((Replying on mobile because I am at my grandma's place. ;^ ) Mimisko got up as Ooro helped her up. "Eheh, I'm sorry. Guess I am still tired." Mimisko got a little nervous.

"How are they? Worth looking through?" "They wouldn't be my first choice." Alroth said, looking over the remaining weapons and armor. The designs were decent, but they were nothing special. Made sense, since the equipment probably wouldn't have been abandoned in an inn if it were exceptionally good. Pinky specialized in wood - not metal - so her opinion was based only on the most obvious details.
Pinky shifted focus to just the armor. "It's better than nothing." the pixie said, recalling several instances of the others getting injurred by easily prevented attacks. She decided to voice exactly that concern. "No one would have gotten hurt yesterday if we were all wearing armor."

Manasa huffed. It was easy for Pinky to say, being almost impervious in what as practically a mobile citadel. "Not all of our fighting styles call for it though," Manasa lifted her scalemail and dropped it just to show how heavy it was for added effect. "My dances have slowed down just from this, I can't imagine adding anything heavier."
The added weight of of the armor combined with the restriction of now being fulled covered did have a trade off- she was more protected bit her mobility as well was beauty and grace took a hit. A vishkayan's dance was not simply a matter of preforming the correct steps, it had to please Naga. And if her appearance was not to his pallet than the whole effort would be in vain... or worthy of punishment.
She was about to open her mouth to ask if she needed to find something more decorative before quickly closing it. Pinky was probably the last person to ask, Manasa would most likely just get scolded for being vain in reply.

"Maybe." Pinky replied "But one way or another we need to improve our defenses. If that fight went on longer, everyone would be dead." Alroth's helmet turned toward the many piles of corpses. The pixie hoped everyone would learn something from those next two weeks. If things went south she had a strong chance of surviving, but that wasn't a situation she wanted to be in. Yet, if yesterday's fight had continued for just a few more minutes it could have been the Shadow Slayers' corpses she was looking at.

"...We should be learning how to coordinate ourselves instead of practicing on our own." Manasa suggested, thinking back to her brief, impactful time with the goblins. Whenever they were attached the group coordinated themselves effortlessly at first Manasa thought they had some sort of magical link. Not a one was fearful or felt the need to watch their back, because they knew that their allies were always watching it for them. Manasa was never allowed on the battlefield, she was deemed too important. Their prophet, the one they vowed to protect no matter the cost.
"Truth be told, besides the occasional stray fearen, this was my first battle... before then I only sparred against my brother. but I've seen what true teamwork is like, if we spent more time learning to defend each other I think the guild would be way more formidable than new equipment or spells would make us."

"Yeah, that works great," Osseus replied while pouting from Ooro's hair ruffles. A sound alerted him, turning his head slightly to see Mimisko trip over what seemed to be thin air. He cringed slightly at the affair, wondering how a girl who trips over her own feet and can't handle a drunk would be able to survive the apocalypse. Then more voices rang, wanting to tag along in the journey to upgrade equipment. With that crew, the weaponsmith was planning on tagging along, presumably to use a staff in his bloodline.
"Wait I almost forgot!" Osseus took several knives and daggers out of his pouch and showed them to the blacksmith kid. "Would you mind sharpening those up for me? I can sort of help to find the staff if it ends up where we go."
He took a mental note to get everything sharpened and ready to go in these two weeks as well as build good relations with everyone around. The only way to survive here was to work together.

"Now that I think of it, you were lucky to not have had a tick attach to you earlier. In that case, we could probably just find a slab of plate here to strap onto your back. They can only attach to your spinal cord, after all." "Light armor is my forte, luckily. So you two are in luck. I think leather is best for you Osseus; I can probably mend your shirt and craft a leather chest to go over it. Does that sound suitable?" When asking the two, one of her ears had quirked, as though to hear something else. "Yes, yes, that would be perfect!" he nodded happily, hopping and clapping a bit at the same time. After his little happy dance, he turned to Osseus. "What do you think?"

Rylan's face scowled a bit. He should be a spiritual man, and yet, just yesterday he was damning the very Gods he was supposed to worship.
"I suppose I'm not nearly as close to the Gods as I used to be. When you travel the world for two years and see all the death and suffering with no sign of it ever stopping, it weighs on you. How could the Gods allow people to suffer this way?"
"How could they allow me to suffer this way..." He said under his breath.
"I had devoted my life to the Gods for about 8 or 9 years before the Fearen appeared. I had seen the amazing things they could do and felt as though I was helping people. But...once the fearen showed up...."
Rylan shuddered as the ritual flashed through his mind. He quickly tried to shake the feeling of dread it gave him, as not to alert Gaynor. Rylan pulled himself out of the water and began putting his clothes back on. They were filthy. He realized he hadn't finished his sentence and decided to change the subject.
"Jeez, would you look at these clothes? They're absolutely flthy! All torn and tattered! I think I may head to the village and see if I can find some more fitting clothes. Would you like to come along, or are you still going to hunt?"

