"In Cyrus's case, I would advice against a meet up with parents," She spoke softly, as though trying to suppress the emotion leaking into her voice to keep up her professional facade. "I like to have faith that people can change, as you do for your partner, but..." Her eyes flickered over to him, "....at the same time, that is not anyone's responsibility. Self care comes first. Helping others comes second. It is not Cyrus's job to reconcile with his parents and it is not anyone here's job to 'fix' their partner. But if being with each other makes you better...makes you happy...then a little pain and discomfort can be worth it in the end." She took a deep breath, her eyes cast to the ground. "There are problems with no solution. Occasionally, the solution is just to let go. Not necessarily to forgive, but to allow that burden to lift off your shoulders. Your past does not have to define you, but the actions you take despite that past do. Become stronger by choosing to continue. By being able to look back on the past and stomach the unfortunate events that have occurred to all of you." Cyrus turned to listen to the final back and forth between Amil and Albany before their session was closed, sighing and turning to Alti, still not having let go of his hand. He'd been done with this whole thing the moment they walked into the baby Vale-themed room and was ready to run out the door hours ago. "Hey, can you get us outta here?" Alti stood up from his seat, his hand still holding on tight to his partner's while the other one quickly snatched up the cupcake he left sitting next to him before the serious questions shot at him and the scientist. He narrowed his eyes at the last 'helpful' suggestion the woman gave, forcing himself to give her the benefit of the doubt at the snippets of advice that felt like an attack on him among further inspection. "Yeah. You're welcome. Thanks for the advice." he spat coldly at the housewife, staring down at the cupcake for a few seconds and contemplating silently whether or not he even had an appetite for sugar anymore tonight, especially for a sweet that was decorated in their gracious host's memories. The answer was obviously yes, Alti dragging his tongue across the top of the edible printing and getting rid of the cupcake's main flaw with a lazy shrug. Ready to end the night finally, he swallowed the frosting in his mouth and nodded at his exhausted soulmate's request, a portal opening before them not even a second after the gesture. He waited for Cyrus to step in first before taking a step through the rift himself, a familiar voice calling the battered girl's name causing him to pause long enough to catch Amil's shady request. Raising an eyebrow at the two as they left, he stepped through the portal and into their room and freed Cyrus' hand from his grip to let him walk to his bed on his own while he decided to check on the other pair's conversation. Standing where the last portal used to be, he held the cupcake between his thumb and index finger as he stared at the ceiling, recalling the last and only time he found himself in Nace and Amil's room. Alti's cheeks almost puffed out as he tried to stifle a few chuckles after remembering the spectacle the drunken fighter made two weeks ago. Pbbbb, idiot~ he thought as the trashy song's lyrics starting playing in his mind. He looked around on the ceiling as he visualized their room as he found it last before looking down in front of him and opening a tiny, almost unnoticeable portal before him that looked down into the other couple's room from their ceiling. He watched as Alraada and Amil briskly walked into his room, his breathing hitching slightly as a scowl formed on his face after the other skimpily dressed man verbally confirmed his affiliation with the otherworldly. "Does it have to be physical things...?" she asked, unsurely. She moved her eyes up to Amil, unable to stop the desperate look from crossing her features. "I-I mean, by any chance...could you maybe....fix an aura...or....something like that...?" she inquired. Alti shook his head as he glared at the scene, that same mix of conflicting emotions circling around in his core becoming more violent as he listened to the girl's response. While he did feel bad for her 'missing aura' situation, he didn't particularly feel this was the way to fix it, especially for a person he literally felt was strong enough to deal with it her own way. Bitch, don't you dare... he hissed in his thoughts, choosing to not intervene until he was sure what her final decision would be. In the back of his mind, he considered how all of this snooping around for future conflict might've looked to his partner, almost thinking to close the portal but instead kept it open because he felt doing so would be in Alraada's best interest. And Cyrus and Alraada are friends, aren't they?

