I don't think this deserves it's own thread so I'm just gonna revive the spam chat. I recently had a weird dream that I thought might interest some of you guys: It was a dream about fanime characters. I was talking to Cinna from Project Unknown and I was trying to convince her that the guy she was in love with wasn't real. For some reason she enclosed herself in this long box and I walked into the box as well when talking to her. The "guy" she was in love with was inside the box as well and was actually a laser next to a screen that showed Cookie Girl and Ribbonista from My Jungle Book Your Year. Cinna started crying uncontrollably, walked out of the box, and fell to the floor as she realized the guy she was in love with wasn't real. Watching Cinna's mental breakdown was kinda creepy for some reason but then I woke up after that.

[...]I recently had a weird dream that I thought might interest some of you guys[...] I wish I had a fanime dream, or even to remember my dreams in general. I never even remember enough to make interesting stories about them. I rarely remember dreams now thanks to my alarm clock, but a lot of the times I had dreams that were interesting stories without me having to adapt them. They even come complete with twist endings. I also write all of them down when I remember them. This one's not as good as the more dramatic and twisty ones (cause I might use those for something,) but here's an absurd story-dream from a while ago: 3/16/2012 Tall Man, Short Man, Fat Man
I am staying at an apartment or hotel room with a friend. It is the room of a dead artist, and rumored to be haunted. One of my other friends warns me about the tall man, the short man, and the fat man. He says that I should remember them.
We arrive at the room and just kind of chill for a while. There are unfinished paintings of horses everywhere, some like stick figures and others a twisted and disturbing realism. As the night goes on, we begin seeing the figure of a man appear for a split second before disappearing again. I mostly observe him standing by a window and looking out.
Eventually we end up holed up in a dark closet-sized room with stairs, more or less hiding for whatever reason. We then decide to go back out into the rest of the apartment. We’re in the small corridor that separates some of the rooms, and there is a door at the end. We head for the door and it bursts open, with a tall man, and short man, and a fat man rushing in. They are wearing large black suits, and their heads are covered by some kind of strange globe-like helmets that are flat white.
The men rush toward us, and we fight them off, but eventually one of the masks falls off to reveal my friend from before who originally warned me. The jig's up. He reveals that it was just him and my two other friends messing with us the whole time, but then something happens.
We are attacked by what can only be described as a horse demon, which is in a spectral kind of form, and parading all through the walls and such. It is drawn to the first friend, and he seems like he is going to do something to fight it, but does not. The horse then kills him and the two others in costumes.
A few days later, I find myself before a large door in a strange part of town. I don’t know why I’m here, but I know I have to go here. At the door, I am asked for some sort of password or code. I say “Tall man, short man, fat man.” and the door opens for me.
It is some sort of base for paranormal hunters that eliminate evil spirits. I walk right in and end up speaking with the woman in charge. She’s an older, strict woman, and I explain what happened at the apartment. I tell her about how my friend was going to try something, but didn’t. She explains that his main method of attack was a sort of vacuum portal, but with all of us in such a small space, it would have sucked us in as well as the demon, so he didn’t use it and thus died.
From here I am, of course, brought into the order and made a hunter.
I haven't actually had a lot of fanime-related dreams, and the few I've written down are less than spectacular. This one's pretty ironic, though: 11/21/2013 The Kawaii Choo Choo Train
I am on one of the top floors of a skyscraper. The room I am in has two tiers, with one being about a story higher than the main level. I stand at the top of a staircase alongside a conveyer belt that sits in front of a screen that might also be a portal. I begin unloading boxes onto the conveyer, and my teammates down below process them. As we work, the screen shows different things happening. It looks like a RWBY video game of some kind.
I am now in the game. I am driving a car somewhere, and my friends are in another car behind me. They are Missy, Nickname, and Yuki. As we drive, the others somehow end up in a cave. I keep driving straight, but am able to see what is going on with them. The tunnel they are driving through is barely wide enough for the car, and the headlights are not lighting anything. Blind and lost, the group continues to drive anyway, struggling through.
I turn around to go find them, and end up in the same tunnel. I can see just fine from their lights, and I quickly catch up. Just as I do, the tunnel opens up to a massive cavern. It is inhabited by giant insect monsters, and there is also a train riding along the left side.
Our cars are now gone, and we attempt to jump on the train. I am Ruby. I manage to get on the train a few times, but keep falling off. I am even run over on one occasion, but I get up just fine and climb up again. Nickname and Missy are already on the roof of the train by now, and the three of us ride for a little while before I fall off again. Their train rides on without me, and eventually leaves the cave.
I am stranded with Yuki, and the insects are coming after us. I am now Kawaii Schoolgirl. I switch to my shotgun and begin killing off the monsters as they get close to me. I can’t tell exactly what Yuki is doing, but she fights them off as well. She is now Fiesty Fightgirl. Another train comes riding by, and we manage to get on top of it.
As the train speeds out of the cave, we see that it opens up to a cliff side. The rails continue out over open air. As the train flies out of the opening, the wheels shift from the bottom to the top of the cars so that it is now hanging from the rails rather than riding on them. We are several stories over a jungle.
The two of us don’t really do anything as the train keeps on going, but we approach a split in the rails. I stand on the left side, and Yuki is on the right. As the train hits the split, I get bumped to a different car, which keeps on going. Yuki’s car stops at the split, and she falls off of it. I look back to see her in the distance, tediously trying to get back on.
When I turn around again, I see that I am now above a clearing, and the rails are winding down to ground level. The train - now riding the railes again - slows and pulls back into the room outside of the video game where we started. I get out to find that I am alone. The rest of the Kawaii Schoolgirl guardians stand lifeless on the stairs in some sort of group pose. I notice some things wrong, and fix them. I then step into place, and switch to Stunning just before waking up.

