Friend spotted!!! "Well Hiya, Boulder!" I'm Kamryia Sinclair!" She chirped, shaking his hand enthusiastically. Wait Boulder. SHE COULD MAKE SO MANY PUNS.
"It's great 'ta meetcha! I'm sure we'll have a.... rockin' good friendship!!" She choked out through her snickers. She sighed to keep herself from laughing too hard, and gave the other a few seconds to laugh at her absolutely ingenious joke. Wait...ingenious. Igneous Igneous rock. HA!!! She snickered to herself for a little longer, but subsequently pointed at the door. "So, Boulder, let's go into that mysterious lookin' door together, yeah?" she asked. She affirmed the question she asked the other herself by giving a thumbs up and opened the door. She stepped in to see her future boss at the door and her smile widened. Puns... Boulder grinned at her, having heard nearly every possible rock-related pun when it came to his name. So much so that the words provided little irritation to him anymore. "Its very nice to meet you, Kamryia! I guess we should meet the boss, huh?" He chuckled as he followed her into the room. His eyes landed on the man in question, his grin immediately fading as he felt his heart rate shoot up a notch. This was the man, huh? Boulder's face remained solemn as he sat down in one of the chairs, no longer saying anything yet his eyes were still locked onto his new boss. "Giovanni?" Boulder repeated, committing the name to memory. Should I use my real name? Nah, its not like he'd know, right? "I'm Boulder." He stated flatly, stonefaced. He turned to look at the other recruits who'd just entered, taking note of the little girl he'd seen outside along with a little boy now entering too. Is Malocchio a day care service? Is that what I signed up for?Not that Boulder particularly minded. He personally loved kids, having grown up in an enormous family with him being the oldest. He gave a warm smile two the kids stepping in and a light wave before he turned back around. His smile faded as he studied Giovanni's features and remained silent.

"Oh. Hi, My name is..." Mack paused. Was it first names only? He plopped down on an empty chair and waited for somebody else to introduce them self before continuing, hoping nobody heard him. He looked Giovanni (his new boss?) up and down before peering over at the other individuals in the room. They were older, taller. And the other guy looked like a huge... boulder!
What?!
Mack coughed, Doing his best to keeping himself from shouting out loud. He took another close looked at the man, before turning away. Like hell Boulder's a real name... he was probably using a code name or something... wait.
Was Mack supposed to get a code name? How was he supposed to know!? "Boulder? That's not... your real name, huh?" He asked with an air of false confidence.

Asutane walked over and sat in one of the empty chairs everyone seem to began to introduce themselves.
"The names Asutane Fera." she lightly nodded. "I know my height made you think otherwise but I am 21 years old."
Asutane looked outside the window, feeling a little embarrassed about her height.

Meridian entered a bit later than she had hoped, already knowing she was probably the last one to arrive based on the time. She looked at her watch and let out a long sigh of annoyance, "Jeeze," She muttered before wandering around the store, trying to seem chill and cool despite the fact she was still dressed in her gas station attire. She couldn't say no to any shifts that popped up, whether it made her late for an interview or not. She let out a small scream as she heard something shatter on the ground, backing into a precarious pile of objects, one of said objects then fell and well.... shattered on the ground. She cursed under her breath and leaned down quickly, trying to clean up the bits of glass from whatever she'd just destroyed. She flinched at the pain as one of the pieces sliced open her palm, "Shit!" She grabbed a cloth from her pocket and tried to clean up the wound, only to realize it was the cloth she was supposed to be presenting in a few moments. "Ooooh shit, gah! Fuck, shit!" She tried wiping the cloth off on her uniform. Now both were splotched with blood. She let out a small squeal of frustration before taking a quick inhale of oxygen and looking both ways as she pushed the remaining glass with her foot behind some of the other items. She stood back up with her hands behind her back, whistling as though the whole display hadn't happened. Going up to Geralt with her best cheesy retail smile in place, she tossed the cloth on the counter. "Even with the eye watching, no evil will ever go unpunished." Geralt looked her up and down for a moment, seeming to take note of the fresh blood but not seeming too bothered by it (whether or not that was because he was used to that sort of thing or had witnessed her rather loud screw up, Meridian had no idea). He gestured with his chin for her to follow. She did so quickly, but grabbed the cloth off the counter again, pressing it to her palm. Geralt stopped mid step and reached into his pocket, pulling out a clean handkerchief and presenting it to her. “Here, trade with me. I’ll be needing that cloth back.” “O-Oh,” Meridian swapped with him, feeling a bit embarrassed he had to touch it. “Thank you.” “We have a first aid kit back in the front.” “N-No, this is fine.” “Alright.” They continued to walk until they reached the door with the beads. Meridian could hear voices inside. He heart beat a little faster at the prospect of having to pretend to be a happy, bubbly soul for this interview after just having done so for the past eight hours. Geralt was already opening the door for her before she could fully collect her thoughts, and she started walking in out of habit. She slipped her smile back on and waved with her uninjured hand, “Thank you again!” The door shut tightly behind her. She eyed all the new people around her, smile still in place. A man dressed in all black with a scarf tossed around his neck, probably one of the older ones in the room. Would it be best to make an impression on him first or to approach the others and work her way up…? Her other choices for conversation weren’t really any less intimidating in her eyes. A blue haired girl, rather short and very young, possibly younger than herself. People near her age she always had trouble relating to, since her life experiences were so...different from other young adults her age. There was a sparky, energetic girl with an eye patch. Also a bad choice. Someone who ACTUALLY enjoyed life might see the pain hidden in her soulless eyes instantly despite her wide grin. An even YOUNGER and SHORTER boy than the blue haired girl, which was off the cards as a first pick immediately because of similar reasons. So that left the burly man with a beard. Who to be honest, looked the most physically intimidating of the bunch. But between him and scarf man, perhaps it would be best to start with him? If only to tackle that misplaced fear head on. Judging him just because he was strong wasn’t how she wanted to see him. So yes, she’d go to him first, if only to press those thoughts from her mind and show herself just how perfectly unintimidating he was. She went up to the man, seeming to be completely unaware of any other conversations he was having as she’d already put her mind to this task, and stuck out her bloody hand without realizing it. “Hello! My name is Meridian.” There was only the slightest of pauses as she seemed to be reacting to something he hadn’t yet said. “Boulder? That’s an interesting name! It’s a pleasure to meet you!” She became aware that she was dripping blood onto the ground and let out a small yelp, quickly pulling her hand back and wiping it off with the handkerchief. She put her other hand out, her smile back in place along with a bead of sweat rolling past her temple. “S-Sorry…” ( MonkeyandMooseInc )

