Augusta gave a laugh. "No, no, lunch hasn't started yet." she said with a slightly nervous laugh. She thought back to her first year when she was shown around, although, like Hyaku, she had broken away from her third year. "I'm supposed to show you around the school...I think. So I gotta like....show you all the clubs and classrooms and stuff." she spoke unsurely. She cared little for formalities and ceremonies like this, but something told her that this centipede wouldn't fully know her way around without any assistance. "So, whaddaya say?" she inquired, giving a grin. So they eat at scheduled times... We will keep this in mind.Hyaku tried to jog back her memory to what she was currently supposed to do. The auditorium, the library, and the sports grounds were what they were supposed to see. Choosing one at random, Hyaku told Augusta, "Orentear guy shows school. We see libarry." Now to complete the previous objective: examination.Hyaku didn't happen to know the layout of the school, so she relied entirely on Augusta knowing her way around.

"Sun Mirror Magic sounds lame. I'm sure my magic words would be prettier than that." Alice's attempt at snark was not to dismiss Juniper; instead it was a tactic to get her into the mindset to pull off the magic necessary for transformation. If she was not confident enough, the spell would falter. Now that Bianca was fueling her ego and Juniper was just as excited to see her transform, there was no way she could deny the two to such a spectacle that she did not even deem them worthy of. "Gather round, you curious lackeys, and you will bear witness to the first ever transformation of Alice!" She stood with her head high, looking down at Juniper, and while Bianca was taller than her, she could imagine the air-headed moron shrinking while she towered above them and everyone. While her confidence was flowing, she had to tap into her musical mastery. Transformation was an all new spell, and in order to perform a spell she had never performed before, it would require a bit of improvisation on her part. At no point could she fail this new melody that was being composed in her brain, or else the spell would fail to reach its results. After picturing what she wanted of the spell in her brain, Alice now had to translate that into finger position and the rapid movement of the bow across its strings. She inhaled smoothly, taking in what may have been the largest breath of her life, and she stood up straight. No slouching was allowed; she had to play with perfect posture. She shut her eyes to shut out the world, which separated herself from any external distraction. It was crucial that she get the spell right the first time around, or otherwise she would have wasted magic and time. There was still much more magic she needed to make if she had any hope of winning the challenge, and while she would rely on Juniper and Bianca to pick up the slack, there was no time like the present to practice transformation. As she focused her mind on the melody, running through it one last time, she took Aria Cadenza and placed it under her chin, looking down while she held the bow just centimeters above the strings. For five seconds, she played an elongated chord, running the bow all the way down. Three strong notes followed, going up the scale until she hit a rather high note. Alice took a heavy and quick breath before her fingers moved lightning fast across the strings. Her bow kept up with her fingers, and an allegro melody ran from high to low and back, scaling through octaves within milliseconds. The melody was strong and challenging, and it was almost as if Alice was asking for a fight through the frantic piece. The gem on the bow was glowing, but only faintly. Alice slowed the melody partway through, which allowed for more intricate patterns and subtle arpeggios. It was a beautiful bridge which led to an even faster chorus. Her heart was beating in her chest as her arms got close to tiring out. Normally, playing a violin like this would not have exhausted her, but the magic was exhausting her. When