Name: Rin Barnett Age: 25 Romantic/Sexual orientation: Homosexual/Romantic, Polyamorous Backstory(optional): Was obsessed with demons since a young age, which has caused him to get repeatedly picked on by the other kids around him. As he's grown older Rin's started to engage in risker and risker behavior to feed his obsession. May or may not have trapped a demon inside the body of his pet ferret, Fritters. Currently makes a living selling demon seals, fortune telling devices, and various other occult items on his etsy and at renn faires. His parents aren't proud of him. Physical appearance:  exactly five feet tall
Rin arrived at his destination, jet lagged. He carried a large pet carrier at his side. When he noticed the small gathering of people before him he stopped, with his free hand tugging at the hem of his jean shorts. Should he had dressed nicer... more modest? He had just worn what he always had, having an affinity for stockings and often wanting to show them off. His hand then wandered up to the ram's skull hanging around his neck, nervously rubbing it between his fingers as he reconsidered the offer he had gotten in the mail.
There were so many people here. His heart quickened like a prey animal ready to flee. Just as Rin began to turn around the cage by his side began to rattle, signifying that its passenger had started to awaken. Rin paused, looking around briefly before finding a table to place the carrier on and then doing so. The short man peered inside, head turning to the side.
"Hey fritters, you awake?" He said in an overly lovey baby voice.
The Ferret in side did not take kindly to Rin's presence. It hissed and rushed at the door of the cage, swiping through the door at it's owner.
Rin's face grimmed as he picked the cage up, bring it back to his side. The ferret gave a few more angry snaps as he did so. The short man steeled himself the best he could, though his nervousness was still quite apparent, and approached the small group. He did not bother to introduce himself, that was way too nerve wracking, instead he just hoped somebody else would notice him and start an interaction.

Willow let out a awkward laugh " Maybe you shouldn't make those assumptions so fast Vale, let us wait until we get those bracelets ok?" She said trying to maintain her smile.
A lot of people had arrived and Willow hadn't introduced herself to them yet. She approached the latest arrival (( referring to Rin)) " Hi! Are you here for the shipmates thingy? I am Willow, what would your name be?" She said as she extended her hand for a handshake.

Vale seemed to recover from his emotional breakdown a few seconds after Aberdeen left his side. He wiped away the tear that had rolled down his cheek and stared blankly at him for a moment. It is unclear whether the previous emotions he had been showing were real, or just a way to get rid of someone he didn't feel like talking to. His dulling eyes lit back up, however, when he noticed a new face come into the crowd. He tip toed over to them, his hands open and waving back and forth with excitement. "Hellllooooo~~~!" He said, clasping his hands together. He cocked his head at the ferret in the cage and made a long cooing sound. "Oh my, what a cutie!" He winked. "Both of you, that is~." |

"Ms. Caelum." The man's attitude left her face in a perpetual cringe, leading her to bite back at his banter "I can definitely see why someone of your ilk would feel the need to participate in an experiment such as this." Cyrus had come up with a snide retort to direct towards Ms. Caelum, but every single coherent thought in his head went out the window as the strange man draped his arms around his shoulders. "Only if you want me to be......" he whispered lovingly, looking deep into the scientist's eyes for a few seconds. He then broke out in a fit of giggles, struggling to maintain his earlier composure. "Just kidding!" he chimed, winking at Cyrus. "We can save that for later~" His breathing hitched as the scantily clad man locked eyes, completely freezing up as he was overwhelmed by the sudden display of affection. He always did have a thing for black hair. The scientist glanced around quickly, getting flustered as he attempted to recall his last thought. S-Something to do with the exosphere...
He cleared his throat. "Name??" The everliving fuck was a name? He took a deep breath. "Ah r-right. Cyrus. I'm Cyrus. Nice to meet you, Alti." Cyrus grabbed the water bottle from Aberdeem as soon as they offered it, taking a quick drink before wiping his mouth with his sleeve.  "Thanks, they really cranked up the heat in here all of a sudden. What the hell, right?" he laughed, the quick thanks directed towards Aberdeem before he pointed at Alti with the waterbottle. "You always so forward when meeting new people, or are you just highly strung thanks to this whole "soulmate" business?" |

