The scientist looked over at Aberdeen and sighed, patting them on the shoulder. "Thanks for the offer. I'm gonna sleep on it but unless some reason pops up for me to stay, I am probably outta here tomorrow. I worked too hard to get away from that kinda shit, and hell if I'm gonna just willingly go back to a shithole of a living situation." He chuckled a little bitterly and sighed. "And nice as having a significant other can be, I don't need it for a 'lifetime of happiness'." ...Probably.Aberdeen gulped, part of them understood where Cyrus was coming from, but another, much bigger, part didn't want to see the scientist go. A reason to stay, huh...? An idea popped in Aberdeen's head, but it was too stupid to say. It'd only been a day..They didn't even know eachother.. "You should stay for me..." They suddenly blurted out, unintentionally. Their aura almost visibly glowing bright pink through their fake head. "I-I-I-I mean for us! heheh..." They tried playing it off. "Me and Alraada, that is! That kid needs your help! You and her were just hitting it off! She needs your help! And, like...you and I kinda hit it off and I kinda wanted to get to know you more...y'know?" They put their hands in their pockets and kicked up some dirt. "You don't even HAVE to hang around Alti! You can avoid him! But Lettuce over there needs you! To like...bring her out of her shell...she doesn't listen to anyone else, y'know? But you're different, heheh..You're, like...the only guy who's ever really been able to get through to her..." Aberdeen stated, coyly, it becoming somewhat apparent they weren't just talking about Alraada anymore.

Cyrus blinked in surprise as he listened to Aberdeen blurt out their thoughts, raising an eyebrow and chuckling a bit. "You really want me to stay, don't ya," he smirked wryly. The scientist curiously stared at them for a quiet moment and studied their body language, knowing he wouldn't be getting any answers about their train of thought out of their prosthetic face. But after a couple beats of silence he sighed, bringing his gaze towards Alraada. "Yeah... Lettuce really needs someone to be a dork around and I certainly fit the bill for that, heh. She's a lonely kid, y'know? Heh... Hopefully she's doing okay after that shitshow." He could always provide both of them with his e-mail or number if necessary but, would Alraada really be able to survive with that unstable luchador? How is that even my responsibility? Cyrus ran a hand through his hair, taking one more look at the surrounding debris before looking back to Aberdeen, patting them on the shoulder. "Anyways, I'll take all your arguments into consideration and sleep on it," he chuckled quietly and sighed. "...Thanks, Hedgehog." He could practically feel the exhaustion and stress etched into his features. Looking towards the scientists, he called out, "Ready to go when you ladies are."

Looking towards the scientists, he called out, "Ready to go when you ladies are." Aberdeen's aura changed from pink to yellow as they heard the scientist thanking them. Maybe their words had gotten through to him. Whatever the case, he'd hopefully be staying just a little longer. That'd give Aberdeen time to figure out how to work everything out between him and Alti, if there even WAS a way. With that done, Aberdeen began walking away from the ballroom. "I'll meet you all back at the hotel later! I have some errands to run! Oh..before i go." Aberdeen walked back and poked their head inside the ballroom. "HEY! Babe!! Looks like everyones going back to the hotel! I'll meet you there later! Don't wait up for me, k sweetheart?" They pointed their finger towards her before walking out again. "Now that that's settled, I'm audi. Later!" Aberdeen began walking off into the city streets, their aura quickly fading to a lime green as they felt sick to their stomach. The fight was gonna be a pain in the ass. How would they explain the bruises to Maicy? How would she react? Aberdeen shook these thought from their head as they walked down the road, cars buzzing by. They undid their scarf and let their suspenders fall of their shoulders before untucking their shirt. "Much better..." They muttered to themself. Aberdeen stood on the side of the road, watching as cars continued passing by until a taxi came into view. "TAXI!! TAXI!!" They began waving their arm out towards the street until the cab came to a stop at the curb. " Where to?" The man asked in a gruff, throaty voice. " 45543 Chesting Avenue.." They muttered, somewhat hesitantly. And with that, the vehicle was off. As the cab slowly swerved through town and out towards the outskirts of the city, Aberdeen couldn't shake this strange uneasiness. As if somebody were watching them this whole time... Before they knew it, the cab pulled over. Sure enough, a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. Very sparse in terms of activity, save the occasional homeless fellow. The fighter stepped out of the car, handing the man their payment before walking inside the warehouse. Heavy seemed to be waiting for them, as well as a few other early birds. Nothing particularly special, just a few men with nothing better to do with their money other than waste it on illegal gambling. "Glad to see ye showed up, Smoke." Heavy spat, his deep tone giving Aberdeen the chills. "Let's go talk in the back." He motioned towards the end of the building. They didn't question this at all, and simply followed the man. "Here's the deal, Smoke. First of all, take that stupid head off. I can't take you seriously with it on." Aberdeen obliged and removed the head without hesitation. Their aura was a forced shade of their natural color, while smoke simply wafted from their neck. "Change of plans. Turns out, everyone's expectin' you to win. SO, I'mma place a bet AGAINST you, and you're gonna throw the fight! Take a little beating and be on your way! We'll make mad cash here! A'ight?" They chuckled, speaking low so none of the others heard them. Aberdeen simply nodded their neck, signifying that they understood. "Great!! Get warmed up then! Heh, not that you need to! Hahahaha!" They let out a hardy laugh as they walked off, back towards the 'audience.' With Heavy's back turned to them, they allowed a burst of red energy to erupt from their neck hole before settling down again. "Tonight is gonna be long...." They uttered to themself as they removed their clothing, save for a pair of boxing shorts they had beneath their trousers.

