Freyja was a bit surprised at the man's reluctance to fight. He did know that heading into The Outskirts could require combat....right? This thought was quickly pushed out of her mind as she noticed the two irritating girls began to fight. "Well...I hadn't said 'go' yet, but I guess their bitchy attitudes were enough to start a fight with one another." Freyja mumbled under her breath. "ALRIGHT! YOU KNOW THE DRILL. FIGHT!!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs.
She watched the fight between Spica and Alanis unfold, not particularly impressed by either of then. "Spica, Alanis! You two are really gonna need to step up your game if you want to survive The Outskirts! Go all out on eachother! Unless your holding back, in which case you two should head home now!" She scoffed as she turned her attention back to Murm. "So, what exactly DO you do, if you aren't the 'fighting' type?"

"ALRIGHT! YOU KNOW THE DRILL. FIGHT!!!" As soon as the word 'fight' left Freyja's lips, Kyanalurin charged straight for her opponent, fist ready. She didn't yell that she was going to win, or wish robin good luck; none of the warnings that were expected. That would decrease from her chances at winning. She placed a hand on her gauntlet, and sent power from her lodestone to charge it with the power to shock somebody upon impact. As soon as robin was in range, she went to punch them in the nose. Looks like the fight was far from over. Spica swatted off her jesting, readjusting her hat. 'Dear leader, what is the matter? Has all the new faces boggled your mind to make you think I'm royalty? I would recommed to rest your head, alas it is not yet night.' She took a look at Vera, appearing to be of human and dragon. Or whatever she was. She looked more presentable appearance wise, though still far from her standards. A fine robe would be a good start. 'I've picked up your name to be Vera, so no need in telling me yourself. Hopefully you're aware of mine.' Her attention seemed to be diverted to a million places at once, making for a very confusing situation. At least, that confusion was halted for a second with a little girl asking about her own name. She stared down at the little girl and muttered one word to respond to her statement. "No." Before she could get the brunt of the little girl's attitude, the bellowing woman signaled the group to head to the train station to spar. At least then, she could show off that she had some capabilities other than these morons she seemed to be colliding with. Holding her wing up to her face, she finally mustered up the courage to smile and shout to her opponent, "Hey Vera! Show me whatcha got!" Rory then glanced over at Freyja, awaiting her signal restlessly."Ok." She shrugged her shoulders after hearing Freyja's command. She readied herself in a offensive stance before speeding into the other girl, aiming to get a pseudo uppercut straight on her face. There was one goal here: win.

So, it's training and it's Ilia vs. Monaiya, huh? If this Ilia is stronger then Monaiya, the latter is toast. Still, this is only training and she will not give up.
Monaiya followed the voice that Ilia is at and she is like some sort of spider-like legs.
Well crap.
Monaiya ain't giving up though.
"So, you must be Ilia, am I correct?"
Monaiya smiled
"My name is Monaiya. I heard it's you and I. Training~!"
Monaiya chuckled
"So Let me know when you are ready to train? I thought be unfair to train if your not ready. I'm not my previous teachers before this time."
Monaiya chuckled more.
"Besides, I will only make my lodestone shine bright like a diamond when it's the right time!"

'Holding back?' Spica gritted her teeth. It was baffling to see think that they couldn't see her prowess. If that was the case then she would make it loud and clear. And give them a real taste of what a witch can do. 'I haven't even started, grandma.' She turned to Alanis, 'How about you get a new wardrobe entirely! And you'll have a hard time dodging this!' It began with one small crystal that rose from the ground. Then it rose higher and higher, growing and twisting as it soared into the sky. Slowly you can see a body from the mass, the head being the last to form. Its eyes opened and the newly made lifeform reached its hand for Spica to grab onto. She cackled loudly, wishing for all eyes to be on her creation. ' {Draft} 'See this! This is what years of honing lodestones can do! I can make it grow even taller if I wished, although there's not use wasting any more energy on you.' The titan opened its empty hand and from it shot a blizzard of crystals. Once it finished its initial attack, the titan rushed in to pummel Alanis with a spiked fist. From on top Spica spun her wand around, now primarily using the glass lodestone. She encased Alanis and herself all in a barrier; leaving for little escape.