I am Willow, what would your name be?" She said as she extended her hand for a handshake. "Ship..." Rin looked at Willow confused, before taking her hand in his and giving it a weak, noodley shake. When the two broke free he then looked down at his hand and blinked, staring at it. Such a behavior would normally be considered odd, and Rin knew this, however the man could not help but wonder. If he were to believe the information in the letter sent to him, one of the people in this room could very well be his soulmate. For all he knew he could have just shaken hands with them. Though... Rin had a preference for men. He was probably overthinking it. A shrill cooing then broke Rin from his thoughts, he looked up. The ferret snapped at the wrestler and turned around in it's cage, lying down with it's face to the back wall and it's fluffy white rump to the cage door. It was obviously not in a very sociable mood. Rin had no clue of how he should react to the costumed sir before him. Unlike the previous stranger, he at least fit the first criteria of being male, though wallflower Rin was immediately put off by how outgoing he was. He gave a nervous wave, a dumbfounded expression on his face. |

"Perhaps I offered the water to the wrong person. Alti may be thirsty, but you're fucking dehydrated!" Aberdeen chuckled again. Aberdeen waved slightly to Maicy. "Welcome to Thirst Fest 2016, Maicy. Starring Alti and Cyrus" They motioned to the two men, respectively. This whole day was so incredibly off. They had known this experiment would be odd, but no where near this level of sheer absurdity. Aberdeen scratched the back of their neck, making sure their bandana was still securely in place. "So, does anyone know when the actual project is supposed to begin? Or where we're staying. Or anything else other than 'we have a soulmate in the country?' " |

Maicy snorted, trying her best not to laugh too hard. She did, however, chuckle.
"Oh man, I'm so glad I was not drinking my orange soda when you said that, haha!"
After chuckling, Maicy drink more of her orange soda.
Maicy shrugged
"Beats me. I kinda just got here. Hopefully somebody will tell us soon of what will happen soon."
She looked at Alti, Cyrus, and Ortus
"How about you guys? Do you know what's gonna happen-?"
"Well, that pretty much answer my question for one person here." She thought to herself.

"We're the people running this, the head honchos, the bosses, the masterminds!!" chimed a tall woman with pink hair.. A smaller girl waved politely. "This is Tyreithillis, and I'm Elenara. If you have any questions about the experiments, do not hesitate to ask us." Vale raised his hands high above his head before descending into the splits. "Finally! The masters of love have arrived!" He brought his legs back in and spun around on his back before popping back up onto his feet. He bowed incredibly low and extended an arm. "I'm honored to meet both of. Truly, you're doing the work of gods!" |

"We're the people running this, the head honchos, the bosses, the masterminds!!" chimed a tall woman with pink hair.. A smaller girl waved politely. "This is Tyreithillis, and I'm Elenara. If you have any questions about the experiments, do not hesitate to ask us." Aberdeen turned to see the two scientists who were conducting the experiment finally upon them. This relieved them a bit, as this meant they didn't have to stand in an airport any longer. But that was the least of their worries. What they really wanted to know were quite a few things. "Alright, cool. I got quite a few questions. Lesser ones like where are we staying? Are you paying to accommodate us? How long will the project take? Are we getting paid for this?" They stopped for a moment, now that the simpler questions were out of the way. "And I have two more, rather important, questions. First one being, you said that your satelites picked up that we have a soulmate in the country. How are we even sure our soul mate showed up? And second, should we have felt some sort of attraction to our soul mate by now? Cuz if so." They pointed their thumbs to the two men standing behind them. "These two guys are one of my soul mates. Or both. I mean, I'm down for a little 'threes company' type deal."  |

