'I was looking for an apology, you-.' She saw that a masked figure had come onto the scene. The earlier tension started to simmer down and Spica gave up on pressing words out of 'Uldrix' and onto other things.
She rid her hand from the saliva and straightened herself, 'The name's Spica Tremille, the Witches' Society star pupil.'
It was a shame she couldn't see their face; she got the best feeling from people's reactions to her high title. Their gawks and gasps; it was satisfying to see.
'And Kyana?' She looked over to the girl and clicked her tongue again. The girl had yet to say a word and already Spica had an issue with her. There was something not right about her, and she waited to confirm her suspicions.
'It's sweet of you to think that, but you're better off trying your luck with someone else. And nice to meet you too.'
What a liar.

Name: Reynell "Rey" Thornsby Age: 17 (5'7") Personality: Crass, doesn't work all too well with others unless they share the same goals as her or if being a part of something benefits her in some way (she'll always ask for money first before anything else). Rey's always one to speak her mind, throwing insults left and right where she feels it's necessary and never really caring much for how the second party feels. Fighting Capabilities: It wasn't until this year Reynell began using "magicks", as she calls it, to get by. Because of this, Rey isn't very skilled with her Stone Lodestone, which the inhibitor on her right forearm allows her manipulate dirt and rocks. The most she can do with it is either haphazardly shake the earth beneath her, tear a slab of it from the ground and whip it forward as her main form of transport, or sometimes abruptly raise it to either propel her forward/ act as a barrier. She believes over time she will get better at her new craft. Backstory: Being born an orphan, Reynell spent all of her life moving from village to village on her own two feet, taking on the guise of a adorable, helpless child and staying with anyone who'd fall for it. Unfortunately, the facade grew more difficult to maintain once puberty hit, and she found herself offering small, miscellaneous "services" in exchange for shelter, but even that didn't give promise for a home. The last couple she stayed with grew tired of her lazy, inattentive ways and threw her out once her presence began circling rumors of unfaithfulness on the husband's behalf. Feeling wronged by their behavior, Reynell broke into their house while they slept, stole his lodestone, his inhibitor, a few morsels of food, and his wife's necklace (originally for pawning purposes, but over time she grew attached to it and it's shiny face). She wandered for quite a while before stumbling upon a flier promising a crapload of gold and new magicks. Knowing close to nothing about the Heaven's Spire and its disappearance, Reynell rushed over to the place of meeting, caring only for the spoils she'd get should whatever team they were rounding up proved successful. With it, she'd get her own place and no longer have to rely on dummies like the people she lived with/worked for. Additional Info: Her speech is rushed, slurred, and often packed with obscenities. She never cared to correct it. She also likes shiny things. Physical Appearance: ------------------------------------------------ As Rey couldn't afford to ride a train to get to the flier's destination, she took it upon herself to get to point B. Rushing through the city streets and out along the railroad, she tore through the earth on her trusty slab, laughing as the complaints from the screaming city-folk grew more and more distant. "HAHAHAHA!!!!!" she guffawed. " Thas' whut yoo suckas' git fuh messin wit me!!!!!" As soon as the castle became visible, she became ecstatic, so much then that she accidentally shot a blast of energy through her inhibitor, causing the stone clasped inside to abruptly shoot a giant slab of earth from underneath hers, catapulting her hundreds of feet into the air, toward the castle at an alarming speed. "ffffffffffff-fuck fuck fuck fuck fUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
She continued to scream in this manner until gravity eventually began the process of pulling her back down to the ground, a feat that sent screaming even louder as she continued to plummet to the ground floor- right in the middle of the little gathering she managed to see through her panicked tears. As a last minute save, she brought her right hand in front of her, raising the ground below. She soon clasped her hand into a fist and crumbled the earth down into fine dirt, hoping that that would make the landing less.... unpleasant. Her landing sent the smaller pieces of dust flying around the entire scene, but she wasn't embarrassed by any of it. A quick swipe at her cheeks and the tears were gone, and soon her face took on the same bored expression it always had.
"FOR ANYBODY JUST ARRIVING, THIS IS THE SEARCH PARTY FOR HEAVEN'S SPIRE!! MEET ME HERE SO I CAN GET YOUR NAMES!! I WILL BE YOUR LEADER, FREYJA HLIN!!!"
Rey dusted herself off as she walked through the cloud of dirt her fall had kicked up, unable to see anything but the glow of the bellowing woman's arms through the fog. She slapped the flier she had kept to Freyja's chest once she got close enough. "Yoo da chick whos talkin' gold?" she said calmly.

