumped up in a fake-attack stance, picking up a rock in the process. "YOU WANNA GO, YA TURD?!" She chucked the rock at his face. "YA WANNA GO?!" She shouted again. She sent a look at the ice mage in hopes she'd join in the ruckus, but somehow highly doubted it. She faced the trio once again with an expression that both showed she was ready to pounce but was having a great time.

"Ohhh, that is not a nice letter at all!" he exclaimed, pouting a bit before stretching a grin across his face at the time mage. He didn't hesitate to pull Enoch into a big ol' bear hug once the mystery had been solved.
"Thank you for reading it to me, my friend!!!" Altheron blinked at the crumpled page as it fell into the fire, his smile fading as he tore himself off of Enoch to tend to Daryn.
"Ah! Are you alright?" he inquired, a blatant tone of legitimate worry laced in every word.

"Roses are red. Violets are blue. Tairaga stinks and so do you." Quickly he called the paper up in his hands, tossing and catching it in his right as he stared over at Osseus. "See? Not a nice letter. But perhaps that's your cue to bathe more," Oh thank god. Osseus breathed a sigh of relief as Enoch deliberately misinterpreted the contents of his letter and threw it into the fire, sealing that embarrassing thought process away. At least then no one would think of him as a stupid, paranoid kid. Even if that was the truth. The little boy let out an exaggerated reaction to Enoch's accidental 'attack' on the swordswoman, finding what was happening next to be absolutely hilarious. Then again, he wanted to know about Daryn more: she was always there with his closest friends, yet he never really spoke to her outside of one instance in the castle. Osseus jokingly cracked his knuckles as if to say 'I'll join in on this' as he slumped back in his seat. If he felt the need to get food from his bag, he'd be feverishly be munching away at it watching the spectacle. And also Enoch. The disdain he had when he first met the elven man resurfaced, making the little boy cringe to himself. If he were to live a happy life once more, he would have to tear down all these barriers that stopped him. At least back then, he thought of Enoch as everything he wasn't: smart, adored by everyone, great with magic, and an actually useful member of the guild. Him having similar blood would have made these gut feelings worse, had he not stepped up and matured past these simple grudges. Maybe then he could apologize and get to know Enoch better. not u

Kelemio chuckled at the letter Enoch read.
"Actually, it may not be a nice letter if it was for anyone in this guild but this give me an idea an what to say to anyone that tries to fuck up Ignis again."
Kelemio looks at Osseus.
"Thanks for the idea, dude!"
Kelemio looks at Mimisko
"Hey Mimisko, what's that guy's name??"
"His name is Osseus."

Galystris snapped from her thoughts, as she looked over at the person who had attempted conversation wither her. She felt...relieved. She inspected the person introducing themselves to her and realized it was Daryn. oh, yeah, she was the cute oneGalystris spoke up. "Yes, you're correct, I'm Galystris." She said with a light nod. She thought to herself for a second and then it came to her. "You must be--" she was cut off by the elven mage throwing some paper at Daryn, and her response by throwing some rocks. She made a small ball of ice, and them blew on it until it melted. She used the first spell she ever learned, levitation, to send the water towards Enoch, hopefully to where it would splash him on the nose. It wasnt all that much water though, it'd be about as bad as being shot briefly by a squirt bottle. "You must be Daryn, correct?" She inquired, stifling the childish smile that had been begging to come across her face. (( schribbit, not u))

