While Ooro had tried to take a breather from the previous events, it would seem that one recruit after the other began to find themselves heading out into the woods. She raised an eyebrow upon seeing her closer companions disappear in the darkness. There was a ruckus to be heard that caused Ooro's ears to stand upright as they returned to their beastly state. Her eyebrows drew together with concern as the thoughts raced through her mind. They weren't under attack, were they?
Stealthily, she trailed behind the recruits in the treetops as she did with many wanderers of the woods long before. Her eyes widened with horror upon discovering the crushed fearen bodies sprawled about in their own blood. The imp profusely apologized in a panicked manner, before curling up into a ball. What's going on?
That's when she noticed the frightened mother clinging to her child desperately. At least, Ooro thought it was her child, until squinting to realize the docile figure's red seams that ran along his surface. They were the tell-tale mark of a fearen, but nothing added up to her. This fearen didn't exactly fit the profile of the monsters, as it took a form much similar to their own. She had only caught the end of what Celty muttered...
She realized that the figure the mother had coddled was bestowed with the same hair color as her own. Oxy? Ooro had barely spoken to the two, and knew nothing of their origins. Even if she had, would it really explain the situation? Never had she considered that such a phenomenon was possible for a fearen to be born to a different race, but perhaps that wasn't the situaton? The questions circled endlessly in her mind, not being able to grasp the implications of what she witnessed.
"You'd just kill him anyways once I was gone. I was foolish to think otherwise..." Who was she speaking to? As Ooro leaned in just a tad bit further, she could make out the familiar shape of a certain time-mage. He appeared distraught, even unsettled along with many others who had surrounded them. For the time being, Ooro watched among the branches in silence as the woman came to Oxy's defense.

Zerah at least tried to keep the campfire atmosphere going, telling of a fallen god who ate crooks in the night. He chuckled slightly at the story, realizing his sins would make for the perfect death-god snack. A thief to the core, it seemed. "Luair-!" He half-heartedly shouted before watching her run off into the wilderness to check out all the commotion. He opted to follow Luair's advice, but only for a bit unless she screamed for help. That plan wasn't going to last, as screams rang out all across the colosseum. He elected to ignore it, but soon it just got annoying. Grumbling, he got up from his seat to check the commotion, only to discover that it was settled. As settled as a prank gone horribly wrong could ever be, since everyone was scolding the little imp and looking at the little boy weirdly. Whether or not this had any significance on the group dynamic, he couldn't care less.
Everything seemed to crash in on Osseus, and there was no way he wanted stay awake to face any more bullshit. He grabbed out as many articles of clothing as possible for his bag as a makeshift blanket and curled up near the fire. His eyes lowered as he attempted to drift into a half-way decent slumber considering the commotion. If anyone wanted him to do anything, or if a campfire game/story telling session came up, they'd have to wake him for that themselves. There was no way he'd miss out on those kinds of things.

"He's just scared," She whispered, "He's a child, what do you expect? I'm all he knows. I wanted to change that, to make a world he could feel safe in." She tightened her grip on him, refusing to let him go. "But even if I succeeded, he could never be accepted for what he is, right? You'd just kill him anyways once I was gone. I was foolish to think otherwise..." Enoch let out frustrated grunt as he pinched the bridge of his nose between his fingers, trying to process everything she was telling him. There was a lot of heart-string tugging information in there that he needed to prevent from clouding his judgment. But while she had been speaking, a crowd started to form. Several other people had gathered around them, and this was no longer solely his burden to bear. Now with this much awareness, they could all keep a collective watch on the child. If something, Archex forbid, were to happen... The priest sighed and stared down at Oxy once again. He didn't want to hurt or outcast the toddler. He was at a complete loss. This was the same kid that had just been leaning against him at the campfire moments ago. The same one that introduced Galystris with such a smile. The same one that helped save Ooro. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the bloodied corpses of the hound fearen. The same one that summoned those fearen. Enoch looked back at Celty, starting to speak coldly. "Celty, can he control himself, or are we one night, going to wake up surrounded by fearen that he accidentally summoned? What are we supposed to think? What are we supposed to do?? I sure as hell don't want to--" He lost control of his tone for as he grew more visibly upset than he intended, taking a moment of silence to regain composure. It didn't matter what he wanted or didn't want to do. "I'm going to ask you the same question as I did that night. And I want a truthful answer." He glanced around at the group. Daryn, Galystris, Manasa, Zerah, Luair, Altheron, they were all within earshot. His sharp gaze returned to the woman in front of him. "Can he control his powers? Is he a threat?" If she lied to him now, she would be lying to everyone.

