Vale heaved in a breath after a few minutes, almost falling unconscious from not getting enough air. He stumbled to his feet, unlocking the door and quickly getting out, slamming it shut behind him. The sound of the beds moving around stopped once he had exited the room. He had both his hands pressed firmly against the door, as though holding back the memory it contained. He hadn't even realized he'd probably been in there for at least five minutes. "That was stupid, why the hell did I go in there. I knew there'd been a fire." He muttered to himself. He seemed to have forgotten he'd left Alraada in the hall, too caught up in his own world. She stepped back,shocked at his quick movements, and huge rush to get into the room. Alraada suspiciously followed him over to the door, and tried to look through the crack in the bottom. She squinted, lifted up her glasses, tried everything to see anything going on in there, but to no avail. the smoke was too think. wait....smoke...coughing became audible, just as she'd feared. He burst out of the room and slammed the door shut just when she was about to attempt to break down the door. "W-What were you doing?!" She attempted to pry him away from the door and guide him to the guest room. "Look...just...you might have died in there, so lay down or something...go to bed....Ok...?"

Vale allowed himself to be led away, but wasn't in much of a mood to explain or try and be chipper. "Yeah, I'll go to bed. Sorry." When they got into the bedroom, he pulled off a pillow and placed it on the floor, despite Alraada saying it was ok for him to sleep in the bed as well. He grabbed his cellphone to charge and set an alarm to wake up in the morning, doing this more out of habit then actual concern for his schedule. He placed the phone near his pillow and laid down next to it, not bothering to change cloths. "I'll see you in the morning. I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." he sounded distant, like he still wasn't quite back from wherever his mind had gone, but he'd used more strength than he was used to in a single day, and it was wearing on him. He was just drifting to sleep when his phone buzzed. He flinched at the sound, picking it up and checking it in case it was his mom or father checking in on the trip. "You can't stay on that plane forever." It was from a number he didn't recognize. He knew if he messaged back, an error would return telling him it was no longer in service. Vale flipped the phone over and shoved it away from him, closing his eyes tight and pretending to be asleep. Despite how exhausted he was, he wouldn't sleep well at all that night.

"I can get the floor, alright? You don't need to sleep there, I'm used to it." she said with a slightly exasperated sigh. She thought to herself for a moment. "Oh yeah, theres the couch....I'll sleep there." she muttered to herself.

I don't sleep much, the couch won't be that much of a difference." He started to move towards the door.

"I can handle anything, bud. Anything that makes fucking sense. Demons aren't supposed to exist. They're supposed to be shit made up by ignorant and simple-minded people to explain away problems with perfectly logical and earthly causes. That lady's sick? Demons! Your crops ain't growing? Demons! That guy's acting outta line? Better pray harder 'cus he's got a case of the Demons!" With each repetition he flourished his arm, finally letting it drop limply to his side again, grumbling. "Nothing makes sense on this fucking plane." Both the laughter and Alti's smile suddenly ceased to exist. He leaned against the wall, his nails scraping lightly at the door behind him in irritation as the man listened to his soulmate speak. With every flourish of his arm, his words formed blunt daggers that crashed into his chest and shook his very being, the scantily clad man responding to the abuse by squeezing his claws into his palms and baring his teeth in anger. Demons not being real? Just where did he get those lies from? To almost anyone else, such a topic wouldn't have elicited such a response, but it was different for Alti. Having spent the majority of his life in the presence of such creatures, he had learned many things about how the world worked just by living amongst them. They were his friends, giving him company and care where humans could not. They were definitely real, and they definitely made "sense". When Cyrus had finally finished, Alti looked as if he were ready to kill him, but soon dropped the mien in favor of a more relaxed one. Couldn't lose his cool just yet. He came here to meet people, not destroy them. It wasn't worth the strain. "Ha-ha-ha, well you just have ALL the answers now, don't you?" he flatly inquired, taking a step away from the wall. "Well, let me tell you something..." He paced back and forth as he spoke. "I dunno what kind of hole you've been living in all this time, but to put it simply, you're wrong, and that’s OK sweetie!" He put both hands up in the air to emphasize his fake giddiness. "This is why you're SO lucky to have me as a soulmate! Now, I could just go on and on and on about the afterlife and spirits and yadda yadda yadda, but I can tell, ohhhhh I can just TELL-" he turned back to his partner and cheekily wagged a finger at him "-that that just wont do it for ya', huh? Oh, no no no, since you seem to be SO completely misinformed, I, as your soulmate, will take it upon myself to show you…."
Alti then slapped a hand against the wall, nails pointed toward the surface. With a swift clawing motion, he brought the hand a couple of feet down, producing a grating screeching noise as his fingers clawed through both space and time, creating a rift between the two worlds. Behind the tear erupted a mix of low gurgles, scrapes and growls before- {Spoiler - Click to View}