The scientists made sure everybody left the place making sure nobody had left anything behind. The people who had not gone on to do their own thing were greeted with a beautiful hotel, seemingly a four star one at that. Everybody was escorted to their two (or three) person room with their soulmate(s), with all their luggage from the plane neatly put down in the room where they were to stay. The scientists wished them all a good night's sleep, and Elenara offered to take care of anyone who may have been injured. The test subjects, when the scientists were gone, were free to do what they wished in the hotel.
The scientists will monitor the test subjects a little closer, especially the ones who were all outside.

Maicy finished her food for the day. She enjoy the steak and even the spicy breadsticks Maicy nodded. She didn't got the chance to fully respond. It seems that everyone is still at this really nice hotel. There are some that are spending time outside. Including Aberdeen. Maicy went to the room that she and Aberdeen are staying at. It's really nice to be at. She took a shower changed into less fancy but more comfortable clothing, A.k.a, her pajamas. "I'm all set." Maicy look into more stuff that she forgot to unpack. She sees a photo album. Maicy herself didn't pack that. Her mother or Celesthy might've put that in since they wanted to do that thing where you show your child photos to when they are really young. "Damnit, I was getting the feeling they would pull this shit." Maicy sighed but she is not too irritated. "Well, I might as well look in." She opened the album. She pictures of herself from when she was a small child. It's usually with dolls and bent forks. Maicy chuckled at some of the things she used to pull when she was young. ((Child!Maicy Flashback in Spoiler.)) {Spoiler} "Mommy, Mommy! Look Look! The fork looks like a swirly!" "M-Maicy, No!" Maicy laughed out loud. "Hopy shit, I rememer how freaked out Mom was, ahahahah!!!" Maicy calmed down from laughing so hard. She turned the next page and...there pictures of her when she was in middle school. Almost none of which have Maicy smiling. This became a reminder what Maicy went through ((Preteen!Maicy Flashback in Spoiler)) {Spoiler} "Hey, you see that Maicy chick over there!" "Uh, yeah! What about her?" "Why do you think she walks home by herself?" "That's because she is such a crybaby loser. Maicy is a worthless shut-in" "Oh really? Hahahah! Sounds pathitic." "I have to say, if she was more like us, she would find a human being to interact properly with." Maicy kept on walking away as far as possible form those talking loudly behind her back. "I hate this school. I wanna leave!!" Maicy cried as she kept walking. Maicy became dead silent. She remembered all the mental torture she had to put up with. From bullies talking behind her back to betrayal, as well as teachers not believing her about them on top of that. She closed the album. "Those assholes in middle school should've gotten expelled..." Maicy said, with her tone of voice being dead serious. She thought about what would it be like if she saw some of those bullies again. Would she be able to have to fight them? She would during her teen years but Maicy became a bit more reserved than that. "Damnit! Damnit! Dam nit!! Damnit!!! I fucking hated middle school!!!!" I think that's the reason why I joined....I wanna stop living in fear. And maybe that's why I acted like a cocky little shit in my teen years while I was in the company.Maicy tries to keep her act together but she couldn't. She kneeled down on the floor and began to have a panic attack. Then she remember what Aberdeen said the last night. With remembering that, Maicy took a deep breath 10 times. " I shouldn't been like this." She stood up. "I think I need an orange soda." Maicy checked the fridge and it turns out, there are some orange soda. "Ah! Lucky day." Maicy grabbed the bottle, opened it, and started drinking it. "Phew! I really needed that!"

