I don't know if there is a thread about what the fanime first hear about and what was our first fanime stuff, etc and what was the first fanime we, or I created etc. IDK. But I leave up to that.
Okay, I first discover and hear of fanime somewhere in 2007 I believe and I know my first fanime I saw was Element Goddess by Diamnt88, a sailor moon fan series I believe and I kinda like the drawing I used to be friend of her on youtube and I hear a bit she quit making those fanime stuff I haven't hear of her for awhile or what she been up too. On the following year I did a video of my character name Zorma and made my first fanime I suppose call "An Zorma Day" (was a short movie) on youtube (you probably must have seen it or view a few time. I use to do little of fanime stuff on 2007-2008; 2008 I did Team Rocket K two on Drawing World - but until 2009 I start do my fan anime movie until I stop on 2011. But today since I hear about the fanime but since i'm back to the internet community and back business, glad to be part of it and I suppose the community for fanime is now becoming stronger for and making its awesome for all artist and fanimator making fan anime our next era to become the "next anime".
Excuse me for my bad English I hope you understand what i'm saying, sorry for the bad error grammar

Let's see..... back in 2010-2011, I was SUPER obsessed with TvTropes ( sometimes for my own good.... ^^;.) I discovered fanimes like Tokyo Crystal Mew. My first fanime was Nyan~Neko Sugar Girls. ( I'm just gonna say this, the creator got most of us all good. XD.) It was only 2014 that I started watching more fanime, starting from Kawaii Schoolgirl and even create my own fanime, like Penalty All About *, Carrot Fluffs *, Mi-Pie, and Genko Hates Her Life. * It's in a visual novel style to make my life more easier. :33

Back in early 2008, I was watching caramelldansen videos. So I discovered people like Zayashuku, Chii24, (even Tacky), etc. through related videos. So I thought that there wasn't any black people interested in animation/making their own series until I discovered Zayashuku. Oh my god. I was amazed at how skilled she was, so I took it upon myself to learn how to animate and improve on my art. When fanime died in like 2010, so did a lot of my motivation to do my series, especially since college was right around the corner. I discovered a few fanime here and there during that break like QUEST, Tsuki Desu, Tokyo Magic Star, Nyan Neko Sugar Girls (all because of my friend, muchneato, whom I love to death). But I picked right back up after I graduated from college in May and met a lot of people. I look forward to the future of fanime. :>

I did have to ask you something where did you find the FireAlpaca it look good to use for drawing. MOD EDIT: If you wish to contact another user personally, please private message them so as not to derail the thread.

I am a fanime veteran, son. I go way back. My first fanime was probably Eternal. Probably around mid-2007 before the first episode was even uploaded. And then came Elemental Goddess, Illusions Dreams, ELFS, a whole lot. Of course it was all magical girl and only a few of them actually got made, but at least I can say I was there since the beginning.

I discovered fanime in Summer of 2014. My younger brother TenshiHanka got really into fanime and showed me a few of them and after seeing Project Unknown I became really interested in it. I decided to create a fanime of my own called Sandor Goes To School, and after I posted it on the forum I got to know the fanime community.

I learned about fanime through Youtube's suggestions, a couple years ago I think. When I started posting videos there for 20 Galaxies, the recommendations that popped up on the sidebar were fanimes.

I started posting animations on Youtube in 2007 but was invited to into the community (known at the time as 'Fanime World') by Chii24 in 2008

My friend had discovered Chii24 and Sutsuki332 in late 2007/early 2008 and was inspired to make animations. So she made a magical girl transformation. I saw it and thought it was cool that these were kids my age making animations and getting lots of subscribers, so I decided to try my hand at it.
I sucked at animating, but I kept trying. And eventually, I got pretty decent. Thanks to Nuciferyne, she encouraged me to keep trying and I made the Danjo video of some of my characters. And from then on, I was hooked.

Before this story, I was already into art and animation after watching Soul Eater and Higurashi, sooooo yeah just wanted to say that...
About 2 years, I was watching some top 10 list about Sonic. I forgot what the top 10 was about, but whatever. Anyway, after I was done watching, I found a fanime opening (I forgot what it was) in the related videos, which I clicked on by accident. Through that opening, I found Fanime Reviews and ended up watching all of her videos. After watching those, I didn't hear about fanime for a while...That is until a year later I found one of ThunderPwnage's videos through floating around other peoples' Let's Watch's. Let's just say I subscribed to them...! Looked up fanime on youtube and tumblr and then BOOM! I discovered the fanime community!

Do you still have that Danjo video up? I haven't seen it. If so, send me a link. Chii24 not only introduced me to Fanime World, she was partly responsible for the De-luscious VAs. One of them being Sutsuki. Infact, she did some voice work for me last August on a sneak peek video which I'm currently working on.

Sutsuki332 that name I think she was my friend too but I add her on Skype - she said about who this and she block me, I don't remember I was friend of her so that name is making remember my memories and it coming back what is she up too.
I think they were best friend - her and Chiichan24 I check of the real life photo of them they meet in personal, yeaa. what happen to her despite that I was separated and all of that stuff yea since I couldn't find her anymore or never hear of her from the light of day.
What happen to Sutsuki332, that was somewhere 2008-2009 where I was friend of her too and alongside with Chiichan24 too. I cant believe I forgot that name.

Woooow, well how I got into Fanime? It is a pretty funny story.
When I was still some little kid my mom grounded me from internet and my computer for a whole year - so one time when no one was at home I sneaked onto my brothers computer and went to youtube and stumbled over the freshly uploaded Toya transformation (Or TCM episode but I remember watching the transformation of Toya very well lmao, I think it was only the transformation) I was so happy because it was a Mew Mew Fanseries and at that time I was so into Tokyo Mew Mew and worked on my little fanstory as well. So, whenever noone was at home I sneaked onto the computer and looked if they posted something new and also discovered various other selfmade animations, those weren't from Fanimators though. I also found out that Tokyo Mew Mew was an Anime and that made me so happy.
Sadly I didn't understand anything because well, I was only 11/12. So for the sake to understand TCM and TMM (I watched TCM episodes and tried to understand what's going on from looking at the animations but EH it was a bit HARD) I sat down with my German-English dictionary, translated every vocable I didn't understand from the subtitles of the TMM episodes and retwatched the scene until I understood what was said completely. I recall spending the whole winter, spring and summer looking up words lmaoo
In the end I was able to tell what was going on in TCM but the dadspeech still threw me off
Not much later, when I got a tablet I decided to animate myself and started with little transformations. :]

Sutsuki Still voices one of my characters and a caricature of her will be featured in a dancing trading card game that I'm working on. As for Chii. I lost contact with her 2011ish
