"Whatever. Its over now. So forget it. If it happens again, I'll handle it. Since I seem to be the only person here with a fucking backbone." They snapped as they turned away from the two. "Text me if he tries to start anything again. I'll be there. I'm leaving Galystris, so if you don't wanna get shocked I suggest you follow." Aberdeen checked their phone, taking note of how much battery was left before placing it back in their pocket.
They opened the hotel room door and trudged out, now lost in a mental struggle with themself. It had been so long since something like this happened. It'd been years! They'd thought they had had control over this? That they could repress this so it just....disappeared.. So why was it happening all over again? And with Alti of all people? I mean, sure Alti is bad but surely he hasn't done anything to....his level yet...right? At least, not from what they'd seen. So why did Alti remind them of...him? It was just... gross. This obsession with masochism, the infatuation with the feeling of being belittled and all that came with it? How could anybody like that? They couldn't! They shouldn't! That's what they were told, at least... Uuuuggggggh...
Aberdeen had been lost in this train of thought so long while they walked down the hallway that they'd managed to smack face first into the wall at the end of it. They grumbled at themself for the action, hoping Galystris hadn't gotten up and followed them before that happened.
Zadinya snickered at Nace's comment after he broke away, and watched the 'touching' moment between Vale and Alraada. Ew, gross. Zadinya smacked the Lettuce haired girl's hand lightly, giving her a wry smirk as he wrapped his arms around Vale. "No no no, sweetheart~! Vale is mine today. You can play with Nace for the time being. Don't worry though, I'll be sure to get him back to you in one piece....this time~!" He snickered to himself.
He gave some thought to the animals Nace had wanted to go and see, the idea not striking him as anything too exciting. Not that anything would come off as interesting in this world of such simple creatures. No no, that wouldn't do. He smiled warmly at the bright haired man. "Oooooh well doesn't that sound wonderful! Wouldn't you agree, pumpkin?" He turned to Vale. "Buuuut, I don't think cats are quite my thing... Ooooooooooo, but you know what I do love~? Octopi! And sharks! Any sea life on the creepier side, really. You and I should go to the aquarium, pumpkin! Whattya say?" He raised his eyebrow at Vale. As if he had a choice~!

Galystris cocked an eyebrow at their bold statement, visibly confused at their reasoning. Oh well, no point in dragging this out any further. Communication with idiots was never easy for her. She stepped out as well, giving a halfhearted wave that seemed rude in the delivery of the gesture. "So what now? We stalk them until you get another opportunity to play the hero?" She inquired. She would prefer that to getting wasted Never again. "Or what else? I don't have much of a preference." ------ She moved her hand away and glared at the person who she would like to consider her friend, despite how hopeless it was. "Lay off, you nitwitted cockgoblin." She retorted to the gesture. Alraada sighed to herself at Amil's obvious attempts to get vale away from her, and knowing nace, she would be able to keep track of them. "This is because of the deal, isn't it..." She muttered nearly inaudibly, unaware that it wasn't Amil who was piloting the body. "Good luck, vale, you're gonna need it." She said lightheartedly, giving her soulmate a reassuring smile to indicate her statement wasn't one to be taken too seriously. She looked to nace. "Let's go so we can meet Elenara's arbitrarily vague time limit on this date." She grumbled, looking away from the gaudy Tronald dump ripoff briefly after finishing her statement. The bathroom door opened, Alti trotting back out with a confident step, a repaired suit, and a new objective for him and Maicy to achieve together. While he would've preferred to re-enter the scene with a flourish of the arm and a cocky 'ta-da' from his sneering lips, the slight migraine he experienced from portalling in his sewing kit knocked him back a few pegs on the energy scale, which was rather unfortunate. But once he glanced around the hotel room, he realized that there was no need to make an entrance; half the group already left, leaving him once again to create his own brand of fun with his boring temp partner (and her phone) for the rest of the day. This didn't anger him on its own, Alti loving the thrill of a challenge, but their absence added to the growing dissonance between his mind and body thanks to all those portals now meant he'd have tone down the madness until the dizziness subsided. Lame. Maybe if he ate something.....
"Aww, did your dearest soulmate Aberdeen leave you all alone, Maxine?" he pouted to a forlorn Maicy, sauntering over to her and issuing a few 'reassuring' taps on her back with a wry giggle. "Thaaaaaat's too baaaaaad! You must feel teeeeerible after what happened.... Hey!" he suddenly blurted as he grinned down at her, "You know what makes meeeee feel better on days like this? Cake. Let's go get that now! Your treat~" And with that, he made it over to the door, walking past it in the direction of the elevator because next to his portals, it was the fastest means of moving between floors.

