Clara still showed no sighs of feeling pain, but it was clear that the poison was doing damage. Her shambling became even slower, but her eyes turned to Clarissa only moments later. She was her first target. She needed to destroy that host before any of the others. Clarissa lifted up her glowing hands, trying to hide the shakiness in her legs. She smirked. "Well, come on then!"
Oxy watched Zerah in horror. Even though the man had just saved his life, waves of other memories bubbled to the surface he'd been doing quite well at suppressing. Seeing his friend die twice in front of his eyes in an even more horrific manor had him panicking, his breath coming quick and the once happy tears turning towards terror. Oxy tried to focus on Zerah's words, tried to find something to keep his vision stable. He felt like he was going to vomit. His stomach churned and he clutched at his oversized sweater as he attempted to nod. Numbly, he turned towards Manasa, taking a few steps her direction before suddenly collapsing to his knees. The toddler brought his hands to his face. Twice his friend had been in front of him and twice he couldn't save him. His first real companion. Crushed in an instant. It was too much, it was too much. He wanted to go back before Rylan had first died. He could've...! If only he'd...! He clutched at his head, his claws digging into his skin. He didn't even realize he'd started screaming. The fearen surrounding him started to move wildly, shaking their heads and slamming into one another. Even though their patterns were chaotic, they were slowly getting closer to him. A few turned his way, their eyes focusing on him as the source of the disturbance. Oxy paid them no mind. He couldn't move. It was too much.

'That was a performance you put on there. It is good to see that there is one person is capable.' He swung Einnalmr around to show off. 'Mind showing me a similar display. But this time, you will not be the victor. Your resting grounds will be beside that once man.' He poined to Rylan's remains. 'I cannot wait to witness blood pour from your stomach.' Halvar rushed first with his shield, then would later swing his halberd at the mentioned area. Zerah listened to the elvish man speak, his jovial attitude mixed with his threats putting the imp on edge. He had still been trying to catch his breath after killing Rylan when his weariness was well met, as the man didn't hesitate to swing his halberd at the imp's stomach. Zerah barely managed to jump out of the way, the halberd cutting through the imp's shirt. Way too close... He readied himself to attack, when a loud screeching began. Zerah covered his ears as Oxy continued screaming. "Fucking hell! MANASA!!! HELP THIS KID!!!" Zerah screamed, hoping that his words would be heard above the child's shrieks. The screams worked out to the imp's advantage, however, for while the fearen had begun to move towards the group, they were still incredibly disoriented. Zerah ran around to the surrounding fearen, hacking and slashing his way through several hound and sting fearen. A sting fearen tried to explode near the imp, but before it could, Zerah grabbed it by it's tail, swung it around and hurled it into a larger patch of the fearen horde. Zerah could see the explosion go off in the distance and watched multiple fearen bodies get flung about. While Zerah would have loved to continue this killing spree, the elven fearen was still on his tail. He turned his attention back towards the man, forming his claws into blades once more. "You want a show, old man? Fine." Zerah boasted as he began sprinting straight towards the fearen, seemingly preparing to stab him in the chest. However, as Zerah was nearly upon him, he quickly sprinted to the right, circling around this man before lunging his bladed hand at the fearen's head.

Manasa scrambled towards Oxy, paying no heed towards Clara as she desperately attempted to scoop the child up in her arms. "Oxy! It's going to be okay!" She called out to the child. "I got you, I got you." Manasa poured everything she had into holding onto the child, waves of fearen drawing in closer. She huddled her body inward, electing to shield and console Oxy rather than fend them of.... history was repeating itself.