she finally ended with a surprisingly sweet chord, the gem glowed a bright white. Could this be it? When Alice noticed the shimmering white glow, she recognized that the glow was not green like normal. Maybe she charged the bow with more magic than what would be considered normal. But if this was the case, then surely that meant that there would be enough to complete the transformation spell. She could only hope. When she shut her eyes again, warmth coursed through her body as if the magic was radiating through her. In her mind's eye, she saw herself transformed, but just barely, as it was foggy and hard to make out. What she could hear resonating through her mind was her code words. If she were cautious, she would have questioned if these were indeed her code words, but she went with her gut. As much as she didn't want to fail, she couldn't second guess herself. With a glint in her eyes which opened wide, she threw the bow to the air and shouted to the heavens: "Aria Baroque!"
The white light then enveloped Alice, transporting her away into her own little world. She felt her stomach go cold as she wondered if this was what was supposed to happen. But as she thought it through, her whole body glowed green and her clothing evaporated. Immediately, she reached to cover herself. She almost feared that Juniper and Bianca could see every little thing that was happening to her, but her attention was caught by gold music bars that latched onto the skin she covered in shame. No longer embarrassed, Alice looked down at herself as more gold music bars started to wrap around every inch of her skin, enveloping her in magic. There was no reason to fight it; it just had to happen. Once the gold music bars tightened around her body, she burst free, revealing her magical outfit one by one. First came a nice white shirt with puffy sleeves, and under it, the gold bars spread out and burst to show a black skirt held out by a petticoat that was hidden underneath the skirt. The grin on her face was genuine as the reality sunk in. She was transforming. She threw her hands out to reveal white gloves with white lace, gold trim and a green gem to accentuate it, and in the same fashion she kicked her legs to form black boots with gold heels, the same white lace and gold trim plus the gem, and golden quavers on her ankles. She placed her hands over her heart and a green vest with gold trim poofed over the shirt, and a green and black scarf slid under the collar of the shirt, along with a gold badge with a treble clef as an insignia. Alice completed the look by bending back and letting the magic run over her hair, changing it from silver to a white and pale green ombre. Now that every little bit of her magical form was in place, she was free to return to reality, and while it seemed like she spent minutes floating in space while clothes popped on, anyone watching her would have probably only seen the transformation take place in just a few seconds. As Alice stood with her feet together, she took a small moment to look down at herself and confirm that this was all happening. For all she knew, this could have been a dream. She may have fallen asleep while playing and the transformation never happened. But no, it was clear as day. Alice had completed the transformation, and she was over the moon. "Ha! Just as I thought! A transformation? No problem! I almost can't believe that I was ever incapable of this; it just seems so simple!" Alice grinned and said beside: "At least for me." She continued to pose, loving herself as she appeared before the two girls. "And please. Do not call me Alice. As I appear before you, I am now Aria Baroque!" In the midst of Alice milking this for all it was worth, she was internally screaming at what just happened. Nothing that happened now could diminish the accomplishment, as much as she wanted to brush it off. Her main thought was that, quite frankly, she was glad that her demonstration was only a display of just a fraction of her talents, or it would have made transforming into Aria Baroque much harder.