The next couple of hours consisted of nothing special. Aberdeen waited in the back of the warehouse as more of the 'audience' showed up as well as their opponents. They let out a sigh of utter annoyance at the fact they'd have to throw the fight tonight. It was so stupid. After all the shit they'd dealt with tonight, they really needed to let loose on somebody. Heavy motioned for Aberdeen to come over, to which they obliged. The ring was set up, made of poorly put together wooden planks. They'd crumble if one of these fighters were thrown into them. Aberdeen shrugged, as it wouldn't matter. They had to throw the fight. No.....They thought to themself. I'm not throwing this goddamn fight...I need this after the night I've had... Aberdeen's aura faded into red as they hopped into the ring. The Steel Twins hopped over the other side, gloating and taunting Aberdeen, to which they got no response out of them. The fight was set to start, when Heavy leaned over the ring and whispered to the fighter, his words inaudible to the screaming crowd. {Spoiler - Click to View(Warning, slight transphobia)} Aberdeen's plan followed through without an issue. First they tore The Steel Twins to bloody pieces(literally) to which the crowd went wild. Their mass cheering turned into mass panic however when they realized Aberdeen was not done with THEIR match. The headless being broke through the poorly constructed ring, and attacked everyone in the warehouse until each and every person there was killed. By the end of it, Aberdeen was a bloody mess, covered in scratches and bruises of the people who tried fighting for their lives, despite it being utterly hopeless. Aberdeen walked over to one of the beams holding the warehouse up and took a breather, still not being able to shake the feeling of being watched.

Cyrus groaned and flopped down on the bed, immediately shedding his eveningwear jacket. "Fuck it," he grumbled, kicking open his luggage to change from his formalwear to loungewear and sliding his laptop out from under the rest of his wardrobe. Like the night before, the scientist was tempted to leave his clothes out haphazardly, but he paused, carefully reordering everything in the suitcase. Ready to go. Fingers gripping his technology tightly, he brought his laptop and cellphone back over to the bed he'd claimed as his, although from the look of it, he could only assume his 'date' wasn't going to be returning tonight and the mental bed assignments wouldn't even matter.
Click went the laptop as he flipped it open and hit the power button, impatiently tapping his fingers on the touchpad as it booted up. He'd brought it along for two reasons. One being if there was a work emergency, and two being if he needed to bail. And it looked like it was gonna be the latter. I lasted one day longer than I thought I would at the very least, he smirked bitterly.
The sharp and sudden growl of his stomach signaled to the scientist how he'd entirely forgotten to eat that night, and how displeased it was to be full of alcohol and nothing else. Cyrus sighed and fumbled around near the desk, finding a menu for room service and flipping through it.
"12 dollars for a sandwich, are you fucking kidding me," he grumbled, thumbing through the menu before calling up the hotel's room service and ordering a panini and 4 bottles of water. "28 dollars for that mess," he spat, answering the door and aggressively accepting his food once it arrived. Cutting the sandwich in half, he shoved the first half partially into his mouth, carrying it over to the bed like the graceless bachelor he was and immediately clicking open his web browser.
"Plane tickets... tomorrow night from... mhhh..." his mumbles muffled by the bread stuffed in his mouth, finding the cheapest flight he could. $600. I can swing that, he grumbled, cursor hovering over the "Book Flight" button. But something held him back, the man taking another bite of his sandwich and holding it in his hand.
...Lettuce and Hedgehog ain't my responsibility. I gotta think of myself here, he sighed, thumb hovering over the left click button before a conflicted groan ripped from his mouth. Head falling forward, he Alt-Tabbed to his desktop, gaze lingering on the background. What the fuck should I do? Am I gonna regret leaving? Because I'm already regretting coming.
"I'm really missin' you tonight, buddy," he swallowed, silently staring at the desktop background for a moment. You'd actually know what the fuck to do in this situation. A few moments of melancholy later he popped back open the browser, covering the screen with the window once again. "Gotta make a decision here..." he sighed, opening one of the bottles of water and chugging it quickly.

