Sami continued to stall time by chewing on her breadsticks. She didn't even turn to see that Arshrin had bowed his head.
Robb'in stopped eating his bird feed and perched on her shoulder, 'Hey, should you really be giving him the silent treatment? I thought he was your world.' Sami brushed off a stray crumb and gently prised Robb'in off and back onto the table. Afterwards, she turned to make eye contact with Arshrin. Her eyes were somewhat dulled, in comparison to before.
'Sami is not mad. Could you please leave Sami alone right now?' she said. Her face was unreadable and she spoke no more.

"O-oh.... Okay..."
Arshrin looked down even further. He's trying his hardest not to get teary eyed.
"What can I do?" he wimpered, probably not loud enough for anyone to hear
---
Maicy looked around. She sees the table that Sami and Arshrin.
"What the hell is going on?"
It seems something depressing Sami and Arshrin is kind of being an emotional wreck about it.
"Oh for fucks sake..." She wispered.
She looked at Rin and Andrew.
"Could you excuse me for a moment?"
Maicy got up her chair and walked over the the table the depressed duo is at.
"Hey."
Maicy put her hands on her hips. Her attention is more at Sami than at Arshrin.
"Look, I have no idea what you are depressed about but you shouldn't let it affect your date.."
She sighed
"Enjoy it while you still can, girl."
Not gonna lie, Maicy would have been a lot harsher but she did held back.

Vale brushed away Alraada's hand and pulled the cloth back down. He chose not to say anything at this point. "If you ask me, the only one making this date 'unpleasant' is your little wannabe action figure over here." He began swinging his feet again. Vale glared at the kicking legs underneath the table, shifting back and forth to avoid them. “Um, excuse me, people are trying to reflect on their actions down here.” Vale's phone buzzed again and he furrowed his brow. Did his mom text him again? What the hell. He checked the message and once again it was from a number he didn't recognize, completely different from the previous number from the night before. Shaking a bit, he clicked the message. "Seems you've landed. Do you know what tomorrow is?" There was a sinister meaning behind these words. Vale was about to delete the text when he noticed another one come in.
"Why are you under the table?" He froze, clutching the phone tightly. His phone started buzzing continuously as more messages poured through. "Who's that girl you're with?" "Moved on so quickly?" "Does she know?" "Does she know what a freak you are?" "I have her phone number " "Want me to show her?" There was a small pause between the stream of messages. What were they talking about? Were they bluffing? They had to be bluffing. Another message came in.
"Happy anniversary " There was a photo attached. {Spoiler - Click to View} "I'm going to make her as pretty as you " "Fucking hell..." The phone was suddenly kicked from Vale's hand by Alti's swaying feet, and he cursed loudly as his head went up and hit the table. He burst out from under the table on his hands and knees, trying to find where it had skid off to. He couldn't let anyone see that picture, how the fuck was he supposed to explain that?

((not going through his order)) "... I'm on a diet," Rin lied, covering his embarrassed red face with his menu before the waiter awkwardly pried it from his hands.
Andrew ordered his meal and passed off the menu before giving Rin a look. "Why so?" His eyebrows raised quizzically. "Oh- may I ask? There a reason you on a diet or 's'it not something you want to talk about?"

She stood up and headed over to his phone, managing to barely beat him over there. "Hey, I've got it, don't worry." She picked it up and saw the grotesque image on the phone, and nearly dropped it. "I..uh...." she shakily handed it back to him. "Here you go...I'm sorry about that...I'm sorry about all of that...." she knew how she would feel if someone saw all of the scars and metal she had on her body. "I promise, I won't think of you any different. And I'm not lying, I don't do that." She sad back down at the table