A bead of sweat rolled down the side of Boulder's face as he was suddenly thrown into the center of attention. He tried to keep his face from displaying the array of emotions his inner monologue had managed to crank out. As his mind began to rack what to address first, he ultimately decided to begin with the elephant in the room. The bloody handed girl sticking her hand out to him. While he was about to ask about what had happened to her hand, a different question arose in the man's mind. "H-how did you know my name..?" He asked, a puzzled look donning his face. "You....weren't in here when I was introducing myself..?" His confused expression remained as his mind began to race, trying to recount all the possibilities of how this Meridian could possibly know his name. In the end, however, Boulder let out a thunderous laugh that echoed through the room. "Oh jeez! I didn't realize I was being so loud for you to have heard me all the way out in the hall!" He chortled as he shook her non-bloody hand. "Yes, Boulder is my preferred name! But as the boy over there guessed," He gestured over to Mack with a slight wave "That's not my real name." He grinned. "I prefer going by Boulder because it was a nickname given to me as a kid, and stuck with me into my adult life because....well... look at me!" He chuckled. "I usually use THAT name instead of my real name because some people have trouble pronouncing my real one. So I'd prefer if we just stuck with Boulder." He gleamed at Mack, no hint of aggression or agitation in his voice. "And what about you, clever sir?" He then turned to Asutane, who he refused to believe she was old enough to drink. There was no way!? She was so small! He let out another nervous giggle and spoke "Its a pleasure to meet you too, Asutane!" He turned back to Meridian, his smile fading. "Uh, your hand, though. You should really get that cleaned up! You wouldn't wanna get an infection." He seemed concerned for the girl's well-being, mainly because everyone he'd met other than Gio looked like a child to him.

"Uhhhhh... Why?" Mack motioned towards the droplets of blood on the floor. The girl could cover her hand up all she wanted, she could put a bandage and some neosporin on it even, won't stop him from asking why her hand was bleeding. Did she come in from the middle of a knife fight?
Probably.
"Did you get stabbed or something?" Mack inquired, his question not seeming the least bit odd to him. Before she could answer the conversation moved on, however, leaving Mack to brew on possible theories.
"What's height got to do with it?" Mack blurted out before realizing that he did. He slumped in his chair, teeth grinding together as he pondered his own height an the teasing that came along with it. Height isn't even a thing people have any control over- so why do people make it such a big deal? Who cares if he's five one, not Mack!
Oh, he had to give his name-
"I'm five foot one!" Mack shouted out. His thoughts mixed together into a word soup- a terrible word soup, causing him to yell out the wrong information. Mack's face turned bright red as he stuttered, he would have to work quick to correct himself. "I mean no I'm- My name. It's fish. My name is Mackerel. But youcancallmeMack."