"Ok." She shrugged her shoulders after hearing Freyja's command. She readied herself in a offensive stance before speeding into the other girl, aiming to get a pseudo uppercut straight on her face. There was one goal here: win. Rory took a deep breath as Freyja gave the signal, focusing on Vera and trying to wave away any of the residual nervousness that lingered. Opening her mouth to trade a 'good luck' with her opponent, she quickly closed it as she realized the match had already started. The dragon woman came charging at her on the offensive and Rory immediately angled her body to the side, bringing one of the hulking metal arms protectively in front of her chest and face, the force of the uppercut mostly stopped but sending her back a step. The other arm reared back, throwing a punch at the draconid as soon as she came within range. Freyja shouted something about not holding back to a couple of the others, but the harpy was still hesitant to bring out her weapons until it was absolutely necessary.

Pumilus blinked a few times into nothingness, though his expression never changed. He'd have to fight the innocent glimmer. Of course, in order to be a glimmer he knew that at a time, his soul was not so innocent. However, it was a turn of events he was not particularly fond of. Nevertheless he would have to deal with it if he wanted to continue on the journey. In the field, he approached Sparrow and bowed. "I am sorry I have to fight you." He said, though his voice gave no hints of being upset. "But we must." He stood straight once again and backed away a few paces. He waited a moment for the glimmer to attack first. He didn't particularly want to fight offensively, at least not until he had to. Sparrow looked around, confused. The other recruits had already started their fights, but... he didn't understand why. They were friends now, they shouldn't be attacking one and other, they should be protecting one and other. Shuffling his feet together, the Glimmer brought his hands down, almost to the ground and then raised them up. A wall of glass was formed between him and Pumilus who he looked at with saddened eyes from the other side. "Did I... do good?"

This wasn't going to be easy no matter what he did. "You have done nothing wrong. The leader wants to see what we can do. If you hurry and show her, then you will be doing good." He said after looking back up and through the wall. He could tell the glimmer did not want to fight him. That was something he understood and appreciated, but if they did not do something, the leader could probably throw them out. That was something he would not appreciate. He needed to continue the quest desperately. "I ask you to attack me. Please." He said, as calmly as he'd spoken before. He could not continue the quest if he did not fight, he knew that much.

Robin watched as Kyana placed one hand on her gauntlet before beginning to course with energy. With no time wasted, she charged at them, her gauntlet coursing with energy right towards their face.
No.
Instantly Robin drew back as swiftly as they could, even drawing their guns to shoot a deterrence at their feet so they could create some distance. A punch like that could lead to them taking off their mask, or even it getting initially thrown off in the first place. She wasn't trying to coincidentally knock it off, was she? Either way Robin wasn't having it, and now their mood had been somewhat soured at the possibility that Kyana might have purposely chosen their face for a reason. "That isn't sparring. A blow like that could kill someone," they stated, a little bit grumpy about her first choice of an attack.
Supposedly, they could charge a paralyzing shot at the girl, though would that be over too quickly? They weren't sure just how Freyja wanted them to spar, but they would hope mortal wounds wouldn't be included. Oh well, they'd just have to test the waters. They had already lowered their voltage so that it wouldn't put their partner into too much pain. With their guns drawn from their previous retreat, they kept on their feet, running along the plain as they fired a few more distracting shots as they placed their dormant weapon to charge. However, upon shooting the last deterrence shot, Robin swiftly drew the other weapon once more, and fired a minor shock towards Kyana's leg.

The step back was 'a step in the right direction', if one will, but robotics like hers would be a tough deal to work with. That fact was only exemplified when the punch managed to connect, causing a good deal of pain in her side. An idea popped into Vera's head in order to at least try and disable them to an extent, something that involved her lodestone. She readied her stance and jumped up about 25-ish feet the air, looking for a good opportunity to swoop down and attack if she were to remain ground-bound. Either that, or she was prepared to strike her down with her legs if she attempted to fly up to her level. She angled her head upward to look down upon Rory as a sign of superiority, and spoke. "No mercy."

The Glimmer's face turned sour. He looked over at Freyja, still unsure what she wanted of him or exactly why she asked the recruits to fight. Pumilus had asked him to attack, but that went against everything he knew. Surely there was another way... Sparrow drew his hands down once more, except this time when he pulled them up his body rose along with them. Under Sparrow's feet a five foot tall glass cube formed. He took half a step back, the cube beginning to tumble back along with his pace. Sparrow stumble forward again, steadying himself on the cube before it tumbled all the way onto it's other side. His arms then rose, eyes locked on Pumilus as he took a pace forward. The cube turned all the way onto it's other side, moving the Glimmer forward and shattering the barrier he had made previously.