Maicy stood there in silence as Aberdeen and Galystris left the room. There's so much to that's going on in Maicy's mind. What if I'm in the wrong..? What if Galystirs's right? What if.... Aberdeen hates me now with what I said...? What if- "Aww, did your dearest soulmate Aberdeen leave you all alone, Maxine?" he pouted to a forlorn Maicy, sauntering over to her and issuing a few 'reassuring' taps on her back with a wry giggle. Maicy rolled her eyes as Alti made his reappearennce Wait, what? What are you-?That.... doesn't sounds like a bad idea, actually. Maicy shrugged. "I guess I'll have something sweet to keep my mind off of the bullshit I caused." Maicy said, is a bit of a surprisingly causal manner but still not sounding to happy at herself. And so, after going through the elevators, the two got out of the hotel and went to one of the nearest cafes that sells cake. The Lunania Cafe. Both got in, some of the people there had been eying on Maicy, with concern looks due to the wounds on her legs. That caused her to feel a little uncomfortable. Regardless, both her and Alti found there table. A waitress came up to there table and asked. " Hello! Welcome to the Lunania Cafe! Is there anything I can bring for you two?" "Uhm.. Yeah." Maicy looked at the menu "I'll have the Chocolate Strawberry Cake and some orange soda." " Okay!" The waitress turned to Alti. " How about for you, sir?" |

Vale jumped a little as Alraada did what he was too scared to a moment before. He looked down at her hand before slowly putting his other on top of it, her words making it hard for him to look her in the eye. "Guess I'm a little on edge today," He mumbled, "I'll...stay out of trouble. Of course I will." He'd promised this earlier and already broken it, but here he was again saying the same thing. He had little time to say much else when--. Zadinya snickered at Nace's comment after he broke away, and watched the 'touching' moment between Vale and Alraada. Ew, gross. Although he hated to back down on anything with this creature, he knew that for Alraada's safety it would be better for them to stay away. If anything were to happen again...... Nace released her wheelchair from his grip, pretend shock on his face. "Oh! Such an insult!" He sneered. "Come on you fucking princess, scoot your ass this way." He started walking towards where the big cats were located, only stopping for a moment to give Amil a final confused look. Vale raised a hand sadly and waved at his partner. "See you soon..." |

The waitress turned to Alti. " How about for you, sir?" Alti stared at the waitress, his menu lying face-down before him. He didn't think through this idea at all. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck...... he groaned internally. He just thought cake would be great right now, but what kind of cake was he even craving? And what if there existed something better on their long assortment of sweets that tasted better? Or if the cakes were worse than what he was used to, and he chose one? His 'partner' seemed to be able to decide in a matter of seconds, but now it was his turn. Alti snapped out of his indecisive daze after his delay started to reach an uncomfortable length. "Uhhhhh uhh, ummmm....... Oh!" he stammered, suddenly remembering a really good candidate for his order. "I'll have the strawberry shortcake!" The waiter nodded at the two customers before taking their leave, Alti tapping his foot impatiently until the desserts arrived. Once they did, he immediately jammed his fork into it to see what the damage was. It was... OK!, Alti giving a light shrug to his surprising over-average choice. Mmm, not as great as the one I had with Cyrus, but I guess it'll do... he thought, leaning against the table with a bored look on his face as he forked another bite of strawberry and cream into his mouth. Man, wonder what he's up to.... |