However, if it wasn't for the fact during his work he met an array of odd faces and peculiar transients then he would have been quick to brush the newcomer off his shoulder without second thought. Yet over the years, he found it somewhat rewarding to give them a say. "Take a seat and introduce yourselves. A group interview will be held soon." Instead of returning to his work, he swayed his chair to face the row of seats to observe the recruits with a watchful eye. "As I said moments ago, I'm Giovanni. Feel free to chatter among yourselves before we get started." Watching everyone else retreat into conversation, Kamryia sat down next to Giovanni, confused as to what to do. She wanted to make new friends, but she didn't want to interrupt anyone! Heavens, no! She sighed to herself before she realized there was a new friend that was sitting right next to her the whole time! Letting her sleeves fall over her hands again, she leaned her elbow against her banjo that she brought along with her, looking at the conversation-less other with a wide smile. She was gonna be friends with everyone, and this was where she would start. "Wow, these guys sure are quick to the draw! Gettin' into conversation before I can even start talkin'!" she chimed. Analyzing the other, she noticed he was rather mysterious, and psychoanalysis of someone that didst show much emotion right off the bat was never easy. "So, Mr.Gio, tell me a bit about yerself! I know we're gonna have an interview soon and all, like ya said, but unless you're interviewin' yerself, I don't think ill hear much aboutcha!" she said, giving an attempted thumbs up through the sleeve that covered her hand. She pulled her sleeve down, letting the hole for her hand fall to her forearm, and she gave a successful thumbs up this time.

Asutane softely smirked a bit. A little nervous there, eh buddy? Still, gott give him a benefit of a doubt since he seemed nice.
"It's nice to meet you too, Mr. Boulder."
She turned to a someone who just came in whose..... oh hell, how did she get injured? She became concerned for the fellow.... future co-worker, is she?? But yeah, her hands are bloody at the moment.
"Hopefully, there's some medical equipment somewhere here." Asutane spoken, with a bit of worry hinted in her voice
Asutane felt a little bit better that someone was saying that. Though not by a long shot, due to a lot of people in her life teasing her about her height. Still, she's is used to it anyways. She smiled and nodded to the guy.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Mack."

Giovanni quirked an eyebrow, leaning on his desk just slightly to hear the exchange between the two. While "Boulder" waved it off as a result of being an excellent orator, Giovanni's interest was piqued. Already had the newcomer fumbled over her bloody hand and now seemingly carried an innate knowledge despite supposedly having no relations to those in the room. With the nature of the business in question, there was a high probability it was not merely a coincidence. Or perhaps they were acting as if they hadn't met and horribly stumbled over their own script? Either way, it was something to observe with cautious eyes.
His attention was grabbed by the question, watching as the fledgling squirmed in his chair with his eyebrows furrowed and tightly pursed lips. Height certainly has little to do with it, his thoughts wandered, but maturity does. Though admittedly, maturity showed itself in different ways- hopefully the "man" was only sensitive about his height. I see. Huh? ...Possibly a tad bit too sensitive. In the end, there was always someone who had to show him their ID. Though just as Giovanni intended to wander back into Meridian's conversation, the sound of a chair being dredged across the wooden paneling pierced his ears as he found that one of the more colorful characters from before boldly taking a seat next to him. In her arms was a strung instrument, looking to be banjo upon closer inspection. "If you attach a formality to a nickname, doesn't that ruin the nickname's purpose?" he began, straightening himself in his chair, "Ah, do as you please I suppose. There's not much to say, however. I'm in my thirties and my favorite drink is lychee flavored," he shrugged. The question was rather vague to begin with, what was he supposed to reply? "What about you?" Giovanni rested his chin in his palm, waiting for a response.

She was confused for a brief moment and then it came to her. "Oh wait!!!!!!!!! Like the fruit!!!! Oh boy, silly me, I thought you went drinkin' leeches somehow!!" she said with a laugh. She sat back in her chair, resting her head on her hands, sighing to herself. "Sorry about that Mr.Gio. Oh...erm....I should ask, woulja prefer Just Gio or Mr.Giovanni? Puttin' an honorific in front of a nickname is silly!" she chirped, absentmindedly adjusting the string that kept her eyepatch in place. She thought for a brief second what she would say in response to his question. "Well, I like music, travelin', and people in general! And If we're goin' drinks, I love orange juice! Its more fun when ya squeeze it yerself! Same with any food or drink! Homemade is always the best way 'ta go~! Puttin love into any foood makes it much better! Oh, Im ramblin' again, aren't I?' she sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck, with an awkward laugh. She needed to remedy her....talking problem. "So, Mr.Giovanni, Gio, Vanni, Mister, If we're goin' for ice breakers, d'ya play instruments? And if ya do or if ya don't, what's yer favorite music genre?"