Alraada's eyes widened. So, Amil could fix everything...? Aside from the shock of finding out his alignment with demons. She shook off the fear that was building within her. "Does it have to be physical things...?" she asked, unsurely. She moved her eyes up to Amil, unable to stop the desperate look from crossing her features. "I-I mean, by any chance...could you maybe....fix an aura...or....something like that...?" she inquired. Amil was surprised by the sudden shift in request but nodded his head. "Uh, y-yeah! I told you, I could fix anything! I mean, if you want me to fix the aura AND the wounds, I'd need 2 years instead of just one, but again that's no time at all!" He gleamed as he held his hand out once more, the eyes fixated on Alraada. "Just let me handle everything, and I'll make sure you're good as new!" He grinned. "So, is it a deal?"
Aberdeen jumped in response to the voice from outside the door, the shock raising their heart rate even higher than it had already been. Their throat felt dry and hoarse from all the puking that they could barely manage to whisper anything. The fighter stood up from the toilet and laid against the locked bathroom door that Maicy stood behind. "I'm fine" They muttered, their voice raspy and rough. "I just feel....really gross right now.. I don't want you catching anything that I have...hehe" Their chuckling quickly turned into a pained coughing as they glanced down at their phone, not having received anything from their mother since they told her the news. Aberdeen tossed their phone across the room and pulled their legs in close to their chest. "Don't worry about it."

Galystris was shocked at her sudden considerate words. She looked back down to her soulmate, as if she were speaking a foreign language. "I'd do the same. Just don't expect me to go easy on you and console you with simple apologies and blind words of 'it's going to be fine.' " she spoke plainly, although with a hint of remorse building up in her words. "I'll be sure to keep that mind." And with that, the sceintest told everyone to go back to the hotel "I promise I won't get offened." Piami reassured "Trust me, I'm sure it may not at as bad as... well... some of the things my mother's boyfriend called me...." Piami looked at the floor but looked back at Galystris. "There are two things. One related to my mother and one related to last night." Piami took a deep breath. "I'll start with the latter. I'm.... sure you may wanna hear about that first than the former.." Piami gave a bit of a serious look for a moment. "You see, while I was in the bathroom before we got to the party, I finished a phone call with my aunt. She was telling my about the... healing powers I have." Piami looked down and blushed in embarrassment on what she would say next. "I was trying to figure out how I would be able to heal people, since my powers had just awaken." She looked back towards Galy "Then there was this bird that flew into the bathroom window and injured itself. I check to see if the little guy is okay. Then...." Piami place her hand on her chest. "I had a feeling in my chest for a moment and.... I began to sing..... After that, the bird suddenly felt better and flew away." She looked back down. "I know it sounds silly to you and I can't really blame you if you think that but... it is true." She wants Galystris to see she is being honest about it. "So.... Galy.. I need some advice... How would I approach Alraada with this?" ((Piami has no idea that Amil is making a deal with Alraada.))
"I.... okay" Maicy respond with worry in her voice still present. She really wants to help Aberdeen, with how sick they sounded. But it's really hard for her to do that at this very moment. However, an idea popped into her head. "Would it be okay if I go out and get something for you?" she asked, still feeling concerned. "If I'm honest, I'm feeling really bad that you're feeling ill at the moment and I'm not being able to do anything to help you."

"T-They'll take me back...They'll love me again...." she muttered She ran her younger fantasies of having her aura back, making her parents proud. Well. maybe they'll want to be her parents again when she gets her aura back. She wouldn't be an abomination! She thanked him repeatedly, showing an uncharacteristic and almost childish happiness. She finally looked over at him, with the same expression of unnerving joy. "J-Just the aura, i-if that's alright..." "So.... Galy.. I need some advice... How would I approach Alraada with this?" "Just go for it." Galystris spoke plainly. She leaned in a bit closer to Piami to indicate that she was listening. "Ask her outright what you want to know. I don't see her wanting to tip toe around the answer to your question." she said, glancing at the door. She wondered what the foolishly selfless girl was doing right now. "Do you wish to talk a little bit longer, or go talk to her now?" she inquired.

