No, your eyes have not deceived you. It's time to get the creative juices flowing, if you want to participate in this event/art game, post an original character or make your own. If you wish to spectate that's fine too, here are the guidelines for those who will be participating.
Rules:
1.) Have fun
2.) Be creative
3.) Don't believe in yourself, believe in them... Believe in the friends that believe in you
Now that we have a foundation of rules, we will move forward to the proceeding steps.
As previously stated original characters are the only exception, but don't fret if you want ideas try out the random character creator presented in the spoilers. Although there aren't that many options from them, I tried my best to make them as simple as possible. I'll be a participant in this event/art game, so I'll be posting my character as well.
First we have our Player Card template, each of different flavors.
Color Flavor
White = Mist
Brown = Earth
Blue = Ocean
Red = Blaze
Yellow = Solar
Green = Nature
Pink = Noise
I'll further explain the fields presented on the Player Card.
Name - Character's name, you may add any titles they go by. Example: John Smith "The Blacksmith"
Character - Character's physical appearance, front view and full body shot would be recommended but not required.
For the sake of relativity your character is required to wear at least one piece of cook-related apparel, be it an apron, bib, chef hat, etc...
Signature Item - This part is optional, if your character uses special items like weapons, potions, transformation triggers, etc. you would display them here.
Creator - Character creator's name, just a signature to show who takes credit for creating the character.

When using the character generators, it is best to look at each one of them individually, by opening their SPOILER and viewing it before moving on to the next SPOILER. To use the generators:
1.) Open one of the spoilers to a part you want, for example the Player Card
2.) Press the "PRTSC SYSRQ" on your keyboard, which stands for Print Screen
3.) Open up a drawing program like Paint and press/click the paste button
To open Paint : (Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Paint)
4.) You will then see the option that it chose for you, congratulations
