Bracelets for the soul

Sami wasn't listening to half of what anyone around her was saying, being too caught in her avian related crimefighting. Or lack of it. In the end, she planned to carry out what she said. Even if half the room had to pin her down. What a scary thought.

'Sami doesn't believe you! Sami knows that scientists where long white jackets and have a stepho.. steftho..stephmo..'
'Stepthoscope.' Robb'in said, now just catching up to the scene.
'Robbie! This man is the enemy! His crime: being in the nude! Sami says to leave that to the birds! For that Sami will apprehend you!'

The attack was ready. Globs of magical energy bounced off the walls and around the room, damaging all that it came contact with. She slid past Maicy to get to her foe, before preparing the real attack. She waved her wand and from it...

..a fancy hat landed on his head. Real fancy, Cyrus should be grateful.

'Sami declares this a victory for the birds. Another criminal brought to justice! Please wear clothes at all times, mister not-a-scientist.'

Vale slowly got up from his chair after Cyrus was done streaking. He turned to Alraada and whispered. "I'll be back in a moment." Before going to the farthest corner of the room.

Aberdeen hadn't been paying attention to what was happening until something came in and hit them in the side of the head, nearly knocking them over. When they looked up to see the culprit, Sami seemed to have launched some sort of 'magic attack.' Aberdeen was ready to lose their shit and attack the idiot, but instead, let their anger out on the table. They punched the wood, cracking it even further than it already had been. Then something came in over the intercom
So they WERE spying on us!?!? How much had they seen?? Did they know about me..? They're scientists too! SHIT!! Aberdeen's hands started to tremble once more, which they quickly placed into their pockets as to not raise suspicion of how terribly nervous they'd just become. They couldn't help but fidget, trying with all their might to keep themself from going into a full blown panic attack.

Rowan ducked to the ground as Sami's attack fired off in all different directions. "I CAN'T AFFORD MEDICAL BILLS!!" He exclaimed as he hit the floor whilst the orbs of light bounced around the room. Luckily, the attack was over rather soon, the man giving a sigh of relief that he managed not to get hit.

"Oh shit" both Arshrin and Maicy thought.

With how serious Elenara, that made both realized that, something like stripping naked and running around like a mad man is not the way to go.

Arshrin stretch his hand, kind of fixing it after Maicy stepped on it.

He looks that Simon is there.

"So, uhhh, how are you-"

"Um...hold that thought."

Arshrin walks over to Sami. He had a bit of a nervous smile.

"S-Sami, that's not really how the game works. You cannot just dare someone back, if they are not up for the dare. Like...."

Arshrin tries to think of the right words.

"Like if someone ask you, truth or dare, you pick either of the two. If you pick "truth", that said someone with ask you a question that you have to answer truthfully. If you pick dare, they will dare you to do something rediculous. Like.."

Arshrin took a look a Cyrus, who thankfully has fancy wear. He looked back at Sami.

"Like that guy you gave fancy wear to. I'm sure somebody with a twisted mind dared him to do that. I don't know who but I'm sure somebody did."

Maicy walked over and sat next to Aberdeen.

"Phew! Oh my goodness, that was nerve wrecking."

Maicy notice that Aberdeen is fidgetting a bit, which did worry Maicy.

"Hey, you doing okay?"

Alti quit his whining once he heard Cyrus' explanation of the game. He didn't feel like asking any other question. After all, it seemed pretty self-explanatory. A light chill rushed down his spine as the scientist's whispers reached his ear. The type of game he'd have experience playing? Alti raised an eyebrow, confused at the assumption. There was no way some party game made by a bunch of people was something he'd be particularly good at. Before this little experiment, the most interaction he'd ever had with others like him were in the form of minor "terror attacks" to small, isolated groups of people. Now those were fun. He remembered kind of joy he'd get when he'd skip around a village, laughing through the screams of anguish as his little buddies tore through the area, and how happy he'd get when they'd desert their homes and leave him with the spoils. Ahhhh, yesterday. Alti failed to see how a little kid activity possibly give him any more joy than that, but as he mulled over the idea, he realized he shouldn't sell it so short. The people around him seemed to be on board, and Cyrus even went as far as to say it'd be something he'd like, and he isn't a dumb man soooooo....

Meh, why not? Could be fun, and maybe he did really have something interesting to bring to the table.

Alti continued to look onward, doing the same as his soulmate and watching the others until his window of view found someone staring at him. 


Alti noticed the unease on the blond's face, but apart from the observation didn't really care to understand why. Something about the man, who later introduced himself as "Rin", seemed familiar, though. Alti ran through his thoughts, trying to find some memory of them in his mind, but eventually came back with nothing, except.... maybe he winked at him or something? He couldn't tell, this being obvious from the light shrug he gave. It seemed like something he'd do. The guy was pretty cute. Having learned the mechanics of the game by watching the soulmates play, Alti continued to stare at Rin as he listened to the rather "weak" questions being asked. Maybe if he actually was good at this game, he could drum up something... interesting for the bespectacled blond boy. Despite all this, he couldn't shake this feeling of apprehension that looking at Rin gave him. By then, the other man had long since kept their attention on his gaze, but Alti just couldn't help but stay on the topic. Had something really happened between the two? Why couldn't he remember? A quick shove tore him out of his slump, leaving Alti in a confused state, blinking a few times as he slowly regained his focus. 


Alti sat up immediately after the dare was dealt, staring at Cyrus to see just what the man's limits where. 


Alti quickly tore the shirt that was thrown at him off his face, blushing wildly as he watched the scientist rushing through the halls in the buff. Strangely enough, despite the literal pool of blood he left on the ground just by looking at Cyrus' exposed torso, his face remained relatively dry. Amongst the mixed responses in the room, Alti maintained his composure, this time deciding to represent his desire with a lone smile. Apparently he had his soulmate figured out all wrong. Between the strip tease from before and the accomplished dare now, it was obvious that they didn't seem to have a limit. He was down for anything, and... 

If that were the case, then...




Alti, now sitting upright, continued to watch the rest of the game go on, kicking his feet back and forth in a rhythmic pattern as he put his hands to his sides. Not even the "threat" aiming a weapon(?) at the scientist or the large blast of energy that hit him soon after seemed to break this focus he had.

Oh, Cyrus has a hat now. Cool.

After successfully hitting his head long enough to cause temporary memory loss, Vale returned to the couch, stumbling a bit before returning to his seat next to Alraada. A small bit of blood dribbled from the eye hole in his mask and he wiped it away dismissively. After the headache subsided from bashing his brains into the wall for a good five minutes or more, he tried to concentrate on the current conversation and seamlessly... effortlessly work his way back in...

He stood up on the barely held together table and pointed at Cyrus.

"That is a wonderful accessory! I shall now bestow upon you a nickname as you have so graciously done for me!" He pulled his arm back to his chest, almost vibrating from excitement before doing jazz hands and jumping into the air. "I SHALL CALL YOU--!" He seemed to awkwardly slow down mid-jump as something dawned on him.

"Wait what even was your name..."

His confusion subsided when he realized he was falling back to the ground at an unnaturally slow speed, and to make up for this he crashed down full force into the table, effectively breaking it in half and laying in a pile of wood chunks on the floor.

A hand doing a thumbs-up gesture appeared from the table rubble. "I have broken the table!! 10 points to Vale!" He laughed, still not moving from the floor. He waved his extended arm around casually. "Ah, continue with the game! All is well! I'll ah--clean this up in a moment!"