She stood up and headed over to his phone, managing to barely beat him over there. "Hey, I've got it, don't worry." She picked it up and saw the grotesque image on the phone, and nearly dropped it. Vale watched numbly as Alraada managed to get to his phone before he could. She watched her expression change to horror as she almost mishandled the device, his heart sinking. The phone seemed to appear in his hand out of nowhere, the image still gleaming on the screen as the most recent message flashed to obscure it. "Did you see her face? I sure did." Vale dropped the phone to the floor and crushed it beneath his foot, glaring at the pieces as he ground them into the floor. He couldn't say anything to Alraada, just turned away and ran towards the door, fuming. He walked right past Aberdeen and started going around to all the windows outside the area, searching for the culprit behind the messages. He found a phone tucked away in the bushes nearby. "Looks like you broke your phone. Need a new one?" "Strawberries and cream," He muttered, holding the phone with both hands and spinning around. "Where the hell did you go?" He screamed in frustration. He leaned against the outside wall and slid to the floor, still holding the glowing screen in his hand. "See you around~."
Vale chucked the phone away from him and rubbed his temples. "Now what..." He whispered to no one. He couldn't imagine facing Alraada right now. He ran his fingers over the back of his head, scraping against the metal plate on top. So much for taking things slow. This project was a joke. Maybe it was time to leave before he dragged more people into this never ending game of cat and mouse.

Aberdeen's cigarette was nearly burnt out when Vale rushed by them, catching them off guard as he stomped around furiously. They fighter simply stood there, not really bothering with the man, given the two didn't have the best track record. Aberdeen peered inside the doorway, trying to get an idea of what happened but couldn't gather anything. "Well. Looks like this might've been a waste of time." They muttered to themself as they looked down at their cigarette. They decided they'd wait it out, as surely someone from inside would run out to catch Vale before his rampage continued. Until then, they kept leaning against the wall.

She waved tot he other slightly, and continued to look for Vale. she came upon him in a bush, as it wasnt all that hard to spot him due to his bright jumpsuit. "uh...hey....sorry about that. I didn't mean to invade your privacy. I understand if you're angry." she hoped he believed her when she said she didn't care, she really did. Well, she wouldn't believe anyone if they said they were fine with her if they found pictures of her when she was... She shook the thought from her head. Alraada laid a reassuring hand on his shoulder, not saying anything further, as she didn't want to step over her boundaries. If there was anything she as understanding about, it was this.

He allowed her to speak without saying anything, sighing when she was finished and not moving away from her touch. "It's fine. I'd say I was used to it, but I haven't really been around people since...well...that." He left the sentence drifting awkwardly. "I realize I'm not the easiest person to be around. I don't mean to cause people trouble. It has a way of following me." He shrugged off her hand now in order to stand up. "I made a scene in there, didn't I." He laughed awkwardly and leaned heavily against the wall. "Another thing I've always been good at. Have to put on a show." He smiled bitterly beneath the mask. "I'm fine now. And I'm...sorry." The word felt genuine but still somehow came out forced. He didn't feel comfortable having someone else know. Other questions usually followed. How do you move so well, being one. It was clear from the quality of his left leg that this wasn't any high grade material. One leg he could play off, but most of his body would be harder to explain away with a smile and 'determination!'. "We should...go back inside. And I should..." Another heavy sigh on his part. " Apologize? Noodle soup, I'm sorry. Really. I keep fucking this whole thing up for you. We're going to be tied together for awhile and I don't want you to be unable to make any friends because you're stuck with me. So I'll...I'll try harder to be more... normal." This whole conversation was making him wince.

Alraada ran by the fighter, almost on queue, after Vale who had disappeared from Aberdeen's line of sight. They simply nodded at the lettuce-haired girl, since they still had their bandana down and them saying something would have been odd. The cigarette was nearly completely gone, and even though they didn't have much of a reason to do this anymore, they would anyways in case more drama happened. That and they're just incredibly nosy.
Aberdeen looked around the area, making sure no one else was in sight before bringing the burning cigarette up to their neck and pressing it through the prosthetics. It managed to burn a nice, tiny hole that would serve their purpose quite nicely. Aberdeen pulled their bandana back over their nose and securing it in place before dropping the cigarette butt on the ground and stomping it out with their boot.
As Aberdeen sauntered back into the ballroom, they let out an exaggerated sigh as they stood in the doorway. This only served one real purpose, as a small bit of 'smoke' that their head was made from slipped through the hole Aberdeen had made. It was hopefully small enough to where nobody would notice it if it floated around the room a bit. Aberdeen began walking back towards their table, while the small puff of smoke drifted towards Alti and Cyrus while staying a good ten feet above the ground. The fighter took their seat, scratching the back of their head as they kicked their feet back up onto the table.
"Sorry if I smell smokey. I need that after a long day, y'know?" They chuckled. The puff of smoke mimicked this sound, but was so small it was nearly inaudible over the sound of ballroom music.