Hello, everyone!
Malefica has now resumed and the roleplaying will continue. As far as I'm aware, TenshiHanka will not be returning to the RP and therefore a place in the first years is now open. If anyone is interested (even if they did not apply beforehand) send me a private message.
Thank you and happy roleplaying!

She saw Yue in the distance, who waved at her. She managed to wave back while still in the hug, 'Yuyu! Long time no see! Are you coming to Baking Club?' "Yeah." She spoke, still keeping her dull tone despite small chuckles surfacing due to the nickname. It was like Junie deliberately decided to make her name as sickeningly sweet as humanly possible, while also making it harder to say. It was impractical, but also cute in its own odd way. Same with the giant group hug that was presented in front of her, cavity inducing saccharine goodness. It was nothing compared to the blinding light searing Yue's eyes that followed. She shut them briefly before the flash beyond her eyelids darkened, cracking them open to see the spectacle beyond her... ...Yep. Baby's first magical girl transformation. Those things are always spectacles, especially with how unrefined the majority were. At least prissy over there wasn't super awkward about it, and her outfit wasn't that bad. She gave a curt clap and mumbled a "good job" as a means of congratulation, although the tone made it hard to tell.

Alice grumbled and tried to pull away from the bear hug that caught her off guard. That Bianca was a volatile ball of energy for sure, and she had no sense of boundaries. Truly a dangerous person. Indeed.
"Let go of me!" she yelled. "You are not worthy to even touch me, let alone suffocate me in this fashion!" With a bit of effort, Alice squirmed and slid out from under Bianca's arms, and she spent a good amount of time readjusting her outfit. She mumbled under her breath; "Insubordinate little cretin... How dare she ruffle my clothes when I just transformed for the first time..."
The brief clap caught Alice's attention. It certainly wasn't the level of applause she demanded for being able to complete a flawless transformation during orientation of her second year, but it was miles above being so carelessly hoisted into the air by Bianca. For just a moment, the ribbon of Yue's collar caught her attention. It was blue. Unfastened, but blue regardless. That means the bored student giving her particular brand of kudos was a third year. Being able to impress a third year was crucial for Alice, for third year students always held more sway over anyone else. Or at least, anyone except herself.... or so she liked to think.
"Ah, we have a spectator! I'm so glad you got to see me transform! I'm embarrassed to admit this is just a first time effort, but for my first time it was practically perfect!" She spun on the sole of her foot in a circle, displaying every bit of the results of the transformation to Yue and her classmates. And to be quite frank, all she cared about was being able to transform. The spells of Juniper and Bianca would be good from a scoring perspective, but in general she could not care less.

"O-off to the ground floor!" She said mildly cheerfully. She hoped her plans were good ones, to go first upstairs then back down so they would save on walking places unnecessarily. She hoped it was the smart decision to do so, as she'd never planned much of anything herself in her life. "So, if you are a pr-prodigy of dance," she said hesitantly, worrying if she was using the right word, "I-I guess you've been doing it since you were a kid?" Once again she used a simple levitation spell, this time weaker than the last two but not weak enough to have the wheels touch the ground while they descended the stairs. She hoped Evangeline would keep talking, as she feared silences when meeting new people, since they pointed to the other person being uncomfortable and she didn't want that. As expected, the sound of rushed footsteps quickly pattered over to her side, Evangeline giving Valerie a curt glance for not keeping her attention on her at all times. The girls outside weren't that interesting, after all. Once the two found their way to the foot of the staircase, she could've sworn the increments of a brief, green-tinted flash caught her peripherals, but ultimately she decided to ignore it in favor of watching the much more focused spectacle before her. She followed her levitating bag downstairs as Valerie shakily spoke to her again, another inquiry about one of her many talents finally breaking her steadied attention on the magic-imbued baggage and shifting it over to her shy companion's face. Instantly, her expression beamed. What followed directly afterwards was a long and winded autobiography detailing not only the many struggles an individual has to endure to become a prima ballerina but also the many stark differences she was convinced she had over the average dancer, the word 'genius' being thrown around every now and then as if it were a natural thing. Surely to her guide, the heavily one-sided exchange would've felt as if it'd lasted hours with how much material was relayed, when in reality only a few minutes had transpired. It wasn't until her foot hit the hard wood of the ground floor that she snapped out of her daze. "--Oh!" he blurted before turning back to Valerie, an overwhelming aura of pride radiating from her smile alone. "Well, I do hope that answered your question! I'm not sure how those other girls throwing their magic glitter about could be nearly as interesting as my riveting account, but I guess we'll just have to see! Shall we?" With a swift pivot in the direction of the nearest exit, Evangeline took her bag by its handle and rolled it behind her as the two made their way to the next destination.

Valerie was transfixed with Evangeline's immaculate tumble of words and prideful boasting. It did not register within Valerie to be at all put off by the behavior, as she was quite plain herself and was impressed with anyone. When they reached the ground floor, Valerie once again had to skip a bit to catch up with her younger schoolmate. She certainly seemed as if she always knew what she was to do. However, Valerie noticed she was heading toward an exit when they hadn't seen something quite important on the ground floor just yet. "O-oh Evangeline- excuse me, I'd like to show you the library while we're here, i-if I could," she said timidly, almost as if it were a question.

Evangeline immediately turned around at the sound of her timid guide's voice, the wheels on her luggage skidding to a halt after revolving halfway around her stationary frame. Admittedly, after her cocky little bout of self-righteous storytelling, the idea of visiting the school's hub of extensive sources and knowledge had completely slipped her mind. How embarrassing, but not surprising in the slightest, in her case. She did love to talk about herself. Correcting her earlier course of action, she remedied the situation, as well as Valerie's request, by walking in the opposite direction and waiting for further instruction. "Alright, then. Lead the way." she confidently replied.

