His glass shook slightly and he quickly grabbed it before it became noticeable. "Looks like we're about to have company," He looked at Alraada with a smile. "If you want me to punch him for you, just let me know. I'll play nice if you do." He waved to the two, his voice gleeful with no hint of previous malice. "Looks like you're joining us!" He gestured to the chairs. "Always room to make more friends~!" She sighed loudly. Why did he of all people have to show up. "It's...fine. As much as I want to punch him myself, that'd just make things worse. I don't want to lose all chances of reconciliation." She waved lightly at Cyrus, ignoring the stripper. "Hey Miley, how's the day treating you?"

'Not scientist man, can Sami have that? Pass it over to Sami, please?' she said reaching her arms out towards it. She showed little class. 'I apologise for whatever trouble Sami has caused you all. There are some things that do get to her as you now know, so I ask to take a little caution.' Robb'in was delighted that he too was being served, although it was only bird feed. He gladly pecked away. Sami waved her fork and knife, 'Sami wants everyone to know that Sami is sorry! Sami would like to.. be forgiven. Can everyone.. forgive Sami?' Cyrus raised an eyebrow, pointing at the thing she was reaching towards. Not-A-Scientist is the first nickname I get? "This? You got it kiddo," he said, picking it up and setting it in front of her, tugging his arm out of the way as she brandished her fork and knife mid-apology. "Don't worry about it, kid," he chuckled, watching the bird pecking away while in his own formalwear with a confused grimace on his face, turning back to his own table. She sighed loudly. Why did he of all people have to show up. "It's...fine. As much as I want to punch him myself, that'd just make things worse. I don't want to lose all chances of reconciliation." She waved lightly at Cyrus, ignoring the stripper. "Hey Miley, how's the day treating you?" Cyrus chuckled in surprise at 'Miley', having already forgotten that the nicknamer had become the nicknamee not just once but twice. Carefully he pushed Alti's chair in before sitting down himself. "Ahh pretty uneventful. It's mostly been me waiting on this guy to get ready, although... I definitely can't argue with the results~" he smirked, pointing his thumb towards Alti. "I should've thought to get flowers or something with that sheer quantity of spare time buuuut, Tea and Crumpets over there has us all beat on the romance aspect, eh?" he chuckled, glancing at Simon before looking back to Vale and Alraada, now surveying the two of them. Somehow, the flourescent felon had completely met every single one of his expectations by keeping that ridiculous polyester getup underneath his suit. Lettuce however exceeded his expectations by actually looking older than 14 years old. Impressive. His expression flickered just for a split second as he noticed the abundance of scars around Alraada's neck and collarbone, pushing away the sinking feeling in his gut before grinning. "You two cleaned up pretty nicely," he hummed, moving to flag down the waiter. "This whole menagerie of weirdoes did, to be honest. I'm impressed."

"We were just talking about some of our hobbies. Mostly reminiscing about high school on my end. They say they are some of your best days, that along with college!" His glass jerked to the side awkwardly and to mask the movement he fluidly picked it up and swirled the water like it was a fine wine. "High school, college, hobbies! Ho Ho~!" He was really good at this social thing, damn.

Naira had been thinking about what to wear since she woke up. She did pack some evening gowns and her iconic heels, but constantly flipped and flopped between combinations. She hoped this was the right thing to wear. As Naira drew closer to the restaurant, she spotted Simon waiting for her. Had she taken so long? She walked faster until they were face to face. "Hey. Sorry I'm late. Shall we go?"

Rin chose to ignore Aberdeen's second jab, chewing his cheek begrudgingly. He looked over at Andrew, a bit of calm washing over him as he observed his 'date's' choice in attire. Rin feared his rather liberal choice in attire would scare whoever was his soul mate off, though it was now apparent such thing were not an issue. "You look really-" he paused. If Rin said cute, would it be taken the wrong way? Handsome or beautiful didn't quite work either. Nice might be taken as an insult... "cute." All that worrying just to say what he originally had in mind, wonderful. "Um, have you heard of Moi Meme Moitie? I really like their clothes..." Andrew let out a controlled laugh, ignoring the hesitation behind Rin's comment. "Yes. I am. Hahah, thanks for noticing." Folding his hands the man placed them back into his lap. "I'd be inclined to mirror the complement." At Rin's concluding statements, Andrew cocked his head. While he was part of the fashion industry he only knew of the large names others knew and the names of those he had made connections with. "Oh.. No, I have not. But given your style I'm sure I can make a guess what it is."

