Looking back at Manasa, Nicolas smilled " Ok then! I will beggin making the arms now" he than looked at Mimisko's direction " Thank you for the fire Mimisko" he then again looked at Manasa. " And thank you for picking an good material for this job!" Nicolas took the meteor and then faced the others " Now, I would suggest you to go outside... it might be dangerous to stay here whille i am working, plus it might take me some time to finish" Nicolas put his googles "Ok Nicolas... time to work again" Manasa took the imp by one of his massive finger and lead him out of the forge so that the metalsmith could work in peace. Once out she quietly shut the door and let out a nervous, yet excited breath. The vishkanyan then looked towards Zerah, giving a meek smile, "here's to your new arms."

After only seconds of wandering around the halls Altheron encountered the man he was looking for. Kama was just around the corner and walked in front of him as he said "Hey there Altheron! I've been looking all over the place for you! Where the hell have you been? I started a meeting with the other guild members but I couldn't find you anywhere. Things got crazy during that meeting but I'm glad you're alright." Kama held two cups of beer that he managed to find within the castle and began handing one of them over to Altheron as he said "You want one?" Altheron took the cup with both hands shakily, eyeing its contents warily as the recollection of today's events bounced around in his mind while the laughter continued. "I got... lost." he said, refusing to look up into Kama's eyes. "Could I ask you something?" Kama noticed that altheron looked worried so he asked "What's on your mind big guy? You don't look too good."

"I am just... scared." he mumbled, the light of his eye still flickering beneath his eye and reflecting off the strange liquid inside the cup. Altheron jerked a bit in shock at the discovery of his eye being open while having no recollection of having opened it in the first place and quickly clamped it shut before continuing. "I was told what happened earlier with Oxy and Celty's... witch problem and-" Altheron looked from side to side, making sure that no one else was around to possibly listen in on their conversation. After all, if he turned out to be wrong, he wouldn't such a misconception blow up and cause anyone to lose their trust in him. Once he was finished scanning the area, the shaman looked back to meet Kama's gaze. " I think I might have one, too."

The library was dim and empty as night began to fall, and he was relieved. He needed the rest of the night to recharge on his own, and hopefully come the next morning, he'd be able to face whatever new stress awaited them all. The priest ran his finger across the spines of the various books, meandering through the shelves filled with theory and strategy books, popping out a couple of the titles to take a cursory look. After how he'd gotten absolutely obliterated in the previous battle, there was absolutely no way he could continue fighting in the same manner. A small pile of books filled his arms once he continued his trek through the library, starting to come across the books of a more technical nature. Books on magic, incantations, the history of magic... He paused on one particularly large encyclopedia of magic and slid it out from between the other tomes before leafing through it. This is a bad idea.
Over and over his thoughts urged him to return to the strategy section. Nothing good would come of this and he knew it but... It's always worth a shot There had been something powerful and cathartic about that meager moment where he had been able to reflect Necrosis's attacks. The priest desperately wanted to experience that again. Surely if he can channel mana in order to use time magic, he could do more. Surely. He knew he was lying to himself, but there was something comforting about the idea that maybe, just maybe, he could become more useful. I'm such a hypocrite, he thought to himself as he caved into those dredged up, ancient feelings of inadequacy. Enoch had come to terms with his past. He'd come to terms with having to work in a different manner than a combat mage or a healer, and he'd become accustomed to and content in his supportive position. So... why had that changed? Why were these old, juvenile feelings suddenly bubbling back up to the surface? Taking the book into his arms, he collected a few more from the wartime section before seeking out a room to retire in for the night, finally settling into an unoccupied room. {Spoiler - Click to View} He began reading. The techniques, the emotions, the specific and detailed way in which the body channels mana to create spells, he devoured this information as if it were something fresh and new to him. But he knew this. He knew it all. Years and years of trying and failing with the priests had taught him this and yet, he wanted to pretend that he had a chance. His avid reading finally brought him to Chapter 4, the section on Fire magic and its uses. He'd seen the fire mages time and time again work their magic. He could do this.