"Alright, then. Lead the way." she confidently replied. "Yes Ma'am," Valerie responded automatically. It may have been embarrassing for any other third year to answer to a first year with such formality, but the way Evangeline carried herself seemed to demand respect and Valerie is always ready to oblige. They reached their new destination in no time. "You will find anything you need to help you study in here," she said, walking around a bit so Evangeline could get a good idea of the entirety of the room with its mazes of bookshelves. "I have probably used this room as much as I've used the cooking room," she rubbed the back of her head sheepishly as she admitted, "I've really needed it," "If you have any questions about what to look for, the librarians will help of course. Or... if I happen to be in here, I'd be happy to help you too!" She finished with a cheerful smile. It all seemed to be going very well for her and her first year, which made her quite pleased. "N-now, if you're finished, lets head for the Sports Grounds."

"You will find anything you need to help you study in here," she said, walking around a bit so Evangeline could get a good idea of the entirety of the room with its mazes of bookshelves. "I have probably used this room as much as I've used the cooking room," she rubbed the back of her head sheepishly as she admitted, "I've really needed it," Evangeline followed her guide down the hall, a light and prideful smirk tugging at her cheek at the word ma'am as she gracefully strolled behind her. Now that was more like it, she thought. This third year was shaping out to be easier to bend then some of the ditzier freshmen so far, the first year herself wondering if making herself known to the other third years (who she planned to befriend --and later, lead) would be this simple. Once the two entered the library, she immediately took to scanning the many embellished bindings on the wooden shelves that made up most of the massive room as her guide continued the speaking half of their tour, running a hand along the closest row of books as she listened. Occasionally, she'd stop to pick a few of them out and briefly scan their contents before sliding them back into place and catching back up, her confusion concerning magic seeming to grow with every page. Maybe becoming a master wasn't as easy as she had initially thought.... "If you have any questions about what to look for, the librarians will help of course. Or... if I happen to be in here, I'd be happy to help you too!" She finished with a cheerful smile. It all seemed to be going very well for her and her first year, which made her quite pleased. "N-now, if you're finished, lets head for the Sports Grounds." After returning the last book, Evangeline issued a light nod at her shy escort and moved forward alongside her. As they walked, thoughts about what she had seen and what they meant for her future here darted about in her mind, the uncertainty of this new subject she'd have to integrate into her life chipping at her confidence some. She turned to her guide, a third year on her way out of this academy after many years of improving on this craft the school neglected to explicitly advertise. Surely, with how the cotton-haired girl currently carried herself, she definitely had her own doubts starting out too, right? Only one way to find out... "Excuse me," she said plainly, "but, if you don't mind me asking, when you enrolled here, did you..... find the idea of 'magic' --that you could perform 'magic'-- at all perplexing?"

"Excuse me," she said plainly, "but, if you don't mind me asking, when you enrolled here, did you..... find the idea of 'magic' --that you could perform 'magic'-- at all perplexing?" Valerie was a bit surprised by the question, but answered without much hesitation. "O-oh my yes, I- well, you should have seen me, I-I was not at all prepared for such a thing to shake up my life, I had no idea- w-while I've mostly gotten used to it now, back when I was a first year I was very lost among it all. I just couldn't understand how someone like me would be able to perform any sort of magic. T-truly, I was lost," her jumble of words flew out quickly yet quietly. She had a bit of a rush of adrenaline getting to talk about herself. Mostly, people didn't take notice of her and she would stay silent throughout a school day. So much interaction her way had come, and getting to speak and potentially make a friend felt very exciting, albeit terrifying in its own right. In general, Valerie was not as good with her magic as she felt everyone else in her grade, and thought herself quite low on the bar of role models. Getting to talk to someone just starting out with magic felt like she could be of some importance, some giver of advice that could be sought and looked up to. While in a certain light it could not be seen as thinking very well of herself, this day's activities contributed to a slight boost in confidence. Valerie was feeling quite content with herself. The third year led the pair back out of the library once she deemed Evangeline to be finished analyzing the surrounding room. This time they were headed for the exit nearest the Sports Grounds, and they were going to keep their route. While they walked along, Evangeline in her characteristic strides and Valerie in her quick shuffling motions, Valerie thought back on Evangeline's question and realized that maybe the girl was anxious about her future studies. She felt it best to try to relate and subsequently soften the mood. "While I'm certain you'll get used to being able to do magic- w-what with how you said your first display was such a success- I'm sure it's hard for you to have your first day of a new school in a setting so different than what you're used to. It's been a while since I was in your place, but I can remember how terrified I was. Don't worry though, Evangeline! You are going to be just fine!" Valerie delivered another smile as she was in an entirely cheerful mood. They had reached the sunny outdoors by this point and Valerie stopped her trail of words and steps to both enjoy the view of the surrounding school grounds and wait for Evangeline to respond and observe the grounds with her.

