So it IS coming to that already? No big surprise there.. Vernon sighed and reached into the back of his pants, revealing the pistol he'd been hiding and aiming it directly towards Sibyl. He let out a yawn and looked around at the rest of the group. "I'd say this is what's gonna keep you. I doubt I'M the only person here who's armed. So I'd say you getting gunned down by every other person here is probably whats gonna keep you in your place." He smirked before pulling his flask out with his free hand and taking another sip. "Whattya say? Wanna start the savagery early?" He raised an eyebrow. "Everyone of you belong to my father's family," Vasuki rose to his feet, slamming his hands firmly on the table. His voice was stern, yet still held an air of control. "Essentially, you are property. Priceless, property that I will have to go through the trouble of replacing if there are any damages." His eyes surveyed his father's selections, his face as monotone as ever. "I know the whereabouts of every body you bury, the name of every man you sleep with and every piece of information you gather. If you try to dispose of one and other, it cannot be hidden from me." Vasuki sat back down, folding his hands in front of himself once more. "Are we clear?"

Rest assured I am wise enough to understand the consequences that were to befall me if I were to commit such heinous actions." Sibyl shooed away the thought like it had never occurred to him in the first place. "However, the question still remains. How will the inheritance be handled, if not through acts of violence?"

"You underestimate me, sir." Vernon responded to the demolition expert across the table, his smile quickly fading. Listening to the boss' son, Vernon couldn't help but scowl at his word choices. I ain't anyone's property, you can go fuck yourself.. He scratched the back of his head and looked back at the siblings in question. "So how is it getting decided, then? Enlighten us."

The fact that he could so brazenly point a gun at the rest of the crew, while having the audacity to yawn like everyone else couldn't easily take him down with one quick headshot... Reina's hands strayed to her backpocket, feeling around for her trusty glock until- "Everyone of you belong to my father's family," Vasuki rose to his feet, slamming his hands firmly on the table. His voice was stern, yet still held an air of control. "Essentially, you are property. Priceless, property that I will have to go through the trouble of replacing if there are any damages." Vasuki sat back down, folding his hands in front of himself once more. "Are we clear?" Of course, that filthy rat really was no threat. Her hand slipped out of the pocket her glock was resting in, instead pouring herself another shot of whiskey. She'd have to be careful not to let her guard down, however, since any of these grovels could easily take advantage of her situation. But the way their boss so carelessly referred to them did raise some ire. "I don't much like tha' insinuation that we're property," Reina growled, taking her massive cigar out her mouth and blowing out a stream of smoke before continuing, "I wanna know what I gotta do too; I ain't goin' in blind,"

This seems like alot of heavey information to take in. Though, even if she is a part of this, Asutane knows there is going to be some consequences for this deal if anything goes horribly wrong. She shrugged as she crossed her arms.
"I think I am pretty clear. Unlike my older sisters, I know that if do anything stupid, I may have to face up to it." Asutane spoken in a formal tone.

"With Manasa and I serving as my father's eyes and ears, you will all be kept close and judged until the final decision can be made. You will all be working together, so I suggest getting friendly."

"Working together?" Robert raised his eyebrows and tipped his hat over his eye patch slightly. With a shrug he sunk into his chair. Cooperation did not seem like this group at all, it had the potential to be a train wreck but a train wreck he certainly wanted to see. "Heh, can do, boss. Well, we can at the very least." He shook his head toward Shirley who leaned forward onto her elbows. "May I dare to question just how we will be working?" Her voice was polite, yet her posture and expression gave off a different feeling. She smirked, raising her eyebrows and putting her chin in her hands. "Just a curiosity, sir."

Vasuki nodded and then opened an envelope in front of him, neatly cutting along the edges with a letter opener prepared beforehand. He pulled out a selection of identical keys and then slipped them forward towards the center of the table. "You will be staying at my father's hotel, Peacock Feather," Manasa chimed in, dabbing the corners of her lips. With no objection from her brother, the woman continued. "Vasuki and I will be as well, to keep a close eye. Your primary concern will be Stray Dog and the Mafia. You will be confronting them directly, and how you do so will help my father in his decision." The twin then smirked. "Who knows, this might even give you an opportunity to take one of their leaders out. It would certainly assure you the spot and make your job easier." Vasuki cleared his throat. "Very well. Have things been clear up to this point?"

