The world has changed twice so far: once when many people were changed from being human to being another humanoid being (from wizards to elves to even centaurs) while others were being swapped with creatures and beings from other worlds (ranging from small pixies to larger beings). While there were those theorizing why this happened to start with, various minor wars between the various creatures grew worse and eventually got to where they changed Earth's physical structure to something completely different.
The second change came about fifty years later when the world finally settled into an uneasy peace. Alien ships came in and with a large army to conquer the earth, but groups of Earthens banned (from the young to the old) together to fight off the invasion and, 5 years later, eventually won and ran the invaders off.
Various Shelters had cropped up during the war to protect civilians, though there are shelters that took advantage of the trust of those civilians, creating a space of control and obeyance rather than trust.
The story begins only a month after the end of the war. Many Earthens have relaxed and rejoiced, believing that another great change could not come any time soon. Yet there is a sly Witch waiting for the perfect time to trick a small group into causing that next wave of change.

-I want to keep the character profiles together in one place, so when you post your character's profile, I'll copy and paste them to the Profiles Section below.
-Our heroes (the playable characters) are the unsuspecting group and can come from any background (even any aliens that stayed or got left behind).
-In your initial post for your characters, please also introduce them in the roleplaying format. This includes their name, age, and appearance. You can add as much or as little detail to that as you wish.
-For now, I want everyone to start out with one character. Certain NPC types are playable by everyone.
-I will add any rules as needed and will mention it within the roleplay as I do. :3

Powers/Weapons: Actually has advanced strength and endurance that initially began to show up during extreme emotions, which she thought happened due to adrenaline rushes. As for weapons, her hands and body work for close combat and she has a small broken piece of glass that she carries with her and sometimes uses as a weapon.
Appearance: Short light brown hair, green eyes, and tanned skin. She's currently wearing rough military boots, camo pants, and black tank-top. She also has a tattoo, on her left shoulder, of her combat group with her group's number and her number above it (252 and 4, respectively).