((I've heard that not everyone can get involved with the role playing games going on now so I thought this idea I had might make people happy. It would eat up too much of my time to start a new rp game, so I think it could be a good idea to go ahead and skip to a period after the character endings happened. It would be about a 20 year time skip which could provide players with much more to do. Since society would be rebuilt there would be plenty of places to visit, you could role play as the kids that your characters have, and your characters could talk about what they've done over the years. Kama wouldn't quite be dead yet but he'd be very old, and I still wouldn't really provide any instructions or story. I think this could liven things up for those who are interested. If you don't mind I'd like you guys to answer in a poll whether or not this idea interests you: www.poll-maker.com/poll597618xBab94bf7-25))
((I just realized that I have to add my role playing text to this post because I'm not allowed to double post lol. Half of the people who voted wanted the time skip while the other half don't seem to care so I guess I might as well make this thing happen. You can establish whatever you want about this setting as usual as long as it doesn't contradict something that someone else hasn't already established.)) It had been 20 years since the Shadow Slayers defeated Sandor. They were known far and wide and Kama felt like gathering the guild (as well as the guild member's family and friends) to meet together again at the Mellowville Festival. There was food, games, lots of performances to see, and plenty of people around who were big fans of the Shadow Slayers. Kama said to meet in front of the archery contest, but it wasn't surprising that Kama was late and hadn't shown up yet. It had been a long time since the Shadow Slayers had all last met, and this reunion provided all of them a great opportunity to see each other once again and reunite.

It's been 20 years since Mimisko was with the Shadow Slayers. Despite some dark memories, Mimisko also has fond memories of being a part of that guild. All the friendship and connections she had made. She had been invited to the Mellowville Festival. It was an invitaion by Kama. Mimisko felt excited. She was able to see her guildmates again. She brought along her adoptive daughter, Gyasko, Kelemio, his wife, Hiyoska(Who is also bearing a child), and her friend Molarcy. The others back at home won't be able to make it. They arrived at the festival. "Well." said Kelemio "This is going to be fun." "Kelemio, you were so lucky that you got to might the Shadow Slayers!" Hiyoska chimed, as she kinda nudged Kelemio playfully "Heheheh, well, we were pretty close to it" Kelemio chuckled. "I'm very excited! This is my first time I will meet some of the guild members~." Molarcy said. "I'm very thankful to Yakoshi that I get this opportunity" "Mama! Mama! Kama said he'll be here! Right?" Gyasko chimed "Can I also see the others you told me about??" Mimisko chuckled as she lightly patted Gyasko head. "I'm sure you'll see them, Gyasko." And with that, Mimisko and everyone else that came with her walked into the festival and have some fun. {Mimisko Family Height Chaty in spoiler}36 Year old Mimisko: 5'5''
38 Year old Molarcy: 5'5''
Gyasko: 3'3''
Kelemio: 5'8''
Hiyoska: 5'7'' {Some designs for older Molarcy and Mimisko, designs for the rest of the family.} (Sketh Ref, sorry. Also, Special thanks to Schribbs for giving me the idea for Adult!Mimisko. I hope you don't mind. ;w;) (Yeah, my refs are horrible. Sorry)

Oxy approached the festival warily, only coming after his wife Nubia had commanded him to. These people apparently had meant a lot to him at one point, but he'd been so young he couldn't remember them at all (he had no idea his memory had been wiped clean after the battle with Sandor). His mother had told him some stories, but she was also quick to avoid the darker topics, which unfortunately left little to discuss. He knew she had made some terrible, idiotic choices in her past, but he had no idea just how badly she had messed up. He had the vague memories of a woman named...Galy? But that was about all he could recall after twenty years. Walking into the festival, he looked around, confused as to where the archery contest was. He then bumped into a strange looking woman who seemed...somewhat familiar. She smiled at him, "Oxy, it's been quite a long time, hasn't it?" She laughed, her voice sounding like wind chimes and bells. He noticed that she was barefoot and her hair glowed an odd shade of gold. "Ah, pardon me. I don't think anyone was quite expecting me to come back. I am Clarissa, I knew your mother once. Did she mention me?"
Oxy shook his head no. He assumed this woman was one of the people his mother had traveled with. "I see," She didn't seem bitter at all about this. In fact, even a little relieved. She looked around nervously. "Is she...did she come with you?""No, mam. She passed away a few years back." "Oh how dreadful," Clarissa said, but the smile was still on her lips. "I'll miss her. We really had quite a lot of fun with each other, back in the day. Well, come along then, let's go meet the others." She grabbed his hand and directed him towards the archery contest. "Your glorious leader is late, I'm not surprised." She said with a giggle. Current Clarissa (same image as the last one): Current Oxy (although the cloths are wrong now):