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and focused on the flow of mana through his veins. Just like when creating an illusion, and just like when stopping the world. Fire magic is at its peak when used by someone burning with emotional energy. Assuming the basic stance shown on the very first pages, he replicated the movement depicted in the illustrations. A basic fire blast.
And through the motions he went. Mana in use, mind focused, he followed through the pattern of casting the spell. But nothing happened. He followed through on other side, using his opposite arm and shifting his stance. But nothing happened. " Come on, damnit!" he shouted, burning with rage. One more try. One more try.
But nothing happened.
Enoch snapped, his foot connecting with the book and sending it flying across the room, the object connecting loudly with the wall, accompanied by the flap of the pages. Slowly he sank to the ground pressed his face into his hands, trying to pull himself together. A sharp breath caught in his throat as he cursed his stupidity. What a damn waste of time. Of course it wouldn't work. Why would it? His recklessness and lack of confidence nearly got him killed last time. He couldn't keep going like this.Sighing quietly, he slid his weary body up onto the bed, dragging one of the strategy books up with him, and focusing the meager energy he had left on something that could actually be of use to him. His inadequacy, his guilt, and his fear, all had to be set aside. This irrationality could get himself and possibly others killed, and with so much on the line with this final battle, such behavior was unacceptable. What his friends and guildmembers needed, what Ignis needed, was someone who worked with their strengths and sought out solutions. He silently pored over the tactics book, nodding off slowly as he finally found some peace.

Kama remembered that Celty's eyes would glow yellow whenever the witch took over control, but Altheron's eye seemed to glow a different color. He observed carefully and asked "This doesn't look quite the same as what Celty has. This purple-ish color... I think I might've met a kid with a similar situation back in my day. Does your power relate to prophecies in any way? If so then I think you have a spawn of Sandor inside of you. That light looks dim and it's only in one eye, so it doesn't seem like it's going to be controlling your body any time soon. Well on the bright side at least this is something I have some clue how to deal with. We can get you an exorcist when the fearens are taken care of but you'll be fine for now so don't worry about it too much. Just kick back and relax a bit while we have the chance. We don't want this chance to relax at a nice, fancy castle to go to waste now do we?"

((Boy this post ended up insanely long. Sorry about that. Well I'm going to sleep right after making this post so I'll take a couple hours to reply if you make a post directed towards one of my characters.)) The Shadow Slayers went to sleep, finally able to have a good night sleep at long last thanks to the comfortable and fancy beds provided at the castle. Kama decided that since Aredon temple could be where their final fight takes place that it would be best not to waste time and travel to their destination as soon as possible. They began moving towards Aredon temple and arrived there fairly quickly. Kama looked back at his guild as soon as they arrived at the temple and said to them "This could be it everyone. No one has ever managed to reach Valdus and come back alive, so be prepared for anything." He then gestured for everyone to follow him into the temple, but as soon as they walked inside the footprints they had been following were no longer visible. Kama believed that the summoning circle was probably underground so they walked down a hallway that led to an underground room. The underground room within the temple was a massive dome shaped dark gold room with ancient carvings all over the walls and roof. It didn't seem to be that strange to see a sight like this inside of a temple, but Kama was shocked to see what awaited them on the other side of this room. There was a sword with wings on the other side of the room that was covered in darkness, clearly enchanted to perform some kind of forbidden spell, and in front of that sword stood what they had been searching for this whole time. The man they had been trying to find throughout their entire adventure was in front of them. Valdus the chosen one just stood there facing away from them while looking at the black winged sword silently. He didn't have a single scratch on him, almost as if he hadn't been affected by the apocalypse at all. Kama couldn't believe his eyes. He was shocked that Valdus was alive and well this entire time. "Valdus!" Kama shouted "We've been looking everywhere for you! Everyone thinks you're dead and they've lost hope because they fear that the prophecy of the chosen one can no longer come true! There's a summoning circle underneath this temple that's creating the fearens and if we destroy it we can end the wrath of the fearens once and for all. We need your help Valdus! Help us give hope to everyone on Ignis again!" Valdus turned to face them but didn't say