Nearly 100 years ago, a meteor was hurdling towards the planet Nyros. A meteor so large, it would surely wipe out all life on the planet upon impact. The people were prepared for this untimely apocalypse, but upon the meteor’s landing, nothing happened. No explosion, no death, no earth-shattering collision. Just nothing. Soon, the five World Leaders organized a search party to find the crashsite of this meteor, to get to the bottom of what happened, and what they stumbled upon would change the future of the entire planet. Inside of the ‘crater’ that the meteor supposedly landed in was not a meteor, but in fact a myriad of magical, glowing crystals, soon to be referred to as Lodestones. These incredible stones would shift mankind into an industrial revolution, unlike anything before it. In only 100 years, the world’s technological advances increased tenfold. From machines as simple as the lightbulb, to as complex as sentient androids, to trains becoming the main source of transportation, these lodestones were helping the world for the better. Only, a problem soon arose, due to the paranoia of the World Leaders. Upon discovery of lodestones with the ability to manipulate the fundamental principles of the universe itself, the World Leaders devised The Three Laws of Lodestone. 1. Lodestones must never be used to resurrect the dead, or toy with life itself 2. The fusion of two or more lodestones is completely forbidden. 3. Should a high tier lodestone be found, it is to be turned into the authorities immediately Should these laws be broken, it will result in the perpetrator’s immediate execution. Along with these laws, an enormous tower was constructed over the crater, as a means of keeping the lodestones from falling into the wrong hands. This tower became known to the world as “Heaven’s Spire.” With all of this in place, the world seemed to be in an era of enlightenment for nearly 70 years. That is, until the lodestones began to spread. On the complete opposite side of the continent of Shakwen, enormous lodestone crystals began erupting from the ground, covering the landscape in these jagged, gargantuan crystal growths. The cities in the area were evacuated immediately, and a wall was constructed in an attempt to keep the lodestone growths at bay. This walled-off section of Shakwen became known as “The Outskirts.” With the wall being a short term attempt at keeping the growths at bay, the World Leaders wished to expand it, in hopes of buying themselves time. The people living beneath the enormous walls, however, refused to relocate. This small dispute between the Shakwel government and the dwarven people soon became violent, and full-blown war broke loose. While the war raged on for 30 years, this did push mankind to create even more technology, mainly new weapons. The war between the Rebels and Government has calmed for the time being, as a ceasefire was recently issued. Peace talks are being negotiated, supposedly, but that is the least of the Government’s worries. Barely a month ago, Heaven’s Spire, along with all the lodestones it housed, completely vanished into thin air. The government has become terrified at the ramifications that this may lead to, and has devised a way of finding this tower. A new search party, like the one formed when the lodestones first appeared. A flier was sent out across the continent. It states: ATTENTION PEOPLE OF SHAKWEN HEAVEN’S SPIRE HAS VANISHED, AND WITH IT, ALL LODESTONE DEPOSITS. A SEARCH PARTY IS BEING FORMED IN AN ATTEMPT TO LOCATE THE SPIRE. THE SEARCH PARTY WILL BE DEPLOYED ON THE 15TH OF THIS MONTH, AND WHOEVER IS BRAVE ENOUGH TO JOIN THIS CAUSE WILL BE REWARDED WITH THE FOLLOWING:
10,000,000 GOLD AND ANY LODESTONE OF YOUR CHOOSING.
MEET AT THE FOOT OF SHAKWEN CASTLE ON THE 15TH. It is now the 15th, and the warriors in search of this reward should be arriving soon…. (((Any more questions, look here: Lodestone Doc)) RULES

Lord Paxton Riece waited at the foot of the castle stairway, awaiting for warriors to arrive. He sipped from his glass of wine, getting somewhat annoyed as a specific bounty hunter he had personally hired had yet to show up. His face turned into a scowl as he spoke out loud to himself. " Ugh, where the hell is she!?" He growled " That woman should be here by now!!" Just then, a voice from the right interrupted him. "Yeah yeah, calm down. I'm here." The woman scoffed. " Finally. Your job is to lead these warriors once they arrive. No more of this 'lone wolf' attitude, understood?" He stated, coldly. The woman simply nodded in response as Lord Riece ascended the castle stairway once more, leaving the woman to wait for the warriors. (Your characters should be arriving to the foot of the castle. This is mainly the introduction stage of things. The story will pick up once a good amount of people have gotten to interact and introduce themselves.)
Here is the character I shall be roleplaying. (She will act as the leader of the search party, simply because it makes it easier to control the plot.) Name: Freyja Hlin Age: 34 Personality: Hotheaded, brash, always looking for a 'worthy fight.' Fighting Capabilities: Along with her hand-to-hand combat skills, she uses a Stone Lodestone Backstory: Freyja is a war veteran turned bounty hunter after the death of her brother, Tyr. Since she left the war, she has been taking whatever odd jobs she can find, and is now regarded as one of the strongest bounty hunters in the world. Rumors have started that she can fight off 10 soldiers at a time, but surely these are just rumors... Additional Info: Her arms were blown off in a mining accident at the age of 17. Physical Appearance: (Note, she is 6'3")

