I went into it almost completely blind, and was not disappointed. It's definitely as hard as they say it is, but in a way that's what makes it so fun. You get addicted to the challenge, I s'pose.

Actually, Majora's Mask is what got me into Zelda, I found out about it through a soundtrack remix on YouTube and I branched out from there to looking at the other games.

Favorite game of all time would have to be Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door though. It was the first game I got when I moved to New York and the first game I beat on my own besides Earthbound on the SNES and I still even today love the characters and the art style and everything about it ;; I remember The Thousand Year Door! I think I still have it actually, though it may have gotten lost in a move. I never did fully beat it, despite getting pretty far.

I still have my PS2 but I don't have that many games for it. Then again I still have Steam. My games tend to be just dumb time passers rather than stuff I usually invest my energy in. My favourite game is Portal but I also like playing Minecraft and other games. I also just waste time playing things like Audiosurf or rhythm games if I'm bored.

I'm a big Nintendo fan! I love to play Pokemon, Kirby and Animal Crossing. My favourite console is my pink 3DS! I also like to play MMORPG, like Maple Story and I also like playing Otome games!

I love fighting games and animal crossing (odd combination...no?) By fighting games I mean like Tekken series, Mortal Kombat, or the Naruto games, or even beat-em-up games like Wolverine Origins on X-box 360. Idk just action really appeals to me and I wish to one day be able to take some sort of combat class. (I already take a strength class, as in I lift weights a lot. I just hope to one day be able to use the muscles I gain to my ultimate advantage) as for my favorite system... I have never owned a Ps3 nor will I probably own a Ps4, but I loved Ps2. I also love the X-box 360. I have never really been a huge nintendo fan, for I can only beat ONE game on nintendo (aladdin), so whenever I play a wii or anything related... I just don't really like it.

Oh man, that reminds me! I forgot about my all time favorite game. Unreal Tournament from the Dreamcast! One of the first games I played, still my top favorite today. (Quake Arena was pre good too)

I didn't know Unreal Tournament was even released for the Dreamcast. o.o I've always associated that game with PC, since that's where it was biggest. Speaking of Unreal, I thoroughly enjoyed the Gears of War series. Well, the first three. I'm not up to date anymore.

Speaking of Unreal, I thoroughly enjoyed the Gears of War series. Well, the first three. I'm not up to date anymore. Unreal Tournament 99 has a fairly odd port history. I'd like to also state that I've only played the pc release so this knowledge is all secondhand. Unreal Tournament was first ported to the ps2 in 2000, from what I hear this isn't that great of a port (you could only play on 11 maps in multiplayer), this version also had no online functionality as the ps2 didn't really support that until a few years later. Now the Dreamcast port on the other hand seems to benefit from developers being more familiar with it. It does/did have support for online play and I believe it restored most of the original levels with some graphical downgrades. It also oddly came out after the ps2 version but that seems to have benefited it. As far as I know neither version has the game of the year content. Of course none of this really matters anymore because the PC version is vastly superior in just about every way, runs on anything put out these days and also obtained fairly cheaply via Steam or GOG.

not u - OMG ANOTHER SUIKODEN FAN *vibrates* Have you ever played IV, Tactics, or V? I beat these three, now I just need to get my hands on I, II, and III so I can beat them all! I'm trying to play them in chronological order if you couldn't tell XD Though Tactics is kinda... well it starts off before IV, but then the majority takes place after, so I just played it after and considered the beginning a flashback. XD MOTHER... WOW. It's been so long, but that game is so full of sass I love it. Ah man nostalgia hitting me, remembering the days of SNES... I'm sure you'd like Final Fantasy at least up through X. After that it's... ehhh. :s I never got to truly play Fire Emblem either, but have you ever played like... Breath of Fire? I remember it was ok but I liked FF better. OH BUT LETS NOT FORGET CHRONO TRIGGER. Please tell me you've experienced that beautiful game. ;A; I also liked the Xenosaga games, they had the good JRPG feel but it was future/scifi feel. Much different than the medieval settings but still pretty nice, even if the second one kinda dropped in quality.... @kisaka -- HAHA I have the (dot)Hack game but I only have the first one I could never find the other three XD! Man though, good times. Ahh man Zelda... I spent more time than I should playing on the ocarina... XD

Wow, I remember Breath of Fire. One of the few games of that type that I played to completion. I finished Chrono Trigger as well, but only once. This was all back when I was into that stuff, though. I prefer more fast paced games now, and I definitely try to avoid anything with especially systematic combat. I played a lot of the original Final Fantasy games and just couldn't see them through. I also never finished Secret of Mana, even though I really liked it. Maybe some day. Oh, and something called Robotrek. That one was pretty cool.

Nuciferyne Ahh no omg I haven't played IV, V or Tactics haha! I'm in the opposite situation I've played I, II, and III but haven't gone any further because I've heard mixed reviews from a lot of classic Suikoden fans about the later ones haha! (I'm assuming they got used to Suikoden I, II, and III being super closely tied together, they literally occur within a few years of each other and have tons of recurring characters XD) Suikoden II is by far my favorite though, but Suikoden III has an extra chapter where you can play from as the antagonist which is really interesting imo. Omg ikr!? The freaking SASS in Earthbound especially lmaooo!! Shigesato Itoi is the sassiest mofo to ever have created a game. And I remember playing Mother 1 as a kid and how freaking difficult it was in comparison to Earthbound ahahahaa. "Wow Earthbound was rly great I should try the predecessor!! .. oh..." I haven't played Chrono Trigger though omfg I've heard about it and how it's really good but I never got around to it @@ Evan Omg I almost forgot about Secret of Mana and the whole Seiken Densetsu series. The only one that I ever played myself was Legend of Mana though. That was my first ever PS1 game haha (I was a Nintendo child)

I don't know if Majora's Mask was best. It was certainly good, but I feel like A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time were a little better. EDIT: not u If there's one thing you need to do, it's play Final Fantasy Tactics. Either the Original version of War of the Lions. War of the Lions features a lot of over all improvements to localization and adds some content, but is PSP only, where as the original was PS1 and ported over to PS3. You're not just missing out on a game, you're missing out on an experience.

My favorite game would be Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I will forever view that game through nostalgia goggles so it's not likely that I will ever replace it as my number 1. (つ◕w◕C) But, the Mass Effect series and Majora's Mask are a close second for me. Hmm, there's also Harvest Moon / Rune Factory. Ooh oh, and the Phoenix Wright games! Far Cry 3 was excellent! Pokemon is also one of my long time faves. I've played Tales of Symphonia five times through. Baten Kaitos and it's prequel deserve much more love! Sonic games (the older ones)! Spyro the Dragon was my first game on the PS1, *sniffles*. I've lost count how many time I've played it and it's sequels. The Fire Emblem games are great too!
...If you ask me which games are my favorites I'm going to go on forever.
*cough* Ghost Trick & 999 on DS. Skyrim. Baldur's Gate. Pikmin. Kingdom Hearts. Super Smash Bros. 64, GC, & Brawl. *cough*
I haven't even gotten to the Visual Novels yet (one of my favorite type of games)...but I'll stop here. x)
Edit: I've played a couple of the Suikoden games on my PS2 a long time ago but I forgot which ones. I loved them to bits. I've always wanted to get another Playstation (mine broke) and play them again. Maybe you can tell me which one my favorite was? I can't really remember much except that you're exiled in the beginning of the game and there were some really hard ship battles. I guess it was one of the earlier ones since it was a long time ago.
Edit 2: Oh! How could I forget the Drakengard games? I still have the beautiful OST.