"all that will do is make things more unpleasant for you...and you came here for love, right? I don't know all that much about love, but what I do know about love is that both parties be who they really are..." She said with a light smile, as if reading from a fairy tale. "That goes with every relationship, like friendships, and..." She grimaced a bit, but still kept a reassuring tone "...and family..." "So...yeah....just...don't change at all, alright?" She said with kind cadence to her voice. "Now, you said you wanted to apologize to the stripper?"

She said with kind cadence to her voice. Vale smiled at her warmly, glad to see she was starting to be friendlier with him, even if something like this was what had to force them to understand each other a bit better. He took note of her hesitation on family, but chose not to press, as she'd been so understanding of him so far as well. He drew her into a hug, letting go so fast it was almost like it didn't happen. " Don't change at all," He chuckled. "You as well, darling." "Yes, I should," He nodded. "He didn't make the best first impression with our game last night, but I haven't made the best first impressions in general. So I'll fix this, the best way I know how." He pulled her along behind him by the wrist. "Come along then! No time to waste." He noticed Aberdeen was missing from the entrance on their way back in. Too bad. He felt they deserved an apology as well, but it seemed now wasn't the time. Entering into the room with Alraada in tow, he swiftly moved towards their table. They hadn't been gone long, and Alti and Cyrus were still present. He released Alraada's hand and stood stiffly in front of them, sweating uncomfortably as he prepared his small speech: "I have treated you both wrongly by making assumptions and reacting harshly to your conversations! It is only fair that I allow you to take out your frustrations on me as I have on you!" He extended his arms wide and closed his eye. "So please! Give me your best hit! I will not avoid it! I do not wish for you to continue to be upset with me! Let us move past this moment and become friends! Have at thee!"

Cyrus jumped a bit, picking his wine glass up off the vibrating table. "Oh what the fuck," he grumbled, watching the sudden scramble as the highlighter in a mask went clambering for a phone that slid across the ground. The ensuing chaos between the cabbage patch kids was... awkward to say the least, and the most Cyrus could glimpse of the phone was some sort of dimly-lit photograph. Leaning over he whispered to Alti, "Guess she found his weird porn stash, eh?" before sipping his wine and setting it back down on the now-stilled table, watching Alraada run out after her soulmate. "Ahh well that was short lived and awkward," he laughed. "I'm sure you were even closer to punching the beach towel in the face than I was. Thanks for not unleashing a portal to hell on the table," he chuckled, sighing and draining the rest of his wine. It was only a few moments until the green team returned to the table. "I have treated you both wrongly by making assumptions and reacting harshly to your conversations! It is only fair that I allow you to take out your frustrations on me as I have one you!" He extended his arms wide and closed his eye. "So please! Give me your best hit! I will not avoid it! I do not wish for you to continue to be upset with me! Let us move past this moment and become friends! Have at thee!" Cyrus paused for a moment, raising an eyebrow in confusion as he attempted to process just what was going on. "...Eh," was the only sound that managed to eke out of his mouth. I wasn't being fucking serious. "What the fuck are you talking about beach towel," he gaped, entirely baffled by this man's behavior. Who the hell in their right mind... Oh. Of course. Nobody at this table is in their right mind. "I ain't gonna hit you. Now sit down." He waved his arm dismissively before gesturing back towards the two unoccupied chairs. I sure as hell won't hit him but... He side-eyed Alti. Certainly can't speak for this one though.

