Even in the severity of the situation, Kaine cracked a sly grin to himself as the seabird reluctantly took a knee and agreed to the scheme. Without hesitation, he rested his torso against the man's back, hastily attaching himself as to not waste time. His head swayed behind him to glance at Katy, outstretched a hand as he did so, "Katy, I'm going to carry you behind us, though I need to adjust your weight first," his palm reached for the lanky figure, "It won't hurt. Hurry." As soon as the trembling brunette would take hold of Kaine's hand, he would focus his energy into the man's flesh as to reduce the restraints that weighed on him, and then completely absorb himself in shortening the distance between them with all of his strength. As long as he let nothing deter him and focus simply on pulling Katy towards him, then it should work for the most part. He'd just have to assure that he didn't fall behind too far so that he was out of Kaine's range. There was a high chance this would all result in a massive headache later on, but if they escaped safely then the cost of his comfort for would be worth it in the end.

There was a high chance this would all result in a massive headache later on, but if they escaped safely then the cost of his comfort for would be worth it in the end. Without any warning, Drei's skin had suddenly changed color and texture, Katy's eyes widening in surprise. Was he really watching someone's power in action? It seemed almost unreal... like an illusion... Yet here the blonde was, ripping his computer apart as if it were made of fabric instead of the metal and plastic bits. Drei didn't seem to struggle at all, which left the brunette all the more stunned. Yet, at the same time he felt a feeling of anguish fall over him at the sight of his beloved computer, ripped to shreds. Jumping when his dismantled laptop was forced into his arms, Katy's bottom lip quivered at the sight. He couldn't even muster tears at this point, more so in shock and fear. If Drei could do that to his computer... God could only imagine what he could do to someone like him! Ripped apart and dead in an instant, he was sure! Turning to face Kaine, urgency set on his facial features, Katy had felt another nauseating wave of fear. They had to move. And fast.
"G-guys, we have to-"
The two had seemed to already have everything figured out as to how they were going to get out of there, and as Katy listened up, it was nothing he would've ever thought of. The brunette didn't even quite understand how they were going to make this work, either... He didn't even know where Kaine's powers were set in. "I-I'll try?" Katy wasn't sure what he meant by adjust his weight, but he took his hand regardless and shook slightly, other hand gripping his destroyed laptop tightly. Whatever it was they were planning, they needed to move. "Guys... T-time is running out-" Katy pleaded, yet another wave coming over him. His being was filled with more and more fear, as if a flood gate had just let loose in his mind.

As Katy's hand trembled in his own, Kaine immediately sent a surge of energy through his body into the man's, and without warning he would feel himself begin to feel lighter...
Though just as quickly the feeling would overcome him, so would an invisible force push him forwards towards Kaine's own body as he gripped his palm tightly without restraint. He wasn't about to release the brunette's arm until they were away safely. "Go," he whispered to the blonde as the unseen arm propelled Katy forward without hesitation. His attention was no longer fixated on Drei so much as the quivering man that trailed behind as he seemed to stare at Katy unblinking. They were going to hightail their way out of the area, and then hopefully he could stop crying so much.

"...G-guys...l-look..." she stammered, her expression shifting to one of true fear. All she could do now was wait for the rest of the gang to come around to see her screen. Gil got off the bed and wandered over to Charlie, lips pulled in a tight line. "What is it Major? What did you find?" As he got closer, he could see that Charlie had a Canadian website pulled up on her laptop, the news header causing him to stop in his tracks, staring at the webpage like it had just done several backflips. Get it. because websites can't do backflips... He quickly took out his wallet, opened it, and pulled out a rectangular piece of paper. To the human eye, it would appear as a blank page with the seal of the US government and a time stamp on it. Totally inconspicuous, nothing significant about it. But there was more to it than it seemed. Gil's sister, Farah, had a son who had the ability to manipulate objects - though it was limited only to paper. It was similar to how Kaine said his ability operated, but instead of changing the texture of skin, it changed the texture of objects. He called this ability "Texture Surprise". Farah had been secretly sending letters to Gil with their contents hidden, only choosing to reveal themselves at certain times. She didn't say how, but Gil always assumed that her son could also set time conditions for when the ability would be dispelled. Gil compared it to a Jack in the Box in his mind's eye. If something were to happen to her and her child, the effects of the powers would cease to exist regardless of whether the time was not up, revealing what was originally on the paper. Looking at the paper, it was no longer blank. You have to find our brother. Love you."Those bastards!" Gil said, gritting his teeth, clutching the paper tightly in his hand. "Jason, we have to stop them. They can't get away with this!" Gil said, looking Jason in his eyes with absolute conviction. Gil had always felt that his reason for helping the Chipless was weak. Yeah, the government tried to kill him, but he could move past that. But first his parents, then his brother, and now his sister??? He was so... mad. Gil would tear the government down by himself right at this very moment - or at least die trying - if he weren't using his powers to remain calm.

