I figured we needed this thread here. So here we go. The rules are simple: Just dump all of your project ideas here that may or may not happen. Just get it out there. I have a few myself, but I'll share them another day on this thread

the main arcs of Project terra of course, basically terra lucis and terra noctis, and a christmas special I'd love to do eventually. Also I have in mind a couple other series, one within the same universe and one completely out of it **

I had SHORTS, where I would basically animate all the goofy nonsensical things that happened to me and my friends. I made the first episode way back in the summer between 8th grade and freshman year. I don't think it really got anywhere though because I couldn't get the voices. Too ambitious. Not really fanime, just cartoon fun.
Mecha's Lullaby. (Mecha Lullabies?) Mecha robot things rampage city and it is up to some Gaelic girl to sing lullabies to put them to sleep, blah blah blah. Never figured out the details. The lullabies would be very pretty... perhaps gibberish in language. (This is one I would do if I wasn't doing Future Agents.)
I had another idea, it had a pretty catchy name. But I forget what it was. Basically a person who can control time who uses that to her advantage to stop a dark evil. It would've had really cool visuals, but I personally think the story would've been shallow. Actually, I think someone else came up with this exact concept long before I thought of it, so kudos to them. (Super Hero Clock? I stumbled across it awhile back. Pretty stellar animations...)
Space Academy was a comic series I did back in 5th/6th grade. Basically Star Trek meets South Park. Absolutely hilarious. I would love to pick that up again, to be honest. This was going to be my go to animated project after FATM, but I don't want to animate anything after I'm done with it. When I'm done animating the movie, I'm probably done animating for good.
I am admittedly full of ideas, but they never get past the brain stage. I might jot them down on a piece of paper in case I try to pursue them in the future as something other than fanime, but I prefer to be considered the type that sticks to one project.
Also, beware of posting too many details if you want to post your ideas... in case anyone passing by wants to rip them off. 0__0

^ Okay I thought I had a lot, but not anymore lol. If you want more details about any of these then just ask, but I kind of doubt that lol (I don't know if these are all necessarily fanimes, but they're ideas for series that probably wont go anywhere that I want to share out there to make you aware.) ...things that rhyme with air...
1. I already said something about the "Tales runner anime" on mermaiden's WIP thread. The story is about a group of people challenged to a race in order to save tales land which sounds just as cheesy as the game is.
2. I have another idea that I probably wont ever do which is more like an American cartoon show than a fanime that I call "Cooking Materials" about a bunch of sentient cooking utensils. I made a game for this but lost it on an old computer and now what I have left of that game is the soundtrack, sprites, and a video of the gameplay.
3. I ultimately decided that I want to make the fanime idea since I guess I watched more anime than American cartoons. This series is probably going to be called "Don't take my hat!"
4. I had a collaborative series that basically ended up as a one episode comic called "Epic Phail High." The characters in this could easily be background characters in my upcoming series. (Actually any or maybe even all of these series might be referenced in my new fanime idea)
5. I had one that I made into a crappy opening animation called "Mythical Dimension." This one has a sort of confusing story and a somewhat RPG theme to it since it was based off of an incomplete RPG I made with an RPG maker. I feel like I hyped this idea up a bit too much but at least its a really crappy opening which is something.
6. Another idea that I had was a religious themed anime comic named "Soul of Shintei" (That name though)
7. I made another incomplete comic based off of the game I made around 2007 "Burnout the Robot." Its about a robot named Burnout who helps people by fighting bad robots I guess? If this were an animation then it would just last forever since it has around 200 characters or so lol. The plan was to have 235 characters but the list is incomplete obviously.
8. Another incomplete comic named "G-T" about a "Group" of robots and their opposites forming a "Team." This comedic comic was drawn on line paper. (facepalm)
9. I have another old game series (but this one was incomplete) named "Tehbunny" which follows a happy bunny and his sister that use swords to fight ants and their robot rivals. This idea was based off of an old flash game "bunny vs world" but with a happier theme. Its kind of like Yin Yang Yo I guess?
10. Probably older than all of these is a comic series following a robot (no surprise there) named "Redfire" which I decided would just become a character in the "Burnout The Robot" series since they were close parallels anyways. Any other series that I've made is either so random that it isn't worth mentioning or isn't primarily my series (For example: a forum game I'm in called "Hunters vs Magicians"). Actually, I think a lot of these are probably not worth mentioning... yeah... probably not...