I....I should be dead right now... Zerah wandered through the festival, eye darting from side to side as looked at everybody around him. Was any of this even real? The last memory the imp had was placing his mask on the pedestal and allowing himself to fade into dust. And yet, only about a month before the Mellowville Festival he awoke in a home he didn't recognize with no sign of civilization for miles. All that was inside, aside from the usual furniture, was a pair of clothing and a note which read:
Goodmorning, Zerah.
We have much to do.
The rest of the month had been a blur. In the bundle of clothing the imp had been given was a small sack of gold coins which he used to buy a home in Lapiz Town, as it was the closest town to the shack he'd mysteriously awoken in. From there it was easy living. He lived amongst the townsfolk in peace, despite his strange appearance. His arms, which still were created from 'God's Blood', didn't deter anyone from speaking with him. In fact, it was quite the opposite. The people of Lapiz Town saw the imp as a hero, telling him of the amazing feats he and the Shadow Slayers had done (albeit with some exaggerations) nearly 20 years ago. 20 years...!?
As soon as Zerah received word from Kama that he wanted to meet at the Mellowville Festival to reunite the Shadow Slayers, he jumped at the idea. Perhaps Kama or any of the other Shadow Slayers would be able to explain this. The imp stumbled around the festival grounds, constantly being stopped, recognized and praised for what he and the other Shadow Slayers had done. The imp played up the part, exclaiming things like "HAH! If Ol' Sandor ever showed his face again, I could take him out with both my hands tied behind my back!!" or "I'm the strongest imp to ever live!!" to which the crowds would cheer and laugh.
To ever live....well isn't that a strange concept... Zerah followed the instructions on the note, leading him to the archery contest and seeing a few members having already gathered. One Zerah immediately recognized which brought a scowl to his face. "Clarissa..." He growled silently to himself. It appeared Mimisko and Oxy had arrived as well, the two having grown up immensely in Zerah's absence, with Mimisko already having a kid!
"SO! It really has been 20 years!" He boomed at the small gathering as he approached the contest, a warm grin on his face. "Well haven't you all grown so much! Well....most of you!" He shot a glance at Clarissa before kneeling down to the child who accompanied Mimisko. "Well greetings, little one! I'm Zerah!"

"Oh! You're Zerah?" Gyasko chimed "Mama told me a lot of things about how you help out with the guild~! My name is Gyasko~! It's nice to meet ya~!"
Mimisko chuckled and smiled "Long time no see, Zerah. It has been a long time since we last saw each other."
Kelmio walked up. He shot a glance at Zerah and Oxy.
"I think I remember seeing you after that battle with Sandor but I never got the chance to properly introduce myself" Kelemio took a bow. "I am Mimisko's brother, Kelemio Lunania."

[ Galystris stood before the entrance of the carnival, but instead of a look of excitement, a look of regret and sadness crossed her face. She thought she wanted to go...she thought this was what she wanted to do...but every part of her was telling her to turn back this instant. She began to shake slightly, thinking back on all the missed opportunities...and how much everything seemed to not matter now. The one thing that mattered was right here next to her. If she hadn't found the little girl alone in the forest on her way home from the campfire that night, she may very well have opened her veins and let herself die. Everyone had a purpose in this world, and in her opinion, when that purpose is fulfilled, there is no reason to continue on. But she had a reason to continue and protect her city. If was for her. "Mom...?" Galystris had been staring off into space with fear in her eyes. "You have the thousand yard stare...are you ok?" Galystris looked back down at Imari, and gave her the warm smile she always gave the girl when she felt this way. "I'm fine, don't worry." She said kindly. Galystris decided to change the subject. "Imari, I think I see some of them from there." Imari looked out, and her eyes brightened. "Mom, is that mimisko?" She inquired with a big grin. Galystris nodded. "Yes, I think she is." Imari was filled with childish joy. "...and is that Zerah?" Galystris grimaced "Yes...that is...." Imari's eyes moved from person to person with wonder. "Come on mom, lets go! I'm sure they missed you!" It took everything in her power not to correct the her daughter, and tell her 'no, these people probably don't even want me here.' Imari dragged Galystris forward by her hand, and let her go when she came to the crowd of ex-shadow slayers. Would they accept her like this? Would they want to associate with she dabbled illegal magic? She looked like a monster, similar to something they would've fought i the battlefield many years ago. "Uhm..." Her voice was shaky, much more than she intended to be. "I-I know you all probably don't remember me but..." Galystris looked off to the side regretfully. "It's me, Galystris Dawnfury, and this is my daughter, Imari."