Name: Pumilus Lutorum Age: 15 (human years aka real years he's been around) 20 (munchkin years aka he is an adult to a munchkin) Personality: Emotionless robot Fighting Capabilities: Water lodestone. Can shoot water from his palms, along with manipulate water from the moisture in the air/ground. Backstory: He was built by munchkins years ago and has to repay their work by attaining the reward money of this quest. He is literally in debt to them, not just for making him but he was forced to give his word through programming that he'd repay their actions. He only had 30% of the funds he had to repay them with when he came across the flier asking for a search party for the Heaven's Spire. He wants to find the spire so he can repay those who built him. Additional Info: He is a hydraulic robot, meaning he wouldn't be able to function well without his water lodestone. It's possible for him to function without it due to the mana tied to his body naturally being able to control the water, but his movements will not be precise and he'll be at a great disadvantage. He carries maintenance tools in his bag for emergency joint repair. He's 4'2'', an average height for a munchkin. He comes from a munchkin village located just north of Ilgatoo town. These munchkins are a peaceful people, meaning his village is a neutral village and it's in his nature not to promote violence. He'll use whatever means necessary to avoid killing living beings. Physical Appearance:
Pumilus readied himself by purchasing armor with what money he had for what he knew would be a difficult and harrowing quest. He then traveled all the way from his humble village, Helianthus, to get to where he knew there was a possibility of being awarded a large sum of money for finding the Heaven's Spire. The journey from Helianthus to Ilgatoo Town was short, and from Ilgatoo Town it was a straight shot to Shakwen Capitol. Before he knew it he had reached the foot of Shakwen Castle. When he arrived, he recognized the woman who appeared to be waiting for people as Freyja, a mighty warrior who was known across the land. He had no interest in conflict, so he did not hold her in especially high regards. He did, however, expect to rely on her through their journey, so he would show his utmost respect at all times. As much as he could portray, being a robot and all. "Greetings. Bounty hunter Freyja Hlin, I presume. I wish to join your ranks in search of the Heaven's Spire." He bowed on his left knee and hung his head low to show what he understood as respect.

Name:Kyanalurin Thunderspyre Age:19 Personality: she fronts as a cheerful and bubbly girl with a kind heart, but if you dig deep enough and see past her act, she's misanthropic and sees other people as nothing but obstacles or stepping stones to glory. Despite all of that, if the right person comes along, she may soften up a bit. Fighting Capabilities: she wields an electricity lodestone, which she uses to manipulate technology around her. She can cause non-lodestone run technology to be cut off from it's electric source and for minor shocks to be sent to a target. She also wields a gauntlet that shoots bolts of heated plasma, with two charges. Backstory:(Optional): Kyanalurin is heavily involved with the Harrison trading co., which is famous for its lack of credibility and inside work. This quote unquote 'trading' company, is responsible for grooming an organization of hitmen, illegally creating and selling weapons, swindling many out if their money, and many other such crimes. Kyanalurin is the only child of the person in charge of the company, and is expected to inherit the business when her father dies. She grew up in a lavish place, but was kept away from other children, and bred by the people she was around to be ruthless and only go after the power her family so desired. Additional Info: her name (kyanalurin) is fake. Her real name would be overtly recognizable by anyone in law enforcement) Physical Appearance: ________ Kyanalurin stood befor the castle gates and an immediant rush of slight fear filled her. 'calm it, you haven't done anything yet... she thought to herself, hoping to put her consciousness at ease. Kyanalurin cleared her throat, donned a wide grin and headed over to the place she was supposed to meet. She rain over, with an enthusiastic aura surrounding her. "Hiya! I'll be working with you from now on~!" She chimed. She stopped in her tracks and gave a short bow. "Kyanalurin thunderspyre's my name, saving the spire is my game!" She looked dumbfounded for a second. "Ah....Thunderspyre.....heavan's spire....woah!! This really was fate~!"

