I learned recently 5 animators and 1 voice actor take up the challenge of Makeing a animation in 48 hours there called The Jam Cave I adore the idea and i know theirs talk about a animation session on and off now and again. from what i understand the script is pre made and a basic plot, The voice actor works with the animation and everyhting goes with in the order. from observation 1. Story Bord/ basic shape of the main character and characters 2. Character Sheets/ voice actor starts his or her recordings while looking at refs being sent 3. Animation broken up between the 5 animators 4. once the 48 hours are over th animation is sent off to be edited and music/sound effects attached There are scattered thrity minute breaks and some times one of the guys takes a nap i believe, but the matter is someone is always working.i find this method very effetive and easyer too apply too a fanime animation marathon (i know a few of you stay up pretty darn late too) What are your guys thoughts?

Yea its because people didnt know when they would be free, but i feel like if we had more time like 48 hours in the summer with 30 minute breaks , Maybe a team or something could come out of it. with plannning ahead of course

An idea like this sounds really awesome, actually. It would take a lot of organization and mutual understanding as well as schedules that would allow as such, but it is completely within capabilities which makes it that much more exciting to think about.

Well Since i brought it up i could slap togther A schedule and see where we could go from there, june would be a good time too plan/have sign ups and such, and the actual production could be in july. Off the top of my head though for the roles that would need too be filled would be:
-5-6 animators all with the same programs -a Story Director -Skype so the animators can comunicate while working -live stream program so the entire comunity could watch the event - 1-2 voice actors - and a Editor to slapp all of it togther after the animators are done so theres less stress on the animators who participates part
