I've been hunting down every mecha show I can find lately and bought 5+ mecha games in the last several months. I also have a concept for a mecha shoot 'em up I really want to make, and I would love to buy a Gundam model kit or two. This is basically all Gurren Lagann's fault.
Also: fanime, for real. I've known of its existence for at least a couple years but I kind of figured it died out before 2010. When I realized it actually still has loads of recent shows, I made a YouTube account to follow and comment on a couple, and to entertain the idea of making my own. Now I'm on this forum every day and know a lot more fanimes' and creators' names.
Also I have over 100 hours into Dark Souls 2 at this point, it's kind of terrible. edit: I forgot about my other character with 45 hours.

Masks: I created this in art class, during my freshmen year. When it was time for us to pick our masks from the masonry oven, my teacher notified me before hand that half of it broke apart. It wasn't much of a deal to me, although I made it asymmetrical in design. When I got my mask from the oven both horns were still attached and after taking the bus home the horn on the broken side fell off. As of now the mask is in million pieces, but I kept it in a box just in case I want to glue it together. I was surprised how the colors turned out on the mask, since I didn't want to paint it in the first place, but since it was for a grade I had to. I also noticed that my teacher added some black and white marks which made it even cooler, sadly I didn't find out until I was already at home so thanking her was a thing of the past. This mask will always be superior to all other masks I make, since it was my first.

Yo that mask is awesome, I'd wear that mask!! I want to go to Venice or something during Carnival just to wear a cool mask.
