Aaaaalrighty then! I've got a bunch of stories and I also drew a few sketchy "posters" so people can imagine a few things better!!
Most of these are not enough fleshed out yet~~
1.) Urilii And The Owls Heart
This story is about Urilii (Uu-ree-lee) , a girl that is one of the few that possesses magic. In every family there is atleast one person that possesses over magic and it is tradition that they're sent away from home to learn about themselves and for what their magic is best useful! For example, Uriliis ability is to 'see through things', so far she can use this ability really well on books, she doesn't need to read them to know what's happening! And when she wants to experience the story, she only has to lay the book under her pillow at night and she's dreaming it! She also can tell, if somebody is in love! (except for when somebody is in love with HER - she's blind when it comes to that haha) The next stages of her ability is to ''see through people'' (emotionally) then, seeing through people and things (physically) is the third stage and the fourth, the highest and quite hard to obtain: Seeing through time (into the future and also back).
Thus - Urilii starts to work at a library "Zauberfeder" and lives with the family "Byrne". (However the old man that owns the library is refered to as ''Mr. Buchholz, while his Wife is just Mrs Byrne)
In the town she moved to (that is also nearby her old town) she gets to know alot of people, such as Malina (Mah-lee-nah) and her brother Micah (Mee-kah), both are working for the airmail and possess over magic as well. Their ability is the air and flying.
She also gets to know the fine granddaughter of Mrs Byrne and Mr Buchholz, "Roselyne" -"Rosy" - mostly people refer to her as the "red lady" and a boy, that refuses to tell his name and often comes by and visits the library, he seems to flirt with Urilii alot too. (which causes her to fall for him a bit)
It's told that Rosy is the next keeper of the owls heart, that is as well hidden in the library.
One Mr. Byrne suffers a heart attack and needs to be brought to hospital. Before leaving he hands the key to the room of the Owls Heart to Urilii.
While watching over the library and helping Mrs Byrne out, one afternoon Rosy asks for the key and tells her "as the next keeper of the owls heart" she has to take on her grandpas duties. Urilii, of course, hands over the key. While handing over, she notices that the dog of the family ran out of the house again and follows him to catch him, with no results. She decides to get some treats to lure him, however the door was locked and she's startled.
Just then, you could hear Mrs Byrne screaming that "the boy is kidnapping her" and the "owls heart was stolen" - causing urilii running over to the back door, where she runs into the boy with no name, running hand in hand with Rosy, to some kind of old fashioned tiny plane and leaves. (Rosy winking at her yelling "Thanks for the key!")
It of course was no kidnapping.
But Urilii was quite desperate - how could she ever convince Mrs. Byrne or Mr. Buchholz that their niece was actually a criminal?? Their oh-so-perfect and loved niece?
This event caused Mr Buchholz condition to get worse, the family itself was in grief and worried, Urilii felt bad and guilty.
On this night, while being at Malinas house who comforted her, she decides to search for them and bring both, Rosy and the owls heart back. Since Malina is a bubbly-adventure loving girl, she decides to tag along, as well as her brother!
Genre: Magic, fantasy, adventure, lovestory, friendship
Takes place in: Some kind of different version of Germany!
Also Malina and Micah both wear some kind of wing corset!!
2.) Death Wishes
Basically, Death Wishes is about Cerise - a timid, shy, girl, that one day lost her sister Angelique, who did not come back from school. It's not only Angelique who is missing, there are hundreds of cases that have been happening over the months! Nobody knows how, why and who. The police department is at the end of their ropes. And the number of missing people is rising.
Reading Angeliques diary, she found out that she went to various places their mom forbid them to go - such as the lost night town Attendorn.
Short information about night towns: Night Towns are a natural phenomenon, not the town itself, but the place. It's always night there - it doesn't matter what kind of daytime or nighttime it is, it's always staying dark. (If going by train to a night town you could imagine that its slowly getting dark the closer you get to a night town)
There are several places like this, it's common, however the town Attendorn is an avoided place, the kidnapping of people started right there.
Cerise decides to bear up and takes a train to Attendorn. There she meets Greta, a wanderer of worlds and Bommel, her dog-partner in crime. She is investigating the place, as the numbers of "night wanderers", obscure, dark and silent beings, is rising and she finds it problematic. Cerise tells Greta everything she knows
and asks Greta if she could join her in order to find her sister and also all of the other missing people.
When she allows her to come with her, Manon, Cerise's older sister, appears and tells her not to go with Greta, as she find this whole thing fishy. Cerise, that never had a good relationship to her sister, disagrees and sticks to her plan.
After failing to convince her, Manon joins them against her will and they start their journey by entering an old circus tent, that hides lots of big worlds in it.
Also, the Death Wishes world is quite old fashioned and a mix of Italy (venice) (they go to places (like school, cafés by boat and train) and france.