Alraada allowed herself to be pulled in by Vale’s quick embrace. She felt her cheeks heat up for the quick amount of time he’d done this. Was he really being genuine? She wanted to believe it, and honestly, she did. She hated being this gullible, that’s exactly how she wound up… She shook the thought from her mind. His reply to her comment gave her a warm feeling...even if he didn’t mean it...even if he didn’t care...By god did she want him to. It made her feel incredibly happy to feel like she had friends. Vale and Cyrus were most likely the closest people she had to friends in a very long time… “Thank you, Vale...I’ll try not to.” she said softly Vale took her hand as they ran inside, and she followed cautiously, doing her best not to run into passers-by. When they finally stopped and let go, Vale did something Alraada didn’t expect at all. She turned over to Alti and Cyrus, and luckily, Cyrus had already turned down his offer. She shot him a thumb up, and mouthed ‘Good job, Miley.’ She looked over at Alti, with an expression that basically sad ‘Don’t do it.’ (( cassiroll, LadyAurablade, not u))

Alti was in the midst of taking another sip when Cyrus leaned closer, the low chuckles erupting from the back of his throat preventing the liquid from going down. Once he got that out of his system, he quickly swallowed the gulp and turned to his partner to give a quick "Good one" before turning his focus back to the door the green team stormed out of. While he was a bit disappointed their reason for leaving was because of a phone rather than him, just having the other couple gone eased his nerves. Whew. His grip on the glass loosened as he swirled the remainder of its contents around as he drew out a haggard breath and leaned back in his seat. Playing nice wasn't exactly his thing, but at least now he wouldn't have to worry about it so much now, right? "Ugh.." he groaned, straightening himself up as specs of green began to float in his peripheral. Round Two, he thought, glancing over to the scientist and the hand around the glass began to tense up. Don't be so sure about that, Mr. Worth-Your-While..... Right now, the scales were tipping.I have treated you both wrongly by making assumptions and reacting harshly to your conversations! It is only fair that I allow you to take out your frustrations on me as I have on you!" He extended his arms wide and closed his eye. "So please! Give me your best hit! I will not avoid it! I do not wish for you to continue to be upset with me! Let us move past this moment and become friends! Have at thee!" And the weights seemed to have fallen straight on Vale's head.
"W- what!?" sputtered Alti, the hand carrying the wine having shut itself tight and shattering the glass, the stray shards and wine droplets mixed with blood trickling down his forearm as he sat there shaking. He couldn't be serious, right? Just one moment ago, the wrestler was accusing him of joking with an oh-so touchy subject and brushing his feelings aside in favor for more relatively trivial topics, and now this? Was he sorry now? Just what happened outside? These questions engulfed all other thoughts in the man's mind as he squeezed his fist tighter, plunging the glass further into his hand as a means to calm him down. He stared at the masked man where he stood, observing the limited features present on Vale's face, the nervous crinkling around the eye as well as the droplets of sweat forming underneath the mask setting him on edge. A broken smile began to form on Alti's lips as he glared at the other man. No. He wasn't sorry at all, and if that didn't change, then there was no way Alti would be able to just move on after this stunt. But even then, the offer DID sound promising, maybe even moreso than whatever his date was offering. A low giggle turned into a hearty chuckle and then into full-blown cackling as the scantily-dressed man finally broke his calm guise and was sent doubling over face down onto the face of the table, banging the surface with his other hand as he laughed at the ridiculousness of the situation. " Oh, you've got to be fucking kidding me!!" he chortled. He brought himself from the table and looked back at his damaged hand. "Ahhh, OK Vivi." He turned to the couple, but this time at the man's date, who seemed none too pleased with both him and with what was to come. She looked over at Alti, with an expression that basically sad ‘Don’t do it.’ Ohhh, please... he thought, taking her disapproving looks as a sad challenge. One that he'd surely win had it'd been an actual competition. The action figure still had his eye closed, and Alti took the opportunity to give Alraada a few "looks" of his own, something along the lines of.... {Spoiler - Click to View} I'm gonna...
....destroy him!
and you can't stop me... Having now conquered over his laughter, Alti got up and sauntered over to Vale and stood right in front of his outstretched arms. Thanks to his shoes, he was at eye level with the man, and being so close to the lying eye put a bad taste in Alti's mouth. Liar. he thought to himself, struggling to keep a cool face. Despite his feelings, he still felt the need to play nice. After all, it's not like his little deal with the scientist would be broken because of this; Vale was asking for it. He crossed his arms and brought his face close. "You got it, man." he panted. "I'll beat your ass and we can put this whole thing behind us just like you said, but first...." He looked over his shoulder for a second before turning back, his features hardening as he did. "Say you're sorry. For real, this time."
