Hello everyone! I had something’s that I thought I would share so I figured I should make a thing for them. I’m still not very good yet, so any suggestions are welcome. 
Now, without further delay, here we go!
This was just a simple panning practice, nothing much I just wanted to see what I could do with it.
This was I frame-by-frame done in Photoshop. It’s one of the first I’ve ever done and I’m pretty happy with it.

I'm trying to teach myself after effects, so I tried to make a simple waving animation using it. I'm pretty happy with it for my first try! |

Okay, so I’ve been doing some thinking. I think I’m starting to have some doubts on the format of what is or was planned for my famine. After looking it over for some editing reasons I realized something, it is long. I mean really, really LONG. Like, longer than I’m comfortable doing a famine with.
So this got me thinking, is animation really the best format for it? If I took out the famine aspect and went with a more Homestuck or Ava’s Demon route (since I’d still like to keep some aspects of animation) it would take out a lot of the process for getting voice actors, music, and most animation. That time would of course go into others thing, such as bgs and the like. But a part of me is wondering if that might be the best option for it. Overall I just want to tell my story as best I can, and while considering my current abilities it isn’t much, but I still want to give it the best shot it has.

I had a similar issue to this with an idea that I called the "tales runner anime." The script was painfully difficult to work on for some reason. The story revolved mostly around some not-so-inspiring people which made it not as interesting as it could be (maybe this is the reason xD), and the realm was an online game which made it not as original as it could be. I showed the people the mostly complete script (they really liked it) but gave up on the idea since it just doesn't seem worth making into anything more than what it is. I sort of hyped up the idea too much by uploading the soundtrack and eyecatch...
My super lame advice: Don't do what I did. I think its good to recognize what your limits are and know what you would be capable of making (probably more than what I've made lol). If you can make your ideas into anything then that in itself is an accomplishment (Even if its just a story that you've written/typed). If you have previous experience, then you can use that as a reference/scale of what you would be capable of doing. Just make a little more progress than you did previously and you should be able to make it with about as much effort as you did last time.
Sadly, I myself don't know if I have a good scale of what I can do with flash animations yet. (I've never tried a flash animated series before and plan to make one sometime soonish @_@)
The webcomic like thing seems to be a good idea though. I say go for it!

I've been dabbling with Visual Novels and Comics, since animation takes so much time. I still have times where I feel like animating but they're far and few between.
However if you do something like a Visual Novel, you can animate a trailer, opening, ending, cutscenes, however much you want but it's still no where near as long. However, you have to learn the coding language, which isn't all that hard honestly.... just a bit tedious. Comics are obviously the easiest visual method, if you don't obsess over paneling and stuff like I do //sob

Sorry for any awkward sizing but I got some concept stuff to show. Now that summer for me is going on I can work a lot more, so here have some celebration fanime stuff! I was working on the puppet tools for it, but they went all wonky on me so I pulled up some concepts and worked for a little bit.  
It's like action magical girl stuff, sooo yeah. Just a small update I guess? |

In my dreams I would love all my stories to have beautiful frame-by-frame, fully animated fanime shows with a hundred episodes. ;w; It's hard when you have to choose between what you really want to do and what you are able to do at the time. >_< Your WIPs are great mermaiden.