After following Cyrus around, it seems that this trip has come to a close. Well, almost. Cyrus had to smashed like a fly first. Though, the smash didn't sound normal. Well, might've been either somebody's toy or something Giaile as set up. Piami's knows how paranoid Giaile is. Anyways, it seems it's time to go. "Okay." Piami respond "You can lead the way." "Obviously," he mused, leading her out one of the side exits to try and dodge Giaile. See how long I can keep that bitch off my ass. He let out another yawn as the usual midday tiredness began to settle in, exacerbated by his salt and boredom. Giving a quick scan of the various storefronts lining the street, he singled out a Starwucks just on the opposite side. "Hey kid, ya said ya wanted smoothies right? Well I got somethin' even better than smoothies," he waved for her to follow, making his way into the WcDonalds of coffee shops. Leading her over to the counter, he pulled out the money he'd saved on that ticket. "I'll take a medium triple latte, no whipped cream, and a...." The scientist stared over at Piami and squinted for a moment. Did she seem more like a java chip, white mocha, or caramel type of kid? Teeth rottingly sickly sweet... Caramel seems right up her alley. "A large caramel frappucino with 2 extra pumps of caramel, and extra caramel drizzle on the sides," he ordered, pressing the cash into the clerk's hands before receiving their drinks. One satisfyingly bitter and caffeinated, the other filling his mouth with cavities on sight. "Drink up kid. Think of it as a 'grown-up' smoothie." |

"NO!!" Aberdeen shouted before quickly covering their mouth. "Uh...n-no. I don't wanna be around them anymore, today. That fucking...mall scene was enough." They averted their gaze as they began walking down the stairs. "If Maicy gets in trouble again, she can either text me or figure it out herself. I don't care anymore." Their tone was laced with regret and disgust for themself.
"I...just need something other than alcohol in my system. Some food or something.." And a cold shower. The fighter stopped at the bottom of the stairway, realizing there wasn't any real way for them to eat outside of the hotel. Fuck. "Uh... maybe just some coffee or something, actually. I.... can't eat right now." They muttered.
Zadinya smirked at Alraada, her snarky attitude and petty insults doing nothing to the demon's chipper mood. He waved a hand dismissively at her while keeping his other arm wrapped around Vale. "The deal? Oh no, I'm completely over it! But the rules for today, from my understanding, is that YOU aren't on a date with him. I am! He's my partner for the day, and I'm veeeeeeeery protective~! So keep your hands off, or I'll keep your hands~!!" He chimed, his overly cheery voice adding a level of uneasiness to the statement.
He grabbed Vale's hand, interlocking their fingers and looked the man dead in the eye. "Come on, daaaaaaarling~! Lets go to the aquarium! I wanna have some fun!" He smirked as he dragged Vale along with him. Once the two were out of Nace and Alraada's hearing range, Zadinya turned back to Vale. "Why do you have to be this way, Mr. Vinaigrette? I only want to enjoy what little time we have together! You're making such an effort to push me away, and all I want to do is get close to you~! Be friends! I'm not as bad as you think I am." He smirked wryly at the man as the two arrived at the entrance of the aquarium.

" Why do you have to be this way, Mr. Vinaigrette? I only want to enjoy what little time we have together! You're making such an effort to push me away, and all I want to do is get close to you~! Be friends! I'm not as bad as you think I am." He smirked wryly at the man as the two arrived at the entrance of the aquarium. " After you, sweetheart~!" "Why do I have to be this way?" Vale practically hissed. "I don't believe you." He entered the aquarium, the dark blue lighting causing a flutter of unease to fill his stomach. It was also relatively empty, being one of the less extravagant exhibits. Vale saw a few employees up on a ladder, tossing some fish into a large tank. One of them waved at the wrestler, a bit of worry clear on their face from his strange get up. "Well hey there, stranger! We're just opening up this section of the zoo, so we're still doing a few things here and there! Just don't mind us. Tours start in another half hour after feeding time!""T-Thanks," Vale said back, a little flustered to have some human interaction outside of his small bubble of people he'd been used to talking to. He turned away from them and kept moving, but was careful of the 20 yards. He slipped behind one of the tanks to examine an octopus, shivering a bit as he remembered his recent....experience. "Mother fucker..." |

