Bracelets for the soul

Aberdeen was up bright and early, having had trouble sleeping due to the events that transpired the night before. They awoke to a room filled with lime green smoke as they rushed towards the toilet, puking into it from pure stress. The smoke returned to its owner as they picked themself off the ground, heart beating a million miles a minute. That was a dream, right? Heavy surely messaged them, right? They just blacked out during the fight, right!? The fighter grabbed their phone, with no new messages but a new email. As the fighter opened the app, the email was merely junk mail.

Aberdeen dropped their phone into the bedding-filled bath tub as they sat on the rim. They really did it...Not only Heavy, but...all those..other... Aberdeen began to feel sick again, but got a hold of themself. They spent a good half an hour sitting in the bathroom in utter silence before their aura changed back to its normal blue color. A newfound tranquility washing over them. That was it. No more fighting. No more illegal gambling. No more ab-

A shampoo bottle fell over which caused Aberdeen's head to erupt into a pillar of white smoke as they shot out of their seat. They decided it was best to get ready for the day, and so they began with their daily routine of putting their head on. While it would take some time to get used to, they did sorta like the lavender. And hopefully their soulmate would too.

Aberdeen undressed in the bathroom, only to realize they hadn't moved their suitcase last night. They sighed a bit in annoyance as they walked out of the bathroom, realizing they hadn't locked it the night before, and simply trotted into the main room where they began rummaging through their suitcase. They pulled on a large, turtleneck sweater when a letter slipped under their door. A lazy day...

"Fuck it." Aberdeen shrugged as they tied their bandana around their face, threw on a pair of socks and closed the suitcase. "No pants today, I guess." Their sweater was long enough for their liking. Aberdeen walked down to the lobby and into a little shop built into the hotel. A tiny convenience store. They bought two orange sodas and began walking back upstairs. When they arrived at their room, Maicy had still been asleep. They placed the two sodas on the table in between the beds and waited for her to wake up.

Aberdeen chuckled a bit at the sleepy woman, and turned to face her. "Yeah, I did, heheh..." They giggled, feeling their aura change pink beneath the fake head. "You said you liked lavender, and I was a pretty lousy date last night, sooooo I thought I'd do something nice for you!" They beamed before grabbing the letter that slipped under the door. 

"Oh yeah, the scientists said today is gonna be a lazy day. Sooooo we can pretty much do whatever we want. That being said..." They picked up an orange soda and handed it to the girl "What do you wanna do today?" They spoke, cheerily as they scratched at their legs. They weren't used to showing this much skin, but it wasn't too bad.

Maicy smiled. While Maicy understood that Aberdeen had to stop whatever fight that was happening (which she began to question why the fuck are there peope fighting at date night.), she does appreciate the sentiment.


"Hmm, that is a good question" Maicy said as she gently grabbed the soda that Aberdeen handed to her.

She thought about it.

"Up until recent years, I don't usually have that much free time, especially during my teen years. Whenever I do have free time, I usually like to have karaoke. But I know that it's a little too early for that, hehehe. "

Maicy chuckled.

"I will say that during my recent years, I had time to go to the movies. I've seen some good, some bad, and some I find questionable."

Maicy laughed a bit and drank a bit the the orange soda.

"How about you? What would you like to do since it is a free day?"

"Ugh...."

Alti held his arm over his stomach as he sat up, a low growl filling the silence in the room. It was early in the morning, the sunlight spilling through the windows as the world began their day. He had become so preoccupied with the excitement that came along with last night's events that it had completely slipped his mind that he hadn't eaten a thing since yesterday, and it was really beginning to get to him. Despite his abnormal tolerance for pain, hunger still bothered him. He couldn't stand to ignore it any longer. It didn't really help that the outfit he chose to sleep in was skintight, either. Alti grimaced as he slowly got out of bed and to the door, being careful not to disturb his soulmate. A note was left. Alti gave a disgruntled sigh as he forced himself to bend over to pick it up. "A... lazy day?" he inquired, shrugging and placing the note on Cyrus' nightstand. "Ehh, I'm too hungry to relax...." 