He waved to the two, his voice gleeful with no hint of previous malice. "Looks like you're joining us!" He gestured to the chairs. "Always room to make more friends~!" Alti advanced, allowing his date to lead the way over to the green couple. As they walked, he noticed Vale turning to say something to his date before abruptly turning to greet them, the action prompting Alti to smile and quicken his pace a little. Leaning over, he whispered softly into Alti's ear, "Play nice with them, and I'll make it worth your while." He sighed a little bit, almost positive that his words fell on deaf ears. Alti allowed his smile to drop for a moment as he raised an eyebrow at the scientist’s vague promise. Worth his while? Alti scoffed at the idea. Oh, please. he thought. How could the man possibly know by now what’s “worth his while”? They’ve only known each other for about a day, and with most of that time being used to sleep said day away, they were still complete strangers. He remembered upon the soulmate reveal, the scientist stated he refused to beat him up, AND he’s already seen him get completely naked so… What exactly was left? It’s not like they were in zero-gravity or anything. No, at the moment, Alti could find nothing more pleasing than participating in this “date” while in in the cabbage patch’s company. He stared back at the two, a slight scowl forming on his face. For some reason, Vale made him feel... uncomfortable, and he couldn’t understand why. Perhaps it had something to with the little spat they had earlier, but that didnt make much sense on its own. He didn’t find the man all that threatening (In fact, he had to be the only person among the group of loveless misfits whose appearance was more outlandish than his), so why couldn’t he shake this tight feeling? Alti pondered at this and then shrugged to himself. Meh. It was never any use to try and figure these things out. In his past experiences, he found that the only real way to get rid of his problems was to destroy them, and that was the only thing on his mind the second he saw the free seats beside them. Alti tightened his hold on Cyrus’ arm, keeping his signature smile going as they got to their seats finally. Although he wasn’t all too certain what this day would hold for him, he could tell by both the sudden shift in Alraada’s expression and the subtle about-face her partner made in response to their arrival that the rest of this “date” would be nothing but fun. So much more fun than what his date would offer him, but still…. he couldn’t help but be a bit curious. He weighed his options for a few seconds before turning back to Cyrus. “Mmm, alright…” he whispered back with the same softness. He figured he’d chance it for now, listening to the scientist’s orders with the goal of satisfying this burning curiosity later, but rest assured if the scales tipped in favor of messing with the green team, he wouldn’t hesitate to jump ship. Alti forced a smile as he sat down. What am I, your goddamned pet? he thought, those tense feelings immediately being pushed to the side as his date pushed his chair in. Oh. He sat snugly in his seat as he listened to the other three chat to each other, blushing slightly at the compliment he was given. "Hehe... you look great too..." he muttered. He made the conscious decision not to contribute to the conversation as he couldn't really relate to the topic. Given his soulmate's alarmed reaction to his personal life, he had a feeling his "hobbies" wouldn't exactly sit easy with anyone right now either. No, as much as it killed him to not talk about himself, he decided to save it until he was better acquainted with everybody. That was how people did the "socializing" thing, right? It wasn't long until an strained response from the highlighter pen prompted Alti to begin paying close attention to the other couple's body language. Awkward. That was what this was. That was what they were, and that made Alti happy amidst the silence. It was now his turn to speak, and with Cyrus' advice in mind, motioned to ask start a new conversation, one much more innocent than what would be expected of him. Plus, he really needed an answer "So," Alti began, interlocking his fingers as he smiled a sweet smile at the others. "What exactly is a 'date', you guys?"

"So," Alti began, interlocking his fingers as he smiled a sweet smile at the others. "What exactly is a 'date', you guys?" Vale was a bit surprised by first off, the simplicity of the question, and second off that this scantily clad man had no idea what a 'date' was. Was he from a foreign country? Has he never come across a single bit of media in his life? He was as over sexualized as it could get, how did he not know what a date was in this society? For once, Vale was completely baffled, so much so that his boundless array of responses had dried up in an instant of confusion. Still, he was not one to judge too harshly, and decided to play along with whatever it was the other seemed to be trying to pull. Because surely this was a joke? It had to be. He leaned across the table, setting his drink down and pointing at Alti with a lowered eyebrow as he squinted at him. "When two people love each other very much..." He started.

"So," Alti began, interlocking his fingers as he smiled a sweet smile at the others. "What exactly is a 'date', you guys?" Cyrus gawked at Alti for a moment. How the hell doesn't he know what a date is!? The scientist was certainly more than surprised. Whether or not people had struck success in their love lives or not, even the most lonely of losers knew what the definition of a "date" was. He leaned across the table, setting his drink down and pointing at Alti with a lowered eyebrow as he squinted at him. "When two people love each other very much..." He started. Vale's explanation laced with sarcasm certainly didn't help matters either. Oh come on, I don't need two people making this difficult. Despite the outlandishness of Alti's ignorance however, with how bizarre he was he didnt completely disbelieve him. Raising an eyebrow, Cyrus looked over at Alti in shock, interrupting Vale's useless explanation. "You're serious, aren't you. Huh. That's surpising. Whatever. Usually they're how your partner gets to know you early on, and how you decide whether or not you wanna pursue a longer relationship. Later in a relationship a date is just time dedicated for both people to spend together." He glanced over at Vale and rolled his eyes. "If the date goes well, sometimes it leads to where the Power Ranger is talking about."

