Celty skidded to a stop when she saw a man exit the church, hand covered in blue light. She quickly dropped Oxy to the ground and moved in front of him.
"Go find shelter, Oxy."
Oxy shook his head and grabbed onto the back of her coat.
"Oxy," She said testily, "this is no time for you to be weak. Your cloak will keep your true nature hidden, but if these people are hostile to outsiders it won't matter what you are."
Oxy grabbed onto his mother's leg, refusing to leave her.
She sighed. "Very well." Celty turned back to face the man with the blue hand and crouched into a defensive stance.

Odessa nodded. "Alright. I'll use my real powers." Her orb once again glowed, this time white, to reveal a pink staff. "It'd be better to do outside, like you said. Let's go." She started towards the door.

Mimisko nodded. She kinda feels bad since she is the first to take about of Karma's sword. ((Like how I'm feeling bad about how I took that scene. ;w;.)) But she now knows what to do for the future.
She walk towards Nicolas. She snapped her fingers and small flame appears from her fingertips.
"I'm ready when you are. May we have the best of luck~."
But then, when Rylan made his announcement. Like Nicolas, she sees what's going on outside, whcih is tall figure in the distance killing brutally every fearens in every second. She was shocked.
"Oh dear!" Mimisko cried
((Sorry, if my RPing skills are a little rusty around this time. It's just, it's been a while since I last RPed. //looks at CG. cries forever.//))

((I guess ive thought of something...and im mostly just wingin it)) Urzul had found her shelter for the time being in an abandoned town, safe away from anything else or, rather, she thought it was until she heard some commotion coming from the old church. Standing up sharply and grasping for her club, Urzul's instinct was to go face it directly and then decide if the source was an enemy or an ally. Confidently, she strode up closer to and could hear voices from the other side, she also noticed a fairly faint scent that she could not place. Grunting in disgust, Urzul found it to be a gathering of humans. "It looks like I was wrong about this place being safe." Was all she remarked on the situation, glaring down at the gathering in front of the church. Inhaling a large breath she tried to recognize the smell filling her nose, thinking over things she had hunted before, but was completely unable. All she knew was it smelled unearthly.

Fallen was following Odessa out when suddenly
Rylan was right. Fallen could see that there was a fight between the fearen and... something else. Stupid. He should've set up some lodestones around the perimeter to ward off the fearen.
He was then hit with the sudden realization that while the fearen presently there may be weak, the disappearance of so many such fearen and the arrival of so many skilled individuals would surely draw the attention of a much larger and stronger fearen.
"O-odessa, I think we have to put our battle on a hold. We have to take care of these fearen and that... monster... before it's too late!"
Just then, he caught a glimpse of a fox-like woman in a defensive stance, glaring at Rylan.
"Uh.. is everything ok?"

Alroth continued to eradicate the fearen hounds without much of a struggle. There were more than he had expected, but they still didn't pose much threat. The only reason it was taking so long to deal with them was due to their spread formation which prevented the slayer from killing more than one at a time. It also seemed like every time he finished them off a few more would slip out of the shadows.
This time it looked like he really had reached the end of them, though. A mere four hounds remained, and Alroth turned to find that they were closer together than the previous bunch had been. It would make an easy target for anyone capable of either a very wide sweep or a very quick succession of attacks. Alroth fit the former category. He unclamped the chain on his great mace, quickly converting it into its flail state. Holding his shield out in front of him, he prepared to throw one good, last attack...

((Unfortunately I'm going to have to quickly end this conflict regarding Alroth because people were really looking forward to the training sessions. They even went as far as to make pictures and comics for it and spent several posts setting up the battles. If I make this role playing game focus on Alroth then other role players will have a hard time getting involved, and it won't give people much to do while they wait for new role players.
Those who have joined in the role playing game after the training sessions began (This includes Aurablade, Vriska, Tenshi, Evan, Cassiroll and anyone else who hasn't joined the game yet) should meet with Kama and introduce themselves to him, and watch the fights with him. Newcomers please try to keep the discussion about the training fights after your character introduces themselves to Kama so that the training session can be a central focus of the game.))
Kama looked at Alroth and saw that he was killing weak fearen. Kama said "He's just killing fearen. The man is probably here just to join the guild. This is nothing to panic about." The old man whipped out his swords and in the blink of an eye he killed the four fearens that stood in front of Alroth. It was unbelievably fast for such an old man. He looked over to the rest of the guild and shouted "Everyone go back to training!" He gestured for Alroth to join them in front of the church, and looked over and said to Celty "Don't look so worried. We're not gonna hurt you. I'll make sure the kid stays safe. Come join us in front of the church." Kama sat in front of the church waiting for new members. He said to Alroth and Celty while passing them some alchohol "While we watch why don't you guys introduce yourselves and make bets on who you think is gonna win these fights?"