anything. He was being oddly quiet and simply looked at the Shadow Slayers with an emotionless look on his face. Kama began to grow frustrated at the lack of response Valdus was giving because it seemed as if he didn't understand how urgent the situation was. Kama tried shouting once again "What are you deaf? Stop standing around and say something! The fearen leader is probably near so we need to hurry!" Valdus then finallly spoke "It's not a summoning circle. It's a ritual circle. This ritual circle brings the spirits of everyone who's killed by the fearens and seals their soul inside of this sword." Kama then replied "A ritual circle? How do you know this?" Valdus turned his body around completely in order to face the guild and answered "Because... I am the fearen leader." Kama was in disbelief. That was possibly the most ridiculous thing Valdus could have said. He refused to accept what Valdus was saying as the truth and shouted "That isn't funny Valdus! Now isn't the time for this shit! Get over here and help us out!" "This is no joke Kama. I summoned the fearens in order to bring peace to the world. I summoned them because I knew that those who live on Ignis wouldn't give me their souls willingly for my cause. Some of the souls that I collect using the fearens are used to summon more fearens, but most of them are sealed within this enchanted sword to perform the ultimate spell. Millions upon millions of souls can be sacrificed to summon the power of a god. As soon as I collect enough souls I will use this sword to use the greatest spell known to Ignis and make myself into the new god of prophecy. No longer will Sandor hold the world in fear, for I shall use this power for justice. The power of the prophecy god will allow me complete control over the future. I can create a world without starvation, without disease, and without war. I can create a world without pain and suffering. It is my destiny as the chosen one to become the new god of this world and create world peace at long last." "You're.... serious? I can't believe this. Have you lost your mind Valdus? Have you seen the hell you've created out there? Do you really believe this is justice? Even if you do manage to summon Sandor's power you won't be able to control it! It's an evil power and it'll corrupt you, you damn idiot!" "I chose to tell you this because I believed that a hero such as yourself would understand and support my cause, but it seems I've placed my belief in the wrong person. Of course I know that the world out there looks unpleasant, but the ends will justify the means. I will tame the power of the prophecy god. I can tame any power necessary because I am the chosen one, and nothing you can say will stop me from executing my plan!" Kama then looked over to his guild and said to them "I didn't want it to end like this but we have no choice. Valdus was once a good man, but it seems like he's lost his mind. Since he was the one to summon the fearens, then I'm certain that they'll vanish once we take Valdus down. This is our final battle everyone! Shadow Slayers attack Valdus!" Valdus then summoned floating golden weapons along with tons of fearen onto the battlefield as he said "Then so be it. If you won't fight for my cause then I may as well offer your souls to the enchanted blade! It's time to end your lives in the name of justice! Fearens attack!" Current Objective
Everyone who submitted a humanoid fearen will be the ones to control the humanoid fearens that they submitted. Besides that you guys should know the drill by now. Defeat the enemies. {Spoiler - Click to view boss enemy} Valdus, the chosen one Valdus has the ability to summon giant golden weapons that float around him that he can control using magic. He has a giant golden sword to slash opponents at close range and perform wind slashes to damage opponents that are far away, and Valdus can also simply launch the golden sword at opponents. He also has a giant golden cannon capable of shooting blasts of fire, ice, wind, or chunks of earth. Valdus can use a golden shield to block, and he has the ability to fly. His greatest weakness is close ranged combat, as his only method of attack from up close is his golden sword slashes. Valdus is a boss character meaning that I will be the one to control him and I will be the one to decide whether or not your character's attacks will hit him or not. {Spoiler - Click to view humanoid fearens} Fearen Cyrus Abilities: A powerful earth mage that wields a war hammer. Can use a slew of earth spells and manipulate existing earth to a lesser degree. Can form walls of earth as defense against physical and magical attacks. Weaknesses: Slow physical attacker (that hammer is *heavy*) Susceptible to time magic Susceptible to physical Weak to Ice (will crack through the earth walls) Weak to Light Personality: Had an antagonistic personality even when he was alive, even with people he cared about, and therefore will be very vocal throwing taunts and threats. Bounces off of other people's banter very quickly, and will most likely find any trash talking to be hilarious rather than offensive. Is very prideful to the point of reckless arrogance. His intelligence in terms of planning and responding nearly rivals