Piami looked up and made I contact with Galystris
"Well, there is one more thing I wanna talk about before I may and talk to her. It's former I mention earlier that I wanted to talk about."
Piami's eyes looked to her left
"I'm sure you may not have a good opinion on family but.. I just wanna check to see if my mother is okay. She has been in the hospital for a couple of months due to... well... I'm not too sure what happened but...." Piami looked further down "...Her boyfriend might've did something bad...."
She gripped her skirt, due to uncomfortable she felt talking about that. Her eyes turned back to Galy.
"Though, a while ago, when we got into the experiment, my Aunt told me that she is doing better than she was months back. So, once the experiment is over, do think than will be a good time to check on my mother?"

She thanked him repeatedly, showing an uncharacteristic and almost childish happiness. She finally looked over at him, with the same expression of unnerving joy. "J-Just the aura, i-if that's alright..." His eyes widened at the girl's pitiful response, silently responding to her newfound 'happiness' with a disapproving head shake. He would've closed the portal right then and there, but with the shady exchange having poured out into their room and probably caught by his emotionally exhausted partner, and with the many instances of the two going out of their way to help the lettuce-haired woman time after time per the scientist's request now prodding at the back of his mind, he knew he couldn't. No matter how much he kind of wanted to. After all, if she couldn't see the many red flags in the other man's promise and the error in her aura-deprived logic, then why should he help? It wasn't like he was in charge of her or anything, although with the amount of times we check on her, you'd think we were her older brothers or something... Alright..... After mulling it over some, he decided to follow in his soulmate's footsteps and prevent his 'friend' from making yet another mistake, one that he most definitely was far better equipped to handle on his own. "I'll, uhhh..... I'll be right back..." he muttered over to his partner, insisting that the other stay where he was with a single wave of the hand. Closing the peephole he made, Alti snapped open another rift in front of him and quickly stepped into the other room before any deals could be made. "NOPE!" he blurted as he skittered over to the two, raising both hands before him, "Nope, nope, nope, nope, NO. PAUSE. TIME OUT. WHAT. THE FUCK. IS GOING. ON."

It'll only be a year, if that's the case. Don't worry, it'll be over in a second." He chimed as he began to reach his hand towards the girl. But as fate would have it, yet another nosy experiment member had to rear their gaudy head. Amil's smile contorted into an intense scowl as Alti stepped into the room and possibly dashed any hope he had of making a deal in this entire experiment. His eyes shot daggers at the new presence, the amalgamate gloves beginning to boil as they locked their sights on Alti. "Why the fuck can't you mind your own business?" He spat as he turned to face the man. "I'm trying to help my friend out! It's the least I can do after what had happened yesterday. So kindly butt out, Alti! This doesn't concern you! I'm doing this to help Alraada!" He turned back to the girl, his composure now being completely lost as he began to give in to his rage. "Alraada! Do we have a deal? I need a yes or no!" He spoke quickly as he struggled to keep his cool.
"Maicy, I promise you, I'm okay." They spoke from behind the doorway, the lie already beginning to weigh on them after a day of honesty and opening up to one another. "I just get like this sometimes! I'll be okay, don't worry!" They called out again.

I'll be okay, don't worry!" They called out again. Despite trying her best not to cry, Maicy was already on the verge of tears. "I know that I'm being a worry wart at the moment" Maicy uttered, a bit of anxiety present in her voice. "But I couldn't help it though. I was just wanting to see if you're okay because...... I care about you.. Guess I'm just too anxious, huh? Hehe..." Maicy tried her best to keep herself from crying. "B-But hey, if you say that this happens sometimes and you'll be okay afterwards, guess I should have nothing to worry about! ..... Right?" Maicy tried her best to sound a little cheery but it was not working. The anxiety was too strong. "Um...P-Please excuse me for a moment, I just need a moment..." Maicy went back to her bed, grabbed onto her pillow, and held onto it while burying her face in it, while letting the tears flow down. Maicy, you are way too paranoid... Stay calm, you idiot.... She is trying her best not to make a sound though.