Fighting Capabilities: Trained in the art of healing Murm has no physical combat experience, though he is able to dodge somewhat reliably. (((i need SOMETHING ok))) Backstory: With each new location he visits his story seems to change. Traveling from Grig'tymri, just emigrated from New Oblieus, a tourist from the Rem Isles. No one knows this man's history, all that is known is he never stays on place for too long. Additional Info: While his true age remains a mystery he appears to be middle aged. Physical Appearance:

Pumilus traveled all the way from his humble village, Helianthus, to get to where he knew there was a possibility of being awarded a large sum of money for finding the Heaven's Spire. Freyja hadn't noticed Pumilus when he approached, due to his small stature, and jumped a bit when she heard his voice. She peered down to notice what looked like a child kneeling before her. While this struck her as incredibly odd, it was somewhat flattering. He seemed to hold the bounty hunter in high regard, or at the very least with respect. This must be what Lord Riece feels like, what with all his royal attendants bending down to kiss his ass all day.."Get off the ground, kid. Quit grovelling. Anyways, its a pleasure to see that my name has even reached the youth of Shakwen, but...don't you think you're a little too young for thi-" She was cut off when she heard another figure speaking to her. What is this, babysitting? When do the skilled warriors come?
"Uh..hey kid. The name's Freyja. And yeah, haha. Sure is fate." She tried to muster up some sort of reaction to the girl's 'joke,' if you could even call it that. "Well, welcome to the search party. I'll be your leader." She stated, proudly. She peered around what she could see of the capitol, hoping to notice some sort of warrior that looked above the age of 13 to join the search party. Otherwise, it looked like she'd be stuck with a couple of kids. At this point, finding Heaven's Spire by herself was seeming more likely than this group. Then, a rather large figure approached. "Uh, hey! The name's Freyja. Nice to meet you, Murm." She grinned at him. Finally, it seemed like an adult had joined this group.

I am a young adult for a munchkin. I believe that this is sufficient age for a quest. Correct?" His speech was rigid as he rose from the ground. His expression never changed, and from his low perspective he kept eye contact with the large woman.