Galystris jumped back at Aberdeen's sudden yelling, suspicious of their over the top reaction. She adjusted her posture and gave a sigh. "So insistent. Makes me suspicious." She groaned, pressing a hand to her forehead. Their suggestion of caffeine right after alcohol was probably a bad choice, but it sounded nice. "And yes that would be nice." They both boarded the elevator and landed downstairs, and galystris walked towards the coffee shop with Aberdeen. She sat them down at a table with Aberdeen. Soon a waitress approached them with name tag labeled "shallow river." An odd name to be sure, but it seemed similar to some other name. Galystris ordered an iced coffee, struggling to read it, internally cursing her issues with menus. The waitress looked to Aberdeen, looking to them to order. ---------- Alraada whispered to Vale "calm down, please..." At his threats towards Amil. She sighed to herself, knowing something was bound to happen "....good luck, vale." She spoke worriedly, although she didn't sound angry with vale. Nace's interjection earned a groan on Alraada's part as she sent him a glare. "Yeah, yeah, fuckin whatever, asshole." She responded to Nace's kind words. Aberdeen quickly scanned the menu, not really sure what any of the fancier drinks were having mainly drank coffee straight from the pot when they were bartending. They scratched the back of their head and handed the menu off to the waitress. "Uuuuh, a java chip... frappuccino... please." The woman simply nodded and walked off. Within a few minutes of dead silence, the 'couple's' drinks were brought to them.
Aberdeen quickly downed half of their drink in an instant, not having to worry about brain freeze like any normal human being would. This would balance things out, right? They'd be in the right mind after this, yeah? Aberdeen pushed their drink to the side and held their head in their hands, silently cursing themself and muttering incoherently. "I'm such a fuck up. Shit. This is so bad. Oh my god. I can't believe I did that.."
Zadinya skipped inside alongside Vale, smiling at the fact that no one else seemed to be present save the employees feeding the animals. He pouted at Vale, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind and sighing. "Oooooooooh Vale, why don't you believe me? I have no malice towards you! I barely know you! That's what I wanted this day to be! Just a fun time for the two of us to get to know each other better~!" He chimed in his ear.
He glanced over towards the sea creature his partner had been examining and chuckled. "Oooooh, that's one of my favorites! But I'm sure you already knew that. There are quite a few demons who are fond of the majestic octopus' form. Those beautiful tentacles, ready to tear their prey apart limb from limb. Quite the force of nature, wouldn't you say?" He snickered. He leaned his head on the man's shoulder and pouted at him again.
"Oh Pumpkin, how can we work our problems out if you just try and run off? Talk to me, darling~! Tell me what's bothering you~?" He cooed.

" Oh Pumpkin, how can we work our problems out if you just try and run off? Talk to me, darling~! Tell me what's bothering you~?" He cooed. Vale slipped out from Zadinya's touch, glaring at the man. "Stop fucking touching me," He spat, moving back towards where the employees were. He hoped having other people near by might persuade the other to back off. The woman at the top of the ladder smiled down at him. "You two having a good chat on your date?"Vale seemed furious with the woman's intervention. "IT ISN'T A FUCKING DATE!" He snapped, startling the woman into dropping the entire bucket of food into the tank.
"Gah!" She yelled. Her partner steadied the ladder as she started to reach towards the bucket, thought better of it, and stopped. She crawled back down the ladder and sighed as she watched the bucket start to sink towards the bottom. "Jeeze..." She muttered, before gesturing to her partner to leave. "Go get the net, Alex." Vale moved slowly away from them, watching the fish swim in the tank and hoping Zadinya would finally give up and just let him be. But he doubted it. His fingers brushed against the glass as he wandered. "Sir!" The woman said sharply. "Do not touch the glass, it agitates the animals."Vale rolled his eye and dropped his hand, having to be satisfied with just watching. |

Zadinya grinned wickedly as the man escaped his grasp and ran off, trying his hardest to avoid the demon. Like I'd ever let that happen. Zadinya burst into a fit of laughter as Vale screamed at the woman, causing her to drop the bucket of food into the water. He began walking after his partner, stopping in front of the two workers and smiling sympathetically towards them.
"I'm so sorry he shouted at you like that... He's just a bit... on edge. See... he just came out recently and is having a hard time dealing with the adjustment." He cooed. "I'm just trying to show him its okay. Again, very sorry!" He waved to the two before walking back up to Vale, standing incredibly close to him and leaning his head towards him.
"You know, pumpkin. It isn't nice to just walk away from your partner." He kept the warm tone going. "I know we're having a bit of a rough patch, but if we just talk it out like grown ups, I'm sure we can get back to the fun stuff~!" He cooed in the man's ear before resting his head on Vale's shoulder. "Now lets try this again. What's bothering you? We're on a date, darling. I'd prefer you acted like it! Don't you wanna fix your mistake~?" He giggled.