Bentis Julen Bentis Julen age 25, grew up after the world was saved (obviously) and views the shadow slayers as celebrities, really wants to meet them. He looks super serious but uh... that's because I drew him like 2 months ago. Bentis was all jittery from the thought of finally meeting his childhood heroes. He'd grown up knowing his early years had been hard. He had flashing memories of when his parents fled their village to escape the fearen. After the Shadow Slayers saved humanity, he grew up forever grateful to them. He had never met any of them before, but he knew all of them by name and description- perhaps from obsessing over them, perhaps not. The important thing was he was about to see them in person, for they were attending a festival in his town. Word had got around about it, and Bentis was not about to pass an opportunity to meet the famous Shadow Slayers. He kept an eye out for those he'd have the easiest time spotting- such as Mimisko Lunania. Her long pink hair should not be difficult to find in a crowd. Instead of spotting her first however, he saw who he knew to be Zerah, from his giant hair and arms. He was currently knealed and speaking to a child, and when Bentis looked up from his spot he saw Mimisko was there as well. In his mind he was screaming, but on the outside he was completely composed. Aside from the trembles of excitement, that is. As Bentis approached the group of people he recognized, he slowly got more and more hesitant to go up to them. That's when he noticed Clarissa the snatcher witch was in the meeting as well, along with some guy he didn't recognize by sight. He stared at the group before him in awe and excitement, but couldn't find the courage to go up and say something. He decided to try to play it cool and pretend he was waiting for someone to meet him, putting his hands on his hips as casually as possible and turning his body in such a way that the group was still within his peripheral vision. He then waited to gather his courage for later.

"I think I remember seeing you after that battle with Sandor but I never got the chance to properly introduce myself" Kelemio took a bow. "I am Mimisko's brother, Kelemio Lunania." "Well aren't you polite! I wouldn't say I helped the group out. It was your mom after all that single-handedly defeated Sandor!" He winked and patted Gyasko on the head as he stood up from the ground to face Mimisko. "Yeah, it has been a long time! To be honest, I wasn't really expecting to see any of you after we disbanded!" Well, to be fair I didn't expect to see ANYONE. He grinned at Kelemio as the man bowed before him, to which Zerah waved his hand dismissively. "No need to bow kid, a handshake would've worked fine! I don't really remember all too many people after we defeated Sandor. I must've.....clonked out.." Zerah's ears perked up as their old 'teammate's' voice hit their ears. He turned to face Galystris, nearly jumping backward as he saw how different she appeared to be, but tried his best not to make it obvious. He had no room to talk, after all. He looked back and forth between the two and grinned at them. "Oh, I remember you, Galystris." He chuckled, trying to hide the grimace in his voice as the memory of their shouting fest along with her quite literally stabbing him in the back passing through his mind. "Quite surprised, though, I have to say. I never saw you as the mothering type. But hey, I'm willing to let bygones be bygones!" He shrugged He trotted up to Imari and grinned at her. "I'm Zerah! I'm sure your mother has had only nice things to say, yes?" He mused sarcastically. "Not that I blame her if she didn't! I wasn't the nicest guy." He grinned as he looked around at the group once more. It's really been 20 years.... How...? Zerah tried to remain as calm as possible despite the fact he was beginning to have an existential crisis.
