Do any of you notice those little things in life where you just want to step in and say, "HEY, YOU'RE DOING THAT THE WRONG WAY. THERE'S A BETTER WAY!" Maybe you noticed I used incorrect grammar in the title and you just want to correct me and beat me with a hammer. This is the thread for you. The boys track team ordered t-shirts and they came in the other day. They're pretty plain. Gray with black letters. Our school mascot is on the front, whatever. As a graphic design artist, it kind of irked me knowing that I could do a better job (And that I DID do a better job on the cross country shirts which everyone raved about) but anyways... that's not the point... The point is the slogan on that back reads the following: "If your not first your last."Wait, what? Hold the phone. That's on a t-shirt? Whoa, whoa, whoa. I had a grammatical seizure. Apparently the coach didn't catch it when he proofread the work, and the designer/printer didn't catch it either... because... well.... I don't know what their excuse was... Ummm... Yeah. So, I just want to take a marker to every single one of those shirts and fix them. We give the coach a hard time though. What have you seen done incorrectly that you just wish you could take the time to fix?

This reminds me of a class that I'm helping to teach. (I know more about it than the teacher lol) Its a computer elective on anime studio! (The program that is used to make "nonsense world." Although I'm probably worse at animating than the creator of that series.)
The students are soooo unmotivated though. They hardly make any progress ever, and its really rare for them to ask a single question. After teaching them what they can do, I kind of just have to awkwardly walk around and tell them all what I said over again with a few other little things as well. Their animations are usually not impressive at best. (with a few exceptions) There are those few students that can actually do stuff, and then that one that doesn't do anything besides listening to music and talking... It would be nice to do anything at all! XD
It just boggles my mind how something that I did for fun is something that some of these people can't stand doing. @_@ ( I'm starting to believe they take this class to listen to music :/ ) Luckily this doesn't bother me much at all, because teaching this class is really fun since I get to draw anime characters and stuff. lolol
