...I don't know what the hell they'd do with it since both my fanimes contain a lot of not safe for kids elements.
But that's part of the fun.
In this thread, post your ideas for what would happen if 4Kids saw your fanime and tried their best to turn it into a super awesome cartoon for kids!
I thought about this for a while, but for Tokyo Fetish Mew, they would probably name it something like Mew Mew Weirdos and make it all about how these girls do crazy things sometimes but they're still ready to fight evil. Like instead of kinks, it's now just being weird.
I then decided to generate some names at random for the characters. Akane is now named Candi, Chiyo is now named Bonnie, Rei is now named Erin, Shizuka is now named Louise (and probably voiced by Lisa Ortiz), Tomoko is now named Amanda, Haruka is now named Kassie, Rorita is now named Winni, and John is now Joanne and a girl who wears a mask of Scatman because GENDER CONFUSING IS BAD FOR KIDS LOL
Yeah, apart from Lisa Ortiz I couldn't think of any other voice actors. Just get some other middle aged women and try to make them sound like girls in their teens.

Also the only person that really dies dont really die..and one characters Terrible. Secret. Past. is gone because its Eroge's fault that its happens.
theres also two people whos names are basically tits that need gone. no idea how theyd cover up those names.
for the rest of the main cast i guess theyd get lame names like Doki Kokoro-chan is Debbie, Shounen is like Samuel, Midori turns into like maxwell I guess which is an ok name, Momo would be Mindy, Tsuntsun becomes Stacy, the classmates and shit all get new names.
I guess like the mahou chan part just becomes magical ____ like mahou shojo chan is magical cute, mahou genki chan; magical joy, etc.
and the mmahou shojo chan part will not do, the show'd probably be called cute magical warriors or something
also now everyone is at least 16.
(which would kinda bring on some goofs for the series because genki quest happens when they are seniors and reveals they have small patches past 9th year that show their grade, and the people who are really 16 in the series are out of school.)

The ending would be everyone becomes friends and the antagonists repent for their terrible actions~ Terra Noctis would not exist. Natu and kenshiros back stories would be erased. Tetsuya does not have a crush on Kenshiro but he is instead his cousin
The whole mythos would basically have to be simplified heavily to remove darker themes oh nooo (I've actually thought in the past about what would have to be changed to make this a kid show and this includes editing some core mythos haha)
Uhh name wise, Illuna = Lana, Cless= Jonathan or something ridiculously generic haha, Kylos = Kyle, Lisha = Trisha, Kenshiro = Kenneth, Darius = Darren and Natu = Nathan lmao.

I also thought about the mess that would be Lorem Ipsum. If we assume for a moment that it isn't just a fanime with Nickelback music and ponies and other characters already owned by others and it looked like a real anime, there would be a few things changed, for examle, ghidfspa and pwcjfidpfpweigewjpsa's relationship changes from them being lesbian lovers to close friends that are marrying because Lorem Ipsum law is crazy. Maybe pwcjfidpfpweigewjpsa gives ghidfspa a special hug. Which means magical girl powers aren't really an STD anymore, and instead just something that gets shared with a close friend. Or something dumb.
ghidfspa's name is now Gina, dasoijofa is now Donny (and he needs to be voiced by DAN GREEN come on), pwcjfidpfpweigewjpsa is now Penelope, gjfeown is now Joan, and hgjdoafks is now Helen.

Serenity Chronicles would be a disaster. The series would be instead named Serenity's highs and lows. Her parents would have died in less bloodshed. Serenity's highs and lows would be a magical girl fanime too......
Neil wouldn't be a stripper. He would instead be a background dancer for the boy band in Serenity's Highs and Lows called Green Scene (BTW, that's the real name of the band). Neil would also be interested in music instead of science. All the girls would swoon over him instead of his good friend Bastian.
Bastian would be so nerdy (like Umino in Sailor Moon level, not like he isn't) both in intelligence (he's smart ffs) and in appearance. Swirly glasses, high waisted pants, unkempt hair, etc. Serenity and Bastian would still be childhood friends, but they won't be together. He does confess, but only to be shocked by the fact that Serenity likes Daniel.
Daniel would be doing holistic rituals instead of trying to fight everyone all the time. In fact, Serenity x Daniel would be canon instead of Serenity x Bastian (spoilers sorry, not sorry).
Amy would be in another school and would be actual FRIENDS with Lisa. They would be BEST FRIENDS and rivals in fact. They would both go to an all girls ballet school and always hype each other up in order for them to keep on trucking. (Don't you just love friendly rivalries?)
Michelle would be the antagonist. Michelle is the type to antagonize people to begin with. In Serenity Chronicles, it's all for fun and games -- it's her personality. But in Serenity's Highs and Lows, it would be full of "oh I'm more popular than you," and other stuff that obnoxious popular high schooler say and do to others. She would be a major bully to everyone.
Finally, our main character Serenity Gibson wouldn't be so emo and angsty and s to hate the world because of what her parents' death brought upon her. She would be that girl in every stereotypical anime who would say hi and bye to their parents in that picture frame. She would be more expressive about her feelings (and would be a deredere, not a tsundere/kuudere mix). She would also be a dojikko and a meganekko (dojikko meaning very clumsy and always falling and meganekko she has glasses and is very studious). Her hair would be either range from bra strap length to a bob. Plus she would be about 5'5" instead of 5'9.5".
Name changes:
Serenity (stays the same)
Amy (stays the same, but her real name stays as Amy, not Amelia)
Lisa (Lauren)
Daniel (says the same)
Neil (Nathan)
Bastian (Brett)
Michelle (stays the same)
Basically 4kids will ruin everything.