Following the words of the old man in front of the mess of people, Altheron was pleased at the discovery of a new word. "Ch... ch-chu..... chuuuurch....", He mumbled. This thing was a church, and a very ugly one at that. The colors of the windows disturbed him and the entire place was just riddled with human-like creatures. Concluding that Kama was the person in charge, Altheron made his way to the middle of the chuuuurch once everyone made their way inside and kneeled before the old man at an uncomfortable distance of six inches away from Kama's face.

Celty eyed Kama uncomfortably before snatching Oxy up in her arms once more. The child was tired from many long days of travel and it would do him some good to be around others. Perhaps she could even find a comrade amongst all these different folk.
Propping Oxy onto her back, she followed Kama to the front of the church and seated herself near him. "I'm Celty," She whispered, unable to make eye contact. Oxy cowered on her shoulders and she nudged him gently to force him to speak. "M-My name's Oxy." He managed before ducking into his mother's hood.

"Very well, then." Gaynor smirked at her eager opponent; THIS was what she was truly waiting for. The woman pushed herself off the pillar and headed to the entrance of the church, passing the masked figure who stood there. Before exiting, she stopped in her tracks-
"Some people in this room learned to have sharper senses over the years, goblin, I'd keep a bit more to yourself." Gaynor advised, continuing her path to the outside world once more. "We in this world share a common enemy so I'm not bothered to make an ordeal of your presence. However, don't expect everyone to be as understanding as I am."
She took in the landscape and noted everyone who appeared on it. Some faces she met previously inside the church and others new to her eyes. Kama appeared to be aiding a fellow survivor in the distance; when she had first met him, Kama didn't appear to be the type who'd help a stranger at the drop of coin. It had only further proven her previous point: You truly meet someone when you see them fight. "The old man lives up to his name, I see."

"We in this world share a common enemy so I'm not bothered to make an ordeal of your presence. However, don't expect everyone to be as understanding as I am." "Y-YEAH. I'm also here do defeat the common enemy! I'm totally not lying! Now it's going to seem like I'm lying! Wait, How did you know I was a gob-" Gremlon then covered his mouth before continuing. I can't let this person hear what I'm thinking! This person already heard me when I was talking out loud. wait. This might work. Yeah. She can't hear what I'm saying right now when I cover my mouth!Gremlon might have been able to hide what he was saying but... Okay... I probably look like a total imbecile covering my mouth like this... but here's my chance.Gremlon then looked around while covering his mouth like a moron. All of his speech became a muffled noise. {((The rest of this is pretty much inner dialogue. Click here to read it.))} Gremlon looked at Daryn for a bit. That one person is still standing there. I probably don't want to mess with them. They have kinda messy clothes and a broadsword so they've probably fought quite a bit... and is that war paint under their eyes!? I can't mess with this dude. Gremlon being absent minded called Daryn a dude while muffling his mouth. Gremlon then looked over and saw Celty. This one has a child, but there's something off. By the look of that cloak, she could be some sort of wizard or witch... and wolf ears? I can't mess with a werewolf witch. For all I know her kid could have demonic powers as well. Gremlon glanced at Arloth. This guy is big and has big weapons, but the way he's fights... I don't know. Then Gremlon looked over at Kama. Oh, there's an old man. I could probably take him on hehe. Somehow Gremlon didn't notice what Kama just did. Wait, since when was that human in the white there? and... why are they so close to the old man? I'm glad I'm not in that old man's position right now. Gremlon glanced at Rylan. Is that a voodoo magic wizard with glowing eyes!? This guy screams danger. Gremlon saw Odessa and Fallen. A male and female are standing next to each other. Are they in a relationship? Gremlon couldn't get a good view of Urzul. Is that another goblin? ah well.. let's see what's going on inside since I can... Gremlon looked inside and found Mimisko, Nicholas, and Enoch. Whoa! All kinds of powerful looking humans in here. A fire mage, a kid with a hammer, and a scary long haired human with a halberd! There's so much going on here... and now I'm having a hard time breathing Gremlon then had to let go of his mouth to breathe.