"I got you, I got you." Manasa poured everything she had into holding onto the child, waves of fearen drawing in closer. She huddled her body inward, electing to shield and console Oxy rather than fend them of.... history was repeating itself. Oxy held onto Manasa, his claws digging into her shoulders as his screaming became a mixture of sobs and shrieks. The fearen stopped, then started, then stopped again, the mixed signals confusing them more than the uncoordinated screaming had. A sting fearen exploded nearby and a a few hounds were opening and closing portals in crazy places. A hydra bit off one of it's own heads and two more appeared, trying to bite at each other angrily. It was chaos.
Clarissa had her hands full with Clara. While the fearen's movements were slow, she had moments of incredible speed that rivaled many of the faster guild members. The witch's attacks had little effect on her, and without her magic, she felt useless. "Tʜᴇʏ ᴡᴇʀᴇ ᴍʏ ғᴀᴍɪʟʏ, ɴᴏᴛ ʏᴏᴜʀs." Clara hissed, her tears dripping to the floor. "I ᴅɪᴇᴅ ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ ᴏғ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʟɪᴇs." Clarissa barely managed to dodge a swipe aimed at her cheek. "You made the contract.""Yᴏᴜ ᴡᴇʀᴇ sᴜᴘᴘᴏsᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ғɪx ᴍᴇ!" Clara cried angrily, loosing her calm demeanor for the first time since the fight started. "I ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ʟɪᴠᴇ! Aɴᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛᴏᴏᴋ ᴏᴠᴇʀ ᴍʏ ʙᴏᴅʏ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴀ ᴘᴜᴘᴘᴇᴛ! Yᴏᴜ ᴍᴀᴅᴇ ᴍᴏᴍᴍʏ ʜᴀᴛᴇ ᴍᴇ! Aɴᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ ᴍᴇ!"
Clara lunged forward and swiped at her target's stomach. Clarissa cried out in pain as the attack landed, pushing her back a few paces. She breathed heavily as purple dribbled from the cut, looking up at Clara with slightly blurry vision. "Wʜᴇʀᴇ's ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴍᴀʀᴋ, ʜᴜʜ?" "Like I'd...tell you," Clarissa huffed out. Clara returned to her calmer state, holding up her nails and shaking off the violet liquid. "Gᴜᴇss I'ʟʟ ᴊᴜsᴛ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴜᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴜᴘ ᴀɴᴅ ғɪɴᴅ ɪᴛ."

She began rocking back and forth, running her gauntlet clad fingers through the boy's hair and calmly shushing him despite all the chaos. "Shhhh.... Oxy, I'm here... shhhhhh..." Manasa nuzzled into the child, pain erupting from her own heart. She felt for him; he was seen and been through so many hardships at such a tender age she could only fathom what was going through Oxy's head right now. Through his hair, Manasa kissed the top of Oxy's head in a desperate attempt to ease his suffering.

Alroth sruggled against the spore fearen around his leg, looking for opportunities to slay it between the chaotic process of fighting off all the other beasts that were now surrounding.
"Damn. Damn...Damn!" Pinky exclaimed, growing more and more frustrated as the ordeal went on... all the while the sound of screeching echoed through the room.
Screeching...
"Stop!" Pinky yelled once she realized what was happening. This was directed at Oxy, and would activate his collar. The effects would last for ten minutes unless Pinky deactivated it. Without another thought, Alroth cut his way free and began heading for Valdus again.