Mimisko kept running. She wanted to know if all is okay. Just then, a red bird with a message in the bottle flew to her. Mimisko recognized this bird.
"Heiyato?! How are you still here?"
The bird lets go of the bottle for Mimisko to catch it. She opens it, takes the message out, and read what it says. It reads:
"Hey Mimisko,
It seems Heiyato has observes that your in Shadow Slayers. Congrates Kid. You never believe how much I am proud of you. Even though I was sick of mom talking about Kama at one point, he is at least smart enough to start this guild.
By the way, have you been hearing voices from mom. Because I have been hearing them from dad. Guess this is what I get for hating him after what he did before he married mom.
Well, Maybe it's not as bad as I make it out to be but you get what I'm trying to say.
Again, I am really proud of you making it this far. And I'm happy the the Shadow Slayers helped you out. Sorry that I was so stubborn in the past.
Your Brother, Kelemio"
"Kelemio is still alive..?"
Heiyato nodded. Mimisko felt teary-eyed. It's started out as joy but then she made a grim realization.....her father is also dead. It was from the sentences "By the way, have you been hearing voices from mom. Because I have been hearing them from dad."
"Dad...I'm sorry..."
Mimisko cried for abit. However, she couldn't just sit there.
"Heiyato, can you view by the campfire near by until I prepare a letter for Kelemio?"
Heiyato nodded and flew near the campfire. Mimisko wiped the tears off her eyes. She kept running until she was near what was going on.
"Hey, I heard Celty screamed! Did something...!...happened?"
As she got there, it seems like some sort of convoluted mess. What's going on with Oxy? What happened with Zerah? What happened with Celty? All these questions and more are popping up in Mimisko's mind.
"What's....going on?"
Mimisko felt speechless and nervous. She wasn't to sure what to say. What's happening within the guild members?!

"Hey Mr.Oxy." She spoke softly and kindly. "You don't need to worry, nobody's gonna harm you or your mother" She said, in an attempt to calm the child down. "We're here to help, don't worry." Oxy glanced at Galystris suspiciously, uncomfortable with the conversations surrounding like he wasn't there at all. He may be young, but he could pick up when people were talking about him. He reached over to the cloak in Celty's hand and plucked it out of her grasp, fastening the barely-intact pendant and allowing the illusion to fall into place once more. If anyone else from the camp came now, at least the sight of him wouldn't cause more chaos, although he did this purely because he felt naked without it and it provided him with some comfort. He wrapped the edges around his arms and sniffled, leaning into his mother. He rubbed his fingers over the embroidery Manasa had done, trying to distract himself from the scary talk the adults were discussing. Celty knew she was not in a position to try and weave another tale. It was time to be as honest as she could, but before she could open her mouth, a small warning flickered in the back of her mind. I'm still off the table, sweetheart. Say a word about me and I'll slit that child's throat. But go on, damn him now if you want to. She bit her lip. So perhaps she could just...skip over the part about the witch for now. She wasn't lying if she just didn't mention it, right? She took a deep breath, her arms still wrapped around her child as though he was going to vanish from her grasp if she loosened them for a moment. "He is fine...as long as you don't touch him," she winced a bit at this revelation of information, but she tried to keep eye contact with Enoch so he could see she was being sincere this time. "You've never been a fearen, so you don't know what it's like, but I have. If he doesn't make skin-to-skin contact, he's perfectly safe to be around. I-I can find him some new clothes, cover him better if that's what you wish." It was clear this was hard for her, as covering her son would mean a lack of mobility on his part. If he couldn't properly shift his hands, he might as well be just a normal human child, but excuses wouldn't help her right now. "Rylan knew about this," She added quickly, and her son stiffened at the mention of the name, "and he accepted him still. It's an easy thing to work around. The fearen-calling is something new. It killed--." She cut herself off before rushing forward again. "It almost killed him in the last battle. I don't want him using is anyways." She fidgeted uncomfortably. To her, it felt like she was checking things off a list of reasons to kill him on the spot with each uncertainty she revealed. "If we kill off all the fearen--if we stop this--it won't matter anymore though, will it? Maybe...maybe that part of him will vanish too if we win. Then he can be normal, and you'll never have to hear from us again." It sounded like a pipe dream, but it was one of things that had been keeping her going. That if these fearen were some sort of curse on humanity, if it was broken, her son too would be freed of it. Or he'd...he'd...she couldn't bare to finish the thought. Oxy looked up at Enoch after his mother rattled off secrets she'd been forcing him to keep quiet about for a year now. He too felt very squeamish having Celty put to words all her insecurities about him in a few sentences. Despite this, he didn't have to do any pretending, as he never had been anything but sincere. Right now he was scared, frustrated, and not enjoying being in the spot light one bit.