((I'm putting a lot of this under spoilers to make it look less overwhelming. I'm so sorry this is a monster.)) Name: Uldrix Age: He is 40 human years old (roughly 17-19 in development in Avenaudi years). Personality/Backstory:{Spoiler}{Spoiler - Click to View}-Uldrix was one of the weak hatchlings but somehow survived being slaughtered by his mother, so he doesn't have as strong ‘killer’ instincts as his siblings did. He would essentially have been alone and abandoned, living by pure chance with no one to teach him anything for years. If he hadn’t found a lodestone at an early age, and one that resonated so well with his species no less, he most likely would be dead. -Since Uldrix was a weaker sibling he had to raise himself and never imprinted. So he still has the ability to imprint on someone/something and become eternally loyal to them. (This is triggered by something specific I have in mind.) -He doesn’t know much about the world outside of surviving. Trying to regroup with his species proved futile, as he was too old to imprint on a whole species when he attempted to join them. They tried to kill him after they realized this and he has never put his trust in any creature since: unless mutual gain is in the cards. His teamwork can be impressive if they are fighting for something worthy of his trust. -He is very curious and doesn’t understand when things aren’t appropriate for certain social situations. -He reacts mostly based on his instincts, but is not unintelligent, just ignorant. He can make sense of things when explained. He can be very introspective at times and completely dense at others depending on what the matter being discussed is. -He sings to himself when he is stressed, the sound soothing for him. His singing voice is actually very pleasant for almost any species, although is still odd while speaking normally, carrying a mixture of different frequencies. -His reason for wanting to obtain the money is to try and save other unwanted hatchlings like himself, although he would never admit to it. Fighting Capabilities:{Spoiler}{Spoiler - Click to View}Weaknesses: -They are cold blooded so extreme temperatures can be dangerous, mostly cold. -Has to make sound to use echolocation. It cannot be hidden by his lodestone to work properly. -His “eyes” are how he sees and hears, if they are injured he only has smell to rely on which isn’t nearly as strong as his other senses (their eyes can grow back after a few days, however, and injuries to the eyes heal rather quickly if they aren’t severe enough, although other areas of the body heal at a relatively normal pace). -Certain frequencies can disrupt his sight for a short period time (incredibly high, think of a dog whistle), very loud noises or loud sounds close to his face can also distract/irritate him. -His suit is incredibly important to keeping his internal systems stable; without it, or if its disabled, he can overheat in battle or freeze in colder climates.
Strengths/Attacks/Other Abilities: -Can ‘see’ long distance. As things get quieter, they become less visible to him. -Incredibly stealthy, and with the use of the lodestone can be almost undetectable so long as he knows the surrounding area. This works better in dimly lit areas and during nighttime. -Very fast, runs on all fours but walks bi-pedal. -His attacks are mostly sound based since he relies heavily on the lodestone he carries, but his physical strength is also deadly when combined with his speed. Slowing him down, however, will diminish the power behind his physical attacks. -Their orange saliva acts as a way for them to “see” things that don’t make sound. It admits a frequency that only Avenaudi can hear. He can spit this in any direction and is able to see where it lands and keep track of it from incredible distances. This also works for tracking prey/enemies and marking his territory for all species to see. -Using the lodestone, he can create sounds to distract an enemy, essentially “throwing” sound to make it appear like something is coming from another direction. He can also muffle sounds and cloak objects/himself so that they remain relatively quiet despite how close they are to a target. -Also using the lodestone, he can create concentrated screeches that when directed at a target inflicts physical damage similar to a blade. -His lodestone is infused to his armor, which is in sync with his body. Additional Info:{Spoiler}{Spoiler - Click to View} Society:-The Avenaudi are a warrior based species that doesn't encourage any positive emotions or relations; the fathers abandon the mothers after mating and the mother tries to eat the weak children that aren't fast enough to escape when they hatch; the siblings grow up with each other and rejoin the adults once they've matured enough to fend for themselves. -Their entire population lives near the ocean between Ilgaloo Town and New Stalgid, almost on the edge of the desert. It is roughly the size of half Iron Haven (what they consider to be the land rightfully belonging to their ancestors, although its never been officially recognized). -They do not believe in an afterlife or any gods for that matter. They are very cynical about the world and continue living only to preserve what little they have. -There are mixed feelings about the Avenaudi, since they keep mostly to themselves but are incredibly territorial, attacking anyone who gets within their borders. Every few decades they expand or contract their borders based on how many are in their population. They never take up more room then required, but will fight without mercy when expansion is necessary. There have never been any successful peace treaties with them and they remain neither enemy nor ally to anyone. -This species imprints on their siblings so they can develop a sense of loyalty to their kind. If they are young enough they can imprint on a specific species. If they are isolated past their first few years of life and not allowed to imprint, they can only imprint on a few individuals. The older they get, the less individuals they are able to imprint on, although making it past infancy without imprinting is practically unheard of without their eggs being stolen before hatching. -Since they are known for being very good fighters, a lot of the Avenaudi eggs end up being stolen and are forced to imprint on usually humans to be permanent deadly body guards. It’s not romantic or maternal. It's loyalty. -Avenaudis who are taken in by humans are marked with an acid burning substance on their forehead in the symbol on a circle with three dots inside of it. This is so they cannot be confused with wild Avenaudis. They can be quite common in certain areas. -Their species has been experimented with in the past by humans to see if they were capable of deeper emotions to strengthen their bonds with their masters. It was found that when imprinting with species that have more emotional range (like humans) the Avenaudi would mimic this and also develop reflections of these emotions, arguably deeper than what even the human could feel. Hatchlings that were given no contact remained in a neutral state with no strong emotions towards anything, although they were extremely curious and seemed less hostile than imprinted hatchlings. Hatchlings that imprinted on hostile species, strangely enough, would break their imprints and end up murdering their master, their overpowering negative emotions making them killing machines. Other unknown experiments were done with strictly classified results. -Avenaudis hold an instinctual dislike of humans due to over 30 thousand years of their children being abducted. The only times they have ever gone to full-on war has been with humans. Originally their eggs were just stolen for food, but as evolution progressed humans learned the value of having an imprinted loyal servant who would do anything for them. It is because of this the Avenaudi developed into a warrior species, suppressing emotion in favor of survival and only allowing the strong to live. -One of the few emotionally driven customs in their culture is singing. Their songs are usually somber or rather peaceful. They do not enjoy singing in front of anyone who is not an Avenaudi, and even abducted Avenaudi’s rarely sing for their owners. Their singing is a strange sound that is pleasant for almost any species to hear, and some abducted Avenaudi are even tortured to try and get them to sing for the amusement of others. Physical Traits:{Spoiler}{Spoiler - Click to View}-Their eyes are actually ears: they see with sound. - Uldrix is roughly 4'5" when in his naturally hunched, bi-pedal stance. -(sorry for the google image, best example) (image) This is how uldrix "sees"; anything that makes sound he can see (so minus things like the skin and the skeletal structure and focusing on the organs) but he can also use echo location to see the things that don't normally make sound, but that requires him to give up his location because he has to screech. -He wears a suit that helps monitor his body temperature. It was only recently required (he stole it from his people), which is why he hasn’t journeyed outside of his territory much before this. -He ‘sees’ speech in a different way than most sounds. Emotions carry a variety of subtle inflections that change the color of the sound waves. This evolved for their species to be able to read hostile intentions from enemies through their speech patterns. Sometimes these can also confuse him, however, since emotions are complex in more intelligent beings or when not as focused.
Uldrix approached the forming group slowly, his talons scraping across the ground as he moved. He tried to keep his head up, but it kept bobbing down as he instinctually avoided staring at any of the forms near him. He focused on the pulsating figure of Freyja, his eyes examining her form for a moment before letting out a rather alarming screech in her general direction. "Better." He muttered in his odd voice, the figure now clearly in focus. "Hel-lo." He spoke again, the word sounding foreign to his lips, as though greetings weren't something he commonly participated in. His rough accent also wasn't helping much. "I am here for the..." he blinked slowly as he tried to process what he had overheard a few days prior. "...Heathen's Fire?" That didn't sound right.