"NOPE!" he blurted as he skittered over to the two, raising both hands before him, "Nope, nope, nope, nope, NO. PAUSE. TIME OUT. WHAT. THE FUCK. IS GOING. ON." Alraada snapped herself from her happiness induced trance to look over at Alti. "A-Alti, D-Didn't expect to see you here!" she sputtered nervously, still in shock from the huge information intake from earlier. Looking at Alti's perceived anger, she wondered if there was something else going on. Oh wait Of course something else was going on. Amil was working for a fucking demon. How could she let her idiot fantasies blind her like this?! Although...if she got her aura back... She'd have to think on this further. "Alraada! Do we have a deal? I need a yes or no!" He spoke quickly as he struggled to keep his cool. "L-Look Amil, thank you...but I should probably think on this further...I mean..do you have any success stories or anyone who can recommend a deal to me? Any information on the demon you work for...? I-I mean, having my aura back w-would be wonderful, b-but maybe I have t-to think on it more...." she spoke, in fluctuating volume. Her nervousness was amplified by about twenty,as she had seen Amil angry before. Especially with the new 'demon' information, who knows what he'll do. "I-I'm sorry, I got into some kinda s-stupor i guess...." she looked over at Alti. She sighed, thinking of her inclinations. She knew how much she wanted this. She knew how long she wanted this. But...demons. But...aura. But...demons BUT...AURA DEMONS AURA FUCK
"D-Don't get me wrong, I want this a lot...don't get mad please when i say this but there's a bit of a stigma attatched t-to demons and stuff...n-not that I blame you!!" She stared at her shaking free hand back at Amil's. Damn, she really wanted this. She wanted to thank Alti for snapping her out of her idiot trance, but then again....she could get paranoid and destroy the opportunity of her life. A lot of questions popped into her head, so she heaved a sigh, calmed down and looked at Amil. "So I have a few questions if thats ok. One: When you say an extra year in limbo, what do you mean? I don't want to go off of the wrong religious text." The words didn't fall out of her mouth well. Especially for an athiest. "and two: who is this supposed "demon", and may I have some information as to why they want me to spend another year in limbo?" she inquired. The existence of demons was an out-there thought for her, but she's seen some shit at this experiment. She sighed again, before muttering an apology to Amil for her erratic behavior. "I'm sure you may not have a good opinion on family but.. I just wanna check to see if my mother is okay. She has been in the hospital for a couple of months due to... well... I'm not too sure what happened but...." Piami looked further down "...Her boyfriend might've did something bad...." She gripped her skirt, due to uncomfortable she felt talking about that. I see no reason not to." she spoke, admittedly a bit worried about the situation her mother was in. She never liked thinking about abuse in any way shape or form. "If you would like to, maybe we can ask the scientists if we can visit her sooner."

The ends of Amil's mouth twitched as new questions began to arise, thanks to Alti's involvement. So close..... I was so close.... The corners of his mouth curled in to a wicked smile as the gloves began boiling even further, beginning to form faces and forms inside of the black ooze. So.... fucking..... close.... He inhaled sharply as he smiled down at Alraada, all composure and clarity completely thrown out the window. "An extra year in limbo is exactly what it sounds like." He spoke, his tone more venomous than he would have liked. "You spend a bit of time in limbo before its decided what's to do with you, whether you're off to heaven, hell, reincarnated, off to purgatory, or whatever other possible outcomes there are. The point is, this is after your sentence is chosen. While you're waiting in the afterlife, you are protected from outside sources, like demons. However...'" His hand curled into a fist, enraged that he even had to explain this. "However, if you stay in limbo PAST the time that you're sentenced, it makes you susceptible to these outside forces. That means if you have a one way ticket to heaven but you wait too long to actually GO there, demons have a chance to drag you down to Hell instead. But like I said before, a year or two in limbo will feel like you spent a day more in there. You're going to be living for all eternity, after all." He glanced over to Alti as he prepared to answer his next question, several thoughts about the man running through his head before glancing back down towards Alraada. "The demon in question is a crossroad demon, and I'll leave it at that." His smile faded into a jarring frown. "If you don't know what a crossroad demon is, a good example of what they do is what I'm doing now. Making deals with humans in exchange for their souls. However, in my case, I'm doing it to HELP you. When this demon found me, he had already decided I was going to be working for him forever. It was out of my control. Consider yourself lucky." He muttered. "Alraada, I'm going to ask you one more time. I can fix your aura, make it as good as new! For only a YEAR. So do we have a deal?" His voice clearly gave away his impatience, the amalgamates awakening beginning to wear on the man's psyche. There was no telling how long he could keep in control until Alraada and Alti got the chance to meet the demon in question personally.