With Gil's reaction, Elrod did not want to look. He knew he had to anyway. When he did, all he could do was stare at the screen numbly. He wasn't surprised. He knew it was true, he never hoped that it wasn't so because there was no way around it. That damn Alicia and her fancy new ways of living. Brainwashing, cutting the country off, it was hell and everyone in the room knew it. That's why they gathered there. To rid the world of the monster that is Alicia.
"You're right Gil," Elrod whispered to the room's inhabitants. "We can't let things go on this way," with a glint of new courage in his eye, for that's what the news had done to him, he looked straight ahead with a completely serious and official air.
"We have to stop this madness," He finished- quietly, yet sure of his words.

On command, Drei took a deep breath through his nose and as if in a 100 meter dash, took off in full sprint down the block. Luckily most pedestrian traffic had thinned out thanks to the previous earthquake, the blonde's sprinting reaching well over 20 miles per hour and showing off just why he'd gained the national-level accolades he had. He knew he would be unable to keep up the speed that suited a short burst of sprint for the entire way, but it would at least put some distance between them and... whatever it was that had been tailing them. His speed eventually slowed by a few miles per hour, now remaining steady as he weaved his way up the numerical blocks. Thankfully it had been simple and mindless enough to navigate back through the numbered grid that was New York. With most of the energy flowing dedicated to keeping his core in check and his legs moving, it was as though his brain had gone into autopilot with one single goal: get them back to the apartment.

Katy blinked, not sure what to expect of this kind of experience. Every so slightly he felt lightheaded... no... light... all over. His body felt as light as air... Like he was a feather... Like he'd just spent a month in Dr. Brief's Gravity Machine and finally stepped outside of it to regular earth gravity. His body shifted towards Kaine and the grip made the brunette a little nervous. So this was his power? How strange and interesting... If Katy had a free hand, he'd pinch himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming. However, the broken pieces of metal and plastic sticking into his arm and chest from the laptop would have to make do. Nope. Not dreaming. Another wave hit Katy, but before he could speak up against his fears once more, Drei had launched out of the house faster than he'd ever imagine.
Almost immediately after they had left the house, an ear piercing whine sounded directly behind them, followed with an explosion. Katy's house... had exploded. Katy spun his head around at the sound, eyes widening at the sight. There was clearly some sort of bomb planted in the area of his home, and now a black cloud filled the sky above them, his house in ruins and the pieces remaining on fire. The nearby houses also suffered damage, but nothing compared to the destruction that used to be Katy's home. "Oh my God..." Katy's voice cracked, more whimpering spilling out of his lips and more tears sliding down his cheeks. He gulped it away as soon as he could before looking ahead of him, at the ever focused Kaine. No. He couldn't cry now. He had to be strong, for goodness sake!
That could've been them. They could've been the ones in the pile of burning wood and carpet. Splattered to pieces... None of them would've been able to alert the others... They would've had to find out from the news itself... IF the government let it out to the public. This thought was both terrifying... and yet, Katy felt a jolt of confidence enter his body. He was right! He had a terrible terrible feeling and he knew they had to leave soon or else... something bad would happen. He felt it, the same way he'd felt about the nuking... He wasn't useless after all! At least.. not this time... He hoped that he was wrong about Canada... but he guessed he'd just figure out when they got there.
Watching ahead in amazement at Drei's speed, he still couldn't wrap his mind around it. These people... they were amazing... With power like this... No doubt they could really turn this country around!
Before long at all, even with Drei's speed slowing, they arrived at the apartment building. Slowly, the brunette regained his weight, looking to Kaine. His feet no longer felt like butterflies, but like actual feet. He was a little disappointed if he was being honest. He liked being light on his feet D: (as if he wasn't light enough tho, tbh...) Kaine let go and that's when Katy turned his attention on Drei as they entered the building. "Drei... you're amazing..." Katy spoke in awe as they climbed the stairs from the inside of the building. The adrenaline rush, and also the feeling of relief of not being dead... Katy felt in top moods! That is, until he looked down at his laptop... They hadn't done anything with it just yet... But with it being as smashed up as it was, it's not like it mattered to much at that point. Katy kind of wanted to thank Drei and Kaine some more, but felt it was better if they settled things with the whole Canadian incident before celebrating just yet... But who knows? Maybe everyone was celebrating inside?
Jason couldn't believe what he was seeing. Canada was absolutely hit. In Toronto no less! Ottawa was also in shambles... The amount of people that probably died... He squinted closer to the computer screen, trying to look for some sort of death count... But the guesses people were making were astronomical. This could not have possibly happened... Was it America that did it? Was it really... her who did it? Jason shook at the thought. They were up against something truly terrifying. Gil pulled him out of his thoughts as he'd growled in anger. This was a rare sight... Gil, actually not happy? He kind of like the change in his position. It only made Jason that much more sure that he was fit for their team. Smiling with his eyebrows lowered, he put a hand on Gil's shoulder. "We won't let them get away with this. That's what we're here for. We will make this right. You, me, everyone." Jason spoke with confidence, looking to Elrod who had also joined their sides. "Once the guys get back... we'll formulate a plan... I have an idea, but I'll need everyone's input before-"
Katy took out his key, barely missing dropping it again, and stuck it in the keyhole, turning it and walking into the room. Everyone was crowded around Charlie and her computer. Katy felt a surge of panic hit him, gripping his laptop tightly. "H-hey... Is everything okay...?" Katy spoke, his knees shaking a little. He hoped no one yelled at him this time, quickly moving from just inside the room, to the side of the wall, gripping the broken piece of technology tightly. Oh God, he'd have to tell them about what happened back there too... What if they yelled at him for that too? Suddenly all the confidence he'd earned was starting to fall apart again. Maybe he should just be quiet and let everyone else handle this... He let his back slide against the wall, sitting down on the floor without another word now.