Enoch's, however his attitude and impatience counteracts this. As a fearen, he is far more disorganized and less methodical than he was when he was alive. Memories: i.gyazo.com/976c7f03ee25cb60c02a857e332f1eec.png Retains most of his memories of his interactions with Enoch and the other priests, however they're twisted with his own pride and only focus on his negative thoughts during those interactions. In sparring and magic practice, he trumped Enoch offensively, and will be quick to rag on his weaker magical and physical abilities. Would also likely poke at Osseus upon encounter for lack of magic as an elven, and Ooro if he is able to identify her as an elven. As he is aware of all of Enoch's insecurities and fears, these will be something he will be quick to harp on in-battle. The Flores (fearen) A rather close family in life, as fearen the Flores make up for their lack of special abilities by working together as a group to take down their target. Outside of what could be described as super human strength these fearen are roughly the same in death as they were in their normal lives. Reave and Nel are not radically different from who they were as humans, recieving only boosted strength they often rely on the assistance of the more worwren members of the family. Ekh and Rees along with their enhanced strength have gained considerable speed, an extention of their natural abilities. Being not much different than their human forms the Flores don't have much in the way of resistance to any particular form of attack. They can be affected by any method of offence but their strength comes with endurance, allowing them to take a few more hits than the average person. Fearen Urzul
Urzul once out to fix the world, now a beast made of nothing but pure evil. As a fearen she is a being of pure unbridled strength, but still considerably slow. Her ability comes with a resistance to physical attacks but a weakness to magical abilities, and a great weakness to fire. Fearen Ortus This is Osseus's mother Ortus. Ortus uses black magic, so dark energy waves and slashes, as well as fire-like hexes and making skin rot when she grabs hold of someone. Weaknesses are light magic, fire (ironically enough), and destroying her armor. Since her armor is metal it follows metallic properties, meaning that she is also weak to really strong physical attacks. Personality:She was cold even when she was alive, and generally does not care whether anyone lives or dies. She would even kill other fearen if they get in her way (weaker ones, or she could attack stronger ones, but that's for the rpers to decide if they land.) Fearen Clara The original host Clarissa possessed who was killed for being a witch. Abilities: Incredible bursts of speed between slow periods, physically very strong, her nails are dagger sharp and she's very hard to distract once she has her mind set on a particular target. Her mains abilities stem from a powerful defense. She is unable to be hurt by almost any magic and long range attacks prove futile as she can manipulate the air around her in a sort of force field. Weaknesses: Fire and Melee. Close range attacks are pretty much all that can hit her though. Fearen Licca Abilities: She can control the long tendrils stemming from her neck, which can be used offensively but are primarily used to grab her foe and hold them in place. She had gained powerful psychic abilities which she can trigger by looking into the eyes of her opponent. Weaknesses: She is actually quite frail, and needs to make eye contact in order for many of her abilities to properly work. Incredibly fearful to the point where sometimes she will just cower in the corner. Personality: Much of her former personality has been replaced. She is hellbent on showing everybody the suffering she went through. Her admiration for Manasa has been warped into a complex in which she is now obsessed with showing her the full extent of her powers. Memories: Her memories are primarily made up of the moment where she died, with only tiny flickers of her life before then remaining. Fearen Rylan Abilities: Can use a variation of fire and electric magic. Can manipulate space to an extent, such as creating portals and manipulating gravity. Has enhanced speed and strength due to being fearen. Weaknesses: Hand to hand combat is his weakest point. Has very few close range spells. Manipulating space takes much more concentration and physical energy than any other powers. Attacking while he uses one of those spells will deal massive amounts of damage Personality: With all of the good in his soul gone, Rylan is now arrogant and sadistic. He enjoys toying with his opponents to buy himself time to figure out their fighting capabilities. Memories: Remembers everything from his past life, with no remorse for the terrible things he did. In fact, he is quite proud of the awful things he took part in. Fearen Halvar He was the king of Luair's kingdom until Tairaga came and messed it all up. He used to be a jolly ol' fella, but the destruction of his kingdom has turned him quite cynical, and he wishes to exact pain on others to satisfy his loss. He still has his memories of his life before the transformation, but over time they have warped and changed making it