Vale and Albany made their way back to Alraada and---no, no. Vale's room. Alraada wouldn't be staying with him tonight most likely, despite their progress in therapy.
"She'll come around," Albany promised, "if you do as well."
Vale sighed and stepped into the room, cracking his neck before falling face first onto his bed. "It hasn't even been a month," He mumbled into the sheets before rolling over onto his back. "How did you make it this long with dad?"
Albany stiffened a bit before lowering herself to sit next to her son. "He was kind. In the beginning..." She trailed off before falling onto her back next to her son. They both stared up at the ceiling with glossy eyes. "He showed his true colors many years later. There were hints, but I never picked up on them." She turned to her side and furrowed her brow at Vale. "You were small when things got bad. But since you've left, they've gotten better. Really." She smiled, but there was still some lingering sadness. "Just remember. You are my son too." She leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the cheek before giggling and standing back up. "If you'd like, I can stay with you for the night?"
"No, no," Vale waved at her dismissively. "You need to get back. Nace is here, I'm sure he'll report that you've been seen. You'll have to do some dodging for a few days before actually getting back to the safe house."
"Fair enough," She nodded. Vale slowly got back up and wrapped his arms tight around his mother. She let out a startled gasp before another breathy laugh left her lips. "You're still such a child," She teased, but hugged him back even tighter. "Be good, alright?"
"Yeah," Vale's voice sounded a little hoarse, "I'll do my best."
"Do better than your best." Albany said as she pulled away, her hands on her son's shoulders. "You are a Vinaigrette! You can do this!"
Vale smiled beneath his mask, his mother's enthusiasm rubbing off. "Right. I can do this."
Nace peeked out from the floor of the birthday room, stretching when he saw the coast was clear. He got to his feet and cracked his back, annoyed with how well things had gone for his ex during this session, but intrigued as to what he had learned about his own partner. He took a swing from his flash and made a disgusted face. Non-alcoholic beverages were so boring. But pretending to be drunk was easier than facing this crowd. He'd had several moments where he had almost spoken up, but playing dead had mostly gone in his favor. He really would have fucked things up if he'd opened his mouth. And they needed allies.
He wandered around outside of the hotel, texting Amil to let him know when it was okay to come up to their room. Knowing his soulmate, he was probably doing whatever the hell it was he said he was going to try with Alraada right now, since Vale and her were separated for the time being. Eh, maybe he should just go and ACTUALLY get drunk while he waited. No harm in having some fun, right?