Everything became a blur before Kaine's vision minus the brunette's expression of terror that met his eyes. The sound of the wind was overwhelmed by a deafening eruption of noise that pierced his eardrums. However, his expression stayed still as he focused on the man's face before him. No matter what happened, he needed to remain an unwavering force until they retreated safely. He would ignore the uproar that trailed behind them and would not give heed to those that would try to interfere. Drei's speed was up to par, and he would have to divert all of his power into the task at hand to keep up with such velocity. Luckily he would only have to keep it up for a moment's time, and as they drew nearer the blonde steadied his feet to a more manageable pace. The weight that forced itself on Kaine's mind lessened as his weakened his power's grip on the man, before ultimately releasing him from his grasp. As their hands parted, Kaine allowed the weight to flow back into Katy once more. His palm reached for his head as he removed himself from Drei's back, rubbing his own temple as he performed such.
His sight refocused over a few seconds as Kaine stood still, silently breathing in and out as he took in the situation before them. The wide eyes and dropped jaws among the members were a grim indication. Whatever murky predicament they just landed in; it wasn't going to be a nice explanation just by the looks on their faces. However, before saying anything Kaine took to the nearest seat, allowing himself another breather before prepping himself to speak. "The-" a shock of stinging pain struck his brain upon parting his lips, and he immediately sought to rest his head against his hand. "The laptop was probably bugged. It was turned on upon arrival," he sighed, "Katy sensed danger, so we fled after dismantling it. There was a noise-" his head lowered, before shaking it, "A really loud one. Though I couldn't focus on it. They'd have to tell you what it was. Did you guys find anything while we were out?" At last, his gaze shifted upwards to the group, bracing himself for their reply.

Elrod had felt sure that he was ready to help the others, and Jason's speech made him feel even stronger. He then felt another vibration, smaller than earlier, but it was just as jarring to the small boy as if a balloon had popped nearby. It scared him, but it didn't jar him out of his sturdily planted feet.
"What was that?" He asked, though he didn't think anyone else had noticed it. He certainly hadn't gotten an answer before noticing something was coming near them very quickly, and before he knew it there was a jingling of keys at the door. Someone was back, and he hoped it was all three of their companions.
It was Katy, that was good. He was, however, holding the remnants of a laptop in his arms, and that did not seem as good. Elrod did not answer the question but instead paid attention to the others that arrived. He could feel it was all three of them, and that certainly gave him some peace of mind.
Next came Kaine, which Elrod was relieved of. He only spent a very small amount of time with him, but he was very kind, and he would have hated if something were to happen to him. He didn't look so well, but he did confirm there was some sort of noise while they were out. Elrod was glad of the outside confirmation, though he would've liked to know what it was.
"C-Canada is..." Elrod began in a small voice. His earlier confidence was fading as more people entered the room, though it was less their coming and more of Elrod simply having too much time to think. He didn't want to say what happened aloud, and instead finished his mutterings in favor of someone like Jason or Gil to fully respond to them.