You wouldn't wanna get an infection." He seemed concerned for the girl's well-being, mainly because everyone he'd met other than Gio looked like a child to him. Meridian visibly tensed as she already messed up twice in the short time span she was in the shop. "Ah hah, yes, sorry. Must have heard it from there!" She tried her best to warm her smile, pulling her hand away shortly after it was shaken and then focusing on her injury again. "There's a first aid kit up front, b-but I can get to that after the interview. If I keep it covered it's not that bad." She scolded herself for the small stutter in her voice, her nerves still ringing true as she worried about what other possible ways she could fuck herself over. "I'm a big girl, I can handle myself," She tried to joke. Meridian's eyes wandered away from Mack and focused on the blue haired girl expectantly even though she wasn't talking, having already seen her start to talk and redirect the conversation. She jolted a bit as she heard her repeat the same thing again, the confusion never lessening despite her lifetime of experience. Luckily, she had hesitated enough when she initially heard it that she hasn't already responded to something that wasn't said."Yeah...the um...the first aid kit I mentioned. But really, it's fine." She glanced back at Mack. "And no, I didn't get stabbed. It was an accident." She refrained from explaining what had happened for fear of the broken object being discovered and two and two being put together. "But I suppose it's....nice to meet you Mack. Asutane. Boulder." She nodded to each of them, switching her smile to a lighter neutral expression to avoid seeming too peppy. "I swear I'm not usually this unkempt. I just came from my other job." She laughed a little and made a small gesture with her head down towards her uniform. "Well, hopefully soon to be other job!" Oh no, did that sound too desperate? Confident? "I do look forward to working with all of you! Or most of you, at least!" Could that be interpreted as passive aggressive?? Like she was saying they wouldn't all make it??? "May the best employee win, right?" FUCK! That definitely sounded competitive! "Hahahahahahahhaahhhahahahaah-!" STOP! MERIDIAN STOP--!

Boulder removed his jacket and let it fall to the floor as he attempted to get more comfortable in the chair he'd been situated in. He combed his hand through his hair as he looked around the room at the current people he'd be stuck in a group interview with until his eyes finally fell on Giovanni. Oh my fucking god, this is going to be a daycare service...He took a deep breath as he turned to the boy who'd introduced himself as Mackerel, his name sounding no realer than Boulder's, and smiled. "Nice to meet ya, 5'1"! " He joked, his warm smile spreading further across his face. "I hope we get the chance to work together!" He then turned back to Meridian and let out a light chuckle. "Hey kid, relax. Its just a group interview. No need to stress over it. Just go with the flow. It'll be fine." He chimed. He turned back to Giovanni and Kamryia's conversation, the smile now gone as he focused more intently on the group's future boss rather than the conversation itself, without making it too obvious. He nodded his head along as Kamryia babbled on, as though he were actually listening.

Asutane raised an eyebrow at how Meridian seems to be handling. Is... she actually gonna be okay? She turned to the conversation between Giovanni and Kamryia. Maan, is Kamryia the hyper one... still, she decides to speak up.
"I will say this, if anybody needs help putting stuff away neatly, I'll be the person to help." Asutane chirped "If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask."

Giovanni lip's twitched slightly at a halfhearted smile, "Well, leeches would make more sense when it comes to my physique I suppose." A poor attempt at humor slipped by, and he shook his head, "Giovanni is fine. It's up to you how to shorten it from there. "Instruments?" he drew his brows together, squinting slightly as he pondered the thought, "In my late teens I played the cello for a few years into my twenties. Although it's been... awhile now. If I tried picking it up again, it could take some time to get the hang of it like I used to. As for genres," his voice trailed off, "That's hard to say. There seems to be so many I can't keep track. I guess anything that's easy to listen to. Judging by your equipment there, I'm guessing you're a musician." He watched the woman lean back on the banjo, albeit a little nervous she would fall back on it at any moment. "Questions will be coming in a moment," He exchanged glances with the candy-colored candidate just a few feet away before returning to his gaze to the cluster. "If you're all ready for the interview to begin we can start now, but first-" his lanky figure rose from his chair, taking a stride to his desk before phoning into the front cashier, "Geralt, bring the first aid kit," was all he said before buzzing out of the conversation and walking outside the bead-adorned door. A barely audible conversation could be heard from the outside before Giovanni reentered the room with a small metal box in hand, stretching it out to Meridian as he did so. "The textiles I draped on the chairs are rather unique; I'd prefer not to have them stained." It would appear the sloppy decoration was the work of the boss himself, and while upon closer inspection the patterns were impressive- the way they were so carelessly thrown about was not. He sauntered behind his desk, shuffling for a pen and papers as he did so. "Are we ready to begin?"

Boulder's attention became fixated solely on Giovanni now, a light smirk on his face. While he hadn't experienced anything too bizarre or off-putting from this group of people, the man was eager to get right into the reason that he'd come here in the first place. His anxiety did heighten slightly at the fact that Giovanni would be the one interviewing them, but hid his true feelings behind his cocky facade.
"Ready when you are." He spoke confidently, his face devoid of emotion. Better to stay professional, right?