Alti turned back to the door, struggling to move forward. Mobility was already hard enough with his stomach clawing itself to pieces; he didn't need the extra restrictions. It was a "free" day, after all, and the time for sleepwear had already passed. Without a second thought, the man raked at the air and looked for something more comfortable in his collection. As much as he liked what he currently had on, now just wasn't the time to flaunt it. One could even say it was inappropriate, but he'd never be the one to admit to that. He changed in a matter of minutes and immediately felt more comfortable moving. The outfit was still pretty tight, but at least it wasn't squeezing his already-suffering stomach. Another growl sounded as he made his way out the door in search for food.

Vale had been awake for awhile at this point, rolled over on the side of his bed and staring at the phone he'd retrieved from the drawer in the middle of the night. The damn thing wouldn't turn off, and he didn't want to risk pressuring it's true owner by breaking it again. It didn't have a removable battery and appeared to be solar powered. Perhaps leaving it in the drawer until it died? 

No, no. That was stupid. They wanted him to keep it on him, that much was obvious. But what the hell for? More petty threats? He sighed in frustration but quickly pretended to be asleep when Alraada got up. He set up a lock screen on the phone when he heard the shower turn on. At the very least he didn't want to risk anyone snooping around in his personal affairs...even if they were being dragged into them.

When Alraada came out, he slid the phone under his pillow before making an exaggerated yawning noise and getting out of bed. "Done with the shower? Looks like it's my turn!" He said cheerily. "This will take...awhile. Sorry." He looked at the letter before going inside, a little nervous about a full day of nothing.

He grabbed his bag before vanishing into the bathroom, locking the door for good measure. She'd seen him now at his worst, but he still didn't feel comfortable enough to show his current condition. He took out the trash bin from under the sink, putting it in the tub and filling it up with hot water. He retrieved a sponge from his bag and tossed it in the bin, quickly removing his clothes and avoiding looking in the mirror. He sat down in the tub, sighing heavily before removing his limbs. They floated carefully over to the counter next to the sink. The sponge lifted out of the bin and the annoying thirty minute bath process began. Once finished, he made sure he was completely dry before reattaching his limbs and getting out of the tub, rinsing out the bin and placing it back under the sink. Pulling out a sweatshirt and brand new pair of sweatpants, he torn off the bottom half of the left leg out of habit before getting dressed.

He was just about to leave the bathroom when he realized it'd been awhile since he'd properly eaten, and he didn't want to try to eat another meal with Alraada. Muttering under his breath, he went back to his bag and pulled out something that looked similar to an iv solution bag, but with a powder inside. He filled the bag with water, mixed it carefully, and then opened up his sweatshirt. Removing a screwed on cap close to where his stomach was, he inserted the tube into the hole and laid against the wall, staring up at the ceiling impatiently as he held the bag to allow the yellow liquid to flow through. Another thirty minutes passed. He screwed the cap back in place, tossed the bag away, and finally exited the bathroom.

"Um, hey," He said sheepishly to Alraada. "Sorry, how long did that take, like an hour? Cleanliness is important!" He laughed before sitting down on her bed. "So, what do you want to do? Think they have a gym around here?" 

Aberdeen's aura turned a slight pink as the girl reemerged in her casual wear. "You look nice!" The chirped as they began texting Beckham in hopes of getting a tour around town. "I'd put pants on, but.....it's a lazy day so Imma stay lazy" They shrugged as they finished up typing up their message. 'Aberdeen: Hey, Beck! Me and the Mrs. were thinking about touring around town. Think you could show us around?' As they waited for a response, they grabbed the TV remote and turned it on. The show that popped on seemed to be a fashion show, piquing Aberdeen's interest somewhat.

Before they had much of a chance to get into the show, however, their focus was interrupted by their buzzing phone. 'Beckham: Uh, sorry. I'm kinda busy with work today! Architectures a biiiiiiiiiitch. I'll let you know if I have some spare time later! Again, sorry!' Aberdeen sighed in annoyance. "Uuuuuuh, we may have to rethink the whole tour thing. My buddy is busy today..." They turned to face Maicy. "Anything else you wanna do?"