Drei had barely registered the sharp boom that cut through the air through the thick fog that had surrounded his brain. Keep moving. Get back to the apartment. Those were the only two commands that his brain dictated, the regulation of oxygen flow and muscle movement overriding any thought processes. His sister liked to joke and call this mode of hyperdriven autopilot 'Berserked', a term telling of their nerdy obsessions. Finally the three of them reached their goal, the fog slowly beginning to lift once Casanova climbed off his back, the blonde steadying himself against the wall once his energy flow returned to normal. Quietly, he walked into the room, settling down into another seat and hunching forward, the physical strain on his body most evident in his back muscles. With elbows planted on his legs, he moved his weight forward, trying to take some of the strain off his back without flat out lying down. While his cardio had mostly acclimated to running at man's top speeds thanks to his abuse of his abilities over the years, he certainly was not used to carrying an extra what, 200 pounds? on his back while doing so. Did you guys find anything while we were out?" Casanova thankfully took over the job of giving the details, although the report of the loud noise came as somewhat of a surprise to the blonde. He went to open his mouth to give his own report but-- No, the others would have more useful information to give than him. "C-Canada is..." Elrod began in a small voice. His earlier confidence was fading as more people entered the room, though it was less their coming and more of Elrod simply having too much time to think. He didn't want to say what happened aloud, and instead finished his mutterings in favor of someone like Jason to fully respond to them. Drei froze and looked up from his hunched position, glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose as he did. With a quick press of his index finger he popped them back up onto his face. Whatever news Elrod had for them, whatever they'd found while they were out, it certainly wasn't anything good. He silently waited for one of the others to elaborate. In a shitty society where the unchipped constantly lived in fear of the worst, he had a feeling that as usual the worst had happened.

The fact that Elrod and Jason agreed with him so strongly put a smile on his face. He knew that they only just met, but he honestly felt that since meeting them in person, they were his like family now. Yes. They were his family now.
Jason was cut off by the jingle of keys at the door, followed by the other members of their troupe returning from their mission.
Elrod couldn't seem to complete his sentence, so Gil opted to finish it for him. Placing a hand on his shoulder before stepping forward, Gil proceeded to tell Kaine and the others the news that they just uncovered.
"Major confirmed that the rumors of the bombing were correct. Toronto has been destroyed, and half of Ottawa as well."

Charlie sat motionless at her computer screen, taking in the affirmations of her group members for the cause. She seconded... or really fourthed the notion, but had nothing of substance to add to the conversation. Her awkward silence was interrupted by an almost inaudible noise, yet it seemed fairly foreboding, to say the least. She couldn't brush it off, especially after the supposed earthquake. She opened her mouth to ask about the noise when the rest of the crew returned safely, except for the laptop in Katy's hands.
The sucker was bugged, wasn't it?
Seeing the laptop in such a state made Charlie cringe silently, knowing that they screwed up. They better explain that one.
...And they explained that one. And it confirmed her worst fears. She'd have to show the group her screen soon if there was still a tracking device on the computer that they didn't bother to destroy. The hairs on Charlie's neck stood up even despite her turtleneck, half signalling to her computer screen. Thankfully, Gil saved the day.
Major nodded at Gil's explanation, finally feeling the need to configure the settings back to their original form. At least then, no one would bust into their house and suspect her computer. She then finally closed the windows on her browser and closed her laptop, putting it back in the bag and curling up on the couch. Her work was essentially done for the time being.