"True." All of a suddenen, music is suddenly around. It's seems like a orchestra version of some song from the 80s ( the song). "Oh my goodness." Maicy chuckled "They made an orchestra version of this song. Nice!" "Having trouble sitting still, kid? It's okay if you're nervous. I'm sure most people here are." They commented as Rin shuffled his feet around, the hint for Aberdeen to put their's down completely flying over their head. They were ready to 'reassure' the stranger a bit more when the music began to play, and apparently a song that Maicy enjoyed. While Aberdeen didn't actively listen to this song on their own free time, it was one of their friend's favorites. He used to blast the song on repeat whenever he and Aberdeen hung out, and thus the fighter knew the song by heart. They chuckled as the music started picking up, and began to sing along with it, not really caring if anybody was listening. It was the most exciting thing they could do at the date anyways, since most of everyone's time would be spent eating, drinking and dancing, none of which Aberdeen planned on doing.

He glanced over at Vale and rolled his eyes. "If the date goes well, sometimes it leads to where the Power Ranger is talking about." Vale placed his hands into a pyramid shape on the table and giggled idiotically. "Teehee. Power Ranger." It took him a moment to register that Alti must have been, in fact serious, which made him more than a little curious. "So. Alti was it? What part of the world did you crawl out from before all this? Were you homeschooled, private school, what?" The way he was phrasing it was a bit harsh, but he was still flabbergasted that the conversation had even happened.

Alti hadn't known exactly where Vale was going in his explanation, and the sarcasm hidden within his tone annoyed him. He rolled his eyes and turned to his soulmate as the other man began to speak. "Ohh..." he hummed, taking his eyes off Cyrus to examine the ballroom again and then looking back at him and smiling mischievously. He placed a hand on the man's shoulder as he turned his whole body around to face him. "So, what you're saying is if this 'date' thing goes well, then we really can b-" "So. Alti was it? The way he was phrasing it was a bit harsh, but he was still flabbergasted that the conversation had even happened. Did he just interrupt me?Alti swiftly turned over to the beach towel, as Cyrus had called the other man, a bit irritated at the harshness present in Vale's voice as he threw out a slew of questions. Was he trying to get to him already? It hadn't even five minutes and the celery stalk was already treating him like he was stupid. Needless to say, he didn't appreciate the gesture. His hand slid off of Cyrus' arm and back to his side, a pout forming on his lips. He blinked once before resting his forearm on the table's edge and eyed the other man's... eye. So much for keeping his personal life to himself. ".... None of the above." he spat coldly. "The Underworld...."

".... None of the above." he spat coldly. "The Underworld...." Vale stared at the other man, squinting harder now. "Knew it," He said, leaning back in his seat and putting his arms behind his head. "You look like the gang type. What were you, cradle robbed? Ran away from home? Sold for the hell of it? Something like that?" He casually brought this up as though it were completely normal, and clearly something he'd talked about before.

"Oh yes!" The curly headed man said, caught off guard by his soul mate's appearance. She looked lovely, however. He had to remember to tell her so once seated. "And I would hardly call you late things haven't really started. Though-" Simon then held forward the small array of flowers he had brought with him. "Before we get seated I ought to give you this. I know it's a bit archaic of me, but I've a real soft spot for flowers."
Rin looked down at his lap, cheeks colored. He questioned whether or not he had just made a fool of himself, and how he should continue the conversation. Another question? would that be awkward? Prying? Rin started to get anxious, he wanted to just get up and say he had to go to the bathroom though the others would most likely see right through him. Aberdeen's comment didn't help the situation either. "Actually, it's you feet," the blond snapped, eyes still locked on his lap, too shy to look back towards his date.

Alraada sighed lightly at the passive agressive grimble grumble between Alti and Vale. She was gettign quite annoyed. She pulled a book from a purse she brought along with her. 'Shadow Slayers Volume Two: Tairaga.' Hell yes. She was a sucker for good stories like these.

The way he was phrasing it was a bit harsh, but he was still flabbergasted that the conversation had even happened. Cyrus anticipated the response he was about to give, most likely a 'yes' to whatever Alti was about to ask when the tuxedo-clad greenbean interjected, sighing and frowning over at him. Oh what the fuck, pixie stick. Are you really gonna be combative two seconds into this goddamn conversation? Alti was already on the offensive as well, not that the scientist could particularly blame him this time around as the luchador continued to pick and prod. ".... None of the above." he spat coldly. "The Underworld...." Vale stared at the other man, squinting harder now. "Knew it," He said, leaning back in his seat and putting his arms behind his head. "You look like the gang type. He casually brought this up as though it were completely normal, and clearly something he'd talked about before. Why am I not surprised. Cyrus sighed and gently patted Alti's thigh reassuringly, hoping the conversation didn't continue to escalate. He sure as hell didn't understand enough of what had happened last night to attempt to explain how and why Vale was wrong. Instead he looked to Lettuce who'd checked out of the tense conversation with the help of a book he was rather familiar with. "Ahh you're into this series as well Lettuce? It's pretty great, right?" he grinned brightly, pointing and hoping to steer the conversation away from the tension-riddled territory it was sailing into. "I dunno how far you are on the Tairaga arc, but one of my favorites gets introduced in this volume."
