"I can," he mumbled flatly from behind the apple, a slight smirk appearing on his face as he eyed the hand that held the fruit. "But, uh, I'd watch those fingers there if I were you..." With one swift motion, Alti took a mighty chomp out of the apple- right down to the core- and laid his head back on the ground, nonchalantly grinding the chunk of fruit between his pointed teeth before swallowing it all in one gulp. "Wouldn't want me to chew those off, now." He smiled. Cyrus's eyes snapped open wide in shock as he watched Alti take a huge chunk out of the apple in one bite, the scientist blinking a couple of times as it registered just how sharp those teeth actually were. My soulmate is a shark, he gulped, setting the apple back down. "I'm sure they do far more good attached to my body than digesting in your stomach," he smirked, picking up one of the strawberries off the plate. Shooting his partner a glance out of the corner of his eye he slowly pushed it into his mouth, humming and licking his fingers before winking. "But better make sure you stay fed," he replied with a full mouth, grabbing the fork and gracelessly stabbing through another strawberry before holding it up to Alti's mouth, fingers now a safe 6 inches away from the apparently razor-lined mouth of his soulmate. "And better keep all appendages at a safe distance, right? No matter how much less fun it is," he grinned. |

Cr-chhhk. The elevator suddenly came to a halt. Vale looked up at the number above the door. It was still the previous floor, but they definitely should have been past that point. "Wonderful." He muttered, rubbing his temples. "Just what we needed." He looked back to the other three and held out his arms in false cheer. "Weeeeeee're stuck, everyone~!""... We're stuck.... We're stuck.... WE ARE STUCK!" Uh, yeah. Maicy is pissed. She took a deep breath. "Okay, no need to worry. Now is not the time for me to get worked up. We can just call 911 and asked if they can help us out of here." Maicy brought up her cellphone. "I'm going to try to call the for this emergency." She dialed the phone. However, after she did that, her phone died. "Oh shit....Oh shit! I forgot to charge my phone!" Maicy banger her head against the wall, only once. "I'm really sorry!! I should've charged my phone!!!" Maicy felt really awful and stupid. |

"Whoooa there," Vale said, lowering his arms back to his sides. "We're fine, Maicy. It's just a bit of a hassle, nothing to worry about." He beamed at her and gave her two thumbs up. "They usually have a button or something...ah! Here it is." He went to hit the emergency button on the elevator, but frowned when the button didn't move. He hit it again, harder, and it sparked on for a moment before dying again. "Damn," he he muttered. "It's alright! I've still got my phone." He pulled out the device from his pocket, unlocking the screen. The minute he did so however, the screen turned white and a small text box appeared. " ""Lollipops," Vale snapped the phone shut, his nerves returning full force now that is seemed this possibly wasn't an accident. "Um. Ok. Seems my phone isn't working as well. Anyone else here having trouble?" He hoped that wasn't the case. He tapped his foot impatiently, looking around the small cart for any signs it'd been messed with. It was unlikely they'd be able to tell from inside, but he was on edge.

"I didn't bring my phone." Aberdeen said plainly, gesturing to their pantslessness, wallet in hand. "We'll be here for a while, I guess." Aberdeen crossed their arms and leaned up against the wall. This was just a minor inconvenience in their eyes, nothing they were particularly worried about. Although, now they were wishing they took the stairs. "Just chill for a bit. The hotel will see their elevator isn't working and come get us. Or fix it. Whatever." They shrugged as they scratched the back of their head. |

"Yeah, you're right," Vale took a deep breath before sliding down onto the floor, his back to the wall. He closed his eye as his head thumped against the wall. "Just a mechanical error, nothing to worry about." The elevator suddenly swirled back to life, making a jarring about of mechanical noises that had Vale snapping his head back forward. "Oh, it's fixed." He breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." The elevator slowly started to rise and Vale's heart sank in an instant. "Um...weren't we going down?" He whispered. As if to answer him, the elevator came to a halt once more, now between floors 2 and 3. Vale was on his feet again. "What the hell was that?" He sputtered. "What's wrong with this stupid thing." |