When Freyja finished talking to the others who arrived, Pumilus addressed her previous assumptions. "You are in err. I am no child. I've been functioning for 15 years. I am a young adult for a munchkin. I believe that this is sufficient age for a quest. Correct?" His speech was rigid as he rose from the ground. His expression never changed, and from his low perspective he kept eye contact with the large woman. "Uh, my mistake." She started to say to Pumilus, when an unholy screech entered her ears. A screech she was all too familiar with. She was immediately put on edge, eyes darting around the area for the beast. He eyes finally landed on Uldrix, who had now approached the group. She took a deep breath and looked towards Uldrix. "I think you mean Heaven's Spire. And well you've come to the right place." She waved to Uldrix with an unusual amount of force, hoping the wind resistance against her metal arm would be enough for the creature to 'see' what she was doing. "Hi, my name is Freyja. I'll be your leader for this little spire hunt." She looked back towards Kyanalurin and grinned slightly. "Uh, yeah...this will be awesome.." Yeah, sooooooooo awesome. Finding a huge ass tower with a bunch of kids and an Avenaudi is exactly how I wanted to spend the next few weeks. Welp, at least there's ONE adult here.

((Too lazy to quote on mobile))
She jumped at the screech uldrix had let out. God, she had to bite her lip to keep from cursing like a sailor. She rubbed her ear slightly and turned her attention back to Freyja. "Go~lly, it sure will be! I just know we're all gonna be great friends!" The girl kept her grin, despite the fact she wanted to gag for saying that. Maybe she should've chosen a different persona?
do it for the lodestone, it's aaaaaall gonna be worth it

Uldrix looked between the figures that had approached and tried to learn the shape and placement of their vitals so he could more easily recognize them in the future. It would take him awhile before he could tell based on speech patterns alone who was who. "Heaven's Spire." He muttered again, the name clicking much better then whatever he had sputtered out moments before. "Yes, that was it." He noticed the small wave formation in front of Freyja's form and tried to imitate the sound by rapidly waving one of his own arms. He found the action to be ridiculous and stopped shortly after, going back to looking at the other figures. He repeated their names aloud from what he had overheard, trying to associate them with what he could see. He stopped when he reached Pumilus, realizing a name had not formed in the air for this one. "You," He pointed a crooked talon in their direction. He glanced over the odd inner workings of the boy, never having seen a water powered machine before. "Your name." He pulled his hand back from embaressment when he remembered he had forgotten to reveal his own. He placed his hand across his chest. "I am Uldrix."

Murm grinned as Uldrix approached letting out a faint chuckle as the others reacted and interacted. "It appears this has caught quite an interesting group." He remarked under his breath. His gaze flickered between everyone as introductions continued. It would be best to listen and catch as many names as he could, as he took in everyone's faces. Absorbing every detail of their appearance. He would be spending more than one day with these people presumably and it would be best to remember their faces with more depth than he would afford to anyone else.