Genre: magic, fantasy, family, dark themes
3.) La Motte
La Motte is about a moth girl, Luna, that lives a normal life with her close friend Aari (who is great at handicraft in any form and very intelligent) in her swampland town.
One day they meet Elfi, a little delicate and pretty butterfly girl, that desperately seeks for a cure for one of her butterflygirl-friends. She has lost her colours and is in a very weak condition.
However, Elfi is pretty surprised when she meets Luna and Aari, since both of them are not as colourful as butterflies are and calls them 'pretty grey and dark'.
Luna is pretty annoyed by that, Aari is not however. He seems to have fallen head over heels for Elfi. Both of them lead Elfi and her friends to the old lady "Runa" or "Lady grey".
Runa tells them that a curse lays upon her, given by the black widow. This curse has its roots in a legend, where a black widow that has been betrayed by her man with a butterfly, killed both of them and still angered and jealous of their beauty, ate up all the colours of the butterflies and put a curse on them. It says that its the reason why the town and area has become a swamp, the butterflies continued their lives as moths and the area darkened as well.
- to release this curse from her, they'd have to break where the colours are hidden - or kill the black widow herself.
Elfi and another friend of hers decide to go on this journey and Aari wants to join her. Luna tries to convince him not to (as she's also a little bit jealous...) and says its not their business. But Aari disagrees and tells her that it is indeed their business and they could find their true colours back! Annoyed, Luna eventually joins them as well and they start their journey.
(Information: On this journey Elfi seems to fall for Aari as well, and Luna discovers her love for Aari, too and does not know how to handle the situation. I'm also not sure if I should add the possible end of the story here.)
Genre: Magic, fantasy, lovestory, selfdiscovery, acceptance
this takes place in some alternate world of Russia
4.) Masked Cats & Butterflies (I came up with this title quickly, can change.)
This story is about a girl, called Masha, that lives in a world where people wear masks. All the time. You do not know whether the person is male or female, nor does it matter. Unless, the person reveals itself. Mostly, this is after you married someone.
One day Masha is looking for her lost cat and stumbles over Henri, whom is with her cat. Henri has got some arrogant attitude towards Masha and she leaves furiously, taking her cat with her.
From this day on, both meet eachother frequently on the street, in a café, at the grocery store....and after a long way they become friends. Later on, they fall deeply in love with eachother and Masha decides to reveal herself to Henri even though they are not married. Her parents bumped into them right at this moment and both decide to run away.
I (kiiiind of) decided that this story could possiblyyy lean on the DDR/ post war time in Germany, where everyone was strict and also had to follow lots of rules strictly and feelings weren't a big thing. But I am not so sure about it yet.
Also Henri is a girl called Henriette.
Genre: slice of life, love, a journey to your heart and mind
5.) Le Journal De La Petite Chiara
This story was meant for my friends, it is also something...for myself and I pretty like it so far. It also includes only people I know or have seen once in my life.
Chiara is a girl that lives in a world where the government is pretty grey. The common run of mankind has to be monotonous, there is just one way - no two or three to solve, do, make things. At a certain age every childs 'wings of creativity' are getting cut off.
This prevents them from going further and questioning, inventing, exploring...being creative. Except for Chiara - her wings never grew. However, at a young age, through an incident with a magical being that went through her, she gained the power to steal colours. At first she could not control it, she'd put her hand on the wall to lean against it to fix something on her shoe for example, and shortly after the colour of the wall would stick to her hand. One day, this ability "overacted" and whenever she touched something the colour of it went loose and poured down everywhere. This caused a great tumoil and Mr. Time, who happened to be there, took Chiara with him and calmed her down. He decided to bring her to another place, not being allowed to see her family again or people she knew. It was too dangerous. He built a clock for her in which she could save the colours she stole, once she was able to control her ability.
Later on, she was taught about the government, how Queen Berivan was still too young to reign and the purpose of cutting off the wings - with her ability she decides to cause ALOT OF chaos in this 'straight, monotonous' world and along with that she meets alot of friends and also has alot of enemies. Such as the man in the moon, Lady Lea or the face of the sky...
I'd like to say that there is SO MUCH MORE to Le Journal, however if I write down EVERYTHING that'd take so long and this post is already long. @@
Genre: Fantasy, magical, slife of live, lovestory, psychological, selfdiscovery, drama
Also, this here is drawn by Ina, you can see the colourthief and Ina~~
Now the rather less fleshed out stories -
these are two stories that have the same name but a different content in some aspects!
6.) Marzipan Crisis
This one is about three single girls (Mari, Ami and Eri) that are turned into magical girls and have to save love-dovey couples and people that are in love/are about to confess on valentines day, from mischievous monster and people! They are basically 'one-day' magical girls.
Old picture I once drew of Mari
7.) Marzipan Crisis
This one is about two sisters that hate Halloween because it's scary but are turned into magical girls to prevent the world to be drowned in night and Halloween going on forever!!
This outfit will definitely be simplified