hard to know whether he is telling the truth. His weakness are multiple attacks and most elements. However his halberd Einnalmr is in the same family as Luair's Tveiralmr and therefore his halberd provides him with the resistance he needs. His shield is also sturdy so close combat is hard. The easiest way to defeat him would to disarm him. Fearen Marcus Abilities: Due to being a hardened soldier in life- Marcus has adapted a shell around his arms and legs that make him impervious to melee attacks. When in range, he can deal heavy damage using his fists alone and can block incoming using his reinforced flesh. Weaknesses: Marcus' chest is uncovered, leaving it open for melee attackers. Frost magic can be used to weaken the shell encasing his body as well and shatter it if it receives enough attention. Ranged attacks. Personality: Naturally competitive at all that he does and willing to take up a challenge when offered. However, he is easily baited by insults and may focus fire on those who dare to threaten him. If he feels allied with any of the fearen- he may come to their protection if they are in danger being that he was one who felt extreme camaraderie in life. He is quick to anger, and can enrage on targets that manage to boil his blood. His personality has been intensified due to the distortion of his memories. As he used to worry about the security of his family, he is now suffers from severe paranoia and believes that targets, especially non-human ones, are out to attack him due to the racial prejudices he faced before. He will jump on non-human targets when given the chance. He remembers Ooro, but only of the persona he first met her by. Therefore, he remembers her condescending attitude towards the other races and how she sought to drive him away along with his people. Any that come to her aid he will assume shares her old ideals- and therefore will try to crush them as well. As a side note, he also remembers betting with her, but retains no memory of what came after but only the fact that she had left. {Spoiler - Click to view regular fearens}

After a good amount of waiting, Zerah finally received his arms from Nicolas and was completely overjoyed. He couldn't thank Nicolas enough, the metal was so sleek and shiny. They were exactly what he wanted. Although, as time began to pass, the imp's happiness faded. He stared at his brand new arms, a mix of despair and confusion washing over him. Why do I feel like this? I should be happy... He figured as time passed, he'd come to love his new arms. {Spoiler - Click to View} Then, another problem arose. Zerah had spent nearly two years using his blood as a weapon, and with these new arms, he could no longer do that. The imp scoured the castle for something in particular, something he knew must be there. He searched through the weapon barracks and found exactly what he was looking for. His old axe. The axe he had used to cut down all those villagers in Lapiz Town nearly a century ago. He blew the dust off the axe, and spent the rest of his time at the castle learning how to use it once more. ((Now, onto the battle)) Zerah was already on edge at the idea of getting into a fight with these fearen and ending the apocalypse. He didn't hesitate, even after hearing Valdus' plan, and rushed into the battlefield axe in hand, chopping down two spore fearen to start with. He had already began to frenzy, and hadn't noticed any humanoid fearen on the battlefield. He continued his killing spree, chopping the head clean off of a mage fearen and jamming his axe into the chest of a Sting Fearen. It was still alien to him to be using a weapon, but figured he would get used to it with time. A pack of hound fearen began hurdling towards him, baring their teeth at him.
Rylan walked onto the battlefield, peering over at all of his old 'comrades,' a sinister grin spreading across the man's face. There were quite a few members he wanted to get reacquainted with. Daryn, Celty, Enoch, and Manasa were his first priorities. He walked through the area as the rest of the fearen charged the guild, laughter escaping the priest's mouth. He stood and began to say a complex prayer, one he had never dared try when he was alive, as it would have previously burned his body to a crisp. Once the prayer was complete, he flashed a toothy grin. His hands became engulfed in electricity. It was a bit odd at first, considering that the previous times he had done this as a human, his blood would bubble beneath his skin. He looked around the battlefield when he located his first target. The sword-wielding woman herself. Daryn. Rylan formed an electric orb in his hands, chucking it past the warrior's head. He stopped, standing nearly 20 feet away. "Ah. Daryn. I've been looking for you." He shouted at the warrior. "I wanted to thank you. Remember the rule you broke during our first battle? The below-the-waist rule? The one that cost me my leg?" And without warning, Rylan threw another electric orb her way, once again flying right past the woman's head. "Let's have a rematch. This time, anything goes." And with that, he launched two more electric spheres towards the woman, aiming for her head and chest. He began sprinting after them, forming two more orbs around his hands.