The growl sent the scientist catapulting to the other side of both of the beds, now back on his feet and standing in a defensive position. "W-W-What the fuck is that!?" he shouted, hands trembling as he gawked, becoming light-headed from the sudden movement and mix of emotions. Unlike with the earlier vision, where there was nothing but sheer unbridled confusion and terror, something deeper struck him about this revelation. Oh, no no no, since you seem to be SO completely misinformed, I, as your soulmate, will take it upon myself to show you…." "Haha... Hahahahaha..." A nervous laugh was the first thing to fall from his lips, before he started to laugh hysterically. "HAHAHAHA!" Tears streamed down his face, his hand shaking a little bit as he brought it to hold his head. "O-O-Oh fuck! B-Bet you're smiling wherever the fuck you are, old man, because I'm in fucking hell, just like you said I'd be," he mused, a look of despair crossing his expression despite the nervous chuckles that continued to bubble out. The world of science is where everything made sense. Humans were a complex puzzle of chemicals and neurons. Brains and thoughts could be explained by neurology and psychology. Hardships, suffering, disaster, could be broken down into concepts and explained. It could be understood, for that was all there was. But the idea that there's something more behind the scenes, whether it be something spiritual, or demonic, or magical, threw all of that out the window. It took away the logic behind the evils of the world, evils that he always believed lay within the complexities of people. If the demons of lore were real, then what about the gods? If he accepted the existence of one, he accepted the existence of them all. He didn't want to do that. Slowly he stepped forward, moving towards the rift, tears still streaming down his face as he walked up to where Alti was standing, his morbid curiosity and temporarily hindered rationale sending him to move to push his hand through the rift. If he was going to accept what he despised as truth, what he rejected and shirked for the sake of his own well being, he would need to see for himself.

Rin's head suddenly rose his pillow, eyes wide at first before locking into a serious glare. "I'm going out." The short man suddenly jumped off the bed and into action, rushing to his suitcase and tearing it open. He rummaged through it's contents, grabbing various containers, trinkets and papers and shoving them into his pockets. He then turned to the door, but on his way out he stopped, returning back to the suitcase and pulling out a sigil on a cord and hanging it around his neck and then tucking it into his sweater. With that obtained he then rushed out, slamming the door behind him. "Jeager what the hell are you doing?!" he called out, looking around for the ferret.
No reply.
Rin stood motionless, looking around the hall and at each of the doors before his eyes locked on door 5. There was no mistaking that what he was feeling was coming from there. He muttered something in Latin, a protection spell, as he approached the door, before stopping in front of it, not sure of how he should proceed.

Alti stood there frozen in place, shocked at the scientist's sudden shift in demeanor. His fingertips trembled at the base of the rift as he cautiously observed the hysterical man's movements. Just what does he think he's doing? he thought, contemplating whether or not the portal should stay open. Was he trying to harm the demon? It'd make no sense for a simple mortal to be able to inflict much damage on a otherworldly spirit, especially one who appeared to be losing themself with every second. Alti couldn't get a good enough read on his soulmate's actions. Humans always seemed to be a mystery to him, and this was no different. The only way to understand now was to wait. The spirit hidden beneath the crack was none too pleased with the foreign hand reaching out towards it, its snarling getting louder as it showed its fangs, prepared to defend itself. Alti watched Cyrus' arm warily. Its motions were steady, the man's motivations appearing... calm? Alti couldn't describe it all too well, but he knew now that it wasn't a threat to neither him nor his little "friend", which made the beast's reaction all the more alarming. The hatted man looked into its eye, shaking his head "no" in hopes of calming it down. He gave a puzzled glance at Cyrus once more, taking the scientist's hand and guiding it onto the creature's head. "It's OK." he assured the demon. "He... he won't hurt you.." He turned back to Cyrus again. "... right?" He had to be sure.

He needed his answers, which came as a flood of indescribable emotions as his hand was guided seamlessly through the rift in time and space and made contact with the creature on the other side. He stared blankly into the otherworldly dimension on the other side, leaving his hand gently in place once it made contact. "...Yeah," he mumbled, lightly running his hand down the surface it had made contact with, breath hitching a little bit. Real. He ran his hand over what appeared to be the hell beast's head a few more times. "Just... trying to make sense of this," he sighed, glancing at Alti and slowly removing his hand and rubbing his temples, still staring at the creature on the other side. His mind was now buzzing with thoughts and frustrations, none of which he cared to open up to the stranger he was paired with. Perhaps he'd eventually ask some of the more burning personal questions bottled up in the back of his mind, but for now... "Well, whatever I guess. You're right, I'm wrong, ha-ha-ha," he grumbled, wiping his cheek dry with the back of his hand. He paused for a few moments before announcing in his regular tone of voice, "Fuck it! This day's been long enough. I'm going to bed," walking over to his suitcase and grabbing his sleepwear. Carelessly he changed clothes on his way over to the bed before flopping back in his original position. He frankly didn't care to think on this any longer. Nothing more would be gained from continuing to dwell on this with how mentally exhausted he was. He needed to just push them aside and rest. A few moments of silence passed before he replied without moving from his position, "Night."