^o^ ^o^ ^o^ Name: Luair Aldaos (Loo-Air Al-Day-Os) Personality: Luair is a very persistent and oddly optimistic elf, given the circumstances. She is well-mannered and treats all with courtesy. Fighting Abilities: Skilled in archery, she uses her bow Tveiralmr, and takes down foes with ease. The bow itself is endowed with runic magic, and any sort of arrow used will greatly increase in power. She is also nimble and can squeeze her light frame through many things. Past (optional): Once the princess of a ruined kingdom, Luair still carries her duties despite the many deaths of her people. All that was remaining, including Tveiralmr can fit in the giant rucksack she carries about. Physical appearance:

"Yeah." Pinky replied plainly. There wasn't much for her to learn on her own, but determining functional team strategies and attacks could prove much more useful than hitting dummies for two weeks. Pinky had flown solo most of her life, and especially during the last two years... but taking up place in formation the previous day had been easy for her. It had just felt like the most logical thing to do, and the strategy proved to work well. "You were helpful." Pinky said, now addressing the first part of Manasa's statements. It wasn't necessarily a compliment, but moreso an honest observation.

"Mm... thanks." Manasa replied, remembering the note she had received earlier that morning. "I'll try and get a group together to see if we can practice formations, you're welcome to join... We could learn a lot from you."
Manasa looked toward the forest and then took out the note given to her by Rylan. She could ask him... Rylan was one of the strongest members of the group, but his teamwork skills were... iffy. She could definitely see him benefiting from a training session. Plus, it would give her some time to get to know him...
Manasa blushed.
Manasa shook the color away from her face and walked over to Kama, quickly handing the note Rylan give her off to him and then leaving toward the forest, heading up stream in hopes of encountering the priest. As she walked she observed the sound of chirping birds and chattering insect. In the desert, encounters with fauna were few and far between, so these sounds were uncommon and practically foreign when combined together in such a way. They almost sounded like an orchestra...
Approaching an oasis... no, a pond, Manasa caught site of Rylan and another one of Manasa's teammates... Gaynor was it? She ran up to the two, eager to catch up. "Rylan! There you are!"

((hhhhh, I feel bad that the mobile cause my last reply to be shit because reasons! ;^;.))
After feeling embarrassed from falling like a tired klutz, Mimisko asked Ooro, Enoch, Osseus, and Altheron.
"So, how you guys been doing this morning?"

Rylan jumped and looked around, when he saw Manasa coming through the trees. He was surprised to see she followed him out here, it struck him as very odd.
"Oh, hey Manasa! We we're just about to head back to camp! Well, I was....I'm not sure about Gaynor... but I was gonna head to town to get some new clothes and what not, if you wanted to join me?"
Rylan looked back toward Gaynor.
"What are you gonna do, Gaynor? You want to head to town or are you going to keep travelling up stream?"

Gyanor wanted to contribute, she wanted to express the feeling of hopelessness she once held, but it wasn't worth continuing to the negativity. Rylan didn't seem much for continuing the conversation as well, it was best to push those feelings aside for now and focus on other things. As she heard him rustling his clothing for a while, she stood back up and faced him once more.
Just then, Manasa appeared on scene.
Although she had planned otherwise, Gaynor knew it was best to communicate more with her teammates for now. "That sounds like a good plan, I'm in need for better armor anyway. At least.." she looked at her arm, where the stab wound was previously, "Something to protect my arms."
She instinctively pulled up her hair into a bun again, it was to somewhat signify she was 'on duty' as a warrior instead of just a lone woman. It wasn't ideal, but sometimes thinking fighting to survive and aid the world was a job instead of her personal life made things easier to swallow. The once mellow face hardened once more, "I'll follow you."

Ooro smiled at Mimisko, "I'm fine, thank you."
We?
Ooro shuddered, realizing the implications she made when she requested Enoch to follow her. She hadn't let anyone into her home for over fifty years, and letting not one, but possibly four to five was horrific. There were reasons as to why she became strict on who came and go- she was a hermit. It was her goal to separate herself from others, but by leading the way to her home, they could find her later if they chose to remember. Even her offer to Enoch was more of having him sit outside until she came back with the tools necessary to perform her task.
Then was the fact, she had been trying to speak with time-mage privately as well.
"I, uh," she began, fumbling over her words nervously, "-will take the supplies over myself and do my work. I'll bring back your requests, so... please wait here. You should try and help Nicolas with his item- I doubt such a thing is hiding in the woods." She moved to pick up the scraps of leather and the breastplate from earlier. Ooro glanced at Osseus once more, "On second thought, I think I'll just make you a new shirt."
Her eyes darted to the ground, as she turned her body away from the crowd. Her voice could be heard in a low whisper, "I would appreciate it if you still tagged along, Enoch- but... it is not required." Ooro began walking towards the woods, despite she had usually ran to do her work quickly before.
If I walk slow enough, maybe he can follow me.
She disappeared into the woods, perking her ears as she did so to hear if any footsteps trailed behind.