Monaiya heard that the fierce leader, Freja, made her annoucement. She walks to where Freja is at. She salutes to her "Sorry to not properly introduce myself. I am my name is Monaiya Hokania!" Monaiya smiles. "I will do my best to take the orders~!" She was tempted to make a bad "may I take your order joke" but it was no time for that. She at least knows when to be serious Freyja smiled at the young girl. "I like your attitude, Monaiya! It's nice to meet you!" As she was saying this, the glimmer approached her as well as a robot with spider-like legs. "Hello, Sparrow! Yes, you have done good." She spoke softly now, as she had noticed she had seemed to scare the Glimmer before. She looked towards the sky, noticing the sun was at it's highest point. They had time to wait a little longer, although, Freyja wasn't too keen on the idea. She wanted to get this job done as soon as possible so that she could move on to something else. Searching for things wasn't nearly as exciting as fighting, and The Outskirts weren't well known for being inhabited. At most, they'd probably run into a couple stray wolves. In the middle of her thoughts, another figure crashed amongst the group, causing Freyja to fan away the dust in the air to reveal a rather filthy looking girl. Her speech patterns were....interesting, to say the least. "If you're talking about the reward, then yeah, this is the place. The name's Freyja Hlin. I'll be your leader for the upcoming expedition." She stated, boldly. "What's your name, kid?" She asked as she noticed the Inhibitor she wore housed a Stone Lodestone. So she's another Stone user, huh? Interesting. Freyja realized she hadn't paid any attention to what lodestones the rest of the group had wielded, and began to worry a bit. Were they prepared for this?

"I lived in the bottom caves of Mt. Aldris underground." She replied, giving as bare-bones an answer as possible without offending her with being too vague. Rory tilted her head, humming and thinking, tapping her cheek with the crook of her wing. "Mt. Aldris? That's the huge volcano right? I've heard stories of it and the Ifreets, but it's so far. I suppose that's why I've never seen any other.... Draconids was it? I'm from the Rem Isles down south by the--" A loud scream and a thud, followed by a huge billow of dust snapped her attention away from her flow of speech, the harpy instinctively flapping her wings to clear away some of the dust before she breathed too much. As the fog began to clear, a rather bored looking figure became visible. "Phew! Nice landing! I give it a ten!" she shouted and grinned at the new face.

Although those surroundings couldn't see, Robin had raised a brow at the Avenaudi's behavior. They've never dealt with one, so they hadn't known what to expect in the slightest. It was a bit jarring to see the poor guy claw at his own face, however. ...Well, he seemed to have calmed down at least. "You are an Avenaudi, right? This is my first time seeing one of your kind. Do you like music? I have a radio-" as they were reaching back into their pack, they were interrupted by a voice from earlier.
Oh. That's right. Little miss brimmed-hat had been standing there fuming, as though steam was ready to shoot from her ears. Kyana had restated her name, yet the little witch who introduced herself as "Spica" had snobbishly retorted back at the girl's introduction. "I wouldn't have said anything either. Your temper bursts just like those sparks did a few moments ago," their finger pointed at the sky, and glanced back at Uldrix as though nothing notable was said. "Anyways, I have a radio I carry in my pack. Maybe we could listen sometime." Their hands shuffled through their belongings, and pulled out a dingy, rusted-looking piece of scrap metal that just barely functioned as a "radio."

'It's sweet of you to think that, but you're better off trying your luck with someone else. And nice to meet you too.' What a liar. Kyanalurin crossed her arms and gave a pout. "Aww man....you seemed really cool..." she looked off to the side pretending to be saddened. "That also wasn't a very nice thing to say! But I'll forgive you, because I don't like to hang on to bad feelings! Being sad or mad is no fun--no siree~!" The nerve of this kid...if she knew who I was she'd learn to bite her tongue.... Well, I would have acted to same way, so getting angry would be hypocrisy.

Sparrow's eyes flickered and his mouth stretched into a confident smile. He did good! He turned around to share his achievement with Pumilus, but just as he did so a girl landed in front of him with a loud boom. Sparrow let out an audible squeak and shuffled back, her landing not only frightening him but causing all of the birds in the area to scatter away. A big frown stretched on his face as the Glimmer ran a few paces after them.
"No, friends come back!" he called after the fluttering birds but it was no use. Sparrow hung his head low. Even the bird he had met on his way here was gone... all scared away. He looked down at his feet and shuffled them.

