Alraada looked over at Aberdeen, taking a moment to register who they were. Her glasses were completely shattered, and on the table next to her, and next to her bed lay a wheelchair that she was assigned for the next two weeks. The shattered glass from her lenses along with the impact of the stone had given her a nasty scar across her face. (( gyazo.com/010d4005e2d2f39a2537c83225cacee4 )) The fountain attack had resulted in a broken arm, a mild concussion, a broken left leg and a dislocated right knee. She was completely high off of pain medicine though. As soon as Aberdeen began to speak, she smiled differently than she had before. "Yeah, I'm glad I'm alive too!" She chirped with a raspy and hoarse voice. She had screamed and cried earlier until her throat gave out. Alraada did not take surgery well. "And you don't have to keep anybody out. I'm just glad someone would want to visit me...." She spoke once again. With her free hand, she gave a shaky thumbs up to Aberdeen. "I'm glad you came to visit me too, Aberdeen." She rasped, giving another kind smile. (( gyazo.com/3001998e920b7d53443e8f2c95b2b324 )) She turned to Cyrus and waved at him. "I'm feeling a bit better....I mean, I'm not suffocating, so, I'm better." She spoke. Her tone of voice gave away that she was 'under the influence' of the hospital's pseudo-opiates. "And yeah, I'll try! I really hate hospitals and surgery and all that." She spoke, absentmindedly holding her hand to her chest, to cover a scar. This one wasn't new. "Thank you for coming in here, Miley. Give helped me out a lot for these past couple weeks. It really means a lot." She spoke again. (( not u and MonkeyandMooseInc))

She spoke once again. With her free hand, she gave a shaky thumbs up to Aberdeen. "I'm glad you came to visit me too, Aberdeen." She rasped, giving another kind smile. The fighter waved at Cyrus as he entered the room, and turned back to Alraada. They gave her a thumbs up as well, trying to put on the cheeriest voice possible despite being terrified of what was to come between her, Vale and the rest of the experiment members for that matter. After a fight like that? A fight that made the first day look like a fucking slumber party? "Of course I showed up for you!" They said, cheerily. "What are friends for, right?"
Amil nodded as Nace grabbed onto him, the man giving his partner a weak smile. "G-good. Glad to hear it." He sputtered out as he trudged into the elevator. "Yeah, I don't think I could do anything else if I wanted to, tonight. heheh.." He chuckled as the doors closed and the elevator began making its ascent to their floor. His smile faded during the ride, and once the doors open, he spoke up again. "Uh, Nace...." "Maybe a little quicker on the draw with that ring next time, okay babe?" He said in a somewhat betrayed tone. It was made ever clearer from today's fight that Nace still wasn't over Vale, and that he would be less than reliable should Vale and Amil ever get into a fight again. And he was sure they would. He grazed his hand along the hallway wall as he finally made his way back to their designated bedroom. He unlocked the door and slowly began stripping himself of the costume, the latex sticking to the man's sweaty body. Upon removing the clothing, he walked into the bathroom. "Uh, I'm gonna go ahead and take a shower... You can join me if you want.." He said, softly as he stepped onto the cold tile of the bathroom floor and turned the shower on.

Alti stayed at the shattered remains of the hall's entrance, heels planted firmly onto the ground even with the panicked congoers rushing past in order to regain the safety and piece of mind the battle outside oh-so elegantly took away from them. Tch. He opted to stay out of this mess for once, having already beginning to exercise the new skill he acquired from spending his days with the non-violent, almost downright pacifistic partner. He knew any form of intervention from him would only escalate further, and even though it freaking killed him to not be the center of attention like he was always so accustomed to being, he figured it was for the best. With a bitter expression, Alti looked away from the battered girl, the usually-amazing rush of endorphins he got out of watching the suffering feeling a tad... inappropriate at the moment, and out towards the fight. While he didn't particularly care enough about any of the parties involved to get invested, the fight- which was soon broken up by the late scientists- did leave him with some pretty interesting information on one of the contestants, his earlier suspicions now confirmed. When all was said and done, and once the ambulance came, the scantily dressed man finally loosened up, going out of his way to aid the medics in moving the rubble that still rested on Alraada's body before joining his partner in the car leading them to the nearest hospital.
----------
Alti found it harder and harder to train himself to see Alraada's injuries as being anything but marvelous as he inched closer behind his soulmate. Luckily, the bitter feelings between him and the headless fighter who also came to see her still lingered in the back of his mind, keeping the small inklings of a fascinated smile to a light grimace, which at this time couldn't be any more appropriate, strange enough. He cleared his throat. "Well, that's good.." he replied, not really knowing what to say to a person in her condition without coming across as a sadistic ass.
Even though he clearly was one.

