Plot: Annabelle (Anna) and her friend Devon go on their annual hike when Anna discovers that she has powers she never knew she had. This unlocks weapons, abilities, and great mysteries and secrets of this world.
This is planned to be a long-running fanime. Each episode is planned to be around 15 minutes long and uploaded in 3 parts around the 5 minute marks. I am currently looking for voices for the three Main Characters and one Side Character. Casting will end on June 26.
I have a BTVA Page if you would like to post there, but all auditions must be sent to my e-mail ((chibiookamigirl@hotmail.com)) as mp3's. Send the lines as "[Character] Line [#]" with each line as a separate file (multiple tries per line are fine). Auditions for multiple characters per e-mail is fine. E-mails should be titled as: "[Username] Unlock! Audition - [Character(s)]".
The three main characters require singing auditions. You can either sing just the chorus or the full song. You can upload this to YouTube titled "Unlock! [character] Song Audition--[Username]". If you do this, send me a link to in the audition e-mail. Otherwise, the original file must be sent in the audition e-mail (even with uploading to YouTube, just in case something goes wrong).
Characters:
Annabelle (Anna) Rainford -- Anna can be rather practical. She is also very kind. She enjoys photography and nature. She aims to become a professional photographer in the future, though that may change very soon.
Voice type: Medium-high. Cute yet mature.
Line 1: "I... don't think we should go in there. It could be a trap!"
Line 2: "If we cannot get around them, then... we just have to go through them. It'll be a fight, but that's what we signed up for."
Line 3: "How could you do this? This... this is madness... and I won't stand down any longer! Aaaaaaah!"
Song: "Stars Dance" by Selena Gomez
Devon Elmeron -- Devon is rather adventurous and teasing. He plays guitar, acts, and sings. He plans on getting into acting, after joining the military--which may not to as planned when everything changes.
Voice type: Medium. Fun yet mature.
Line 1: "Oh, come on! It'll be fun!"
Line 2: "I'm... sorry... I didn't realize what would happen... I'll make sure it never happens again."
Line 3: "I. Am going. To kill him. No one messes with my friends."
Song: "Waiting for Superman" by Daughtry
Eliot Duvo -- Eliot is calm, cool, and very sweet. He enjoys reading and writing—especially poetry. He is studying to become a veterinarian, which may actually be rather helpful later on.
Voice type: Medium-deep. Charming.
Line 1: "You look as radiant as the stars."
Line 2: "Sometimes life just isn't as it seems. Not everything is so simple."
Line 3: "You really believe what you say, don't you? Then that will be your downfall."
Song: "The Poet and The Muse" by Poets of the Fall
Pearl Desfield -- Anna's Grandmother. Enjoys knitting and household things. Retired after working in a clothing and fabric store for many years.
Line 1: "Are you going to go hiking with Devon today?"
Line 2: "I believe in you, my dear. I know you and I know that you can do anything you put your mind to."
Line 3: "I love you, my dear Annabelle. You are a truly wonderful granddaughter."