Maicy drink more of her orange soda, she looked at the time. It's been a while. How long is the errend that Aberdeen has to do? Hopefully they're doing okay..Just then, she recieved a video message on her phone. Oh, something she doesn't have to text to. Nice. She sees the video message. ((Video Message)) {Spoiler}In the screen, it shows Celesthy. She waves "Hey Maicy. I hope you're doing okay. I know that your mother put album in without realizing your middle school. I'm sure that you might've seen them already. But I wanna let you know that don't bottle your past feelings up." Celesthy puts her hands on her hips. "Looks what happened when you did that when you were 18." Well gee, that helped alot! Not..."But while there you still need to control that temper of yours, you seem to improved from what you were when you were a teenager" You mean not be a cocky little shitbag? Yeah that makes sence."I set up other messages from the guys, who will be in support of you and your soulmate." The video cuts to two girls, Junkyo and Heremia "Maicy! Buddy!" Junkyo yelled cheerfully "Don't give up. Those asshats in middle are probably got kicked in the gut like no one's business." "And even if they are not in harm, we'll be there in support for you." The video cuts to a guy and a small girl. Faiman and Yapaiko "Hey Maicy, I know deeply how you feel, given I was there during the bullshit the school put us through." Faiman spoken "I hope your Soulmate can meet up with us." "Tell your Soulmate we said hi!!!" Yapaiko cheered "GOOD LUCK, GOOD LUCK!!" The video cuts back to Celesthy. "See? Everyone supports you. I may kinda talk shit to you at times." Gee, thanks..."But I know that you still had some difficulties. So, be open about your problems with your soulmate. See ya later" The video cuts off there. Maicy smiled. They're right. Maicy should'nt have bottle up these type of emotions. She would have Aberdeen to talk to. And maybe some of the other people here. Maybe when the time is right though. "Thanks guys.."

Vale, somehow, had fallen asleep from pure exhaustion, still in the alley way. He woke up to someone nudging his head with their foot. "Hey you, get up."Vale opened his eye, groaning from the headache he had developed from the few punches that had actually hit him. A tall, burley man with dark eyes and hair looked down at him, frowning. "Am I in your way?" Vale said flatly. The man didn't seem to be in a talking mood, dropping something on top of Vale's face before turning away. "Get out of here, man. I don't have time to deal with this kind of shit."The object slipped off his face as the other moved out of the bathroom, the sound of music becoming incredibly loud as he opening the door before vanishing back through. The muffled sounds were quieter now; it seemed most people had gone home for the evening, with just the shuffling feet of drunk stragglers left behind. Vale pulled himself out of the hole in the wall, moving his arms and legs to make sure everything was alright with them. While the movements were still a little still, they at least weren't acting without his clear command anymore. He turned back to the object and felt sick when he recognized it. Another cellphone. He picked it up, although he'd have preferred to have left it, but new ones clearly would be coming whether he wanted them to or not.
How much money are you going to make me spend on these damn things? Vale leaned forward, resting his head on his knees as he moved through the other messages. There were dozens of them. Some short, some longer, some gibberish and others not even fully in english. He couldn't figure out what they wanted from him at this point. He deleted them all and called a familiar number. "Hellu~?" A chipper voice answered on the other end. Vale got choked up as he heard her voice. He really was so childish. "H-Hi mom." "Vale! Is that you?" The tone went from happy to stressed in an instant. "Are you alright? Where are you? Is that music?"Vale took in a heavy breath, ready to brush off her questions and tell her things were fine and not to worry. But the only thing came out of his mouth was a metallic wheeze as words failed him, as they often did. "It's been one day, sweety." His mother's voice was kind, but firm. "It can't be that awful. Come on, talk to me. How did it go? What happened?""I..." His voice was shaky and he wrapped his other arm around his knees, trying to hide within himself as another bottle lifted nearby and smashed near his feet. "Calm down," She whispered. " Just talk."Vale stifled a sound trying to surface from his throat. "I messed up..."
After being on the phone for a good hour, Vale had made his way back to the hotel. It took him a bit, since he was still having some trouble moving, but he'd managed all right. Making his way through the front door, he checked in at the desk to figure out where he was supposed to go, and then made his way towards the room he was directed to. He held his room key in hand, waiting in front of the door as he stared at the handle. He debated with himself whether to knock, just walk in, or leave and wander the streets the rest of the night. He found himself unable to move, just going over his options with no clue which to pursue.