Vernon's breathing hitched slightly at the mention of Stray Dog in particular, to which he removed his flask yet again and took another swig. They'd be working as a team to take out these other groups, huh? The idea of having to work along side the rest of these people when he was so used to just cleaning up after them made Vernon's skin crawl. He wasn't particularly interested in getting buddy-buddy with anyone in this group.
But, if it gets me in the boss' favor...
Vernon leaned forward and snatched a key off the table, looking it over and smiling at the twins. "Crystal clear~!" He chimed. "Anything else we oughta know?"

Once the announcement that one of those in this very room were to take the place of the boss, Aleece felt strangely relaxed. She reacted little to the discord being unleashed in the room, knowing what squabbles were occurring would be suppressed soon. The boss wasn't stupid; a death match was unlikely to be the case, although it certainly would have been more entertaining then...ugh...teamwork.
Oh well. Her pretty red dress would be saved from a few more stains at least.
"I should change," She muttered under her breath as she eyed the material up and down. If they were going to be doing more heavy lifting then she was used to, seduction was likely to not get her as far as it normally did. Not that she wouldn't be trying every step of the way to win all these losers over. Although many likely had cold hearts, making herself seem more likable was certainly something a leader needed. Fear only got one so far. Loyalty was also a large factor, and pain and threats alone wouldn't be a stable foundation to put herself on.
When she became leader.
"Things are very clear indeed," She agreed with the grave digger with a smile, "although I'd like to ask the arrangements of our rooms. I'd like to request a suite, if possible. For my activities~."

Vasuki nodded.
"The arrangement have been made in advance and are nonnegotiable. There will be no swapping or rooms," He hoped his briefness would help drive the point he was unitnerested in negotiating with the contestants. With the intention of answering Aleece's question, he pulled a sheet of paper out from the stack in front of him and then read off of it. "Everyone will be staying on the fifth floor. You will be rooming Annie on room 502. In room 503, Robert and Shirley, 504 Vernon and Reina, 505 Sibyl and Austane, and Claudia will be staying in room 506. My sister and I will be staying on the floor above-" His eyes lifted from the paper "-we will be close at all times."

Aleece couldn't help the small recoil of disgust as she found her request ignored almost immediately. But she quickly tried to recover by hiding her scorn behind some well timed hair fluffs and some rustling of her dress to cover up her grinding teeth. She looked back around the room, having not met this 'Annie' and already displeased. She had wanted to have a fun time, but found her charms worked less frequently on women. Although a challenge was something she certainly was always interest in. "Annie?" She drawled, biting one of her finger nails are her eyes went from face to face. "And which one is that?" Vernon's brow furrowed as he looked around the room, trying to place the name to the face of the person he'd be rooming with. Which one of these blokes is Reina...? After the question lingered in his mind for several seconds, he let out a sigh and stood up from his chair, finishing off the last of his flask. "Is that it then? Anything else we need to know before we 'ead off to the hotel?" He asked the siblings in question.
"I got a job I need to finish before the body stinks up the place." He eyed Aleece as he walked towards the refreshment table and began filling his flask again.

Well, with Vasuki and Manasa going to be keeping on on everyone, it seems like Asutane is going to be sharing a somebody. A bit of a problem. Not a major one..... Who is Sibyl again? Asutane kind of feels a bit of guilt for not knowing who the person is. Then, she was too busy arguing with Manasa her older sister stupidity, as well as dealing with other things so, it's a little bit understandable. Key words being a little bit. She tip her hat up.
"It is understood." Asutane spoken formally. "I'll be sure to stay in the assigned room Sibyl and I will be staying in."

While Sibyl wasn't exactly thrilled at the thought of rooming with a child, he understood it was necessary and unchangeable. When he first entered the estate, he completed overlooked the girl and the gravedigger in favor of Manasa, but from what he could recall, the girl had guts. Picking a fight with the boss' daughter... She was either really brave or really stupid. Sibyl was leaning more towards the latter. Well. He'd see if his opinion of Asutane would change after tonight. Inching forward in his chair, Sibyl waved at Asutane, in case she'd forgotten who he was. "When will we be dismissed, sir?" he asked Vasuki.