Cyrus couldn't fool him. Alti knew of the effect he had on people. "I think the idea of finding a soulmate is pretty..... interesting." He then brought his attention over to Aberdeen, his giggling getting louder as the joke progressed. "Perhaps I offered the water to the wrong person. He gave a low chuckle, stepping toward the pair, but still behind the smallest one of their little group. The little one had already seemed to have a few questions of their own, some of which pleased Alti, and others giving him a disturbing amount of excitement. Once their little barrage of questions ceased, he felt the need to still say his, even if all it would do was add onto Aberdeen's previous statements. "Yeah....." he added. " Does the 'experiment' take kindly to 'alternate' suggestions, cuz' I wouldn't a little group pairing either~~~" |

Aberdeen was taken off guard by the sudden snatching of the water, seeing one of the scientist they had eyed gulping it down, face as red as a cherry. Starring Alti and Cyrus" "It's been a while," he muttered snappily in response, adjusting his collar and clearing his throat, his cheeks still a bright red hue as another person, Maicy, joined in on the spectacle. As the others began to ask the important questions, his brain immediately went back to the reason he came here in the first place. Downing the rest of the water bottle, he glanced around at the others as they started firing off the more intriguing questions, the heat finally starting to leave his face. "See, that's what we're here for." Two women, both seemingly in their thirties had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, both bearing big grins. "We're the people running this, the head honchos, the bosses, the masterminds!!" chimed a tall woman with pink hair.. A smaller girl waved politely. "This is Tyreithillis, and I'm Elenara. If you have any questions about the experiments, do not hesitate to ask us." "Alright, cool. I got quite a few questions. Lesser ones like where are we staying? Are you paying to accommodate us? "I've got a couple questions for you ladies as well," he added after Aberdeem had finished their first round of simpler questioning, immediately ramping it up as he took the questioning in a different direction. "I'm pretty curious about the scientific process behind this experiment. So tell me, how does this 'satellite' work?" He stared at the one that introduced herself as Tyreithi-something as he started his own line of inquiry. "The idea of a soulmate is not something concrete or proven. In fact I'd say a lot of people would say it's absolute bullshit. So. How the hell did a 'satellite'," he emphasized with a rather liberal use of air quotes, "pick up on some sort of abstract, fictional construct like a soulmate? " A wry smirk grew across his lips. "Or did you just dig for info online and send out random letters across the country because you wanted everyone to be as 'happy' as you two?" . "And I have two more, rather important, questions. First one being, you said that your satelites picked up that we have a soulmate in the country. How are we even sure our soul mate showed up? And second, should we have felt some sort of attraction to our soul mate by now? Cuz if so." They pointed their thumbs to the two men standing behind them. "These two guys are one of my soul mates. Or both. I mean, I'm down for a little 'threes company' type deal." "Yeah....." he added. "Does the 'experiment' take kindly to 'alternate' suggestions, cuz' I wouldn't a little group pairing either~~~" Cyrus froze for a moment, the shit eating smirk stretched across his face faltering momentarily as it now competed with the flustered expression that had been there previously. Frankly, he'd barely considered the possibility of actually being matched up with someone, much less with multiple people. This was not what he expected to happen. He paused for a moment, smacking the empty water bottle against his hand a couple of times as he tried to maintain composure. First things first, he wanted answers. Yeah. How the hell was this even going to work? He shot a glance at the other two contestants before staring back towards the two love-sick project runners, the so called 'scientists', waiting for the responses he hoped they'd give. |

'Are you the matchmakers?' Sami jumped up to them. 'Sami wants to know! Sami's name is Sami!'
Sami had just sped off so quickly, Robb'in rolled off her shoulder and hastily flapped over. He was not used to flying since he'd joined forces with her.
'Can you wait for one second?!' he squawked, ruffling his feathers. He perched closer to the scientists. 'I wasn't expecting myself to be here, but would you mind refraining from saying it's an experiment around her? She's convinced herself otherwise.'
The green girl raised her hand to make an announcement, 'Sami has requirements for Sami's soulmate!'
'NUMBER ONE, Sami's soulmate must love birds!'
'NUMBER TWO, Sami's soulmate must love helping birds!'
'NUMBER THREE, Sami's soulmate must love protecting birds!'
She raised her other hand, 'If Sami's soulmate is like that, Sami has no complaints!'