So I want to kick start this thread back up and share my own ideas.
Magical Nyoto Chan: Where a cutesy school girl becomes a drug addicted criminal through the power of *notcocaine* supplied by a unicorn to fight "evil". Then things get ugly. On indefinite hiatus. Fantasy-Magical Girl
The 2007 Experience: An even worse idea where a depressed teen finds Jesus and preaches the gospel to heathens. Then things get uglier. Originally an emulation of really old fanime, but I fucked up hard. Really hard. Magical Girl-Tragedy
No title yet Where 2 high school graduates celebrate their new found freedom by taking a cross country road trip with everything they have stuffed in the back of a shitty pick up truck. A light hearted production. Humor-Slice of Life
I will update this as I have more ideas, so yeah. I'm not a very creative individual. That and I forget my ideas easily.

To bring this thread back I did have an idea that I really want to develop. No title yet (Maybe Abject Desolation? Something to that degree).
It would center around an 18 year old female by the name of Runa who has the power to warp to an alternate dimension that consists of nothing but a vast white plain. But, this power is used to escape reality and can stop time in the process of being in this dimension. So Runa finds a loophole and exploits it to stop time, giving her prime opportunity to do anything from cheating on tests to ruining the lives of the people she feels has wronged her throughout her life.
Then a god complex starts to form and things get really fucking ugly. Psychological/Supernatural

Purple Syrup: The story of four girls who open up a little mini-cafe where they create delicious, but hilariously unconventional-looking sweets. (I wanted to see if I could make a Slice of Life fanime, but think of all the research I'd have to do....)

SLAMS FIST ON TABLE YES MORE FOOD RELATED PROJECTS PLEASE I have a small collection of project idea for myself so I might as well plop them there ( all of these are working titles lmao): M A C A R O N - about a girl who goes on a vivid psychological journey to her own sexual discovery. ? - a cutesy(?) horror series about a young girl who gets trapped in a public library. Fear Academy - a horror series about a high schooler who is forced into killing her classmates. Baking 101 - Slice of Life series about a young man who really wants to be a pastry chef but really.....really sucks at baking. - Idk what the title would be but it's about a kid who makes robots and get invited to a secret society of monster fighting engineers. Misc ideas I've had: - magical girl series. With old people. - Love story between a kind witch in the forest and a knight who is told to kill her. - Studio Bee: a series about a group of middle schoolers are who start a casual after school club centered around Bees.

I've had a few ideas, one I'm thinking of taking on when things settle down with DRAGONS owe I had CATCH back in 2008-2009, which was basically about these girls at school that ended up bonding through various situations, the main girl Téa ended up developing feelings for the little cutesy Cherri. Later on they discovered that Cherri had cancer and it was this big sad story and it made my friends cryyy. Basically it was a slice of life, drama, yuri, comedy. But I kept getting "meh" about it because fantasy is more my thing. I've also had ideas about post-apocalyptic worlds besides the main "we nuked ourselves" setting, but I'm actually working on a comic with one of those settings..... I say working but I guess drafting in my brain is more accurate. Stories with super plot twists, like a long time ago I had a magical group style story where in the end they all had to entrust everything to the toughest girl/respected leader... and after she'd gotten all their powers she revealed herself to have been the leader of the villains the whole time (even going so far as to take out the eye of one of her subordinates to earn the heroes trust), and she defeated them all and the villains won. oxo

I gotta purge my brain of discarded ideas,
Life Tastes Sweeter With Strawberries (On Top): Slice of life thing with a girl either in high school or college who goes to a cooking class. She wants to bake something special for her crush who doesn't like sweets. It has kind of a Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun vibe to it but instead of manga it's cooking and baking.
The Summertime Picnic Defense Brigade: Elementary school students become like a super team with the power of lunch foods.
Our Automatically Saved Adventures: I spent a month planning out a parody of how ridiculous mmo rpgs can be but then just forgot about it.
Lucifer Academy: If I continued it it'd be a mini-series based on Little Witch Academia except with demons and dark magic with every episode having Lucian messing something up. I almost regret making it a one-shot now that I feel like I could build off of it.
Wishful Julielle: I tried making a comic staring a character who's supposedly Marilyn's older sister who's not really a magical girl but daydreams a lot

?- The story of a kingdom far, far away. The princess has just died and everyone is mourning except her brother, who hated her and her vain ways. Hell, the whole family sucks in his opinion. The king and queen are constantly inviting young women for him to marry, just for him to turn them away because they're all bland and all think the same way. When the burying ceremony starts to die down, he walks through his his sister's old room, glaring at all of her "priceless" posessions (diamonds, brushes, makeup, blah blah...) until he comes across her magic mirror. Long story short, he falls for the spirit trapped inside.