I should be more aware of where I'm hitting, I tend to get invested in fighting." Yeah, it wouldnt be all that smart to kill someone on the first day, although that wasn't her intention. She did her best to avoid the shocks that Robin sent, but the final one at her foot hit. "Why you...." she grit her teeth. "Good job! You have great aim!" Kyanalurin kneeled down on the ground, and slammed her palms onto it, sending an electrical charge through the ground hopefully to where Robin was.

Luckily, one of their shots landed on the girl- now if they could just land a couple more...
However, Kyana retaliated by thrusting her gauntlet into the plain, sending an electrical charge that coursed through the dirt and to their location. It was one of the possible worst scenarios that Robin hoped she wouldn't use at her disposal. If they had only gotten out of range just a tad bit further, they could've charged their guns in order to blast off the ground. Even if, that would take even more charging time...
Shit! In almost an instant, Robin came tumbling down onto the dirt. Their legs twitched and stung horribly, and now getting up in time before she managed to catch up would be almost impossible. Out of all the things, my damned legs! Their spirits from earlier took a downward spiral completely, and they found themselves seething that this just had to happen. Of course.
Their voltage had been turned up, and now they sought to paralyze Kyana within a shot, be it with any one of the guns. They just needed to get back on their feet. Perhaps if she charged once more with her gauntlet, she'd land herself in a trap. When the idea struck, Robin wasted no time as they attempted to scramble to their feet, but it was irregularly slow just as it been earlier. They shot wildy at Kyana, in strange weaves and patterns, but saved one shot for when she got up close, in which they would attempt to paralyze her, or at least the arm gauntlet rested on.

Rey chuckled to herself the entire ride there. To think, just a few minutes ago she was ripping the roads beneath her to get to where she needed to be because she couldn’t afford a train ticket. Pfft, she thought as she gave a quick once over to the people who’d be taking her to her reward. Maybe being part of this thing wasn’t all too bad. There were definitely its setbacks- she could’ve sworn she heard another tramp running her mouth earlier, but for the most part, it had its perks. Plus, Freyja’s booming voice was definitely loud enough to drive it out of her mind, so there were no worries on her end. She leaned back and looked out the window the entire way there, avoiding any eye contact with anyone else. Once they got to the sparring field, Rey stood with a look of pure confidence on her face. She was completely ready to spar. It was now time to show everyone what 17 years of hustling can do to a person’s physical strength. Even if she wasn’t all that great at magicking, she could still ram some heads into the ground. After Freyja paired them off, Rey was shaken a little at the name she was assigned. Uldrix? Sounded like the name of some generic-ass brand dish detergent. She scanned the area for its possible owner when her eyes landed on a freaky-looking animal thing standing bi-pedal and scraping at its face, looking around for somebody. Just…. just whut da hell is that….. she thought to herself, taking a few shaky steps back, her eyes still glued on the thing. It was at that moment that Rey started believing in gods again. Rey silently prayed in the back of her throat, hoping that whatever it was, it wasn’t whoever this… this Uldrix was supposed to be. Fuck. That crazy thing was her sparring partner, and it was calling out to her. Rey almost jumped at the sound of Freyja's command to begin fighting, but her pride got the better of her. Digging her heels into the ground, the girl glared at the lizard-beast, her teeth bared. She pounded on her chest once as she screamed in response to its question. "YEA, DAS' ME!" She turned on her inhibitor and let it charge up a bit as she waited for a reply. Even though she was scared shitless, she wasn't gonna punk out. Even if it killed her. That dumbass.

Uldrix narrowed his eyes when the woman from earlier appeared, her words coming out in patches of light red and dark yellow. He didn't even need the go ahead from Freyja to already be on all fours, sprinting towards the woman and gaining speed until he was almost a blur, one thought racing through his mind: K i l l. I t. He stopped inches before the woman, his face in front of hers and staring at her circulatory system that led up into her brain. His tongue flicked out of his mouth and lightly against her cheek, creating a splotch of orange. P r e y."B a c k d o w n." He said in a voice that seemed different from previous interactions. He was unmoving, a statue in front of the woman. If Rey closed her eyes she wouldn't even realize he was still in front of her.