His voice clearly gave away his impatience, the amalgamates awakening beginning to wear on the man's psyche. There was no telling how long he could keep in control until Alraada and Alti got the chance to meet the demon in question personally. Alti sidled behind the girl's wheelchair and heavily leaned against it with a bored expression on his face as he listened to Amil quickly lose his patience, the man lightly resting his chin on Alraada's right shoulder in an almost symbolic fashion. He took note of the enraged demon amalgamates churning around the man's fingers as the other man tried to back up his claim, squinting his eyes whenever the demon servant glossed over any important details (or just sometimes left things out entirely). Not that this particular brand of dishonesty was all that surprising in the man's case. Having first-hand experience dealing with a powerful demon of this type at possibly regular intervals probably gave Amil all the lying chops he needed to do the crossroad demon's dirty work for them. Alti exhaled deeply after the other sharktoothed man finished his little tirade and addressed the battered woman, turning to her himself and lowering his voice as to both force himself to calm down and appear as gentle as possible in comparison to the opposing party. "Yeah, do you? Alraada," he started, "I know it sounds tempting! These types of things always do, but this is your soul you're messing with here! Your frickin' soul. That's something you only get one of in this life. The true representation of you as a living being, as an individual; the only thing in this world that makes you... truly unique. You don't ... you don't.. play with that...." His eyes began to give off a look of hurt rather than anger now for only a moment, Alti noticing the breaking of voice soon after his pause and cursing at himself internally for choosing to display such emotion at such a poor time, in front of what seemed to be his polar opposite in this instance and this instance only. "It's delicate..." he continued as he placed a kind hand on her shoulder, "It's not something you wanna break. Every single piece is important..." Alti then turned to face the desperate deal-maker, the bitter frown on his face soon curling up into an angered sneer as he looked up directly into Amil's eyes. " which is precisely why you shouldn't sell it, either! Only the weak and desperate choose that path!" "And you can fuck off with that 'helping' bit!" he spat, removing his earlier censor as he stood up to confront the husk of a man standing before him. "You know damn well you're not doing this for her! If Crossroad Demons don't make deals to help the people they trick, then the little shits working under them can't possibly be any good either! Especially if they don't have a soul!" He looked down to Alraada, his eyebrows furrowing as he ran some of her earlier responses through his head before speaking. "Ya know that 'stigma' you were talking about? Yeah! It's fuckers like him and whoeeeeeeeever he works for that give demons a bad name! They trick people for their own amusement, and then the people they fool go around making contracts to, what? Help them? Fuck no, it's to save their own asses! To prolong their already useless fucking existence for as long as they keep making deals. And they don't give a crap who they screw over, cuz' in the end, eyyyyyy they might as well! They're already damned! Ain't that right?" He said to Amil. He took another deep breath before kneeling down beside Alraada, shaking off enough of the anger to force another caring voice for her. "Look, I know you probably really miss your aura," he said almost awkwardly, as he wasn't sure how he could properly relate to such a tragedy, "but... what's some power you only have for a little while compared to the pure foundation of your being that lasts forever? Is that really a decision you want to make so early in existence, Alraada? So," he concluded as he slowly stood back up, "I'll ask again, for our host's sake, cuz' he's lookin' kinda steamy right now: do you?"