"What kind of life..." Alroth stepped forward from out of the trees. Having been monitoring everyone via Sparky, Pinky had of course kept up with the little charade. Now that she was here in person, Sparky was back near the campfire keeping eyes on the abandoned half of the guild.
"What kind of life do you expect it to live?" she asked, thinking much farther ahead than the current situation. She'd had her fair share of immediate reactions, but the others' questions had given her little mind more time to think over the circumstances. "If it can't touch anyone without killing them, but it has feelings like a person... What kind of life can it lead? It will be an outcast no matter what - it won't fit in anywhere no matter what." she said as an unseen tear formed in her eye.
Alroth stepped forward again, closer still to the center of the commotion. "You should never have let it grow up. Send it to an afterlife where maybe it can find peace - it won't have any here." the metal warrior concluded, mace in hand. Pinky didn't have the highest expectations for this perspective to go over well.

She looked intently at the child, who now looked as he usually did. She heard what Pinky had said, but it only fueled her opinion. She looked up at Celty and began to speak. "Look, lady. I've seen things in these past few weeks that I never could have dreamed up in my whole life. Sure I didn't know what your child was, but you know what? I didn't know what a Fish-canyon was. I had never seen a fairy. I never met an elf and I still don't know what Ooro is." She looked back down at Oxy. "I might not know exactly what he can do, but if you know how to control his outbursts, I say, why make this innocent's life any worse than it already is?" She breathed out hotly, controlling her own emotions on the subject for her own sake. "We're in this together now. We're a team now. Celty, I'm willing to trust you and your child, if you can only trust us enough to warn us if he's become a danger to his teammates."

Mimisko heard out Celty said and what the others would say on the matter with Oxy. She doesn't fully understand what is going on and why Zerah is involved but she kinda get what's going on with Oxy.
"I don't think killing Oxy is the right thing to do." Mimisko bravely said "I know he's only half fearen but thing is..."
Mimisko paused for a moment.
"Oxy may not be as dangerous as we think as he might grow up."
Her tone became more serious
"I have hope that the Shadow Slayers will give Ignis a brighter future. And once that bright fure will come."
She looks at Oxy.
"Maybe we can find a way to help Oxy live a normal life."

Manasa struggled to firmly hold onto the child, afraid that if she were to let go he would go running off once more. Yet ultimately, the boy's own strength outmatched her own. Het slashed at Manasa's cloak and in turn her, freeing himself and running towards the comfort of his own mother. Manasa feel backwards to the ground with a cry, her cloak fluttering down in two pieces in front of her. A deep slash on her unprotected arm formed, puffing up in a light yellow brown hue before leaking out a spill of golden blood. The vishkanyan let out a pained cry, clamping her eyes shut and doing her best to hold the large wound with her small, dainty hand. She shut out the world around her unto a very familiar set of stinging words snapped her back to the conversation at hand.
The words from Pinky's mouth echoed the very same Manasa's brother would say whenever his actions needed justification. Manasa look towards the suit of armor and then towards the child in his mother's arms, realizing that had it been a few weeks ago she would have said the very same. Manasa opened her mouth to speak, yet the words became lost and mixed up in her throat. "I..."