Through his hair, Manasa kissed the top of Oxy's head in a desperate attempt to ease his suffering. Oxy's body went limp against Manasa, his claws barely keeping him held up. His shrieking had stopped, but he was still crying heavily, and it was clear he wasn't in a state to understand what was happening. He tried to move against the bonds but let out a short choking sound as the paralysis intensified, making it harder to breath. He looked up at Manasa with wide eyes, terrified at what was happening.
Clara lunged again towards Clarissa, this time tearing her cape from her back. She hissed with rage when looking at the back of her neck and finding nothing of interest. "Wʜᴇʀᴇ ɪs ɪᴛ?!" Clarissa laughed. "Having some trouble there, dear?""I'ᴍ ɢᴏɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ ɪᴛ!" She spat. "What happened to that calm head of yours? I thought you wanted to be mommy and daddy's perfect little girl. Wouldn't they be proud with such an outburst!"Clara narrowed her wide eyes for the first time. She let out a scream as she ran forward, her pace slower than before as she hadn't allowed enough time to regain her energy. Clarissa dodged this attack easily, and brought down her elbow on the child's skull. Clara stumbled forward, wobbly on her feet from the attack, but she looked back over without a hint of pain. "I ᴄᴀɴ'ᴛ ғᴇᴇʟ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴀɴʏᴍᴏʀᴇ." She laughed. Bits of the flesh on her face fell to the floor, revealing the bone underneath. "Sᴏ ᴋᴇᴇᴘ ᴜᴘ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋs. I ᴄᴀɴ ᴅᴏ ᴛʜɪs ғᴀʀ ʟᴏɴɢᴇʀ ᴛʜᴀɴ ʏᴏᴜ." "Oh, you want to play it that way?" Clarissa yelled, returning the laugh full force. She whispered the same spell she had done to Rezza previously, numbing her body. She stood straight up, the agony in her side gone although it was still bleeding. She currently believed Rezza was still available to take over if this body gave out, too absorbed in her own battle to realize her back up host was in grave danger. She smiled widely, the glow of her hands vanishing in an instant. "Let's do it the old fashioned way, then."

Halvar narrowly missed his attack, letting out a grunt in response. He held Einnalmr high, preparing his next move. Likewise to Luair he began to mutter intelligible words under his breath and from that, his halberd began to sport a blue glow. He then saw that his attention was drawn elsewhere and saw this as the moment to make the move.
'There is no need to fool around, there is much more fighting needed to be done!' he chortled, this time aiming for his legs hoping to incapicitate him.
Before he could do so, Zerah came at him with another attack, this time to the head. It grazed his scalp and stepping backwards made his swing.

Seeing as the attack Zerah had tried to land on the elven man missed(( )), he was in deep trouble as the man's halberd was swung towards the imp's leg. While the armor could do most of the protection, there was no real telling how strong this attack could be. He made an attempt to move backward, the halberd coming in contact just above the ankle. However, while the blunt force stung in his leg, it hadn't cut through. When Zerah landed, he looked down at his leg to see the armor dented, but sporting a golden glow. He breathed a sigh of relief, realizing Manasa must have cast some sort of protection dance. Zerah smirked and ran circles around the old fearen, before finally lunging at the man's back, bladed hand extended.

Halvar stumbled as Zerah jabbed past his armour and into his back. Caught off guard he quickly turned to defend himself from further attack.
'So you intend to spill my blood instead? That is more than what others have done so far. I knew I made the best choice to challenge you. But you must die here.'
He then raised his shield across his chest. Initially he would charge as usual then go for a surprise attack at his chest, seeing that going for the legs did little to nothing.
'This body of mine was once pitiful, only good enough to survive in. Now I truly feel powerful. And let me demonstrate exactly that.'
He let out a battle cry and enacted his plan.

'This body of mine was once pitiful, only good enough to survive in. Now I truly feel powerful. And let me demonstrate exactly that.' He let out a battle cry and enacted his plan. Zerah grinned as he managed to lodge the blade in the man's back. This small accomplishment was short-lived, however, for the man showed know sign of weakening. Zerah became serious once more, forming his blades into a longer, needle-like point, with which he hoped to stab through any vital organs. He was prepared to charge the man, when he charged first. It seemed as though he was going to try plowing right through the imp. The fearen was heavily armored, and the chances of Zerah landing another blow to his back were slim. Instead, as the man approached, he jumped to the side of him, going for another attempt at skewering the man's skull. Before he could do this, the man's course of action changed his shield coming down and his halberd swinging straight for Zerah's chest, catching him completely off guard. Zerah had no time to move, and his chest was slashed through, leaving a gaping wound oozing black blood. Zerah let out a scream of agony as he jumped backward, away from the elvish fearen. The blood began moving back towards the wound, covering it up. This did nothing to heal it, but would act more as a layer of skin in case that were to happen again. Zerah silently thanked Manasa, for had she not cast that spell, he would have been dead on the spot. "Heheh...you are tougher than you look...old man..heh" He spat between exasperated breaths. Zerah shifted his single bladed arm back into a claw, bringing each tip to a needle point. "But you're definitely not going to kill me." Zerah waved his fingers, motioning for the man to come at him once more.