Name: Aurora "Rory" Celaeno Age: 25 Personality: Optimistic, outgoing, a genuine person that wears her heart on her sleeve. Also extremely chatty with a very limited filter, and entirely oblivious to how annoying she may be to others. Fighting Capabilities:Her two larger arms pack quite a punch. She can also morph them into a sword and a spear, which she's named Ita and Siba respectively. She uses one of her mother's inventions powered by a Metal Lodestone to make up for her lack of arms, and has used it for most of her life. Backstory: Rory is the is the daughter of a harpy inventor and a siren performer from a small town of demi-humans back on the Rem Isles. After her father's critical injuries from fighting in the war that rendered him functionally mute, and her mother's failing inventions and ideas, they've become severely indebted to the wrong kinds of people. She joined the search party in hopes of freeing her family from their debt, and hopefully finding a way to restore her father's voice. Additional Info: Although it isn't her strong suit, Rory knows the bare basics in terms of mechanics and robotics, having worked alongside her mother growing up. This is limited to lodestone technology as opposed to electric or other fuel-powered items. Physical Appearance:----- "Coming through!" Rory shouted as she fluttered through the busy capitol streets, her off-balance flying sending her careening into a couple pedestrians on her way to the castle. "Sorry, sorry!!" she shouted, glancing back over her shoulder. The amount of provisions she'd packed was weighing her down WAY more than expected but she had no time to waste! That boat arrived so damn late, I gotta hurry!
Turning her gaze forward again, she gulped and widened her eyes in horror as she rushed straight past a tall middle aged man and almost face first into a massive armored woman. Immediately she stuck her feet out, skidding across the ground to a stop just inches away from the intimidating figure. "Phew! Rough landing!" she laughed and nonchalantly patted Freyja's chest armor with her wing, catching her breath for a moment to take a look at all those who'd gathered. The little robot-looking man immediately piqued her interest, as well as the large reptilian-esque man. What is he? He's so... cute! The tall older man and the smaller girl looked like strong magic users, and she couldn't help but feel her smile broadening. Everyone looks so promising!
"So is everyone here to search for the Heaven's Spire?" she grinned, ruffling her feathers and stepping back a couple paces, finally giving the woman some personal space. "Oh! Uh! My name is Aurora Celaeno, but please call me Rory! It's nice to meet you!" She waved with one of the larger arms strapped to her back, wiggling the fingers a little bit.

"You," He pointed a crooked talon in their direction. He glanced over the odd inner workings of the boy, never having seen a water powered machine before. "Your name." He pulled his hand back from embaressment when he remembered he had forgotten to reveal his own. He placed his hand across his chest. "I am Uldrix." Pumilus was not surprised by the screech the Avenaudi made moments before. He knew that the Avenaudi saw by using sound waves to their advantage. Unfortunately, knowing information on the species did not mean he liked the Avenaudi. He was indifferent. The Avenaudi were living beings, something in his programming to protect and help, but at the same time their warlike race clashed with the munchkin ideals of peace. However, he was inclined to answer the being's question. "My name is Pumilus Lutorum." He said. Normally with an introduction he would bow, but with an Avenaudi it hardly seemed necessary. "I trust you will be a valuable asset on this quest, Uldrix." When the winged woman came crashing toward their now growing group, the small robotic man's eyes nearly widened in surprise. Her entrance could have knocked him over, which would have been unsatisfactory. He turned his attention back to Uldrix. "The being that just entered is a Harpy, sir." He gave the Avenaudi the information without a second thought, for he knew the sudden commotion might confuse the sound-driven creature.

"Coming through!" Rory shouted as she fluttered through the busy capitol streets, her off-balance flying sending her careening into a couple pedestrians on her way to the castle.
What is he? He's so... cute! My name is Aurora Celaeno, but please call me Rory! It's nice to meet you!" She waved with one of the larger arms strapped to her back, wiggling the fingers a little bit. Freyja nearly swung at the harpy out of pure instinct as she nearly collided with the bounty hunter. The woman skid across the ground and landed in front of her, acting as though nothing happened, even going so far as to pat Freyja on the chest as she stood there. She stared at the harpy curiously as she began introducing herself, and scratched the back of her head. "Uh, yeah. Definitely seemed like a pretty rough landing. Glad to see you're alright, Rory, was it?" She was still a bit jumpy, given the Avenaudi nearby and that near head-on collision she just had, and was hoping she hadn't messed up the harpy's name. She held a hand out to shake, but realized the woman didn't have arms and quickly put her hand down, her face flushing red slightly from embarrassment. "Uh, I'm Freyja! Freyja Hlin! You've come to the right place. This is the group that will be finding Heaven's Spire, sooner or later." She chuckled, trying to ease her nerves. "So get acquainted with the group, cuz we'll be travelling together for quite some time."