Mimisko looked at Gremlon. She is confused about why he is covering up his mouth. Then she became concerned. She thought to herself.
"Oh dear. I hope he is not sick. It seems like he is about to throw up."
Through, few seconds later, she realized that Gremlon is keeping his mouth shut. She wave to him and say.
"Welcome~"
She then turned to Nicolas and say
"So, shall we get to training?"

Altheron didn't even notice the strange creature attracting the attention of the others behind. He just stood there, now three inches away from Kama's face, breathing the same air.

Alroth was just about to swing when a crazy old men swept in and slaughtered the last remaining fearen. Good thing the armored giant was still able to stop himself, because the huge ball and chain would be difficult to dodge if Kama wasn't paying attention to them. Whether or not that was the case wasn't really clear, but it hardly mattered a moment later anyway. He gestured for Alroth to join them in front of the church, and looked over and said to Celty "Don't look so worried. We're not gonna hurt you. I'll make sure the kid stays safe. Come join us in front of the church." This was all very sudden to Alroth, who hadn't yet realized that other people were in this area. Now having a chance to look around better, he could see that there was quite a gathering at the nearby church. Perhaps the village wasn't as deserted as he had thought. That would make it a lot harder to plunder the place. Alroth put away his weapons, and without saying a word the brute nodded and followed. He didn't know what was going on, but it seemed appropriate to play along in order to fit in. Kama sat in front of the church waiting for new members. He said to Alroth and Celty while passing them some alchohol "While we watch why don't you guys introduce yourselves and make bets on who you think is gonna win these fights?" It was still difficult to tell exactly what he had stumbled into, but again Alroth decided to humor the charade and do as told. The large man stepped forward slightly and began to introduce himself. "I am Alroth... Alroth of Atralock!" he proclaimed. His voice was higher in pitch than most would expect, and it had a strange quality to it that would be hard to place. Added to that was a heavy, metallic echo that was somehow produced even though his helmet should have in no way been blocking his mouth... or so it would seem. On close inspection - even under the daylight - it would be impossible to see Alroth's facial features. No matter what angle his head was at, a deep shadow was always covering his face. At a glance it would look like his helmet had some kind of visor, but that wasn't quite the case. Anyone trained in certain fields might recognize something unusual about it. "I did not know that this village was still inhabited," he explained "but if you were having trouble with those fearen, I have taken care of them." There was a certain pride in the latter part of that statement. It should have been pretty obvious that he didn't know what was going on here. It was also obvious that he wasn't savage or insane like some seemed to think for whatever reason.

Enoch followed behind Gaynor outside, glancing over at the figure behind the pillar as she addressed him. To be honest, he was pleased to see non-human recruits adding some texture to the guild. They would be valuable allies, and hopefully with the overbearing threat of the fearen, everyone else would agree. This one was a bit... strange though.
By the time he'd joined Gaynor outside, Kama had just finished slaughtering the final, smaller fearen nearby. Enoch watched intently, nodding as Gaynor spoke. "Perhaps we'll stand a chance." After bad impression after bad impression from Kama, an indescribable wave of relief washed over him as he watched the old hero dust the cobwebs off his title. He caught himself smiling a bit as the old man returned with a few new faces in tow, quickly catching himself and returning to his regular disaffected stare.
There was another non-human and her child, both who seemed rather cagey. There was also a bizarre human hovering right in Kama's face. Odd. And next to them was a looming figure in heavy armor, someone Enoch nearly dismissed as another melee fighter before he paused, doing a double take. To the untrained eye, the discrepancies may not have seemed terribly suspicious, or even noticeable. But to someone more specialized, this smacked of illusory magic. Something was wrong.
He touched his mask which now hung around his neck. "What reason could a recruit have to obscure their appearance?" he thought to himself, making a mental note to keep a close eye on this new guest before turning back to Gaynor. "Shall we pick a spot and get started?"