"Maybe a little quicker on the draw with that ring next time, okay babe?" He said in a somewhat betrayed tone. Nace could feel his face grow hot at his partner's tone. He covered the ring with his other hand, almost in shame. "Um, yeah. Of course man. I'll be on that shit." He tried to sound like his normally cocky self but his words came off flat and dead. The moved into the hallway and then back to their room. Nace stripped as well with his partner, with no intentions of doing anything really since they were both exhausted from whatever...THAT was. He seemed a bit surprised that Amil offered for him to come in. But he took the offer. They need to talk. He walked under the water, soaking his hair before leaning against the wall. "Hey, uh. I know that was bad back there. I know I fucked you over." His voice was almost a whisper. This apology thing was surely a rarity for him. "This whole thing is a mess." He sighed and pinched his brow between two fingers. "It was all dumb fucking luck. He's here. I'm here. Stupid." He rubbed the sides of his cheeks with his thumb and forefinger before looking back over at Amil. "We found him because of this experiment. I had to dig the letter I was sent out of the trash. And here we are. All dumb fucking chance, coincidence, fate, who the fuck cares anymore." He slapped his hand against the wall in exasperation. "But I chose you, okay? And if it came down to it, I'd chose you again in a heartbeat. I thought I was ready for that. I SHOULD be ready. Maybe I was more ready years ago and this decade made me soft..." He rolled over so his back was completely again the shower wall now. He stared up at the ceiling as water dripped down his face. "I don't...want to kill Vale." He spoke the words almost too loud. They echoed around the space as the first heartfelt truth he'd spoken. "...But I have to." He closed his eyes. "It's what I came here to do. And if I leave before that happens, it'll be me instead. So I have to."
Vale made his way into the hospital, a place he'd never wanted to go again, but for different reasons than a certain scientist. He visibly tensed as he entered the cold, brightly lit halls, a shiver traveling down his spine all the way down his torso. He had forgotten about it all. Or at least he'd tried to. "Sir!" A worried looking woman at the front desk called to him when she noticed the torn remains of where his left arm had been. The shock seemed to distract her from the fact there was no blood coming from the 'wound'. "Oh my god, I'll call a stretcher right away--." Vale didn't even stop to acknowledge her. He simply went right behind the desk, scooted her a bit to the side as she screamed, and checked the recent patients admitted. He found Alraada's room number and started that way. "S-Sir! You need a doctor!" Vale walked faster in hopes of reaching her room before he could be stopped again. His heart had started pounding again, both from the hospital and from the impending doom at what he would find when he finally got to her. The echo of one of Nace's earlier threats caught up to him, and his breathing hitched at the thought that HE would be the one to have ruined her in the end. He should have left her then. He shouldn't have come here at all. It was a mistake. It was far too early to come back to the real world--. "Oh my God!" The sound of a terrified nurse passing by entered his ears. He was going to just keep walking again, but she held out her clip board to stop him. "Sir, we need to get you the the emergency room." "Move," Vale spoke shortly, not in the mood to try and explain his lack of limbs to a stranger. "I insist, you must be in immense pain--." She place a hand on his shoulder where the arm was missing. Her hair startled to rustle and her eyes narrowed in confusion for a moment before her face suddenly contorted into one of panic. She let go of him, struggling to grab at her throat as her face turned red as a cherry. "S-S-," She couldn't speak at all. It wasn't until her feet moved off the ground that Vale seemed to regain his sanity, letting out a choked breathe as though he'd been holding it with her. She dropped back suddenly as the wrestler backed away in horror. "I didn't--I told you to--," He grabbed at his missing arm, appearing to make contact with something that wasn't there. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, please leave me alone. Please." He turned and started running down the hall, leaving the nurse still gasping for breath. "ALRAADA!" He screamed, looking into different rooms in a panic. "ALRAADA!!!"