Cyrus watched as Alti reciprocated his gesture with a wide grin, laughing and taking another piece of fruit before glancing up at the TV. "Oh, it's a super cheesy sci-fi called Shatter the Heavens," he replied, absentmindedly popping another piece of fruit into his mouth as he watched the scene play out. "The scientific accuracy of these movies is always garbage. I'm sure not even a millisecond of research was put into them, and they're probably geared towards a younger, dumber audience than me... But eh, it's kind of a guilty pleasure," he admitted with a light flush of embarrassment on his cheeks, his eyes searching the ground with a visible measure of shame before looking back up at his soulmate. "There's always something fun about aliens and adventure and spaceships blowing each other up," he chuckled, reaching up and grabbing the remote off the bed before sliding it over to him. "You can change it to something you like better if ya want," he hummed, reaching up to roll his water bottle to the edge of the bed with his fingertips. The scientist paused for a few moments as he recalled last night's conversation at the dinner table, looking curiously at Alti with an eyebrow raised. "Considering you weren't too sure what a 'date' was, I'm curious what types of media you've even seen." |

Aberdeen sighed in annoyance as the elevator began to rise before coming to a halt again. The bar-tender stepped into the center of the room, and while they weren't looking upwards, they pointed towards the roof of the cart. "There's a hatch we can climb out of. It's probably not that far of a climb. I'm sure its something we could all handle." Aberdeen turned to face Vale, as he was the tallest in the room. "Wanna give me a boost up?" "Y-Yeah, just a small climb probably..." Vale answered, his voice wavering a bit. He leaned down and put his hands out to make an area for Aberdeen to step onto. "Go ahead." He tried to figure out in his head how far up they might be, but that just proved to make him more uncertain about the whole thing so he quickly quieted the thoughts. |

He tried to figure out in his head how far up they might be, but that just proved to make him more uncertain about the whole thing so he quickly quieted the thoughts. Aberdeen stepped up onto Vale's hands, opened the hatch and climbed through. The top of the elevator was disgusting, but that was to be expected. The bar-tender immediately looked up, seeing the door to the third floor about five feet up. Aberdeen sighed, utterly annoyed with the entire situation. "Hey!!" They shouted down below. "It's not that high up. I'd say like....5 or 6 feet! I could probably climb up and pull the door open. Any of you want help up?" Aberdeen knelt down next to the hatch and extended a hand outward to whoever wanted to come up. |

Maicy has spent a good few moments, sulking next to the wall she banged her head against the wall. Not only she felt like she screwed up for not charging her but she embarrassed the hell out of herself in front of Aberdeen
Once she heard that, Maicy stopped sulking and looked up. She is willing to help out
"I'll help out."
Maicy reached up and tried to grab on to Aberdeen's hand. She jumped a bit to get a better reach.

"Getting scared..." she muttered to herself. She wondered if it would be smart to finish her sentence, but she was already halfway there. "Getting scared would only make the situation worse, and even what's going on even scarier, So don't worry about me..." Alraada looked up at vale inquisitively. "Are you scared? If you are, it'll be fine, don't worry." |

The elevator is gonna shake a bit!" As soon as they said that, the bar-tender jumped with all their might, grasping onto the ledge of the elevator door way. They then pulled themself up, heart racing even more as there was barely any foot space. "Jesus christ....gotta be careful..." Aberdeen muttered. The fighter shoved their fingers in between the closed doors and began pulling with all their might. The doors gave little resistance given Aberdeen's strength, and they were open in no time. They stepped forward a bit, now having room to stand and shouted down into the shaft. "AY! The doors are open! C'mon, lets go!!" |

"Vale Vinaigrette World Champion of Unorthodox Wrestling does not get scared. Pff. Pffffff." Vale let out a short scream before wrapping his arms completely around Alraada and holding onto her for dear life. Once Aberdeen's words reached him, he realized what he was doing and quickly released Alraada. "J-Just kidding around! Ho h-ho!" He sweated nervously as he backed into the opposite corner of the elevator. "I'll just wait for the hotel staff. Y-You go on ahead." |
