Share your old animations!

Haha, you guys wanna talk about terrible beginnings? 



This video has like...one or two animations in it. Barely anything. But it was still 'my first'. The characters are all from the anime Inuyasha. The image of Kagome lying down on the ground was literally my starting image in I believe 8th grade? I one day just pulled out this sketchbook (I don't even know where it came from) and decided 'hey, I think I'm going to learn how to draw now'. Exactly my thought process, not even kidding. Thus, this was born in like a month or something.

Obviously video editing came way before my desire to start art work (I started editing when I way 11 I believe?). I tend to pick up hobbies at random for no apparent reason. :'D

EDIT// I also wanted to add (I'm so ashamed of this) some images are traced. You'll be able to tell which ones probably :/

Allie One thing about cringe worthy videos is we can look back on them and be like "WOW I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS PROUD OF THIS LOL" and it always reminds us how far we've come.

I will try to find some of my very first animations if they are anywhere on the internet that still exists lol.

In the meantime, I found this really silly stickman video I did over 11 years ago to cheer up my boyfriend that worked at Wendy's LOL
There was minimal effort, and maybe it's just nostalgia, but I thought it was worth a share for the laugh. XD

Why are everyone's old animations actually really good looking for old animations -screams internally-

2004 Terra Lucis everyone, first animation I ever did



and 2008 Terra Lucis (i figured out cloth flapping this year i was so proud of myself lmao)

 

and 2009 Terra Lucis (Stopped using Flash this year)



and 2010 Terra Lucis (aka, the current opening, this particular sequence was done in 2010) which is old as crap but I'm not making another opening right now haha!



I am 900% glad that Youtube did not exist in 2004, nor did I really know about it in 2008. Learning how to animate on Flash first was a badddd idea, I learned more how to take shortcuts than anything else lmao! -hides face- (Can you pinpoint the year where I took my first art classes ever? hahaha!)

God I hate my old animations, but since everyone is sharing I might as well share too.

First we have the lovely Guilderland Mew Mew animations I had (These are from the remake, which wasn't much better than the first)

Then we have the fanime that should be forgotten and I regret making it. Somebody should've talked me out of it, but those ungodly middle school years kept me going with this. Man it was a terrible mistake...





















Oh man these were bad. The episodes, at least for GMM and the original EN, are somewhere on youtube (probably fanimereuploaded) if you wanna watch them for a good laugh.