Upon learning of Valdus's survival, and of his grand "heroic" plan, Enoch felt nothing but disgust broiling in his stomach, flummoxed that such an idiotic scheme would even be up for consideration. Stupid, convoluted, and pointless. What kind of empty world did he hope to save if all its inhabitants were already killed? The balance of the world had been utterly destroyed, and the hollow promises of a false god could never fix it. "You god damn idiot!" he growled, clenching his hand tightly around his glaive and immediately beginning to prepare a wide-spread Haste spell. Holding his weapon up, he Hastened up any of the guild members near enough to be affected before assuming a battle stance, readying himself for this third and hopefully final horde of fearen. The final horde of those who had been sacrificed to Valdus's foolish ideals. Immediately he began to slice through the first wave of hound fearen with ease, trying to take the moment to assess his surroundings. The final target was Valdus, but with how well protected he was... they'd need a grand plan to take care of him. That's when a hauntingly familiar voice rang out from nearby. "Ah. This time, anything goes." Enoch's pupils dilated as he identified the source of the voice. Rylan? He was shaken from his shock as two electric orbs zipped by Daryn's head, frowning and rushing towards her, casting a barrier around her once the other priest began to charge. "Hold on, Daryn!" he shouted, prepared to back her up. He didn't allow himself time to think about who he was fighting and prepared himself to attack. If all of the information Kama presented to them was true, this wasn't Rylan. Not anymore, and he wouldn't allow his thoughts to even wander in that direction.

Kama then looked over to his guild and said to them "I didn't want it to end like this but we have no choice. Valdus was once a good man, but it seems like he's lost his mind. If you won't fight for my cause then I may as well offer your souls to the enchanted blade! It's time to end your lives in the name of justice! Fearens attack!" Daryn couldn't understand why Valdus was doing such a thing. He was supposed to be a hero, but he turned out to be the complete opposite. It was because of him that they all lived like this. It was because of him that half the world is dead. Daryn felt anger rising in her chest until Valdus summoned the fearen and went on the offensive. It was then that she knew just how horribly screwed they were. We're right in the middle of the lion's den! Holding his weapon up, he Hastened up any of the guild members near enough to be affected Daryn felt the familiar energy of the haste spell cast upon her and silently thanked Enoch. "Ah. Daryn saw Rylan just after he threw the first electric orb near her head. It scared her, making her jump. She didn't think much about him being a fearen, only that he was an enemy. After the second energy ball flew past her head, she prepared herself for the next attacks by ducking, only to find they hit an energy shield that had appeared around her. Enoch was soon by her side, and she felt reassured at his assistance. She then took a battle stance once more, and with Enoch's haste spell having been cast on her along with what she knew must have been his barrier spell, she too sprinted at Rylan. Her plan was to slash him back and forth across the torso. She prayed the haste spell was enough to make her movements too fast to be read by her adversary.

"Oh Enoch! I wanted to speak with you, too! How's that half-breed doing? Has everyone found that out yet?" Rylan smirked at him, then noticed Daryn charging at him, attempting to slash at his chest. He laughed as he batted the first swing away with a pulse of energy and jumped back. "Well, I did say anything goes. Rylan threw another electric orb towards Daryn, a grin spreading across his face as he fell backwards. As he fell to the floor, a portal opened beneath him, opening up behind Enoch. He walked up behind the man, a wicked grin spread across his face. "Wouldn't want to leave you out, half-breed." He scoffed, and swung his electric orb-covered fist towards Enoch's head.