So I have to." Amil climbed into the shower with Nace, letting the water rinse the sweat and dirt off of his body. He listened to his partner's apology, the reason he was here, and the whole explanation of his circumstances with his ex, all the while hanging his head towards the floor as his hair covered his face. He remained silent well after Nace finished his apology, trying to process all the information that'd been given to him. "It's okay." He finally spoke up again, although his voice was quiet and hoarse. "I understand. You don't have to explain yourself. I haven't really properly explained myself, so it's okay. I just..." His words were caught in his throat as he tried to force himself to speak his mind. He turned around to face Nace, his hair still covering his face. He stood there silent for a moment more before walking over and wrapping his arms tightly around Nace's waist. "I....I was so scared..." He finally let out, his words sounding more so like sobs. "I wasn't yelling at you cuz I was angry with you. I wasn't yelling because I was upset with you. I wasn't yelling because I thought you still cared about Vale. I didn't care about any of that... I was yelling because I was petrified. I'm not used to fighting, and when you were just standing there, not moving or helping or anything... I was terrified.. I've never been in a fight like that! All the carnage, the dead and wounded, Alraada..." He cried. "I thought fighting was my only way to make it out alive at that point..." Amil rested his head on Nace's shoulder, too embarrassed to look at him now that he was crying like an idiot. "I get it, you have to kill him. And I want to help you, but.... I need to know that you're going to help me too...." He said, taking a deep breath in an attempt to get a hold of himself. "P-please... if you have to do this, then I want to help you....but I need to know that I'm not gonna be the only one fighting next time..."
Aberdeen shot up from their seat as they heard Vale screaming down the hallway, looking for his partner's room. They looked back towards Alti and Cyrus before turning their attention back to the door, their fists clenched. They made their way towards the door, standing in front of it and taking a fighting position. "Alraada, if you don't want him in the room, I'll keep him out." They bluffed, knowing full well that there was little they could do to stop Vale should he try and use his powers on Aberdeen. But there was no way they were letting that man hurt Alraada again. "Just say the word, and I'll make sure he doesn't step foot in here." They swallowed their pride and turned back to face the man they still weren't too keen on talking to. " Alti. Can we agree to put aside our differences for one minute in case Vale comes in here with a less than stellar attitude?" They spoke sternly, hoping that the passing time along with Alraada's current state of being would be enough for the two to work together for the time being. "I may be tough, but fighting against someone with telekinesis won't be easy. Can I rely on you? For Alraada's sake?"

He just kind of stood there, unable to respond to the physical touch of his partner. When Amil finally stopped speaking, he slowly lifted his left hand and put it gently between Amil's shoulder blades, taking another moment before placing his remaining hand on the man's hair. "I'm sorry." The words he'd been avoiding finally came out. And they were genuine. He knew all too well what a grave mistake he'd made today, letting Vale live through that attack. "Fighting sucks ass, and not the good kind of ass sucking." He let out a dry laugh before reaching over towards the faucet and twisting it off. "Enough of that." They stood there for a moment longer until Nace started to feel cold from the evaporating water. He grabbed two towels off the rack and gave one to Amil. "This is going to get pretty tough," He spoke seriously. "But I can do this with you. I've done it a thousand times, what's one more psycho down the drain? But before we go head to head again, some more.. .strategic measures should be in place." He glanced at Amil with a glint in his eye. "This experiment is crawling with supers, and as much as I absolutely DESPISE saying this, it's better if we all have a common enemy. We don't have to like each other. We don't have to be 'friends'. But just by BEING a super, Vale has a connection to those people we can't really understand. They can't just be 'afraid' of him to want him dead. They have to hate his guts too." He smirked despite himself. "If we want Vale out of the picture, no loose ends, and trying to keep my personal feelings out of this shit show, then the only way to do that is to snuff out all the good people see in him. So that he doesn't have a single ally left to fall back on when shit hits the fan again. And we're well on our way there after that little display." The smirk turned to a full-out grin. "It's about time people start seeing that guy for what he really is. Not a misunderstood super. Not some crazy washed up wrestler. No, no. Vale is a villain, and everyone is going to agree with that by the time he's six feet under."

Amil looked up at Nace upon him finally saying the words 'I'm sorry,' the man having to double check to make sure it was Nace that he was hugging. His inappropriate comment reassured Amil of that. Once the water was shut off, and the towels were distributed, Amil listened intently to Nace's game plan, his smile growing wider and wider with each word that left his partner's mouth. Upon the words 'Vale is a villain' a new spark ignited in Amil's eye. For once, it felt like these two were on the same page. He dried himself off and slung the towel around his neck, leaning up against the wall with a devious smirk. "He's already almost killed two people in the span of a week, the last one being his own soulmate in a fit of fury. Not to mention all the people that fountain probably crushed with...A-alraada.." He stuttered, his heart immediately sinking for a moment as he contemplated whether or not she was alright. He quickly shook the thought from his head and turned back to Nace. "I'm willing to bet the idiot is on his way to the hospital as we speak." He chortled. "I can only imagine how everyone else will react. After all, almost everyone was there, save Piami and Galystris. Gonna be a tough one to talk himself out of." He snickered. "So, what's step two? His reputation is already tarnished, but how can we tear it down even further? Make it so NO ONE, not even Alraada, can want to defend him?"

