I also poofed away for a long time, and came back under a completely different name. I snuck up on a few old friends, but pretty much let people come find me... I remember Nuci found me on dA because one of my submissions had my name on it and she recognized it. That was the day I realized I probably shouldn't put my full name on the internet. lol Kisaka, why was your YouTube account suspended for over a year? I don't remember that... but then again, it may have been during the time that I was gone. YOU TALK LIKE IT'S BAD I RECOGNIZED YOU  I honestly had stumbled across you before then but I didn't want to be like "HEY YOU" since you were obviously trying not to be... known. XD On topic though, I just found this person with a series called 20 Galaxies  Anyone heard of it? Seems nice.  Hahaha, not bad. I'm actually flattered that you recognized me, but it's weird to think that people you've never met can remember your real name. lol But I'm glad I've kept in contact with you. And I love geminicblue. She did those headshot requests that were just beautiful.  I wish she had more followers. |

I don't remember that... but then again, it may have been during the time that I was gone. I had a lot of copyrighted material, and seemingly all at once I got those accursed strikes on my account (aside from one that I had gotten months before the rest) and the next time I tried to log in, it told me I had gotten the 3 strikes you're out and said my account was suspended. However, I realized I had gotten it back quite some time ago when I got an email notice saying someone subscribed to me. Of course I thought "How? This email was linked to my mojocrystaltokyo account..." but low and behold, all 3 strikes expired and I got my account back. I'm guessing I got it back right around the time that YouTube changed it's rules, the ones that state if your account doesn't change it's standing in 6 months after the strike, it goes away. |

Copyright strikes do go away after six months, but I guess your account can be terminated completely. I remember when Sony slammed everyone for copyright. Isn't that who got MisdermeanerJ?

Yes, I did. It was quite strange, but a wonderful surprise when it happened! When I work on projects, I hope people get excited about it, but I have to hold back from spoiling anything, even if I know it'll take forever to come out with the full series. Well I'm about half a year late x-x
Right now I'm most interested in "ODD 4." It made Pani Poni Dash worth watching for the references and overall the style matches the kinds of animes I watch. (School rumble, Kill me baby, Lucky Star, Ouran Highschool host club, Dokkoida!? (the exclamation and question mark is part of the name), Sgt. Frog, etc.)
I haven't gotten around to fully watching any fanimes from most of the people in this forum yet so I can't say the ones I haven't seen are my favorite right now. (I plan to watch them sometime)

Well this topic is active again so I'm gonna say I really enjoy Kawaii Schoolgirl. To an embarrassing extent. There's also Terra Lucis which oh man that looks cool as heckie.
I can't really answer for current fanimes because most of the ones I've seen are really old fanimes like Akuji Tavarious and Eternal. But there are some fanimes I've seen around Tumblr and stuff that look pretty neat. I need to watch Magical Girl School and Gosuto Kurabu. They both look really interesting and well animated. Also Space Ranger Rinel looks so damn cute, I'm excited for that.

I don't know if it counts as a fanime or not though but it is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. roosterteeth.com/archive/?id=7872&v=moreI stayed up all night to watch all 16 episodes and all the trailers (the "red" "white" "black" and "yellow" trailers are sooo good) when I found it not that long ago. If this counts as fanime, it is definitely my favorite. It's so funny and the fight animations are so cool! |

Aww, I didn't think it did but I wasn't sure. I guess it's more called an "indie anime"? I'm pretty new to YouTube fanime so there's still a lot that I haven't seen. I'm watching some that were posted in this thread right now. :3 But, the ones I have seen and like are Gosuto Kurabu and Nyan~ Neko Sugar Girls. I like Shin-chan and Gosuto Kurabu's art reminds me of it and Nyan~ Neko Sugar Girls is too wonderful but it's famous so everyone already knows. Does wolf anime count as fanime? There was a really good one but I forgot the name. I think the creator was inspired by Wolf's Rain which is an anime so that's why I ask. And before I knew that there were many fanime on YouTube I watched flashes on Newgrounds for a long time. I like one called Surface (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/245907). It only has two episodes but the second one is split in two videos. It has such good mystery and cool atmosphere, I'm so sad that it looks like it will never be finished. ;_; |