Turning to Elrod, he watched his expressions carefully. Shortly before the three had arrived, he'd heard something. Or maybe felt something... It was probably his powers at work once again is what Jason predicted. Not much later after that, the three had returned, looking as exhuasted as ever. That was too bad... The Laptop retreval mission was a failure after all... What a waste of time... The destroyed laptop looked a pity and Jason looked away from the shaking brunette who was unfortauntely named such a beautiful name as Katie. It didn't suit him. Jason then focused soley on any information the three had to offer, the information about Canada already in the back of his mind. It's not like they could do anything about it now. It was done. It changed nothing other than just really proved how crazy their leader was.
Kaine spoke up, offering some sort of information about their escape, but once the brunette realized he was the only one who actually saw the explosion... he had to say something! "My house!!" Katy yelled in the room, a little louder than he'd meant to. Biting his bottom lip after startling himself, the man shifted in his awkward position between the wall and the floor before speaking again, this time a bit quieter. "My house... it blew up. Th-that's what that sound was... It just... exploded... out of nowhere. Someone was expecting us... Th-they knew I'd come back for it, I guess and..." Katy tried his hardest not to cry, glaring daggers into the floor. "We could've been toast!"
Unfortunately, the man's sadness didn't stop there. Gil had spoken about the confirmed information they received, and the feeling of sadness enveloped the poor sap even tighter, Katy curling up in the fetal position, eyes covered by his knees. His trashed laptop was no longer in his arms. "I can't believe this... I can't..." It was gone... Just like that? It was just... gone? How could someone do this? What reason did she have? What RIGHT did she have!? This world they lived in was a nightmare and he hated every second of it.
The weak one was seemingly at his wit's end, mumbling and whimpering to himself. Jason felt a little pity for him... but only because he knew he wasn't mentally prepared for something like this. Katy wasn't strong. Nothing about him was strong or confident or even all that useful. Jason was disappointed. Over private messaging, he caused no harm. Sure, he wasn't any stronger, but he didn't fuck anything up. It would've been better if Katy hadn't shown up at the apartment after the nuke had been dropped. The fool put two of the group's members at risk and they weren't even able to save his information in the end. A waste of time. A huge waste of time. KatyKr00ger really was a huge threat the more and more he thought about it. Ignoring Katy's pathetic display, Jason walked up to Kaine and offered a sympathetic smile. "We have quite a lot on our hands don't we? You don't feel like backing out anytime soon, huh?" The redhead half-joked before turning to Megane-kun. "Either way, you guys look a little wiped... You should relax a little. We got the information to confirm what Katy said before... So we all need to relax and decide what we have to do next." Walking by Charlie, he pet her head slightly as if to say "Good Work", or at least that's how he hoped it came off...
Jason took a deep breath. Things were crazy. Really crazy right now. It was a little hard to take it all in... but with a cool mind, he organized his thoughts and thought out what to say. Taking a few steps back, he addressed the group by standing tall. It was time to get things on track. "Clearly, the mission was a failure. However, no one died. Barely, from the sounds of it, though..." Jason frowned a little, looking to the curled up Katy before back to the rest of them. "Luckily for us, communication about our base was strictly kept between Katy and I's cellphone, which I made sure to keep protected, so no one should know where we are." Jason frowned a little more. "Unless they'd managed to follow you three back... If that's the case, we're kind of in a pickle. Katy, undeniably, has put us all in a lot of danger by coming back here."
Katy flinched.
"If we are discovered to be hiding out here, we need to move... and fast. Where would we go? I don't know. But our first course of action has to be to keep ourselves safe. Right now I'm not sure we are at all... But once we secure that, we have to get on task." Jason looked down at the ground for a moment. "We can't keep hiding like this. We need information. About Alicia. The best way to do this is through internet means... and meeting this girl in person. We need to find out what it is what makes her have the power over the country like she does... Those answers have to be out there somewhere. And once we can reveal it to our world, we've practically already won. Unfortunately, if we're already a target because of our adventures... we may have to postpone all that..." Katy was a mistake. A huge mistake. Jason narrowed his eyes at his small body upon the floor. "Katy... what do you have to say for yourself?"
Katy flinched once more, his mind clouded with many thoughts. Jason was right. If things were halted... it was because of him. Dangit... He should've went by himself to go get his darned laptop. The tears came pouring once again and Katy couldn't do it anymore. Without a word, he'd slowly picked himself up off the floor and opened the door to the bathroom, closing it behind him. He sat on the floor in there, whimpering quietly to himself. He couldn't stand being stared at by all those people in that room.... Everyone was disappointed in him. Everyone hated him. He'd be better off dead.
Jason sighed, scratching the back of his head and ghosting his fingers over his piercings along his right ear. "Whatever. Does anyone have any ideas? Do you two know if anyone could've been tailing you when you headed back? Any strange people? Strange cars?" He had to bring this group together. If he didn't keep everyone focused, they'd all end up dead due to foolishness. "Gil? Do you have any ideas? For someone who just receieved some bad news, you're very collected. I'm interested if you have some revenge-filled ideas that would help?" The redhead chuckled slightly. They all had gone through a lot just now. You could tell by the whimpering that echoed in the room. And yet... no one left the room. At least, not yet.