Altheron, having now caught his breath completely, brought his head back up to get a full grasp on the situation at hand. Almost the entire guild was now present in this patch of forest, splitting their attention between the mischievous imp and the two shapeshifters, the younger of the two....... what? Altheron blinked twice in utter shock. The boy, the one who he had played the game of "tag" with and made winged fearen in the snow with, had taken on the resemblance of one of the most frightening beasts he had encountered since he first set foot on Ignis. He listened as one by one, his friends took turns eyeing the child and giving their two cents about his apparently true form, all the while doing some observing of his own. Not just on the child, but rather through him. Blocking out the noise, he stared intently at the child's soul, drawing conclusions of his own as he noted it's bright red hue. The soul in itself was pure, save for a few faint splotches of black along the outside, something he could not quite find an explanation for. He tried to alert his guildmates of his discovery when his attention was brought over to Zerah, who had been sobbing as Luair stood by, trying to console him. Figuring since Celty and Oxy had their hands full trying to explain themselves, Altheron crawled over to the two, when- "He..he wants my body...th-that badly...he...nearly k-killed me...." Zerah mumbled to himself. He looked back up at everyone, nothing but terror in his eyes. He began to scoot backwards like a cornered animal until he backed up into a tree and jumped in fear. "I...I'm s-so sorry....It...it wasn't...s-supposed to be...like this...." "H-huh?" The imp's condition was worse than it looked like from the place Altheron was initially kneeling in. Globs of tears fell from Zerah's eyes as he stumbled on his words, with each making less sense as the sentence dragged on. Not too long ago, he was up and about, telling the team his stories about the fictional monster god who roamed forests like these with the largest grin on his face, but now.... now he was just sad to look at. The shaman stood on his knees as the small elf helped Zerah up, looking at the imp with a mix of worry and confusion in his eye. "I do not understand.... who is 'he'?" He thought back to Zerah's tale. With an audible gulp, he tried to eye the imp's soul over, but the images he found were just too confusing for him to get a clear read on. "Is it... Algarees?" he whispered, reaching for Zerah's arm before stroking it like he did back at camp, hoping it might calm him down enough to process an answer. "Can he control his powers? Is he a threat?" Altheron turned back toward the group, each member seeming to have developed a whole new shade of frustration toward the mother and child. He was taken back from Enoch's question. Based on what he saw a few moments ago, the child definitely wasn't something to be feared. His soul was innocent, it was just the vessel that was tainted, but there'd be no way for anyone else to know. Realizing this, the shaman immediately dropped the imp's arm and turned to Luair. "Just... stay with him, alright?", he instructed before leaving them for the others. "You should never have let it grow up. Send it to an afterlife where maybe it can find peace - it won't have any here." the metal warrior concluded, mace in hand. Pinky didn't have the highest expectations for this perspective to go over well. The shaman stopped dead in his tracks not too far along from the group when he heard the armor spit out his nonsense. "Wh..... what....? the shaman whispered to himself, completely in awe by the words spoken. " WHAT!?", he yelled, now glaring at Alroth. "You cannot take his life! He has done nothing to deserve it!".