“You guys are the only ones who really get me, you know?”
------ A grotesque mixture of growls, hisses, and gurgles sounded through the holes in the jagged walls of the man’s cave, all seeming to be in response to the man’s venting. “Aww! That’s so sweet!” he chimed. “I love you all, too! I’ll see you guys later, OK?” Alti turned away from the beasts and back to a smoother area of the chamber, running a hand across its face as he stared blankly into his reflection. “I just don’t understand people, I guess…” he sighed as his words trailed off, his nails beginning to scrape against the surface. Yelling about tonight definitely took some of the edge off, but there still laid a feeling of dull uneasiness in the pit of his stomach. He pondered at this, his mind hastily replaying the events from a few minutes ago over and over as he tried to tear any form of understanding. He could… sort of able to grasp Cyrus’ reaction to the portal, but fighting? What was so wrong about that? He said ‘play nice’, and I did. That bitch would’ve been dead in any other case…. But that didn’t seem to be enough. “Might as well check up on ‘em…” he muttered. He scraped out a portal not too far away from the group, but just enough that he wouldn’t be seen. The first thing that catches his attention was his soulmate and Aberdeen talking, the scientist’s defeated demeanor making the weight heavier. While he couldn’t hear the actual conversation, it was quite obvious what was going on: his “soulmate” was going to leave. Because of him. And then he’d be alone again. Fuck. Had he messed up that badly? Alti groaned in frustration as the group began to head out for some hotel, leaving Aberdeen behind. Alti gasped as his eyes glimmered at the chance of hope before him. Judging by how the conversation with Aberdeen seemed to lighten the scientist’s mood a bit, it’d only make sense that they’d be able to help him right this mind-numbing wrong. He was thrown out of his stupor as the hedgehog began to slip out of view. Just where were they going? Alti panicked once Aberdeen hailed a cab, his determination suddenly pushing him to scratch a rift in the distance-- right in the back of the vehicle. Alti sighed in relief as his window changed. Got ‘em., he thought as he stared Aberdeen down with one eye, the portal having being small enough itself to not be noticed, but still be able to see. Wherever they were going now, he was going to follow to the very end. They arrived at what looked like an abandoned warehouse. Alti followed Aberdeen inside the building completely unseen. Fighting the burning need to step out and attract attention, Alti pushed his initial objective to the side and allowed his curiosity to get the best of him as he listened to them and their… acquaintance(?) chat. And then Aberdeen took their head off. WOW.Alti tried his best to stifle his excitement at the entire scene, from the fake head to the talks of rigged fights to Aberdeen undressing. Ahhh, they’re so exciting! he thought, his hand clenched over his mouth as he hid his girlish giggles. The smoke erupting from the fighter’s neck didn’t appear to bother him at all. He had seen stranger things in his lifetime. Aberdeen's plan followed through without an issue. Aberdeen walked over to one of the beams holding the warehouse up and took a breather, still not being able to shake the feeling of being watched. Alti wasn’t left with much time to return his focus once the match started. He watched them tear into their opponents with a disturbing amount of interest, at some point projecting both him and Vale in the ring and cackling madly as he watched the carnage. Somehow, that calmed him down, and once the warehouse was silenced, Alti was now perfectly in control of his emotions, but was still shaken a bit inside. He didn’t let that show, though. “Aaaaaaaaaaaberdeeeeeeeeeeeeen~, he sang as he fell from the height and landed straight on his heels, skipping along the mangled corpses before wrapping his arms around theirs. “That. Was. AMAZING!!!!”