The announcement took Kaine completely by surprised as his jaw dropped almost instantly. Seriously!? Whereas utter shock paralyzed his movements and ceased his busy mind as the silence overtook it. In the past, he had potentially put himself in endangering situations, but nothing where a bomb was used. It served as horrifying proof that Katy had attracted possibly the worst kind of company yet, and all because he made one foolish mistake. He hadn't known this rag-tag team of vigilantes for one day and already had they somehow managed to land themselves in trouble with the wrong crowd. What was worst of all was, Kaine's curiosity got the better of him and he decided to humor the poor self-acclaimed hotshots. To even think of entertaining himself with their drivel was a load of nonsense. Absolute balderdash.
Yet it was too late, as he already allowed himself to be entangled with their childish ambitions. He was paying the price of his mistake. From the beginning, he only thought it all as wishful thinking and had little faith in their endeavors to possibly put an end to the whole chipped fiasco. What good does removing the chips do anyway? Would anyone really be happier? He doubted it. However, he was guilty by association now, and couldn't exactly just erase his involvement with Katy's household. As his fingertips rubbed his temple in an agitated rise, Gil's voice interjected. You've got to be kidding me.
If the party that had just blown up Katy's house were an accomplice to the government; then they had only scraped the surface of what was about to come. Kaine slowly leaned back in his chair, his head tilted upwards to stare at the ceiling as to ignore the anxious sobs that filled the room. All the information was too much to take in with his head throbbing at a mile a minute. A country had been nearly decimated in a day, what was next to come? They were almost apart of casualties that taken place earlier. A case of cold-feet wouldn't be enough to back out at this point; he was already involved whether or not he liked it. As for relaxing, as much as he'd like to, he found his efforts futile as the ginger kept rambling on about their next course of action. Some headache relief would've been nice before moving on. Alas, Kaine's pupils remained gazing at the ceiling as his eyelids narrowed. They weakly shut themselves as he breathed in, trying to find a moment of peace before the next suggestion. However, Jason had begun drilling the brunette's with questions and cold facts, which resulted in more fitful cacophony from Katy's end. At least by the sound of it all, he excused himself to the restroom to continue his outburst there... "Nn, not that I know of. I used my powers to drag Katy along with Drei's speed. So I couldn't focus on anything else. We were moving pretty fast though, so they had to be able to keep up if so." A sigh escaped him as brought his hand over his forehead, as to try and cool it with the back.

Gil had to admit, Katy's constant stream of tears was beginning to make him cringe. Charlie's a child and she hasn't cried once since the meet up. Which, while we're on the topic, was today. What a terrible first impression to make. As far as Gil could tell, Katy wasn't very useful. But he was one of them. And although he had little knowledge on how his ability worked, it seemed as though he could somehow feel when bad things were going to happen. That was good for the team since it provided them with a sort of 'heads up' in case the government tried to pull something over them.
Jason had taken charge of the situation, laying the groundwork for future plans now that they were potentially on the government's radar, thanks to Katy's blunder. The pressure must have gotten to Katy, because he soon dragged himself into the bathroom. Gil felt he should at least go try to calm him down. Though if he was going to stay with them, something had to change.
Gil listened to Kaine's response, nodding slightly. "Mm... I don't think they followed. I'm not sure how fast Hero can run, but Sun would probably be able to tell whether or not anyone was approaching. And," Gil glanced towards the bathroom. "Katy would probably have a fit if he thought we were in danger at the moment. We should be safe for now."
"Collected?" Gil questioned. "That's the last thing I am. Honestly, the only reason I haven't booked a flight to wherever the hell Alicia is is thanks to my ability." he said, tapping his heart with his right index finger.
Gil tried to think of anything that could benefit them, but it was no use. "Ehehe... I'm... not the best at crafting detailed plans, Jay. But," he unraveled the piece of paper he had gotten from his sister, showing it to Jason and the others, "this tells me that I should find my brother. It's from my sister. The only problem is that... I haven't seen or heard from him since the government took him away."