Maicy sat there for the next few minutes. She's wiping the tears off of her eyes. At that moment, however, her stomach began to growl. That stopped her from her silent crying as she began to feel embarrased that she hasn't eaten anything since the birthday lunch. Granted, that cupcake with 5 year-old Vale with his ass sticking out did made her lose her apitite at that moment but it was only just that. At that moment. Now, Maicy doesn't had to deal with unappetizing cupcakes. She got out of her bed and walked over to Aberdeen. "Hey Abedeen, I'm gonna go out for to get something for the three of us to eat." Maicy spoken up, anxeity in her voice still present. "I know you're not feeling well at the moment but I'll get something for you in case you do feel better. Plus, I did say earlier that I was going to order something for you and Alraada when the birthday celebration thing was over." Maicy looked down. "That was, until the therapy session started. Heheh" She chuckled nervously before she shook her head. "But you know. I wanna keep my promise get some food for you and Alraada. So, I'll be right back." And with that, Maicy grabbed her wallet, put it in her pocket, and got out of her room. She walked down the stairs. Yes, she does know that the elevator is fixed but she's not taking too much chances. Plus, she probably needed the exercises anyways. After that, she got out of the hotel and went into a fast food restaurant that is literally next to the hotel. How convenient. Maicy knows it's not really a good idea to go to far, give what Vale and Amil did yesterday. She went up to the cashier and ordered three burgers and three drinks. One of them being an orange soda and you can pretty much guess who has got that. Once she got the meals, she was ready to go back into the hotel as she got out of the restaurant. However, something caught her ear. It's the sound of someone.... pleading for help..??Maicy began to walk closer to where it's coming from, which is at the side of the restaurant. She sees a woman rebellious grabbing onto an inocennt person's hand, while said person is trying to escape.
"This does not look good." Maicy whispered to herself.
"Please, let go! I don't have what you are looking for! I'm just working to pay off my debt!" "Bullshit! Tell me or else I'll rip you in half, you worthless shut-in"
Worthles.... Shut-in..... Hearing that phrase had Maicy's blood into a boil. Without thinking, Maicy put the bag of the food down, ran over to the two and punched the rebellious woman in the face, knocking her unconscious. Maicy looked at the person that was being harassed.
"You may wanna run" Maicy said sternly. "I don't know how you got here but you should run while you still can."
The person nodded and ran off.
Maicy sat down on the ground, realized what she has done, and sighed.
"Way to fucking go, shit for brains." Maicy scolded herself. "Not only you have some things in your past you have yet to tell Aberdeen but you also added another thing to the list to tell them. Maicy, you are a fucking geinus." Her voice became more waver as she saying all these sarcastic things about herself. "The smartest person in the fucking planet!! Yeah!!!!"
Maicy looked down and tried to take a deep breath to calm herself down. She got up, walked over, grabbed the food, and began to leave. But not before, finding some random blanket around and covering up the unconscious woman, like how a mother covers up her child before they go to bed.
"Sorry dude." Maicy said nervously. "I have nothing against you. Just the phrase you called that person." After that, Maicy went back to the hotel with the food in her hands. She walked upstairs to where the hotel rooms are. She stood in front of the door of the room she and Aberdeen are staying in. She sigh quietly, hoping no one can hear her. As she began to open the door, Maicy walked in. She head towards the bathroom door. "Hey, I am back. I'll leave your food in the table once you'll feel better." She spoken up. "Hope you'll feel better soon." And with that, Maicy walked over to the beds, placed Aberdeen's food on the side of the table close to Aberdeen's bed, her own food close to her bed, and Alraada's in the middle. She took off her shoes as her stomach began to growl again. She grabbed her own food, unwrapped the burger and began to bit into it. However, guilt is still creeping up on her.

Alraada's expression shifted to one of annoyance and shock. "You're getting angry with me for asking questions? This is a giant fucking decision, Amil" she spoke. His impatient response to questions made her even more suspicious. "Look, I'm sorry you didn't your deal immediately, bud. You almost had me walk into it blindly. The only reason I ended up thinking about anyone was becuase someone ran up to me and told me to stop in my fucking tracks." Her words seemed to be thanking Alti for intervening, She calmed herself down. Starting a fight wouldn't be good. So," he concluded as he slowly stood back up, "I'll ask again, for our host's sake, cuz' he's lookin' kinda steamy right now: do you?" This is her soul she would be giving up here. She raised a hand to her chest, feeling the scar that took her aura, but also, feeling her heart beating. "I've gone without an aura for years...and although it may be a bit more than some dumb shields to me, I understand that my soul is more important to me....and if some people call me an abomination...fuck 'em, I guess. Since I don't want it fixed like this..." she mumbled. She probably lost Amil's friendship right there, and she really didn't want to think about the person she took a fountain for being manipulative, but then again... He was Nace's soulmate. Disappointment was there in her tone, as there was approval she wanted to win with her aura back. "I'm sorry Amil. If I've gotten this far without it, then I can keep pushing forward. Thank you very much for your offer, though." she said bowing her head lightly. She looked back over at Alti, fighting back grateful words from spewing out. She'd have to wait until Amil left. "I don't trust myself to make the right decision in my state, and honestly, I don't think anyone should." she said with a grim laugh. She averted her eyes back down to her lap, waiting for the impending reaction.