Zerah smiled when as the first hound pounced towards him. He held his metallic glove out towards the beast, it's teeth shattering upon impact. The imp didn't waste this opportunity, and swung his axe straight into the side of the hound's skull, killing it on impact. Another hound jumped through a portal, attacking the imp from behind as one of the others jumped from ahead. Zerah ducked to avoid the beast in front of him, the two hounds colliding with one another. As they fell to the ground, Zerah stomped there heads with his armor-clad boots. He turned towards the last one, the beast already in the air. The imp didn't have time to react, and simply held his arms up in front of him. The hound knocked him to the ground, trying to bite at his face.

Celty entered the temple, Oxy on her back, but the second she laid eyes on the humanoid fearen, she felt Clarissa bubble to the surface and take control with no warning, a thick dribble of purple escaping her lips from the sudden change. She wiped it away before dropping Oxy to the group carelessly, her eyes glowing brighter then they ever did before. Oxy looked up at her, terrified, as the fearen Clara approached. She moved slowly and calmly, her eyes leaking an unending red stream. She stopped a few paces away and stared at Clarissa with such a deep amount of betrayal and desperation that the witch flinched away from her gaze. "I wanted to live."Clarissa was shaking with anger, a growl escaping her lips as she failed to control her rage. “You should be long dead, you little bitch.”

Luair steadied herself as she listened to the man's reasoning. The value that souls have, did he fully realise? Or want to realise? Did he know that for every soul he collected, there was bloodshed behind it, tears shed about it? A boy once told her that in order to fulfill a goal, you need to know who you're working with. This was the time to put those words into practice. Those around her, on her side, the ones that gave her many things. Things to talk about and laugh about, things she would never forget. She now stood strong, Tveiralmr wrapped tightly around her fingers knowing that this well may be the final battle.
She polished off a shell fearen for starters and got onto knocking off the smaller grunts from there. This way in no time, they could start to work on the-
A gravelly, scraping sound reached her ears; someone dragging their weapon, someone that wasn't the fearens she was used to. The said someone was not in sight for Luair so she continued to go for the smaller types as she did yelling, 'Let some of us take out these ones!'
The dragging sound was her father. And the weapon was Einnalmr. He surveyed the scene that was before him, yet to be aware that his daughter was in the fray. For he had long recalled the memory of her being killed. Two fearen had grabbed on her leg and dragged Luair away; it was vivid in his mind. He didn't see Luair, but he saw the others. To him, they resembled those who had stepped on other lives to survive, unable to succumb to death. He would relinquish them all. He continued a walking pace, mumbling to himself, 'Your time has come. You cannot continue to live.'

Cyrus hummed a small tune as he stepped through the chaos unaffected, taking a haphazard swing of his warhammer at one of the shell fearen and sending it catapulting across the temple. He laughed softly as his eyes flickered over the guildmembers within his view, surveying the different party members. Mages, melee members, and support, there were certainly a few fighters he knew wouldn't be wise to tangle with just yet. Figuring out which one was the healer should have been his top priority, or perhaps forcing apart and separating the fighters using earth magic. A wicked smirk grew across his face as he viewed the smaller elven members of the guild, fingers tapping rhythmically on the hammer's grip. But his focus continued to return to the same place each time. There was one target in particular he was searching for. The first person he truly wanted to see since he'd woken up. "Oh Enoch! I wanted to speak with you, too!" Bingo.
"Oh Enoch! I wanted to speak with you, too! How's that half-breed doing? Has everyone found that out yet?" Enoch grit his teeth and pointed his glaive at the priest in a way that was rather familiar, staring him down and spotting Daryn carefully as she went hand to hand with Rylan. The fearen was trying to bait him, and there was no way in hell he was going to cave into it. But he couldn't help that pricking feeling as Rylan struck a nerve with that word, taking a deep breath and continuing to focus on Daryn's barrier. The footsteps behind him were obscured by the chaos, and it was Rylan's words the alerted Enoch at the last second of his location. Thanks to the added speed, he dropped to the ground and rolled out of the way, wincing as he felt the static and the close proximity of the electricity. "Fuck you. Fuck. You," he spat hatefully, checking Daryn's barrier before preparing a Slow spell to cast on Rylan. His hands were trembling and his concentration was scattered as he tried to keep an eye on the several sources of mana drain, and he didn't notice a second humanoid fearen beginning to approach.