Pumilus breathed a small hum as the glimmer introduced themselves. Just as Sparrow looked like they were about to share their pleasant actions, there was a commotion just next to the group. He began to back away from the group so as to not get himself dusty, and noticed another figure nearby who was also backing away. He seemed to be out of range of the dirt cloud, but looked unsure about the group as a whole.
"I noticed you arrived here earlier. I did not catch your name, though I'm sure you've given it." He said to the blue haired man, expression unchanging. "You were to join us, correct? Many people have arrived now to search for Heaven's Spire." He said after taking another look around at all the figures that now resided in the general area. Pumilus then took a step to bow to the man and reintroduce himself.
"My name is Pumilus Lutorum. I look forward to working with you." He said just as he had earlier. He re-straightened his posture once again and awaited a response from the man.

"Yeah, it's undergroun-" Her response was interrupted by a large crashing sound. She kept a completely straight face throughout the ordeal, dirt flying in her direction as she struggled to keep it out of her mouth. The dirt cleared, revealing a girl the same height as Rory. "Cool," She remarked, with a face spelling out her feelings: she was completely done with everyone's shit. At least it ended that awkward interaction...

So far, the harpy was the only one who said anything remotely positive to her. But in her eyes, only her fellow witches' voices mattered. She trusted their word, yet everything so far went against it. A team of fighters? A heroic leader? The team who would reach the spire?
This was a joke. All she saw was some hotheaded old lady, a perky harpy, a creature who shoots orange goo, one blue-haired babbling sweet-talker and now this masked thing.
She replied, her voice calmer than ever, 'Well why don't you take a step back? Wouldn't want you to get hurt.'
'Good for you.' She smiled, peering into her eyes.

He looked down at his feet and shuffled them. Rory watched as a whole flock of birds took off after the debacle with the newest member's landing that rivalled her own in smoothness and dexterity, the small light-emitting fellow now looking sadly down at the ground. She smiled and crouched down next to him a little bit, patting him on the head with her wing. "It's okay, kid! They'll eventually come back, birds always do!" she grinned toothily. "I'm Rory, by the way. What's your name?"

'Good for you.' She smiled, peering into her eyes. A hint of annoyance flashed onto Kyanalurin's face for a bit less than a second, but was replaced by an almost nauseatingly happy smile. "Ahh! You're smiling! I knew you had it in you!" she chirped. "Oh golly, going on this expedition with you all will be really fun~!" the slightest hint of sarcasm could be heard in her voice, but not really enough for it to be all that discernable from her regular voice.

Rey's lips curled into a smile before she quickly dropped it, letting her face harden once more once the word "kid" fell on her ears. " Ey, ah ain't no kid, lady!" she shouted. " And da name's Rey." She would've went on to ask about the large woman's arms and stone, but two unfamiliar voices sounded behind her, causing her to lose her train of thought completely. "Phew! Nice landing! I give it a ten!" she shouted and grinned at the new face. "Heh, yea, yea.... I guess it was kinda coo-" she mumbled as she turned around to see the owners of those remarks, her eyes widening as she beheld the dragon-person and the winged armored individual. She immediately backed up into Freyja in shock as she pointed to the two and shouted "Whoa!!! Just wut dafaq are they?!??!??!??!?" She stared at them, shaking. She knew she didn't a lot, but THIS was just ridiculous.

Among the toughts he slowly flowed through he heard an outside voice. His eyes, still holding their sharp, empty gaze, simply watched the small being speak. Taking in a large breath he brought out a large smile and prepared to respond. He would give it a sliver of a chance and should things appear they were not to his liking he would bail to the nearest city. "Of course, of course! A pleasure! You may call me Murm Lumi, little Pumilus!" With that he extended a hand towards Pumilus leaning down slightly.

Monaiya smiled back at Freyja.
"It's a pleasure to meet ya as well, Freyja."
She giggled a bit.
"I'll do my best!"
Monaiya looks around for and she sees the winged person ((referring to Rory)). She looked at her in awe.
"WHOA! I never seen a winged person. I mean I've seen four armed people but- WHAT AM I SAYING?! This is what happens when I stick my butt in the ground for too long!"
((Her way of phrasing things sucks. What she meant was being on surface for so long))
Monaiya snapped out her trance of semi-stupididy. She walked over to the winged person.
"Um... Heyo! I hope will be good teammates!"