A few moments of silence passed before he replied without moving from his position, "Night." "Uh... night." Alti scratched the back of his collar, turning toward the eye as the other man went to sleep. The beast stared Cyrus down until he hit the bed, then looked back to his companion, a bit of confusion beginning to take form on its features. "We should probably do the same," Alti whispered. "Come on. Put this away for me.", he said, handing it the top hat. The creature understood this order and backed away in response, taking the hat by the brim with its teeth and going off further into the void. As silently as he could, Alti tugged at the rift's sides and tore at it until if was large enough for him to step through, then closed the portal as soon as he got inside. A few minutes passed and the man stepped back out of another portal completely changed in his night clothes. He could feel another prescience nearby but chose to ignore it in favor of losing this tense moment in a dream or two. Upon reaching his bed, Alti blinked at the distance that had accumulated between the two in his absence. He sighed before jumping in and pulling the sheets over his head in frustration. So much for sleeping together.

Everybody went to sleep, wondering what the next day would hold. A voice sounded over the intercom, waking them all up. “If you didn’t notice overnight, the plane has landed~!” Tyreithillis chimed into the microphone. “It’s the first date today--a fancy meal complete with a waltz at the end! So, get dressed and ready for a great day~!” she said with a giggle. The intercom switched off leaving them to get ready. ~ When everybody was ready and gathered together, the two scientists came in dressed to the nines, with Elenara in a tuxedo and Tyreithillis in a long dress. “So, you’ll first have dinner together and then you’ll have a slow dance at the end. Are you all ready?” They all headed in, and discovered a room that looked like it was out of a fantasy book. It was a lavish ballroom, with tables on the side. The windows had stained glass designs which sent light in the room with beautiful colors. “The butlers will assign you a table. Have fun~!” Tyreithillis chimed. She took Elenara’s hand and they walked off together, arm in arm. Date:Commence!

The smoke that now filled the bathroom flew back to Aberdeen's neck, forming their 'head.' They were barely awake, and weren't exactly listening to everything the woman was saying, but from what they gathered, today was to be their first date. A date with Maicy, huh..? They couldn't help but wonder what would screw the entire event up. Most likely Vale wanting a rematch or Alti failing to keep it in his pants. Aberdeen got out of their makeshift bed, sore all over, as the sauntered over to their suitcase. They removed their supplies and attached their head, as well as dressed themself up. Aberdeen yawned as they tied the bandana around their nose, already becoming annoyed with the process. Then the message the woman had given finally connected in the fighter's head. Dinner and a dance. A dance."Aaaw shit...I don't know how to fucking dance..who waltz these days anyways!? it's 2016!!' They mumbled angrily to themself as they styled their hair. This did remind them of something that they'd have to ask Maicy later, once the date started. As they finished the final piece of their wardrobe, the walked out of the bathroom, hoping that their attire was 'fancy' enough. ------------ The ballroom was rather impressive, but Aberdeen wasn't used to the fancy life anyways, so anything moderately fancy would come as a surprise to them. Butlers were apparently seating them, while the two scientists ran off together. Aberdeen rolled their eyes inside of their mannequin head, becoming more and more annoyed with the two with each passing minute. Aberdeen turned to Maicy, their arm outstretched in an exaggerated way. "Well, madam! Shall we find our seats?" They spoke in an over-the-top british accent. Before Maicy could answer, the butler had already come by to direct them to their seating arrangements. Aberdeen followed, taking this opportunity to ask their question. "Yo, babe. What's your favorite color? i wanna know for future reference." They asked as the sat down at the table, kicking their feet up onto the clean linen tablecloth. {Spoiler - Aberdeens Outfit}

Date:Commence!Vale shifted uncomfortably in his new attire, still not quite 'fancy' but as close as he could get, since he had to make his own pants due to sizing issues with his left leg. He had put on a pair of gloves to disguise that his arms were also mechanical, but had decided it best to slowly reveal himself to his soulmate over time rather than surprising her with an almost completely metal body, since interesting and personal questions would be asked upon discovering that. It was clear that his left leg was artificial, as well as his other foot, but past that everything was still covered. A familiar butler from the plane came up, bowing lightly, and Vale smiled at seeing a familiar face. "Sandwich butler, my main man, how are you!" The two highfived, although the butler didn't show any glee on his face. Vale noted the man had a nametag now. "Deep...Pond?" Vale inquired. "WOW great name! You sound like you were born for the stage!" A single tear rolled down the butler's cheek as he turned away and hastily moved towards the table, gesturing for Vale to follow. Vale sat down where he was directed and waited for his soul mate, not having seen her since getting ready. "Thanks, Deep." The butler still had tears streaming down his face as he left Vale alone. "Must've been something I said..."

"Hey..." Alraada tapped him on the shoulder. "Uh... you ready...?" she inquired. She was visibly bit nervous, nervous enough for it to seem as if it was her first date ever,even at 21. "I-I'll just follow him...l-lets go" She followed the butler, heading of Vale,as she didn't want him to see her from the front anymore. The front part of her neck , which she thought would be covered due to the nature of the dress, was causing her major insecurity. This is why I need to try shit on before I wear it out...