Zerah looked to Luair for a moment, then to Altheron, fear completely engulfing his face. He turned back towards the ground, still curled up into a ball, trying to muster up the courage to even stand. He couldn't tell them about Algarees, not now. Not ever...
"Leave the kid alone!" Zerah finally shouted.
Zerah stood up from the ground, still shaking like crazy. He stepped forward a bit, keep his head hung low, not wanting to look anyone in the eye. He put one hand over his arm, but quickly removed it, his face contorting in disgust.
"He...He's just a kid...He was scared....it....was, uh.....my fault...I didn't expect..what happened to happen.." Zerah didn't want to admit he had no control over the mask, but dishonesty would do know good in a situation like this. "I thought I could...control the mask....the whole..grabbing me and transforming......that wasn't supposed to happen....." Zerah shuddered.
Zerah finally mustered the courage to look at the group, a mix of frustration and fear in his eyes.
"It's not Oxy's fault you people can't see him as something other than a monster! Wanting to kill a child, just because of how they look. Then who's the real monsters here?" Zerah asked, more towards the hesitant members of the guild.

Luair felt it was all going to get out of hand. Conflicting opinions and heavy discussions were things best saved for later, and certainly not at a late hour. Not only that, being congregated in such an area led them to become vulnerable; to anything else out there. She scraped what dominance that was left over and spoke up.
'This has to end. We should all go back to the campfire.' She glanced over to the one in question. 'And that includes Oxy.' The Shadow Slayers was a group, and groups settle their differences not fight with them. She'd seen the remnants of those who chose to go with the latter. 'I propose we should leave in to the morning, by then we can come to a decision. As of now, we are not getting anywhere like this.' Luair herself was a child, albeit not in a behavioural aspect; she had yet to grow up. Seeing those discuss about a child so openly was hard to see. And from her experiences, words become harder and harder to forget.

"I might not know exactly what he can do, but if you know how to control his outbursts, I say, why make this innocent's life any worse than it already is?" She breathed out hotly, controlling her own emotions on the subject for her own sake. "We're in this together now. We're a team now. Celty, I'm willing to trust you and your child, if you can only trust us enough to warn us if he's become a danger to his teammates." Enoch sighed and eased up his hand on Celty's shoulder, sitting back and looking at the mother and child. Celty's answer was far more truthful than he'd been expecting. He was banking on having to take another vague promise at face value, but her frankness and openness put his mind at ease. If everyone just made sure to avoid skin to skin contact... The priest lightly took Oxy's small hand in his gloved one before frowning at Celty. "He needs to be careful with his healing abilities in that case. Otherwise, if we all know how to avoid triggering him..." He let go of Oxy pushed himself to his feet. "I see no problem here." Enoch paused as Pinky spoke, turning towards the looming metal puppet. Something about his words struck his heart sharply. Something familiar. It would have been better if you were never born.
It hurt to think about, but he tried to understand the logic. Tried to understand the point Pinky was making. But... He glanced down at Oxy. He didn't seem unhappy earlier. Every encounter he'd had was with a contented, innocent child. A contented person. Who were they to say he would not be able to lead a fulfilling life? He agreed with the shaman entirely. Enoch responded firmly, frowning and eyeing the warrior's weapon cautiously. "We don't know what kind of life HE will be able to lead, Alroth. That is not our call to make. All we know is that his powers can be controlled, and therefore he will not be a threat. That should be the only concern to us."

Mimisko nodded.
"I agree with Luair. I was thinking of making cheppermint tea for the heck of it tomorrow but I feel it may releive some stress that we had today."
Mimisko sighed out of feeling tired.
"Plus, I don't want everyone being lost in this forest maze."
Mimisko looks at Zerah
"I don't know what happened but I don't think this is Oxy's fault. I don't want you to be hard on yourself."
Mimisko looked around and noticed that Manasa is injured.
"Oh no!"
She ran towards her.
"Manasa, are you okay?! I should get Rezza to help you!"

"Mmmm..." Manasa looked down at her hard gripping her injured arm, which was now blood soaked. A majored vessel must have been sliced open when Oxy stuck her. Manasa considered telling the group the truth of the matter of keeping it a secret, configuring a lie about how she had been hurt by some form of stray tree branch. If she lied however, and Oxy came back to harm her guild, Manasa could never forgive herself. She needed to be as truthful as possible in this situation.
"Oxy hurt me when I tried to hold him. I think... that I scared him." Manasa tried to find the right way to dismiss her wound without covering up the truth of the situation, she needed a perfect balance. "I don't think he knew who I was.'