Immediately he reacted and tried to skirt away, Osseus's dagger sinking into his side at a more shallow angle and causing the fearen letting out a howl of pain. He twisted his body towards the smaller elven as he went to retaliate. "Y-You little shit!" he snarled, swinging his warhammer in an arc towards the smaller elf, getting winded by the exertion and pain. This left him wide open for Daryn's attack, noticing her only at the last moment as his attention was drawn by Osseus. As her sword plunged into his side, he staggered away, immediately shooting earthen spikes at the three. He gasped for air, wincing in pain and gripping his side, his glare dripping with hatred as he surveyed the three. Lifting his hand slowly, he tried to ready another magic attack, cursing once he realized how low on mana he was. "Are... are you really gonna let them kill me, Enoch? After all this time, we're finally together again . Didn't you miss me?" he asked with a false pleading tone Osseus easily damaged the strike, jumping backwards to avoid further confrontation. He kept his eyes peeled for any more openings when a familiar warrior woman managed to get in another good strike. "Daryn!" He excitedly exclaimed, almost skipping her way towards her. When he did manage to reach her, he stood on his toes to whisper his next move. "Ok, we need you to divert that elf motherf-cker's attention so we can get Enoch to somewhere safer. Then we can all enact a master plan to get everything rolling," A cacophony of strategies whirled in his mind, ranging in use. If he could get Enoch, he could get a second opinion to improve his ideas.
As the battle between the two fearen wore on, Ortus's worst fears in that moment were being realized. She had to act quick to escape this conflict, to focus on what really mattered. She slowed her onslaught and dug her sword in the ground underneath, adjusting her posture to dominate over the shorter man. (She's 7' so she basically taller than erryone except Urzul) "This trivial duel only serves as a distraction," Ortus huffed, gesturing to Ooro and Luair with her head. "If you have your sights so dead set on that particular woman, I will not stop you. However," She raised her sword once again, the holes in her helmet glowing. "If you get in my way one more time, I will not hesitate to annihilate you where you stand."

Ooro's eyes narrowed as she gazed at the archer beside her. There was a pause, "...Of course." I told myself I would help if needed. Her pupils strayed back to the figures exchanging blows, and nodded. With that, she took a step forward, her legs shifted and a claw at ready before diving into the madness. As Osseus cut head-first, she covered the beasts that attempted to jump at their sides, striking them down as swiftly as she could. She even went as far to draw back a few that might have approached in due time. Using her increased speed to the utmost, she slashed blindly around her, not even noticing the few scrapes she earned in the process.
Yet, the joints in her fingers lost feeling. No longer could she curl them into a fist, and her hand began to sear with pain as it forcefully retreated back into its original shape. Damn! While it appeared Osseus had reached the destination fine, meaning that a path had been carved, that didn't change the fact that now she was rendered useless in battle minus for her speed. Her arm wouldn't even respond to any attempt to reform the talon for an unprecedented period of time.
...The worst part is, the foe they were now faced with was one of a more formidable caliber. Ooro had just finished covering Osseus and glanced back to see that their current opponent wielded a war-hammer of sorts. However, they managed to successfully land their attacks on the figure, and retaliated by channeling magic to crumble the earth into spikes at them. For a moment, a tinge of panic shot through her, until the rogue managed to dodge.
Ooro tilted her ear, perplexed by the statement. She saw his lips continue to mouth a string of words, but she had trouble hearing the rest as he trailed off. Their enemy had been acquainted with Enoch? Her eyebrows drew together as the hermit was still in position to run. So even he had something catching up with him. However, she was in no place to speak out. She couldn't match the figure with anyone he's spoken of before... and had no idea of their relation to the mage. Afraid of what their opponent would dish out next, she tried to remain still with her legs shifted in case of danger. Right now, the only thing she could do was dodge as her means of defense had proven unreliable, thus needed to pay close attention to each and every movement.
---
Marcus was drawn back with the waves shot in each and every direction, completely focusing on evading them but also gaining too much distance in the process. He spat under his breath furiously, and while he was readying to charge Ortus had spoken out.
As the woman tilted her head, Marcus glared down at the figures retreating, scoffing as he did so, "Fine! The same goes for you!" With that, the man wasted no time and dived back into the chaos, trying to relocate his target once more.