How the hell did he get here!? Did he follow me!? Aberdeen's mind was racing at all these thoughts, their aura shifting from white to green in an instant. The headless being pushed Alti off of them before a stream of vomit erupted from the hole in their neck. Violent coughing ensued before they finally managed to get a hold of themself. "Wh-wh-wh-what...." They could barely form words, now there was a witness they very well couldn't kill. "How did you...why did you.." Aberdeen was stuttering as their head began glowing white again. "A-Alti....y-you can't tell anyone about this...okay?" They began pleading with the man, small smoky tears forming in the corners of their 'eyes.' It seemed as though reality was setting in what Aberdeen had just committed. 25 people. 25 people, dead by their hand. Their head looked directly at Alti, a shakiness still present in their voice. "C-can....you get...rid of all this.?"

"Y-yeah, I totally can." he said with a small hint of concern in his voice. He took a few steps toward Aberdeen and stood close enough to them to get a better view of the bodies, but still far enough that he wouldn't be stepping in vomit. Blood was completely fine, but vomit? Oh, nooooo.... Alti cringed as he settled on the thought, but soon wiped it away as he threw all of his focus onto the late audience. With a simple tap of the foot, the air stood still, the ground trembling slightly. Without warning, portals scattered themselves underneath the deceased, creating chasms to another universe to which they plummeted. Low snarling noises could be detected underneath the ground before the bodies landed with dull thud sounds. Slowly, the uniform rifts in the floor closed as the beasts inside tore at the new meat. When all was said and done, Alti turned back to the trembling fighter. "Better?"

Aberdeen didn't even flinch at the sight of portals opening around them, the sound of unknown beasts growling and grumbling, none of that concerned them. They continued to shake violently, falling over on their side before huddling into the fetal position, the head they had formed dissipating into a trail of white smoke. The sound of their sobbing echoed through the now empty warehouse. "Alti.....You can't tell anyone about this....I didn't do it on purpose....." They gasped between breaths. "You can't tell anybody...not Maicy, not Cyrus, nobody....okay..?" They mumbled, shakily. "I didn't do it on purpose.....it's not my fault....he threatened me.....he wanted to hurt me.....it's not my f-f-..." They trailed off before breaking into their sobbing state once more.

While waiting for Aberdeen, Maicy was spending the time watching television She is finishing watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
"And up next, we have 007 coming up" said the announcer of the T.V.
"Fuck you." Maicy said very bluntly while changing the channel.
"Up next on TBS, Family Guy!"
"Oh hell no!"
She changed the channel. It's a documentary on sheep. Maicy began to feel a little sleepy.
"Well shit."
Maicy is still able to write a note for Aberdeen to read when they get back.
"Aberdeen, I've been changing the channel to avoid some programs that I don't wanna see and I ended up watching a documentary on sheep. So, that pretty much caused me to be tired."
As Maicy wrote that down, she thought about something. What if Aberdeen needed something? She continue to write down.
"If there is anything you wanna ask me about, feel free to wake me up."
She folded the note in half and wrote "Sorry for dozing off."
She left the note on the table for Aberdeen to read.
Maicy went to the bed and covered herself in the blanket.
"Stupid sheep documentary.."
And with that, Maicy drifted off to sleep.

"OK", said Alti with a shrug. He took a shaky step backward from the sobbing boxer, the awkwardness of the situation beginning to suffocate him. He didn't know much about comforting people, the closest he's ever gotten to a silencing a crying individual was.... well, exactly what it sounds like, but he wasn't about to just stand there. Didn't he have an objective or something? "I don't really know your soulmate..." he mumbled, crossing his arms as he stared down at the lingering smoke. "And it's too early in the game to start ruining shit now...." He felt he knew this feeling more than anyone else in the world, even though it was just introduced to him now. His eyebrows lowered as he looked off to the side away from Aberdeen. "And Cyrus..... he doesn't even like fighting, I guess, so...." "You're fine."