I actually don't think 20 Galaxies would change much -- it's already written for a general audience. I guess some of the more PG-rated elements would be toned down? There's some violence and darker/heavier elements in the later episodes. Fuse may be assigned a gender.
Lady Unlucky, though -- eep, that'd be a tough one. Aside from cutting the violence and strong language and all that obvious stuff, the basic story itself might have to change. Maybe they'd try to make Rowena into a superhero or a spy?

Ooh...
Future Agents would be transformed into "Awesome Agents."
Any guns would be turned into laser guns that can't kill. They would edit out any and all blood. Language would be taken out.
Bombs would be used as scare tactics rather than used to kill. There would be no themes of terrorism.
Someone would have a childish romance that would not contribute to the story in any way.
Also, all cleavage lines would be erased, any beer seen would be considered root beer, and the entire opening scene that sets up the premise of the movie would be taken out.
Amy would not hate Maddie because hating people is a very disrespectful thing to do. Instead, they would edit the dialogue. Amy's angry expressions would go unexplained.

Space Ranger Rinel? More like Space Ranger Rina. And all the problems are solved with stupid puzzle solving, little to no action and pointless talking. Also keep any character development to the bare minimum. All the music would be replaced with twangy, terrible guitar pop. The romance made more obvious and dialogue made kid friendly.

I'd like to think Xoxo would stay the same, but we're talking about 4kids, so why not Sebastian or something like that.

Nyoto, holy shit. Everything there would have to be taken out. No sex, no drugs, no violence, no blood, no crime, no swearing, no tits, no murder. Shit, there goes all the appeal.
That and Pirupi would be a girl, plus Nyoto would get together with Kuru. And no one is gay, and no one is supplying blood or snorting cocaine or dying. Fucking lame man.
Nyoto - Nina Pirupi- Penelope Kyoko - Katelyn Kuru- Kyle Bara - Billy 2007 Experience is another story all together.... Jesus would have to be completely omitted, the ending scene in episode 1 cut, and that takes away the entire appeal (It was a one shot anyways) Chisaki would be Carrie. That's really it.[/spoiler] |

I'd love to see 4kids versions of Tokyo Fetish mew and Magcial Nyoto Chan. xD
I imagine that the story of Sandor goes to school would be about Sandor going to school to lecture Kai that being a couch potato is bad, instead of being about Sandor trying to murder him. Kai's name would be changed to Ken and all violent scenes would be edited.

This hasn't Been posted in for A while but I'm starting it Again! Oh wow they'd Have to change A LOT about Moon Goddess Sakura-Chan- They'd have to remove Yiffyiff's entire CHARACTER lol Everything he says is NSFW! xD Also, theyd get rid of all the yuri, and the scenes where Sakura Violently murders people (whiche are important to the Plot...). xD Also all the political Stuff would have to go... especially Sakura's sexist Tumblr SJW-ness which is A HuGE aspect of her Personality lol. The Basic plot would Stay the Same probably but they'd censor a Lot of the violenCea and get Rid of THE assassins, Drugs, sex, etc. But then again I dont' See why 4kids would even consider DUBbing a fanime that Involves {Spoilers for UPCOMING episodes oF Season 1}

Marco spouts horrible kid friendly jokes and pop culture references. All character development for him is gone. Also give him a crush on Kino, there needs to be more romance.

Genko Hates Her Life - There would be no swearing. And the "eat a dick" (Now called "Eat booger cake".) with send douche bro blasting off, rather than setting him on fire. Also, Genko will be called "Gina"
Mi-Pie - Isaiah would not exist because 4kids would be too scared to show him. (Which really defeats the purpose.) Also, no swearing in that dub.
Penalty All About - 4kids would pull what DiC did with Sailor Moon. That is turning the Lesbian characters into cousin. Viv would actually be a girl and again, no swearing. (Good grief, I have a sailor mouth, yo.) I would say more but I gotta release more episodes, man. ;u; All the characters would have normal names, like Moxanne would be changed to Roxanne (Or Roxy, if 4kids is that lazy to have a name more than 5 letters.)