"We're going to be baking cookies, so look forward to it!" Junie yelled after Yue, who had a first year following behind her. She had no doubt that Yue would impart lots and lots of useful, magical girl-ish advice. More importantly, Alice had just transformed, and Juniper had just noticed.
"Wow!" she begun with circling both Bianca and Alice, taking a look at her outfit from all angles. "This is really, really great!" She continued circling around the two, making many compliments as she did.

I just couldn't understand how someone like me would be able to perform any sort of magic. T-truly, I was lost," her jumble of words flew out quickly yet quietly. Evangeline nodded curtly at the other's response, her nerves calming a tad at the bubbling anxiety the two unsurprisingly had shared during their first year here. She silently looked ahead as they walked onward through the wide halls of the first floor as the rest of the first-third year pairs scattered about whilst continuing their own respective tours. Looking around, surely the doubts she now weakly held onto must have still been present in the rest of the freshman, right? Especially with how sorry some of the displays had been. She let out a little sigh of relief. That was fine. She'd just have to get used to.... all of it. While they walked along, Evangeline in her characteristic strides and Valerie in her quick shuffling motions, Valerie thought back on Evangeline's question and realized that maybe the girl was anxious about her future studies. She felt it best to try to relate and subsequently soften the mood. They had reached the sunny outdoors by this point and Valerie stopped her trail of words and steps to both enjoy the view of the surrounding school grounds and wait for Evangeline to respond and observe the grounds with her. With her mental state still not fully restored and it now dawning upon her that the impromptu moment of weakness she'd displayed was picked up upon by her guide, Evangeline's cheeks flushed as she hastily tried to recover from that unexceptional performance. " Huh? W-whatever do you mean by 'terrified'? I'm not worried in the slightest!" she heatedly assured Valerie with a theatrical hand to the chest. "I'm practically at the most advanced level of magic control in my entire class, so don't even think about worrying for me! I know for a fact that I'll be just fine!!!" She ended her run of over-confidence with a hearty chuckle and then assumed her position of poise and perfection before any heads would turn in her direction. As soon as the wheels of her bag rolled onto the outside pavement, Evangeline raised a hand to her forehead and scoped out the grounds of the school with obvious curiosity. It was imperative that she get a good grasp of the campus that she'd eventually conquer now in order to prevent herself from looking like a lost little tyke in a sea of grown women for the next few weeks. She needed to look like she owned the place. 'Unfortunately' for her, stepping onto the Sports Grounds, the tennis nets and other equipment in the surrounding area was amongst one of the last things she found herself paying attention to. Strewn about the field were the many groups of girls --all second years, among further inspection of their ribbons-- practicing their magic, just as her guide had said. She continued stepping forward for that closer look she was promised.

If she wanted to brag about something as standard as a transformation sequence, then that's her thing: but trying to play it off as something amazing to someone who knows what they're doing is another thing entirely. Yue turned to face her protege, nudging her in the shoulder and later whispering in her ear. "See Stella, don't be like blonde girl over there. People like her are annoying." Well, one brand of annoying; Stella was an entirely different brand of headache inducing stress. She took the time to observe the other groups converging on this one spot and make mental notes of them all. Tall girl; too perky to even be able to exist. Green Primadonna; too self entitled. Val(?); total doormat. Blonde Primadonna; the type to have her dad pay for everything and pretend she's the queen of the school. Stay away. It was like she was surrounded by oversized babies: too tired to deal with this.