Nace exited the bathroom, going to put on a pair of shorts to sleep in as he spoke. "True, he's on his way there. My presence alone has helped with that, he's a fucking mess if we're near each other for more than a few minutes." He went back to the bathroom and rung out his hair, squeezing the water into the sink. "I did check around before we left. Besides Alraada and a few broken bones from some idiots, no one really got hurt. Looks like the guy still has some self control. So that's part two. Get rid of that." He towel dried his hair one more time before brushing it out. "If he was still at the same level as when I first met him, oooooh boy would there be a body count. But he's honed his skills over the years. I may have helped with that, unfortunately," He made a slashing motion like he was holding an axe, "Since I was the one who cut off his limbs. Seems to have helped him have an outlet for those powers of his. He used to have a surplus of it just ready to lash out, but that's given him some discipline. Breaking that concentration will certainly be dangerous on a day to day basis, but he'll be weaker in battle if he's spending too much time trying to make use of that rag doll of a body. Plus him breaking shit wherever he goes will add to the whole 'loose cannon' vibe he's established for himself all so well. But then we have part three." He looked back at Amil, his eyes softening a bit. "If we really want everyone on our side, Alraada included, then there is one person I don't think we'll be able to persuade, and that's too much of a risk. Especially since she's one of the nicer people here." The soft look in his eyes hardened. "The death of an innocent draws people together. No one can forgive something like that. Not even Alraada. So to make 100% certain we have everyone as an ally, and no loose ends," He slowed his speech down so that he was sure Amil would get it. {Spoiler - Click to View}"Vale has to kill Piami."

Just then, the window of the room Alraada, as well as most of the others, are in. A group of three encentric girls climb from there, seemingly came from a latter. "We are the medical team to keep an eye on Miss Alraada Synomi!" The taller girls spoken up " We came here to gave this girl some medical help." " That's right. You don't have to worry. We'll make sure this girl gets well!" " And speaking of worrying about it." The smaller girls spoken as she sees someone else climbing up the latter. " Looks like ol' grape decides to visit Miss Synomi." That someone climbing the latter is Maicy. It look like she spent some time crying. It might be a little obvious in her face. "H-Hey, is Alraada o-okay??" It's also obvious in her voice, with how wavery it sounded.
It seems that Galystris and Piami are two of the few people back at the hotel. "Well, that was a fun con date~!" Piami chimed before she began to wonder "Though, I wonder if everyone has a good con date as well." Piami is still unaware about what happened.

Amil hung the towel up on the rack and followed the man through their hotel room, listening as he went through the details of his plan to further destroy Vale's reputatuion among the other experimentees. For most of the plan, Amil was on board. Sending Vale into spiral after spiral would be easy enough, given the man had almost as hard a time controlling his emotions as Amil did. He liked the idea, until Nace explained the third part of his plan. Amil's eyes widened in disbelief at what his partner had just said. "Piami!?" He reiterated, seemingly perplexed despite the reasoning behind it being clear as day. "Y-you can't be serious?" He stood their in silence for a moment more before taking a deep breath. He turned away from Nace, leaning up against the wall and mentally kicking himself for what he was about to say. "I think I'd be better suited to make that happen." He said. "With you going off and starting a fight at nearly every turn, this is the only time I've been outwardly aggressive. And given Galystris and Piami were no where near the fight, my reputation with the two can still be salvaged." He looked towards Nace, a serious look on his face. "I can bond with the two, and when the moment is right, and Vale tries to attack me again, it'll be like leading a pig to the slaughter." He chuckled, dryly, a knot forming in his stomach due to the plan's main focus. "If we play our cards right, and Vale will have killed the girl by the end of the month. And in that moment of confusion and disbelief, you and I go in for the kill against Vale. Hell, everyone would see us as heroes! I can hear them already. 'How could he kill that innocent girl!' 'Serves him right, he had it coming!' " Amil snickered again, letting out another sigh in an attempt to calm his nerves. "If we want this plan to go through without a hitch though, I need to make a deal and soon. And with the current situation, I think I might have the perfect candidate." He grinned as he turned to Nace. "We should go to the hospital tomorrow morning."

"We should go to the hospital tomorrow morning." "If you aren't up for it, I get it, but there is a reason Vale is our number one of the hit list right now. And a reason they only sent me." He spoke bitterly. "I've got the best shot here, since the idiot is an emotionally driven wreck. But he's also my responsibility. And the other hunters can't risk a high number drop again. So if I fail here, it's going to be more than just one little girl and my own head on the line," He made sure Amil was making eye contact. "It's going to whatever whole fucking city we're in when shit goes down. My family is not kind to one of ours being taken out. They're willing to do far worse than what you may think I'm capable of. I was the one who fucked us over. So I've gotta fix this mess. Before they fix it for me." He straightened up a bit, eyes softening after hitting his partner with so much hard information at once. "From now on, you ask, I tell. To the best of my abilities. I didn't know who you were when we first met. And maybe I still don't. But at least you know what you're in for now." He sighed and rubbed the back of his head. ""But yeah, I'd prefer everyone here not to come after us with pitch forks and torches after Vale is dead, so this is the best of both worlds in a shitty situation. We can go to the hospital in the morning...or you can. Perhaps I shouldn't quite yet."