Oh my god Evan that last dream though. I don't really have any fanime dreams, but if I did they were ones I had forever ago AND they're NEVER about my own My bff Delaney used to constantly have TCM dreams though. The jealousy was raging.

I can't think of any "good" dreams I've had off the top of my head. I've had my OCs make small appearances in my dreams from time to time. ;u;
And, ironically, I've had a dream just last night about going to the store and buying a Sandor plushie so that was pretty cool tbh (it was $15 though)

I get a lot of ideas from my dreams. 20 Galaxies was initially created to help me deal with recurring nightmares I had when I was a kid. I've never had any dreams about fanime but I have about webcomics.

I had a dream that I was a kid dancing in Dance Moms. It was so vivid and felt so real. I also sassed Abby Lee Miller so many times that she was really annoyed with me and I left because she was being a racist asshole.

I had a dream that the Mongolians invaded the Chinese in the next town over from mine. There was a huge cloud of smoke and it was raining blood. My family decided to pack up and head out west, since the blood storm was coming in from the east. I was trying to gather my stuff, but at the same time I had to grab my cat. Nobody would help me so I just got so frustrated and woke up.

I remember this one dream not too long ago that I was hanging out with a random group of people. We were at a metro station, and all of us got 4 pink lemonades at a vending machine (and for some reason the lemonades were packaged??). One of them said "If we drink one of these, one of us will die" or something like that (we didn't care and drank them all anyway lol). I later found a picture of a demonic looking bear (or I think it was a bear) driving a car. I showed the odd picture to them, but when I blinked, I was now somehow in a car with two of my brothers, one of which was driving it, and my aunt in the front seat. He pretty much went "lol yeah that is weird" and kept speeding through a road made out of wood chips. He drove under two trucks, then abruptly pressed on the brakes because we were about to drive off a cliff. He tried going in reverse, but that made us fall off even faster. I shut my eyes as we flipped over, but I none of us fell. I heard one of them say, "Wait, where's our aunt??" (I kinda assumed that she fell down with the car). I opened my eyes and found out I grabbed on to a pole tied up to a thin string before I fell, though my two brothers were sitting on the cliff, not helping me. I stared at them for a while, then one of them asked, "You know, how come you always die here?". I just shrugged and said, "I dunno", and that's when the string snapped and I fell. In the middle of falling, I woke up, disappointed that I died in my dreams again...