He cooed in the man's ear before resting his head on Vale's shoulder. " Now lets try this again. What's bothering you? We're on a date, darling. I'd prefer you acted like it! Don't you wanna fix your mistake~?" He giggled. Vale spun around, once more pulling his shoulder out from underneath Zadinya's chin. "My mistake?" He snapped. "You're making a huge fucking mistake right now. I'm not...I can't..." He was fighting with himself on what words to use, but none seemed to articulate what he was trying to say. "You need to stop." He finally said, taking a step back. "Just...stop. Stay the fuck away from me. I'm trying my best here and you're not making this any fucking easier." He closed his eye and looked down, his hands clenching into fists. "You're meddling caused me to hurt the one person in this entire shit show who I'm supposed to be falling in love with. You're ruining everything! Hell, you've already ruined it! You didn't have to pick a fucking fight with me at that con! But no, you had to go along with whatever the hell Nace had worked into Amil's head! They're damn idiots! God you're both just so! Infuriating!" He took another step back bumping into the glass wall. His hand slid back onto its surface for support. Crack. "Sir!"{Spoiler - Click to View} It took Vale a moment to register what that sound had been. He felt a vibration beneath his hand as a great white suddenly slammed against it. He looked up in surprise, cracks snaking out of where his hand had been. Water started to leak out as the shark backed up, disoriented from hitting the glass. "S-Stay calm!" The woman said. "Both of you need to evacuate immediately!"Vale looked between her and Zadinya, his heart beating wildly in his chest. No, no, no! He was not doing this here! He wasn't! It was fine, everything would be okay. It was just a sliver, they could fix it in time--.Bam! The shark slammed into the glass again. What the hell was wrong with the damn thing?! It was going to fall apart, oh god things are falling apart--.
Nace yawned lazily as the two stood in front of an exhibit of lions, who looked equally as thrilled to see him there. "These fuckin' cages are too small," He muttered under his breath. He noted that one of them was chewing absentmindedly on a piece of obviously prepared meat and he made a gagging motion with his hand, "No space, no hunting! Hell there isn't even anything to provide shade! This zoo is a fucking joke." He shook his head angrily. |

Zadinya's eyes widened at the sight of the shark smacking up against the glass, a sinister smile creeping across his face. On one hand, he'd been itching to start a fight with this asshole since the beginning of the date, but on the other hand he could make a deal with him and get to torture him for all eternity. His grin turned into a frown as he mentally flipped a coin in his head, letting it decide what he was to do.
Ultimately, his warm smile spread across his face once more. He was feeling generous today. Zadinya stepped towards the glass, pushing Vale away and chuckling at him. "I'll handle it, sweetheart~! Don't fret." An amalgamate slipped away from the shirt and positioning itself on the fingertip of the demon. Zadinya grinned as he watched the shark beginning to swim back around for another shot at the glass.
The amalgamate wriggled its way through the crack in the glass and immediately began expanding into a small, black 'shark,' much smaller than the one attempting to break the glass. If he'd used more amalgamate ooze, perhaps he could have matched its size, but Zadinya didn't wanna risk throwing away his weapon in case Vale attempted to fight. The small, black shark opened several glowing eyes that locked onto the Great White. It immediately swam towards the toothy beast, ramming the real shark in the face.
The great white recoiled, its fury now focused on the new competitor. The black shark began swimming through the tank, acting as a decoy to allow the employees to somehow fix the glass. Zadinya turned back towards Vale and smirked. "See~? I told you, I just wanna help you out! If you just took the time to relax and get to know me, I'm sure you'd find I'm quite the pleasure to be around~!" He cooed at the man, the water beginning to form a large puddle on the ground. "I'm just trying to enjoy our date, Pumpkin! I want to make this work! You really don't want this to go any further do you?" He raised his eyebrow at the man.
