So we were talking about dreams before and I remember when I was a kid, my dreams would start with me falling onto a comfortable bed and then running around as if I was in a store that sold beds, and on the walls would be hanging these portraits that I would jump into a la Super Mario 64 and that started the dream proper.

This doesn't really involves anyone else so... I'll just post it here. My brothers and I asked my parents to guess the names of the characters in Super Smash Bros Wii U, and if they didn't know the name then they had to make one up. Keep in mind that my mom is Japanese so her English isn't perfect. Here's the results: |

How do your parents pronounce Mario?
My mom says "Mahr-ee-o."
Whereas my dad says, "Mare-ee-o."
Also, my parents would sometimes pronounce Pokemon wrong. "Pokomon, Pokomanz, Pokemanz,"

Both my parents say Mahr-ee-o! They're Italian and Spanish so it makes sense haha, although my dad is a massive video game nerd and would probably pronounce it correctly regardless!
My mom totally says Pokey-mons though ahahahaha

My parents say "Mahw-ee-o!" because of their accent (my family is from Haiti so sometimes Rs sound like Ws. Imagine Elmer Fudd).
They also say "Pokey-mon" or "Pokeh-mon."
But my dad (who tries to be funny) says "Santa Clara" when we refer to Santa Claus.

I kind of want Tenshi to make Pit into his profile pic just because of this Super Smash name thing lol. Apparently though a lot of people who aren't familiar with Captain Falcon are immediately reminded of Captain America when they see him. A lot of parents will say something like "Is that Captain America?" from what I've seen lol.
I actually like my dads made up names more than some of their real names sometimes like "Freddy" is better than "Villager" and I like "Tony" more than "Little Mac." Both of my parents get the pronunciations correct though.
I also forgot my mom said Pinkey not Jigglypuff lol I messed up the picture.