He took a deep breath in an attempt to calm his nerves, looking towards the door. He couldn't help but wonder if the two had returned from the date yet, or if they were at the hospital as well. He turned back to Nace an smiled. "I appreciate it. And same goes for me. You ask, I'll tell. Just be sure you want to hear it." He winked at his partner as he walked over to his suit case and pulled out a pair of booty shorts and an extra long shirt. "I want you at the hospital, though. Maybe not IN Alraada's room, but there in case anything goes down again. Like I said, we're a team." He smiled at his soulmate as he got dressed. "And if this deal goes through with Alraada, the rest of the plan will be a cake walk." He looked towards the door again and scratched the back of his head. "Do you think Galystris and Piami are back yet? Without Vale's side of the story, it'd be reeeeeal easy to paint him in a bad light right about now." He chuckled.

"I think that's enough sharing for now," Nace said, cracking his neck as he examined some of the scrapes he'd gathered from his fall earlier. He smiled a bit at the 'we're a team' part. "Well, if you think it won't just add fuel to the fire, I'll go I suppose." He was curious about the details surrounding these 'deals' Amil continued to mention, but like he'd just said, that was enough sharing. Unloading more to the pile at this exact point in time seemed like overkill, no matter how much he wanted to know. "I'm not sure. Best thing to do would be to go check their room, I suppose." He yawned a bit. "But let's not stay out too late, 'teammate'. If we're going to the hospital I'd like to go early when everyone's too groggy to want to punch me up the ass."

Alraada waved to the purple blur she identified as maicy. "Thank you for coming. And yeah, I'm fine for now. Don't worry." She said with a smile. She heard Vale's yells and suddenly snapped from her smile. "Vale....?" She whispered to herself. She scared, guilty, and relieved at the sound of his voice. Aberdeen had asked Alti already to protect her. "You guys, you don't have to do that...he can come in." She spoke quietly. She looked around the room and sighed. "Besides, I have to apologize to him. For jumping in the path of the fountain. Remember that it's my fault I'm in here, ok?" She said, smiling weakly. "But...I couldn't ask for better friends. I haven't had anyone want to do something like this for me before, so....thank you." (( MonkeyandMooseInc LadyAurablade ChibiGissy))

For Alraada's sake?" The pleading voice of the lime-colored wrestler boomed through the halls, Alti jumping slightly at both the intensity of the sound as well as the sure promise of this shitstorm picking up again. And just when he thought he was doing such a good job at avoiding trouble! He faced the door, glancing at Aberdeen in disbelief as the other tried to play hero for Alraada's sake. The murky, orange-tinted image of the damaged ferris wheel cart still tapped at the back of his mind, the costumed sadist almost entertained by the headless fighter's sudden bravado, especially after the success of last week's face-off. He would've actually loved to sit back and watch the carnage had Aberdeen not addressed him. His first instinct was to say no and just watch shit go down, but once the last sentence of the proposed compromise fell on his ears, he contemplated the offer a bit. While he still considered himself and Alraada to be almost complete strangers, one quick look at the shaking scientist and the increased amount of pressure applied to his hand told him that keeping the girl alive was more than important. And even though he was still miffed with the bartender, staying in a positive light remained on top of his priorities. Slowly, he let go of his partner's hand, a bit mixed about entering another violent situation with Highlighter #1 right in front of his soulmate, but he proceeded anyway. Gotta keep the kid safe, I guess, he supposed to himself with a light smirk. He crossed his arms as he stepped forward, his eyes focused on the door. He glanced to the side where Alraada was lying as if to gesture to the medical team that just arrived to just get on with protecting the girl and quit wasting time with introductions. "Alright," he mumbled softly with a nod, taking a few steps until he was standing right beside Aberdeen. "Just make sure he doesn't get hurt, too...." he paused, taking a second to look for a save.
"I worked too damn hard to get him looking presentable. I don't need Vale ruining another one of my pieces~" he chuckled. I haven't had anyone want to do something like this for me before, so....thank you." " Shut up, Lettuce, you're high." he blurted with no form of genuine malice present in his voice. "We got this."
