For me it actually all kicked off with one of my most inspiring animators out there, known on YT as Mellavelli who is currently creating Dragonball Absalon! ( his 3rd episode coming out this year) Since his first episode in 2012 happened ( I didn't watch until 2013 came), I got so hyped, excited to the bone and inspired beyond all else! It was then that whilst watching his videos I became curious to see if there are other series out there, though I wasn't actually aware of fanime at the time. I started watching openings and such. After some weeks or so, I then came across YinYang and started watching her episodes in 2013. One thing led to another, (I'd already been tinkering on the idea of making my own series by this time) I discovered more fanime episodes and became more attached to it. . .and then I started to talk to people, and still am. There you have it, now you're stuck with me.

I actually found the fanimation community though a classmate at the time, MissdermeanerJ (I hope a few of you recognize this name!) back in early-2008. She saw me doodling anime in the class we had (mind you the rare thing we even had a class because she was a grade ahead of me) and was like OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE. Or something like that but yes it was that enthusiastic and yes she was practically yelling at me in excitement. She had old series called Impulse, as well as Elementals at the time, before she officially started Iiya Mahou Ai (Now Incartio: Magic Academy) as her main series. I think most of our friendship was actually online because after that she became a freshman in highschool and I was stuck in middle school o.e
I got really inspired and began watching a lot of other fanimes after that. I wanted to make my own but my art was nowhere near what I was envisioning and my stories were pretty generic at the time. So I mostly did speedpaints and dabbled in animation a tiny bit while I enjoyed fanimes like Elemental Goddess by Diamant88, Eternal by MelodyFan12, GuardianAngel by Lottichan (probably my favorite), and other cool ones back in the day~ Maybe that's why mine has some magical girl tendencies without actually being one o.e

You two seemed pretty close to me. haha That's awesome how that worked out though! Glad to have you here!

Back in 2009, I was really obsessed with amvs and stuff like that and I ended up watching this video by rounzei and I would rewatch all the stuff available on the list. I was stupid and didn't realize I could just search fanime for other stuff that wasn't on the list. Fanime always had a special place in my heart like seriously I memorized that song because I watched the video so much. This was a time when I actually went outside to play and youtube was banned (I was such a rebel) so I drifted away from fanime for a bit. Then in 2015 I came across thunderpwnage, a youtube channel for making fun of fanimes, and in one video they said there aren't any good fanimes so I looked up fanime and found a whole bunch of fanimes that were really good. I watched Magical Girls School and was like I might make one but then The Antagonist was my final motivation to start making a fanime.
So yeah.. I was here for a while but no one probably knew lol >_>

I was wondering if you knew her in person. You two seemed pretty close to me. haha That's awesome how that worked out though! Glad to have you here! We're still good friends the only problem is now I'm at college and she's working all the time xD She was actually helping me work on my character Genesis' design a few weeks back when I was struggling over it. I always text her stuff I'm working on if I get stuck nowadays. She's an amazing support system. (The sneaky devil no longer shares anything with my about hers because of spoilers! >3> She wants me to react the same as everyone else lol)

Well, it happened that February, whille i was browsing on a Ipad app called Drawcast, a person called Gliscor posted some pictures of nyan neko sugar girls, so i searched about it and i watched it and it and i liked it. Then i watched some other troll fanime and then i stubled on Scribbits magical girl school, and i loved it. So then i thought: " hey Constantina, you can do a fanime too" and then i started working on supper secret witchcraft club

I discovered fanime back in 2012, My first fanime was.. (idk)... But all i remember is the first one i fell in love with was magical girl school. I found fanime by searching up "My Anime Opening" or "Fanmade anime" and "Fanmade magical girl transformations." I thought they were cool and i always wanted to make a anime opening AND THAT WAS WHEN I FOUND FANIME!!! pretty sure my first fanime was ying yang.
But then i watched Tokyo Fetish Mew and Magical Girl School and that's what made me make Into The Stars and KYU. and maybe Lira The Magical. idk BUT I LOVE MAGICAL GIRLS!!! XDDDDD
So thats my story about how i found fanime.

I've known about it for a while, since 2009. But I wasn't really sure if it was my cup of tea. I seen few and was completely turned off until about last year when I made what I did unknowingly my first fanime. The idea was quickly scrapped and I began doing other things but was very very interested in fanime after that point.

HELLOS!!!! As I used to post here also, since I deleted my account but came back...
I use to hear of fanime when youtube were around these time when I hear about diamnt88, Melody88 I think, smulimum I believe and others they used to be my friends it was around 2007-08', back then. My first fanime movie was "An Zorma Day" some of you guys remember that movie or not it was upload in the fall of 2007-- but I wasn't part of it yet-- until 2009 I became part in the fanime community-- then I quit the fanime community/ and the internet community since 2011- my last fanime movie was "Mystery of K Bander Two" my childhood/ nostalgic story that I use to like of "The Story of Three Bears" - a classic fairy tale, it was my last one.. Well I quit the internet community since 2011, then I officially stopped around 2013 and never hear again.. Well 2012-13' I was on for little bit.
I remember those time in the fanime community, 2007-2010/2011 it was the time until now things are changing for a bit time to time... Well I don't have a first fanime, well I think I do remember diamnt88 fanime of Sailor Moon I remember seening some part of it and I used to be friend of her/him, good time.. Well when I developed my fanime series on December 2014, few others I did hear of Fanime Update abit and others then I saw "ChibiGissy" "Genko Hate Her Life" her fanime OVA sometime the end of the year or early this year, around that time on 2015 since I'm now back to the fanime community..
I was 15-16 on 2007, when I hear fanime... Then I used to make my first 4 fanime movies, but now i'm returning to make another 5th fanime movie again.

I think it was in early-mid 2007, when I was really into Magical Girl I watched Nanoha on youtube and searched for more Magical Girl stuff when I discovered some selfmade transformations (I can't remember from which animator though). I thought I'd like to try creating one by myself. ♪