Manasa had no understanding of what was happening to Oxy. She stood up, holding the child in one arm and gripping the handle of her scimitar with the other. The fearen were closing in on them, she had to protect Oxy. With the toddler still in one arm Manasa drew her sword, swinging it at a hound and sending it jumping back with a growl. With Oxy's weight she was at a severe handicap, but against a hound she could manage. A beam of ice suddenly stuck the vishkanyan's leg, freezing her to the ground and causing her to screech in pain. Manasa spun around to see where the attack came from only to come face to face with a massive Hydra with four heads hissing and lumbering forward. The hydra lunged at her with one of it's sharp maws, Manasa reacted purely out of instinct. With an animalistic hiss she sunk her teeth into the hydra's neck, releasing the poison her body had naturally stored. The Hydra then sputtered back, biting at it's own neck as all four heads joined in a pained chorus. As they did so Manasa could have sworn she could... feel the poison move through the hydra's body, as if she and it were connected. She focused, brow furrowed, as she tried to move the poison throughout the beast's body, corroding it as she did so until it settled in it's eye. The Hydra was slain. As Manasa realized what she had just done, the cold began to sink in. Her fingers were numb. Under the gauntlets Manasa had no idea that they had began to discolor and misshapen, but she could feel something was wrong. She brushed it off as she began to hack away at the ice encapsulating her leg. The hound from earlier had decided to return as she did to return as she did so, only to be mowed down quickly with a single sweep, Manasa breaking her leg free in the same motion. Manasa's ears perked up. In the heat of battle Rezza's cries were almost missed. She turned to focus on the healer, wide eyed in horror. The dancer remembered the words she said to Rezza, her promise. She looked back down at Oxy, and back over at Rezza, torn between the two. She wanted to protect the both of them- she wanted to protect everyone. It was just like the first battle, how she felt so helpless to defend her teammates. Just like the second battle, how she was reminded of her failures as a prophet. Manasa shook her head, trying to break herself free. " REZZA!" Manasa screamed as loud as she could, charging towards the scene with Oxy still in her arm. She sheathed her scimitar and pulled out her throwing dagger, licking it as to coat it with poison before throwing it at Reave's skull. She then drew her scimitar once more, ready to engage.

Luair continued to follow the given instructions, making shots at a distance towards Enoch's opponent. He was speaking in such a cordial way that the whole situation came off as odd. Who exactly was this person and what relation did he have to Enoch? No. That wasn't what was asked of her. If the defeat of this man ensured the safety of Enoch then, there was no choice. But there was someone else fast approaching.
'Ooro! That man is- he's coming!' She travelled further down the cleared path and aimed in the direction she saw him. 'We must not let him get to us!'
She hoped that the light would slow him down, then went all in. She planned to fatally shoot Enoch's enemy. If she was able to hit the right spot, it would immobilise him for a very, long time or even for good. If not, the shot would still be of some use. She aimed Tveiralmr at him, eyes on the target.
